We had such a great family birthday night at Amara!! Dragana made it extra special being so kind and welcoming to my mother, son and husband. She paid attention to every detail. Service always goes a long way but when someone is genuine and kind the entire birthday experience becomes next level. As for the food, we had the seafood parrillada which was a sampler of all shellfish. It had the best combo of fresh seafood over a bed of exotic herbs and vegetables. I’ll definitely be back for some of that lobster. The burger and churracsco come with perfectly seasoned fries, homemade and not too salty. My mother loved her churrasco and said it was high quality. All appetizers were amazing. We had 3 desserts all of which were pure decadence. Highly recommend Amara for a perfect romantic date night or family night. It’s a fun lively place with the perfect mix of dim lighting and colorful Miami aura. I haven’t been to the brunch I saw advertised but will try soon. I’m confident it’ll be divine!🔥
This was an amazing experience with a great view. The manager Casey has really good energy. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing. We got ceviche, crab claws and oysters, try them Johnny Walker black label in a ramekin. Dip the oyster in black label and dress them like you do. The leche de tiger was buenismo, very respectable for a restaurant that's not Peruvian. The drinks had an amazing presentation. We sat outside and while it was in the 40s and freezing, they made it cozy with heaters and blankets. The music was banging and I wish it was a little louder, but I can see how that wouldn't be for everyone. Definitely has a great vibe. I would rate this 5 stars for 4 star pricing. Absolutely worth going.
I had brunch at Amara and it was a great experience. The price-value is absolutely worth it — an all-you-can-eat brunch with live music makes it feel like such a treat. The food was delicious, the service was attentive and friendly, and the ambiance truly stands out. The live music creates an amazing vibe that makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. Definitely a spot I’d recommend for a fun and lively brunch.
From the moment we arrived, the setting set the tone for a truly lovely evening. The outdoor patio stretches right along the water’s edge, offering unobstructed views of the gentle waves. We were a party of 3 and picked a table right at the front of the patio, where the water view was most striking, the layout gave each table a sense of privacy despite the open setting. The kitchen delivered solid, flavorful dishes that complemented the setting nicely. Each plate arrived well‑presented, and the flavors were balanced—nothing overly flashy, but everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Unfortunately, the drinks fell short of expectations. Our server explained that the bartender was dealing with a malfunctioning mixer, which clearly impacted the quality of the cocktails. The price point leans toward the higher end, reflecting both the prime waterfront location and the upscale décor. While the cost may feel steep, the combination of the stunning view, attentive service, and overall ambiance makes it a worthwhile splurge for special occasions. For a memorable date night or celebration, the venue is definitely worth a visit💕
Excellent time over at Amara, Filip made the experience amazing alongside the Amara team. I was celebrating my anniversary / early valentine's day with my girlfriend and we've been wanting to go here for a while now. They beautifully sat us over on the deck infront of the ocean, with the most beautiful view of the city. We were guided, menu was explained thoroughly, and suggestions were up the roof and nailed. We tried out the amazing Tuna Carpaccio, The Amara Salad( insanely good and refreshing), the Charred Octupus (delicious), Sweet Potatoes, and the seafood Parrillada (insane MUST HAVE). Everything was divine and delicious and out right just done with love. They later surprised with a dulce de Leche flan that was just out of this world, alongside a candle to celebrate our anniversary. Cocktails were great refreshing and delicious, and the wine selection was on par with the food we acquired. Would definitely go back here again a million times if I could and relive that first time experience. Thank you so much to the Amara team and Filip for making this experience unforgettable!
Amara Paraiso is my absolute favorite place to have dinner! I love being here and enjoying both the food and the beautiful view. The atmosphere is really nice and cozy, making it the perfect spot to relax and spend time with people you love. The food is amazing every single time, and the last cocktail I had is now my new favorite — the Frojito is a must-try! Everyone I’ve brought with me has loved the place just as much as I do. Highly recommend!
A hidden gem! One of our favorites. Wonderful beachfront (probably one of Miami’s best) atmosphere under lush trees. Amazing seafood. Great for brunch, lunch and dinner. Highly recommend Arroz verde and the Amaro salad.
Amazing place. Everything was incredibly delicious, especially the chicken. Easily the best in the city. The service was outstanding. Tasha took care of us and she was wonderful. Very friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this spot (and chicken!)
Excellent Service from hostess greeting me to accommodating where I wanted to sit, to the beautiful ambience southside nice warm, lighting, warm torch heater, cool breeze from the bay and terrific service from waiter AJ! Thank you for providing a memorable experience for me and my service dog Koji.
Amara at Paraiso is a sophisticated spot with delicious food and, honestly, the best part is the view. They have a lunch menu for $45 that includes an appetizer, a main course, and dessert—great value! There’s pay-by-phone parking nearby, and valet service is also available. Definitely recommend making a reservation for a smooth experience.
It’s a beautiful restaurant with great food and even greater service. I had fillet minion which came like a kabob . The drink was very pleasant. The food was served with a great waiter, named Bryan, which made the experience doubly pleasant.
My best friend took me to Amara at Paraiso for my birthday, and we had such a wonderful time. We originally went for the Miami Spice menu and the views, but when it started pouring we moved inside. Honestly, the atmosphere was just as lovely. The food was outstanding. The Grilled Corn Salad completely surprised me. I’m not usually a salad person, but I found myself still remembering its flavor later that night. We also shared the Duck Confit Flautas, the Grilled Swordfish, and the Dry Aged Beef Burger, all delicious. To finish, we had the Coconut Flan, which was the perfect ending to the meal. What truly made the evening special, though, was our server, Bryan. He was attentive, friendly, and warm... truly the highlight of our experience.
Marissa was my server she was very attentive and sweet. Was very helpful with the menu made some amazing recommendations. It’s my birthday today and not only they gave me a birthday card they brought out phenomenal dessert it was an amazing experience. View and vibe phenomenal just perfect

We had such a great dinner! Lenin was super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious — flavorful and perfectly prepared!
