Was looking for good cuban sandwich. And found it. Ham. Pork lots.of cheese extra thick. I had the pan con bistec...also great. The plantains Maduro cooked peefect. 5 stars Good customer service. Will be back .
Cuban sandwich was amazing!! Did not disappoint and the staff is so friendly. Glad I got to try some Cuban food in Miami.
We arrived on July 12, 2024 at 0945 for a morning breakfast. It was delicious, a hot ham, egg, and cheese croissant sandwich with coffee and orange juice and a guava pastry. The service was friendly and customer focused (authentic Fonda Latina). Nothing fancy but great food and friendly service for a great price. I do recommend and will return again.
Absolutely love this place! Served with amazing hospitality and the Cuban sandwich was fresh, light, but super filling. I’ll be sure to come back anytime I’m in Miami.
Inexpensive considering is very close to Bay Side, reliable since they are 24 hours and fast service. Food was good but not delicious, maybe because it was already 10pm and we couldn’t feel the freshness. Empanada didn’t have the crunch expected and Steak in the sandwich was very tasteful but so thin that bread, lettuce and tomatoes would take over, maybe I’m not used to Cuban style and was expecting a Philly style. I try to call but no answer, there was no parking and would have been super if my order was taken to just pick up and not have to pay for parking. It was in a rainy day so I was lucky enough to find a parking spot right in front. I ordered and returned to the car with the empanadas until the sandwich was done. I’m guessing is a Miami thing the fact that almost all 24hr establishments has homeless greeting you close to the door but he was just a little distance looking at everyone coming in. All in all it was good and I would come back again when in the area and ready for a quick bite.
What a great find! We were served quickly and ordered the fried chicken platter which came with 6 pcs wings and two sides. We got the black beans and rice and the fries. The chicken wings are fried to crispy perfection! The beans and rice were very good and you get a large basket of golden brown fries. Low priced, great service, open 24 hours! A+++
We visited with a group of 6 people. The fresh squeezed orange juice is the absolute best! The food came out hot and fast. There aren't a whole lot of tables for dining. It's a popular spot so either get there early or be prepared to wait :) Excellent service!
Authentic Cuban bistro. Open 24 hrs. They serve a really good breakfast. Their Cuban coffee is to die for.
Excellent food! We all.ate there 2 days in a row. The cuba sandwich was Excellent. Sorry no pic!!
Got myself the classic Cubano sandwich and a nice strong Cuban coffee-- my standard breakfast whenever I'm in the Miami area-- and everything was on point. And props for the bread. Nice and fresh and properly chewy.
Delicious food at a great price, good variety. We were staying at a hotel very close, and this was fantastic. The Cuban style sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had, and we kept coming back for more empanadas. If you're from out of town and staying nearby, EAT HERE for the best quick/casual meal.
Wonderful little place with very nice people working there and regular people yumming it. Had Cuban roast pork at night and a Cuban Philly for lunch. Very nice size, we split both. Nice selection of bottled beer and sodas. And warm guava and cream cheese pastries both times.
Blaze bla blaze bla, comment the food was great on the way back from Puerto Rico
Loved the Cuban sandwich. Their fresh orange juice is my absolute favorite! The food came out hot and fast. Would recommend anyone want to have a lovely breakfast.
Just visited Manolo & Rene Grill and wow, what a gem! The Cuban vibes hit you as soon as you walk in. The breakfast was bomb—try the picadillo hash! The staff is super friendly, making you feel right at home. Can’t wait to go back!
Fanatics sandwich’s! Super nice staff. Open 24hrs
It's more a takeout joint but if you wanna sit in there are lots of tables and chairs. The food is great though. Mostly got the meat plates with rice and beans etc. We got takeout twice in a few days. Cost is reasonable for amount of food. Plantains were delicious!
Great food and drinks 24 hrs a day for a reasonable price. I've been coming here since the original location and never disappointed.
Best 24 hr food in downtow Miami for light night grub. Hands down. I walked back here 2 times in one night because it hit the late night munchies so good. Get the tequnio (if in spelled it right) and the empanadas. Hit the spot 👍
Outstanding Place. I come here even if I am not working in the area. The owners, there Families and the Staffs are Amazing. Food is so good. The Grill Chicken sandwich, Papaya shake, empanada, the entire menu is great. Check them out. The Atmosphere is very nice . Try them out , you will thank me later
Empanadas was great. The Cuban sandwich, was AMAZING, but my favorite thing was the fries. So good highly recommend
Great food, GREAT service. I came after a heat game couple months ago, and WOW. Highly recommend for good food and not expensive.
