If you stop by, you should definitely order the Cuban-style stuffed potatoes—crispy and delicious. The empanadas are also excellent. If you'd like something more substantial, order a larger sandwich like the turkey one. They come with cheddar cheese and plenty of meat. Sandwiches alone will cost you about $10 per person.

This place is hit or miss, staff is nice and polite, but they're always running out of certain menu items without telling customers. Once I ordered a sandwich, they waited 10 minutes to tell me they ran out of that specific sandwich. Had to wait even longer for them to get one from the main restaurant that's behind security. This has happened at least 3 times to me already in the past year. No sense of urgency for airport employees who have very limited break times during the work day. By the time I got my food, break was over and I couldn't eat. It's better to go to Subway or BK if you're an MIA employee in a rush

Terrible experience. The two ladies behind the counter were too busy talking to a friend that my coffee was made and just sitting on the machine. When I told them to hurry up (I had a car waiting), they acted bothered. Though I don’t think was intentional, the drink leaked so badly that I had to dump it. The spinach empanada was ok - not great.