Came here for dinner on a week day and even though we had reservations, just in case, the restaurant was not full at all. The ambiance and the views are absolutely spectacular. We had the octopus appetizer and caesar salad. Both were amazing. The octopus was charred and tasted incredible and the caesar salad was excellent..enough to share. I ordered the skirt steak that came with french fries and chimichurri. I would highly recommend.. everything was delicious! I think this restaurant is great for a group dinner or a date night. Definitely ask for outdoor seating.
We had an incredible experience at Amara at Paraiso! From start to finish, the service was exceptional. Marissa was absolutely amazing and super attentive, always checking in, and made sure our bottomless drinks and water glasses were never empty. We sat outside, and while it was a bit warm, the staff made sure we were comfortable by adjusting umbrellas, offering fans, and keeping us shaded. The buffet was incredible, so much delicious food and everything was fresh and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was stunning, with amazing views and great energy. If you go, I recommend sitting outside, just wear light clothing, sunglasses, and maybe tie your hair up. It’s totally worth it. Highly recommend this spot for a beautiful meal and top-tier service. Huge thanks to Marissa and the entire team for making it such a great experience!

The location by Biscayne bay water front restaurant, perfect for private dining, perfect for dates.octopus, yuca puff, fluffy and great flavor i think a sauce will be a great addition to the dish, steak 🥩 was perfectly cook to right temperature, sauce a bit sweet grapes to finish.service was great
Last December I was there with my family the place is amazing and the food is super great, I am truly speechless about the atmosphere the view is awesome and amazing the staff is very supportive and helpful simply if ur in Miami I advice you to give them a visit and you won’t regret
Amara is a really solid spot with a great view and good energy, the food was fresh and well made without trying too hard, everything tasted clean and balanced, the service was easy and relaxed héctor took care of us, answered questions and made good suggestions without making it feel forced or scripted. Overall it felt like a place you can enjoy calmly, eat well, and actually want to come back to.
I went here with my wife for our anniversary and dinner was really good. The atmosphere is classy yet relaxed, and the staff was incredibly friendly and personable. Lenin is a wonderful server, and both managers we talked to were very sweet and made sure we had a good time. There's a beautiful view of the ocean and the skyline as well.
We really enjoyed our meals. My wife and I were visiting from New England and my cousin who lives in FL. She wanted to try the restaurant out. So it was a good reason for her and her husband to drive 1.5hrs in traffic to meet us there. It was definitely worth it. The ambiance is very nice. Especially on a beautiful night in Miami. The red snapper was great. Also I can never resist having flan. Which was the best flan I had ever had! I will definitely go back when we visit Miami again.
It doesn’t get better than Amara at Paraiso. This is a sophisticated, elegant, fine dining experience with exceptional staff, atmosphere, food, and drinks. The menu is diverse enough that you can make it a casual dinner, fancy date night, or hot spot to splurge with friends. The view on the water is unmatched. Every detail is impeccably curated and nothing has been overlooked. Your dining experience is their number one goal. We started at the bar and then moved to our table outside. From the moment you enter the restaurant you already know you’re going to be well taken care of. Amara is a magical place that will leave you feeling like you received much more than just an amazing meal in a breathtakingly beautiful setting.
Without a doubt one of the best evening views of Miami Beach skyline. Sitting out there enjoying a Margarita was really special. The service was lacking but granted, our waitress had 5-6 tables running. The kitchen also lacking coordination, my guests plates arrived a whole 10 minutes before mine and I had to send back my steak to get it done as I've asked. After another 10 minute delay, the steak came back absolutely the same. At that point I just ate a few bites as I did not like it, did not want to send back again and of course, my guests had already finished their entrees. When we asked for an espresso it was warm, I asked my waitress to bring me another one, she starts telling me it was hot. It was not. We ordered dessert and were told our choice was no good, as almost everyone who orders it sends it back. Why do they still have it on the menu? Anyway, not impressed with the service, the staff's attitude toward customers and the food was not good. The bathrooms need someone there making sure it's clean. It wasn't! Plate presentation was so so. The quality was good but the flavors weren't there for me. Hope this helps and maybe next time I'll have better luck.
It was my first time visiting this beautiful restaurant and what a special experience it was. I was celebrating my birthday and from the moment I walked in, everyone I encountered was incredibly sweet especially the manager Kasey! He truly went above and beyond and I can’t thank him enough. The food was delicious and paired with the view from the deck; made for a perfect evening. Thank you Amara at Paraiso!
A group of friends and I have dined at Amara at Paraiso a few times and continue to go back! We love the atmosphere and the food is spectacular. The staff is always friendly and hospitable! I definitely recommend to anyone that has not experienced the food, the ambiance, and the attention to detail. The waterfront experience is unmatched. Chefs kiss!!