[Mar-2018 edit] They moved up the street, diagonal from CVS. The place is even better now, with A/C, a TV, bathroom, a long bar to eat, tables, the works. It went from being a delicious dive to a great 24-hour diner! I like all the food here. - - - - - 24 hour service!! You know this is a "dive", but you get great food for reasonable $ (and huge portions). My favorite is the Omelette Sandwich which is delicious, enormous, and under $6. The licuados are also enormous and delicious. You could literally order one Sandwich and one Licuado and share with 2 people. The Cuban sandwich is also delicious!
Me and my daughter ate here during our “Southwest crisis” vacation and this was a highlight of the evening. I love finding small family owned restaurants and trying them out. This restaurant meet all of my expectations. Friendly customers service and great good. Most definitely will return. That mango smoothie was EVERYTHING!!!
Manolo’s Restaurant is a breakfast lover’s paradise, and it’s no wonder why it’s renowned for serving up the best morning meals in town. From the moment you step through the door, you’re greeted by the tantalizing aroma of sizzling bacon, freshly brewed coffee, and mouthwatering pancakes. What sets Manolo’s apart is the quality and variety of their breakfast offerings. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic American breakfast with eggs, bacon, and hash browns, or craving something a bit more adventurous like huevos rancheros or chilaquiles, there’s something on the menu to satisfy every palate.
I came here in the first week of May around 12am for an authentic cubano sandwich. The bread was perfectly toasted, the meat was tasty and flavorful. The cheese was extremely cheesy in a good way. And the mustard really made the sandwich pop! The restaurant has a mom & pop feel to it so anyone can feel welcomed. They have outdoor seating as well and you can buy a beer with the food if needed. Will definitely be back whenever I visit Miami :)
Ate here one night before our cruise, didn't know what to expect and maybe not the most inviting atmosphere but my husband still talks about the Cuban sandwich he had here and compares all Cuban sandwiches to this one. Everything made fresh, will def be back the next time we cruise out of Miami. Pricing was excellent too and our server was super friendly and helpful, I think she was the only one working at that time.
Yummy Cuban food and GF available. Cuban espresso was delicious 😋 wait staff is amazing 🤩
I came here looking for a quick cheap bite to eat and I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly and inviting. The food didn’t disappoint either. Will definitely come back.
Everything was great, from my entrance to the restaurant to the service to the food itself. Everything about my stay was extremely welcoming and friendly and the food was nothing but phenomenal!
Simple and delicious Cuban lunch at Manolo and Rene Grill! The Cuban sandwich was crispy and flavorful, the flan was rich and creamy, and the Cuban iced coffee hit the spot. Great Latin music and friendly service made it even better. A must-visit if you’re in Miami, near Brickel, and looking for Cuban fare.
Really fantastic food and reasonably priced. Easily some of the best Cuban sandwiches in town. However, when I went, the bread on the Cuban sandwich was a bit soggy. Luckily, the flavor made up for it. Also, very kind staff and overall great atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Easy, inexpensive place for an authentic Cuban sandwich, although ours could have used a bit longer in the toaster. The cheese wasn't melted at all. Friendly service and a very full menu plus a nice variety of beer. They serve breakfast too.
Very nice the food is really good, the service was very friendly the prices was great I would definitely go back and the. Coffee was the best
Excellent sandwiches, but avoid the toilets. I wanted to eash my hands but So soap, smelly. They lose a star for that.
Service is awfully slow when the cooks change shifts and there's a hidden/undisclosed $8 surcharge added to your bill for the kitchen and staff. You're still expected to tip. Andreas, our waiter, was amazing however and really tried hard to keep us abreast of the situation during our 40 min wait for food. Overall, I'd eat here again if they'd speed up the service.
Great place, loved the atmosphere and really enjoyed the food. Not the best Cuban sandwich I've ever had, but it was still really good. They were quick as well, which is always great when you're pretty hungry. I would definitely go back and take friends. The staff was super friendly and made the experience much more worth while. It was a great experience! I believe there open 24 hours, so that's cool too.
For a place that's open 24hrs you really can't go wrong. Fast service, the food is tasty, and its well priced. My favorites were the fries, stuffed yucca and Cuban. The fries had good seasoning and reminded of McDonald's fries. The empanadas were okay. The plantains were pretty plain for flavor. But that literally the only real complaints. The bread on the Cuban was fresh, not dry. The meat was properly cut so you didn't have fatty chewy parts when eating.