We had a great experience here at Amara, a huge thanks to our server Joanna. She made amazing recommendations on the steak we shared, and the empanada we had was honestly one of the best we had. Great food, great service and amazing vibes. Thank you for making our dinner one to remember. Highly recommend
BEST BRUNCH IN MIAMI !! Known as a brunch snob who has eaten their way through the city, I can tell you with 100% certainty that this is the only restaurant in the US with great food, service, and amazing scenery. Chef Ivan Barros has taken the menu and quality to the next level. If you don't believe me, watch when he won the most famous cooking show in Italy, or try the breakfast burrito for yourself. Book a table while you can, before everyone and their mother finds out just how transcendental this dining experience is or it blows up on tiktok. Every time I leave here I am so full it hurts because I need to have it all. This place is always crawling with celebrities, but too bad I can't take my eyes off the yuca cheese puffs. These heavenly golden pillows are my death row meal. Tied with the English muffin (completely underrated), and I want the fresh homemade jam injected in my veins. Fair warning only a set number is made every day to ensure you're only getting the best and it's not nice to gatekeep. You could eat anything on the menu day or night and not be disappointed. My only critique is that I wish the Kites over Bay cocktail could be served in a gallon-sized bag with a straw. It might be a hot take because there are so many great cocktails (and bottomless rosé), but it's just that good. As a regular at Amara, the staff treated me like family since my first visit. They truly go above and beyond to make sure you're taken care of. Every restaurant associated with the Genuine Hospitality group is a hit. Whenever I see a Michael Schwartz cookbook by the hostess stand, I know I'm in good hands. And if you're leaving 1 star reviews because this restaurant donates ~$1 from your bill to real people in the neighborhood without food (and they let you scummy grinches opt out in big letters on the check BEFORE you pay), then I hope you get what karma's got coming for ya
Had the opportunity of celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday at Amara and sincerely it could not have been more special and memorable. The restaurant itself is extremely beautiful, clean, organized, pleasant to the eye even with the music being just perfect and the employees being warm and welcoming from beginning to end of the service. We sat outside right in front of the water and the views were AMAZING! We started our evening with some customized header menu’s that said “happy birthday” with my boyfriend’s name on it and that alone was the motive of a big laugh and smile which really did bury itself in my heart forever so thank you Amara for providing a core memory. Now, on to the real good stuff: the FOOD!!!! Let me just start by saying everything was way better than I could possibly explain. We started with some of their raw oysters which were INCREDIBLE! They have taken away spot #2 from another restaurant on my list of top 3 places for oysters; these were fresh but also juicy? They truly did felt and tasted like an aphrodisiac we truly didn’t want to finish them 😭 but all food things… after the oysters we had their octopus which was a perfect mix of sweet & salty JUST THE OCTOPUS alone, the lettuce is a nice plus but definitely not necessary trust me when I tell you that this one you’ll want to eat alone it’s also a fun concept the way it’s plated. Next we had their prawns which came with three different sauces on the side; pico de gallo, red pepper oil and I believe chimichurri? (We were having champagne clearly I was doing my best to stay focused) 🥲 which were amazing and we didn’t even use the sauces because the prawns were just that girl, perfect charr and cooked perfectly a touch of lemon just in case but anything else is just extra. Then we had their short rib with gnocchi and little onions (again, champagne) which was also very tasty and the short rib didn’t even need the fork it literally melt at the touch of it, the gnocchi I am not a big fan of but the one served at Amara is suprisinglu good and has a texture that feels different to the taste (in a good way). We finished off with their surprise dessert which was a plate filled with of all their sweets and I have so much to say and it is all good but unfortunately Yelp has said enough so I do invite you to visit them SPECIALLY ON TUESDAY WHEN THEY HAVE $1 oysters YEAH YOU READ RIGHT!!!! Go get you some 🦪 and 🍷😉
Amara at Paraiso never disappoints. From the host stand to the front and back of house, the service was warm and seamless. I visited recently with a few girlfriends, and Amanda the sommelier stopped by our table with incredible wine recommendations that paired perfectly with our meal. That made our evening so special and a huge night to remember. She took careful attention to every detail and we couldn't thank her enough! I’ve been celebrating special moments here for years, so it meant a lot to return with the same group of friends and have another amazing experience. The charred octopus, hamachi tiradito (my go-to), Bone-in Ribeye, Maine lobster with NY strip, Amara Ceviche, and Paraiso Seafood Tower were all absolutely flawless. Our phones didn't eat first this time since we were having such a ball. But it was an easy 10/10. Can’t wait to return and would love to possibly book a private event here in the future for my team
Tasha was our waitress & she was lovely! She is so attentive & goes above & beyond to cater to your needs and make sure you have a great experience. The food & atmosphere was great as well! 10/10.. ask for Tasha to be your server, you won’t regret it!
First and foremost, I go to a restaurant for the meal. The food was excellent! The atmosphere was lovely. It is as close to the bay as one can get without being in the water. The service was just ok. Not as attentive as it should have been. Would go back! The seafood grill platter was phenomenal.
Fantastic experience! You definitely must go if you are in Miami! This place will stay on top of my list in Miami. Everything about it was just great! We live in NYC, and we go to tons of restaurants, but we were so pleasantly surprised by Amara at Paraiso. AMBIENCE The restaurant inside is very high-end and spectacular, but their outdoor terrace is even more fantastic. Their location is in a residential area, and it gives a vibe of a very affluent local spot. The crowd looked like they all just walked out of the magazine's front cover (luckily, we did, too! Hahah)! The outdoor sitting area faces the water, and you just enjoy everything together! Also, the outdoor terrace stands right next to the path walk, and you will see lots of beautiful dogs! FOOD We ordered every appetizer they had and were not disappointed for a second. We had lots of raw fish, and everything was fresh (I had a few bad experiences in Miami). All the dishes had lots of attention in terms of sauce, taste, and visual elements. I will say that whatever you order - you will not go wrong with that. SERVICE The service was of the highest standard. A few people were working with our table, and everyone was attentive to every detail. The manager was charming, and she helped me with a few questions. I honestly cannot be very detailed here because everything was great. The location, food, and service matched in one big: "I will keep returning to this place whenever I am in Miami."
Had an excellent brunch experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly. AJ was our waiter and provided outstanding service, friendly, attentive, and made the whole meal even better. Highly recommend coming here for brunch, especially if AJ is taking care of you.
Amara at Paraiso, was the perfect choice for my birthday lunch with my partner. The view of Biscayne Bay was simply magical—peaceful, elegant, and the kind of scenery that makes you stop and savor the moment. The food? Incredible. Every bite was a burst of flavor, easily one of the best meals we’ve ever had. It’s clear the chefs know how to elevate coastal and Latin American cuisine to something truly memorable. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate, enjoy a view, and indulge in amazing food, this is it!
Amara at Paraiso continues to be one of my go to spots. I’ve been coming here for years to celebrate special moments, and it remains the perfect setting for an intimate, romantic evening. The atmosphere feels refined yet comfortable, and the entire team creates an experience that is seamless, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. During our most recent visit for a couples dinner, Amanda, the sommelier, stopped by our table and offered thoughtful wine recommendations that paired beautifully with our meal. Her expertise and attention to detail truly elevated the evening and made it feel even more memorable. 10/10!!
Would 100% recommend to anyone. Leandro was honestly amazing. Super attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. He gave great recommendations and made sure everything was perfect without hovering.
Leandro was amazing. Best bartender ever. Good service a lot of experience. Thank you for making our night special. We will come back for sure!
Amara never disappoints! Filip, our server, was amazing—as always. We’ve had him a few times now, and he’s consistently thoughtful, helpful, and genuinely attentive. Natalia, the hostess at the entrance, also deserves a shoutout—she’s warm, welcoming, and always makes us feel at home. The food is consistently great. The octopus is a must-try, and the oysters on Tuesdays are such a treat. We’re a bit sad they took the tostadas off the menu—they were a favorite—but we still love coming here. Beautiful setting and view, great service, and delicious food every time.
Absolutely loved it here! The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. We had an exceptional experience with our sommelier Amanda. Her knowledge, passion, and ability to recommend the perfect wine for every course truly elevated our evening.
Sure, here’s a more polished version of your review: ⸻ Came here for a date and had a great experience. The views are especially beautiful at sunset—perfect for a romantic evening. The atmosphere felt intimate and relaxing. Our server, Faran, was excellent—attentive and friendly. Definitely planning to come back.
Wonderful Experience at Amara at Paraiso Bay My husband and I, along with two friends visiting from Switzerland, had an amazing dining experience at Amara at Paraiso Bay. We opted for the "Miami Space" menu, which was outstanding. I made a reservation online and requested a table close to the water. I also called in and left a message, to secure the reservation. Upon arrival, the hostess mentioned that only a patio table was available, but she seemed genuinely eager to help. Thankfully, our server, Zaina J., made it possible to get us closer to the water. She had a fantastic personality and really went the extra mile to accommodate us. The restaurant wasn't full, with many tables empty throughout our visit, so it never felt crowded. When we had questions about the drinks and menu, Zaina kindly referred us to another staff member who knew more about the beverages. Unfortunately, that interaction wasn’t great at all - the individual was dismissive kind of an arrogance. (he only gets a two star) and he walked away and didn’t returned, which we didn't mind. Despite that hiccup, Zaina made up for the experience tenfold. She was incredibly patient, helping us navigate the menu, which was a bit challenging for tourists like us. Her attentiveness, efficiency, and kindness truly stood out. As a small business owner, I recognize and appreciate quality staff, and Zaina is exactly the type of employee any business would be lucky to have.(she would get a 7 star) just for how she handled the situation professionally. The food was fantastic—each dish was delicious, with generous portions and beautiful presentation. And the location? Simply stunning. The view of the ocean and the sunset made for an unforgettable dining experience.
This place is a real gem! Bryan was absolutely awesome—attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful with recommendations. Great The atmosphere ! The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful. Definitely coming back!
Came here with the family for Samba Saturday’s brunch and we had so much fun! Lupe was our server and he was so attentive and made us feel so welcomed. The food was delicious! I got the frijolada it was so good! Everyone loved their plates too. They had samba dancers put on a whole show and people were getting up to dance. Such good vibes! Will be back with more of my Brazilian family 🥰
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Exceptional Service! I had such an amazing experience at Amara at Paraiso thanks to Azucena and Minna. Truly the best service! They were warm, attentive, and incredibly kind from start to finish. They made us feel welcomed and taken care of in every moment, and their energy made the whole dinner even more special. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was perfect, and their service elevated everything. You can really feel when people genuinely love what they do — and these two absolutely do. Thank you both for making our night wonderful! Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back. 💛✨
Loved every moment here! Jenny was helping us out. She made our time there the best! Her wonderful smile and attention to make sure we were good at all times was the best. We also had mimosas and she was on top of it to make sure our cups weee never empty. The food was delicious! Everything we ordered was perfect!

Wow one of the most beautiful lunch experiences that my husband and I have ever had. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were taken back by the exquisite views of the water and the surrounding trees, beautifully decorated dining room and indoor outdoor dining atmosphere. The Ambience was warm and welcoming, just as was all of the staff. Everyone who walked by us, greeted us with a warm smile. Our waitress was Johanna, She was lovely, so friendly, and attentive. The chef and manager were sure to take great care to be sure my meal was free of my many allergens. It was a chilly day but the views were so spectacular that we wanted to sit outside so when we were seated we were immediately greeted by Bryan who not only started up the outdoor heater next to us but also brought me a cozy blanket and took time to chat with us while he opened our bottle of Sancerre. Chef T created a delicious grilled shrimp salad for me and a grilled steak with chimichurri sauce and french fries for my husband. We both loved our meals so very much that we did not leave one morsel behind!!! I cannot Recommend this highly enough!! To me, the staff, the food and the ambiance was all perfection. Thank you sooo very much Joanna, Bryan and Chef T for such a memorable day!!! See you all again soon!

If you go, I recommend sitting outside, just wear light clothing, sunglasses, and maybe tie your hair up. It’s totally worth it. Highly recommend this spot for a beautiful meal and top-tier service. Huge thanks to Marissa and the entire team for making it such a great experience!
The location by Biscayne bay water front restaurant, perfect for private dining, perfect for dates.octopus, yuca puff, fluffy and great flavor i think a sauce will be a great addition to the dish, steak 🥩 was perfectly cook to right temperature, sauce a bit sweet grapes to finish.service was great
Such a good dinner at Amara! It was my birthday and they so sweetly had a card, sat us by the water, and made delicious food recommendations! Each option on the zero proof cocktail menu list was SO good - flavorful and refreshing! We got the oysters (yum!), yucca cheese balls which were delicious, the catch of the day which was seasoned so well with delicious yucca mashed, and the half chicken (that sauce!!) What made our experience was Lupe and his recommendations, his warm and friendly demeanor and the complete ambience of the night. Such a good dinner!!