Lo recomiendo al 100%, volveré seguro A local hotspot where a lot of locals go, open 24 hours. Although it doesn't look very appealing, let yourself be convinced by its food, which is very tasty and has plenty of dishes. Another thing you'll like is the price. I ordered a cheeseburger and a beer and it cost me $14. It's usually very busy at peak times, even having to wait in line. Unbeatable value for money, knowing that you're in Florida and nothing is cheap here. The treatment from the staff was magnificent and very friendly, the truth is that they were very good. I recommend it 100%, I'll definitely be back.
It's a corner deli kind of place. Order at the counter and have a seat. The service was excellent and friendly. Looking closer, I probably should have ordered a sandwich or breakfast judging by the menu. Most likely, they specialize in that. Cuban sandwich definitely if I return. The Cuban coffee was excellent. I'd come back just for another small cup. They nailed that one. I got the grilled chicken and a beef empanada. The chicken was fried and served with onions. The empanada was basically a grocery store frozen section item. It's obviously nothing special, and you can tell by the photo. The rice and black beans were basic. It hit the spot, nothing special. For the price, I'd say I felt it was fair, and it was a pleasant stop.
The food was pretty good! I had the grilled chicken sandwich and my friend had the bacon, egg and cheese croissant. She couldn't get the eggs over easy so it was more like an omelette in a croissant. The orange juice was fresh pressed and warm so we had to ask for ice. I like that the place is 24 hours but overall mediocre.
The food was descent, but the staff was friendly. Good place to grab a bite late night. I liked their ham croquettes.
Food is good. Serve runs smooth. Table seating available. Dining area is also the storage area. 18% on larger orders already added. Parking is difficult.
If you’re looking for a simple and quick spot to eat and would like a simple menu to choose from…come here! My Empanadas were kind of dry and I purchased two different ones. The beef had about 1/2 teaspoon of beef in it and the chicken one had a bit more meat. The chicken one was seasoned Better than the beef Empanadas also. Don’t expect much but it’s nice and cozy and the music is not blasting. Give it a shot.
Customer service was great Food was terrible. Chicken tenders were so dry like they were fried twice. French fries were not salted and bland. Sweet plantains were sour due to not being ripe and burnt. Empanadas were good. Honey mustard taste like some weird form of mustard Mayo and not actually honey mustard. First meal in Miami and it went into the trash. Lady working the front was very nice though.
Beware... the person handling the register goes very quickly through the screen showing the total so you may not notice the 15% tip added on automatically if more than 4 are at the table or if the check total is more than $70. Common sense and human decency should have led the cashier and manager to know that a person wouldn't be tipping $28 on a $75 food check. They lost my business.. I have informed enough people of the sneaky way you operate that it will end costing you much more than the extra $16 you took out of my pocket.
After the ball game we were starving and craving medianoche. This place claims to have the best in Miami. It was heh, at best. Low quality deli meats, yellow hot dog bun, skin of the pickle... Yessss I said skin, not even the juicy center. One half the sandwich had a partial pickle the other half had skin. The Yuca Rellena was good and the Cuban coffee perfect.... But if you are going to claim to have the best of something, it should be AMAZING. The tables are dirty, the place is dingy. 2 stars for coffee and 24 hours open. I would still get it for drunk food.
WORST MEAL EVER!! had the pork with black beans and fries. Pulled pork dry and tasteless. Black beans same. The fries were passable, if you've been starving for a week. Best thing was the $3 Stella beer, but even that didn't wash out the taste of the pork. Avoid like the bubonic plague! Can't give zero stars cause it won't let me
Went to the bathroom to use I had to really use it.I go.to use it no problem. I leave. Then I go back because my friend went in. The guy behind the counter insults my friend for me not paying before using bathroom. Instead of talking with me. Had I known that they insulted my friend I wouldn't have bought anything the second time I came in.
The food is disappointing and nasty. Chicken was breaded with all BREAD no meat. Fries has no seasoning, soaked in cooking oil, not crispy at all. The OWNER doesn't give refunds so be mindful when you order. I've seen bugs on the counter of this place by the cash register. The lady with the orange color hair is so nasty and disrespectful. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. Will be calling the health department asap. THEY DONT NEED ANY STARS AT ALL I don't recommend any dishes
The muffin I got was so stale I couldn't pull it apart, its 3 days more stale then the one I got 3 days ago. Which made it clear they sell two week old pastries. How hard is it to keep fresh muffins!?