We had an amazing time at Amara at Paraiso's Sunday Brunch! The Endless Brunch Buffet was next level. everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. at $89 per person it felt well worth it for the quality and variety. After brunch we stayed at the bar, sipping drinks and enjoying the waterfront views. The atmosphere is laidback yet upscale, making it the perfect spot to spend the whole afternoon with my wife and friends. Between the food, the drinks, great service and the unbeatable waterfront setting with a live Dj playing Amara at Paraíso really delivered. We'll definitely be back for another Sunday Brunch soon!
Amara Paraiso delivered a superb experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is stunning, the food is exceptional, and the service truly made the night memorable. A special mention goes to Lenin, whose attentiveness and genuine hospitality elevated the entire evening. He made sure every detail was taken care of, creating an experience that felt both personal and seamless. I can’t wait to return!
Lenin was our server and he was amazing. We ordered the roasted chicken and the seafood spaghetti it they both were really tasty. Let’s talk about the atmosphere. It’s one of the prettiest restaurants I’ve been to. It’s a great atmosphere for a date night. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in Miami!
As soon as I arrived at Amara I was impressive with the beautiful decoration with that “Tulum style”, chic and modern. The view toward the bay is stunning. The service from the hostess to the bartender and waitress, was very friendly. In general, everyone is attentive. About the food… Is not what I expected based on some videos that I watched on Instagram. I ordered Amara’s salad which was good. The octopus was very hard and oily. I wasn’t able to eat the whole octopus because was burned by the grill. Also, salty. The beef was very salty, too much. The dessert was delicious and that was my favorite part accompanied by the view! There is a second floor for events and looks really nice. This place is romantic, cozy and surrounded mostly by local people who live around the area. In my opinion the prices don’t match with the quality of food and flavor. I didn’t like the music at all.
Wow Amara blew our expectations out of the water. This restaurant has a beautiful view with an amazing vibe. You can sit outdoors right by the water or inside where the ambiance is a little more cozy. The staff was so attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Our server Lenin killed it. He gave great recommendations and provided for us all night. He also ensured our allergy was considered in each dish. The food was superb. Fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. We recommend the yuca balls, grilled shrimp, and skirt steak. Oh and don’t forget the best dessert we’ve ever had…the banana basque cheesecake with rum caramel sauce. Literally a drool worthy moment. We will be back!
A birthday celebrated with flavor and detail 💖🍽️. From the kindness at the valet parking to the warm welcome upon arrival, every moment was special. Bryan's attention was present throughout, taking care of every detail to make the experience unforgettable ✨. Fresh oysters, perfect salmon, creamy pasta, and cocktails that brightened the afternoon 🍹. And to top it off, a delicious dessert that sweetened this special day even more 🎂🍮. Definitely a place to return to and recommend.
This place was absolutely divine! We had the arroz verde and seafood parrillada to eat and the chicha morada to drink. All of the items were exquisite and flavorful. Our service from Carolina was so warm and inviting. She gave such great recommendations for drinks and side dishes. Our birthday girl was treated so well with a card and dessert. We will come back when we return to Miami!
Amara at Paraiso 🥳🥳is an absolutely amazing restaurant and a must-visit if you’re in the area. The view is simply breathtaking – dining here with the beautiful waterfront scenery creates such a relaxing and memorable atmosphere. Whether you’re visiting during the day or in the evening, the setting adds a special touch to your meal. The food is delicious, with a well-curated menu offering fresh, flavorful dishes. Every plate is beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared. It’s the kind of place where you can take your time, enjoy every bite, and just soak in the vibe. The overall ambiance is calm, elegant, and perfect for a relaxing dining experience. Whether you’re there for a romantic date, a family meal, or just a peaceful solo visit, Amara delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, incredible views, and a laid-back yet sophisticated atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back!
Dragana was amazing.. she made great suggestions on the menu and she was just such a pleasure to be with. She paired the drinks perfectly with our food. It was also lovely to meet KC. He was wonderful to converse with also!
I have been to this place on multiple occasions, and food is consistently good. While dinner is very nice with oysters and chilled wine by the water, I definitely prefer brunch for 2 reasons. First, you can see the bay, and it is just beautiful, and second, their brunch dishes are amazing. The burger with thick cut bacon is super delicious. I would go back anytime for that. And their aroz Verde is very filling and flavorful! Even if you are not vegetarian, I recommend trying or ordering as a side dish for a table to share. Good place!
had dinner at Amara at Paraiso and the experience was truly enjoyable. The atmosphere is beautifully curated, with lovely outdoor seating where you can breathe in a romantic and charming ambiance — perfect for a special evening. The food is excellent, well presented, and high quality. The only small downside is the wine selection, which feels a bit limited compared to the overall level of the restaurant. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to spend a pleasant evening in a beautiful setting while enjoying great food.
I loved the view here it made the experience even better. There is an additional fee for tables right next to the water, but it may be worth it for the scenery. I had the grilled octopus, and it was delicious.
The location is a five star, specially if you get to sit outside and see the amazing water views Miami has to offer. Service depends mainly on your server. The food experience is good. At least speaking from the brunch side. Confort delicious meals are put together inspired on some of the most desired Spanish dishes. Five star review for food, four on drinks and three on service is what I experienced.
Chic water-side oasis for upscale trans-latin fare and dolphin/manatee viewing Chicken, steak, and cheese empanadas - absolutely fantastic. Flaky, savory, and very cute. Possibly the best I've had. The cheese one was kinda weird Yuca cheese puffs - standard, can't go wrong. I've had better Chorizo sampler (red, lamb and fish) - all good. Fish is an acquired taste. sauces were very fresh Alfajor (dolce de Leche and guava desert sandwhich) - Good texture, tasty, light, and decadent Value somewhat lacking due to high price tag, but the quality and experience is there
We were in Miami and decided to have dinner in the area. My husband wanted to take me out for my birthday dinner. We were looking at different options and decided on Amara since it was on the inKind app list and it’s on my bookmarked list as well. We had an InKind coupon for $50 off $150. Yesssss!!! Plus their gorgeous outdoor area sealed the deal for us. The weather outside was perfect. Went on a weeknight around 6:30pm and it wasn't too busy. although the bar was busy and the patio was busy. There was nobody sitting indoors. Our server was Nathalie and she was very nice. We started with cocktails. I got the Jalisco by Night and hubby got the Lupe Martini. My drink was good with Reposado tequila and habanero but didn't taste too much tamarind. Husband didn't love his drink, but also felt bad about returning it. We decided to try several different dishes and got the following: * Yuca Cheese Puffs with Truffle * Amara Ceviche * Aged Provolone & Caramelized Onion Empanada * Chicken & Poblano Empanada * Steak & Green Olive Empanada * Chorizo Sampler: Rojo, Lamb, Seafood * Squid Ink Torchio Food was good but didn't blow our mind. Especially at the high price point. Surprisingly, our favorite dish was the cheese puffs with shaved truffles and white truffle oil. Quite delicious actually. My second favorite was the Amara ceviche although my husband thought it needed more flavor. I personally thought it was super fresh and had a good balance of flavor and texture. The empanadas were incredibly fresh and so good! You can taste the difference with the high-quality of the empanadas compared to little shops that sell them. The steak empanadas were my favorite. The aged provolone and caramelized onions empanadas were a close second. I think the chicken empanadas were a bit dry but tasty. I like chorizo, but I don't love it as much as my husband, which is why I agreed to the chorizo sampler. Lol. I will say the rojo chorizo was the best one, so juicy and quite good actually. Lamb chorizo was just ok and seafood chorizo was meh in comparison to other two options. We really enjoyed the sauces that came with the chorizo and empanadas. I loved the green sauce best which looked like a pesto or chimichurri. Turns out it was a tomatillo sauce. We asked. So freaking good with everything! We were looking forward to the squid ink pasta. Unfortunately, it didn't wow us as much as we had hoped. The sauce was lacking and didn't love the shape of the pasta as it tasted dense. Wasn't a fan. All in all, the ambience is what won us over along with the excellent service. The outdoor patio vibe is where it's at. Incredibly romantic and just magical with the lighting and waterfront tables. I forgot to mention that our food runner was very good as well, she was very informative as she put each food item down. Did not get her name. Amara is pricey but having the InKind discount of $50 off $150 made it worth it. The menu prices are quite steep for the food. Maybe we just need to try different food items. They have a distinctive menu which I do like. Definitely come here for the whole vibe though, you won’t be sorry. Beautiful neighborhood all in all. Bougie!!!
Water views, outdoor and indoor seating. Chic decor and nice ambiance. Latin fusion cuisine. Be aware that the portions are small and the prices are high. Although the servers were nice, they seemed to be tending a lot of tables so they were not as available to check in on our service. Also wished there was a dairy free option in the dessert menu.
Aj was amazing to us! He is super patient, walked through the menu with us and recommended some amazing dishes. Truly a gem! Will come back to see him and the team.
This is a beautifully designed restaurant with a spectacular water view. The food is delicious and the serving staff is attentive. There is not much more to say about this place, our mood most definitely changed to an even better one after being seated facing the water. We tried the set price lunch which is a great deal offering a starter, a meal, and a dessert for about $35. I had the Cobia with pumpkin puree and it was perfection on a dish. The short ribs were tender and well cooked, but rather flavorless. I gave one less star only because they had run out of the dessert we wanted. (And this was at 2pm in the afternoon) Either way, this restaurant has it all, ambiance, design, and hypnotizing view. You will most definitely enjoy your visit.
It's a great place near the water, so it's a nice place to watch the sunset. The food selection is limited and pretty ordinary, don't expect anything special. I think we were just unlucky with the service, our waiter was tired and in a bad mood. But it didn't spoil the great atmosphere.
Beautiful atmosphere with the waterview. The ambiance is excellent, and the parking is easy. The food is great, and the service is ok. The grilled octopus and hamachi were especially outstanding. The portion sizes are tiny though and no bread basket 😞 It’s a great place to go for a date night or to celebrate a special occasion.
Our recent visit was filled with standout dishes and stellar service, making for an enjoyable evening with just a minor flaw. From the moment we sat down, Joana, our waiter, was absolutely fantastic, attentive, friendly, and a true expert at making us feel welcomed. We started with the smoked fish dip, caramelized onion empanada, a half rack of oysters, and a 10oz Angus skirt steak. The presentation was so mouthwatering that we couldn’t resist taking a bite before snapping pictures, so forgive the missing pieces in the photos! Each dish had its own charm: the fish dip was smoky and flavorful, the empanada had a perfectly crisp shell with rich onion sweetness, and the oysters were fresh and briny. The skirt steak, cooked to perfection, was the undeniable star of the savory dishes, showcasing bold flavors and tenderness. Dessert was a tough decision, so we opted for both the key lime pie and flan. As a key lime pie enthusiast, I was surprised to find myself leaning toward the flan, it was velvety, rich, and perfectly balanced in sweetness, taking the crown over the slightly less memorable pie. If you’re visiting, trust me: go for the flan. The only downside? The kitchen’s pace. It took longer than expected for the food to arrive, which prevented this from being a flawless experience. Fortunately, Joana’s exceptional service kept us smiling and made the wait more bearable. Overall, the food was fantastic, the service was outstanding, and while the delay from the kitchen was a letdown, it’s still a spot I’d recommend, especially for that flan!
Beautiful place with water views. The atmosphere is amazing. The food is good. We went there for the Sinday Brunch and it was great. We also were there in a Private Dinner and it was amazing.
Very very beautiful location, and everything is nice there, but the food was not worth the money well not what i expected, I had the burger Very salty, and the steak it was dry, dont get me wrong it wasn't like horrible but it was not what I expected. Maybe that day it was bad. I am not saying go, but I just expected more.and they have very nice park/ dog park next to it. And another thing I didn't understand it was happy hour, but it's only at the bar not at your table, I did not like the drink selection either. But the location is amazing.and please tell the host to be more inviting.
I've come to Amara a couple times, and each time I enjoy the beautiful miami views by the water, the cocktails and the food. This time around I had to send back the steak because for 79$ a cold steak I don't think so. However our waiter made it right and brought a new one , everything came out at a reasonable time. I still think what you pay for is the view because the steak felt like a waste of money I've had a lot better for a lot less. It is miami though, the dessert made up for it a bit very creamy and tasty. The glass of wine was delicious and the oysters very fresh. Still not sold on the steak I recommend you skip it.

Good food, good drinks, nice atmosphere cool DJ, just the service was notas good. Our server had a bit of an attitude, like if he was doing us a favor or probably was too early for him. Our reservation was on Saturday morning 11:30am. We spend about $600 for a brunch of 4 people. Probably will come back on a different time. I hope the experience will be better with a different server.
We went to celebrate a birthday, and although our waitress was very nice, the overall service experience left much to be desired. The dishes came out at very different intervals, and the entrees took an unusually long time to arrive. Our reservation was at 7:30 p.m., and we didn’t receive our starters until 9 and the entrees until around 9:30. We also had an uncomfortable experience regarding one of the side dishes. When it didn’t arrive, our waitress told us it would be removed from the check since it hadn’t been added to the order. However, a different waiter later brought the dish to the table. We explained what we had been told, and instead of letting us keep it or clarifying the situation, he simply took the plate away. We even mentioned that we wouldn’t mind adding it back to the order, but he responded with, “Mmm, I don’t know about that,” and walked off with the dish. Since we were celebrating a birthday, we also expected some kind of small gesture—like a slice of cake or something similar—but all we received was a card. The place itself is beautiful, but the service needs improvement.
This place was on my “to visit” list and it turned out to be three stars for Hubby and I. We first sat at the bar for a little over an hour as we waited to be seated for dinner during their brunch to dinner transition. Butler took good care of us. Great cocktails overall. We tried the fish dip and onion plus cheese empanada. Both bar bites were delicious! Once seated at our dinner table outside, view and ambiance was spectacular. Honestly would go back just for that. Food for dinner was just ok. Nothing out of this world. The Yuca Cheese Puffs are good but they’re not cheese puffs, they are like the Brazilian Pao de queijo (in spanish, similar to a pan de bono). Tuna Carpaccio was no lt carpaccio. The thickness of the Tuna was good for nigiri and not thin as you would expect it to be. Avocado was over ripe, had tons of brown dots all over. Fresh Catch was cobia, hubby liked his dish but it was definitely overpriced for the type of fish served. Arroz Verde, I expected something else but it was good overall. The dish is HUGE and two people can eat from it. The star of dinner was the Grilled Cauliflower! Soo soo good. Recommend that, the bar bites and drinks. So based off my experience, might go back for the beautiful view and just a few small bites and drinks. Dinner service was whatever. You can obviously tell the waitress changed her mind about us based off what we ordered. Didn’t even bother to sell us dessert, she just brought the check over.
Beautiful ambience and a romantic setting—perfect for a Friday night out with my girlfriend. The atmosphere is really what saved this experience. The food and service were average, and the prices felt steep for what we got. Our server was rushed, and I wasn’t informed about a last-minute change to the catch of the day until the food arrived. Also, the outdoor terrace is right next to a boardwalk, so people jogging or walking their dogs pass by as you eat—not ideal. Overall, nice vibe, but definitely more style than substance.
We were expecting better quality food from this restaurant but we received average quality food ( close to $500 ) bill. My hamburger was not good at all and we noticed that next table to us didn’t enjoy his hamburger as well because more than half of was returned. Our waitress was fine but another one stopped by was rude. Parking people can be more polite and nicer. ( parking rate changes on Saturday and Sunday)? Little surprise
Very poor service , our server had such an attitude . I never had such a bad experience . We were in a group of almost 70-80 people for an organized dinner for physicians . service was very poor and slow.ambience was good It was a predetermined menu with chicken , beef and vegetable options of rice bowl. There were three tables out of 6 tables. with everyone on those tables of 30 guests all needed vegetarian options . We were given on our table of 10 people only three small plates of vegetarian option rice bowl ( which is at most for one person ) to be shared among 10 people and on other table also pretty much same or worse actually table of 14 got 2 bowls .we asked for more vegetables bowls and returned meat options but in spite of asking multiple times they never brought any more dishes . One of the guests on my table asked if he can order something else from the menu for his child was hungry , but this particular server was so rude and with such an attitude responded first that you have set menu and can’t order and flatly refused to take any order when he told her that he will pay personally she said she can’t take any order at all that they cannot prepare more food and they cannot accommodate. LITERALLY SHE FLATLY REFUSED INSPITE OF EVEN AKSING THAT SHE CANT TAKE SIMPLE PASTA ORDER FOR HIS HINGRY 4 year old girl . We even asked if instead of chicken or beef plates for our tables can we get a fish option or annother vegetable options and that was also refused and not accommodated. We all were so frustrated for such a bad experience at this restaurant which was suppose to be high end And amazed at the restaurant management to allow such a behavior and bad management We were a big group if this can happen with such a big group bringing business to them. I wonder how smaller groups or individuals small party or families must be treated there or maybe they are not able to handle big crowds or busy restaurants.
Extremely disappointed with our Thanksgiving dinner here. The restaurant was severely overbooked and had zero plan for the rain. They tried to seat us in wet chairs outside; when it rained again mid-meal, we were left waiting in chaos for a new table. For a $500 dinner for four, the service was disorganized and the experience was stressful. The food was forgettable and mediocre—definitely not the quality you expect at this price point. Great views do not make up for bad management and average food. Save your money!
We had a mixed experience here. The food itself was mostly good, but unfortunately the interaction with management left a bad taste that overshadowed what should have been a lovely meal. We ordered the hamachi (absolutely delicious), the chicken (incredibly tender and flavorful), and the octopus appetizer (overcooked). When our server checked in, I enthusiastically raved about the hamachi but mentioned that the octopus tasted overcooked. I fully understand that the dish is meant to be "charred" but this was charred to a crisp on the outside and tough and dry on inside, which octopus should never be. Our server kindly offered to replace it, which was appreciated and very much her suggestion, not ours. However, when she brought the plate to the back of the room, which we were sitting close to, the manager was clearly visible to us and made his displeasure very obvious (unintentionally). His facial expressions, head shaking, and the way he spoke to those around him were uncomfortable and frankly rude. He then looked up, saw me watching, and it was clear he knew exactly how that moment came across. knowing we were unhappy, knowing we saw his displeasure, instead of coming to the table to address the issue or ensure we felt taken care of, we were left feeling awkward and almost embarrassed for having sent something back. Ironically, the replacement octopus was cooked perfectly, still charred but tender and delicious, proving that our concern was valid. That said, the second plate arrived with only two pieces instead of the original three, which felt a bit petty given the dish is over $40 and we had already eaten one (overcooked) piece from the original plate. The food itself was very good, but the atmosphere did not feel warm or welcoming, and the manager’s attitude turned what should have been a minor, easily resolved issue into an uncomfortable experience. Great food should be paired with gracious hospitality, and unfortunately that piece was missing here.

I recently dined at Amara at Paraiso and overall had a mixed experience. The food was great and the drinks were even better …. everything we ordered was flavorful and beautifully presented. The service wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t particularly attentive either. When we needed something, we had to flag down whoever was nearby instead of our assigned server checking in consistently. What truly left a bad impression was the end of our lunch. Our bill was $183, we paid $200 and left the change as the tip. Our waitress, Carolena, came back to the table to let us know we didn’t leave enough, mentioning that people usually leave her at least 18%. She did say she knows it’s not mandatory, but felt the need to tell us anyway. Quite frankly, this has never happened to me before ……..ever. Tipping is discretionary and based on the overall experience, and being approached about the tip after paying made the experience feel uncomfortable and awkward. Ironically, this was the very first restaurant I chose to start my dining reviews and content with. I was excited about the ambiance and overall vibe, so it’s unfortunate that the experience ended that way. The food and atmosphere are great, but I hope management addresses situations like this so guests can leave feeling just as good as the meal tasted.
Unfortunately, a complete disaster of an experience. We had a reservation for 8:00 pm. At 8:40 pm we were still waiting to be seated due to clear overbooking. This kind of greed—trying to squeeze in more guests without regard for the diners already booked—shows a total lack of respect for customers. When we finally ordered, at 8:40 pm, they informed us they were already out of spaghetti—one of the most basic and likely most affordable dishes on the menu. Even the server seemed uncomfortable trying to justify the disorientingly high prices. Food arrived at completely different times: one plate first, another 15 minutes later, another 20 minutes later. By the time my 10-year-old granddaughter’s dish arrived, she was practically falling asleep and barely touched her food. There was a Santa Claus walking around the restaurant, who visited three tables and then disappeared—ours was never visited. Service was chaotic and understaffed. Ironically, the only moment they were efficient was when it came time to bring the check. At no point did anyone think to apologize properly, offer a gesture of goodwill, or proactively apply a discount. They fully intended to charge 100% for an objectively failed experience, which of course did not happen. Only after explaining the situation to the manager did they apply a discount. I had been here once before, outside of peak dates, and remembered the food being decent. This visit, however, was unacceptable. I would not return, nor recommend it based on this experience.
The happy hour was excellent along with the Service. We had reservations. The BF hostess refused to seat us at an open table by the water which reminded one the entire time we had dinner. The goof was fair in taste, extremely small portions for the $$$$. The waiter would disappear at times. Valet was18 plus tax and tip. Would NOT Recommend!
I found this restaurant albeit famous for their location, not to par with their food and their service. I ordered simple items. The quality was not equivalent to their pricing. The service barely spoke English. Some of them seemed bothered to attend to our table. The entire experience wasn’t worth the price we paid for our meal. It’s safe to say we will not be back.

I have no words to describe how bad this experience was. The only good thing were the Aperol Spritz. We were a table of six with a reservation, and the service was extremely slow. On top of that, they charged us $30 for a “cake fee” — excuse me??? They took the cake and it took them at least 20 minutes to bring it back cut. We ordered two meat parrilladas, $132 each, and the sweetbread was absolutely horrible. The amount of meat on the plate for $130 was tiny, and also doesn’t have any sides!!!! We paid almost a thousand dollars and it was honestly the worst experience ever. The worst meat I’ve had in Miami, the slowest service, and the place wasn’t even busy. P.S. The place is beautiful by the water, but I’m never coming back.
I came here with high expectations and unfortunately left very disappointed. The location and view are fantastic — easily the highlight of the evening — but that was the only strong point during our visit. We ordered drinks and appetizers for four people. The food was decent, but not memorable or worth a return visit. The biggest issue was the service. We waited over 20 minutes for our initial round of drinks and had to ask multiple times — including requesting a manager — just to receive them. Our food was brought out while our drinks were still empty, which made the experience even more frustrating. We were told there was a large party ahead of us and that the next round of drinks would come quicker, but we waited another 20+ minutes. Overall, the lack of timely service overshadowed what could have been a great experience. I wouldn’t recommend coming here if attentive service is important to you.
It’s a crying shame that a restaurant with such a pristine view has to be so poorly managed. The food is at best substandard yet grossly overpriced. And if that was just it, anyone with a wallet to pay would overlook everything else. I surely would have. But the service was so terribly deficient that I just couldn’t. From employing staff that are best fit for a Latin Cafe, the audacity to demand and expect 20% tip for servers who could barely get the order correctly and who couldn’t bring drinks and appetizers before dinner, staff who ignored completely items like olive oil and Parmesan cheese. The pasta was overcooked. The ceviche was not fresh. The catch of the day dish was described as a white bass-like soft fish and it was more like sun-dried mahi mahi. Very, very disappointing. Don’t waste your money there. There are plenty of ocean view restaurants that are fairly priced for what they deliver with kind staff. Stay away from here.
