Everything was absolutely excellent from the food to the atmosphere. The flavors were authentic and delicious and every dish was perfectly prepared. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was the service. Fatima was simply outstanding warm attentive and made us feel right at home. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing Portuguese food.

The authentic Portuguese cuisine was delicious and our server Leandro was a pleasure and very professional. They even came out with a birthday candle on our dessert for my girlfriend after I left a note during reservations; Nice touch. Atmosphere is upscale but comfortable with some nice Portuguese touches throughout. The dessert was Bomb! We ordered the Bolo de Bolacha; highly recommend. I ordered shrimp as an appetizer and the sauce was soooo tasty with a little kick! The grilled octopus was also very good. The Old Lisbon steak was very thick and filling. Great food and flavors. Overall, great experience. Will comeback here for sure!

Food is delicious, very cozy and the service is spectacular, has opened in Aventura for lunch, dinner, and happy hour. My favorite is grilled octopus seared in garlic and olive oil. Fabulous. The best bolinhos de bacalhau . Wow. My Husband favorite in the world is shredded codfish with onions, boiled eggs, and potatoes). I truly recommend for family and friends

I had the Tuesday lunch special, the shredded codfish trilogy. Chocolate mousse for dessert plus a bica (espresso). Great bread and butter too. Everything was delicious and authentic Portuguese. Excellent friendly service by Veronica and the rest of the staff. I'll be back!

She took the time to explain the dishes, give great recommendations, and made us feel so welcome throughout the entire meal. We really like this restaurant, we like the nenu, the quality of food, and their ambiance. but there were people yesterday without reservations that were inserted by hostess bypassing people with reservations, making us seat 15minutes after our reservation.

I recently dined at Old Lisbon and had a lovely experience. The Sardines and Salada de Tomate were excellent choices, both recommended by our server. They truly showcased traditional flavors that are hard to find elsewhere. We also had the Bife de Churrasco and the Bife à Old Lisbon, which were a bit on the dry side, but still enjoyable overall. However, the real highlight for me was the dessert—Pastéis de Nata. These creamy custard tarts were absolutely delightful and the perfect way to end our meal.

Rafa was our server and he was very knowledgeable and attentive. We had the lunch special which includes a soup or salad with your mains. The salad was fresh and soup was caldo do verde very good. For the mains we had Bacalhau Bico which came with chickpeas tomato and sausage and had a great complexity of flavor almost like a lobster dish. For the other main we had Carne Porco which was pork and potatoes in an amazing sauce with pickckled carrots. This paired perfectly with the Principal Calcario 2012 red blender ordered from Bairrada. A fruit forward but nicely aged blend of indigenous Touriga Nacional with international variatals, Cabernet and Merlot. For dessert we got the Pasteis de Nata which is a custard tart they make in house daily, absolutely delicious!

The absolute best dining experience in south florida! The traditional Portuguese dishes are delicious and the wine list is fantastic. Must try if you are in the area.

From someone who has been to Portugal more than once, I have to say that Old Lisbon provides excellent, traditional food at a fair price. The ambience is nice and well-decorated, and service was very good. For starter, I recommend the bolinhos de bacalhau (codfish croquette), and for main course you cannot go wrong with the bacalhau (codfish). They have a good variety of codfish dishes in both filet form or shredded. For the first, the best was the "bacalhau a lagareiro" and for the latter, the "bacalhau com natas." The octopus (polvo a lagareiro) was excellent too. And for dessert definitely go for the pasteis de nata.

The food is very good and the dishes have a good size. The octopus was cooked exactly as it should and tasted excellent! The environment is also very nice, bright and modern place, but yet cozy and fancy looking! Service was very good and the price is not the best, but it’s worth it!

I think this is the best restaurant in the area, by a wide margin. I was in town for work for about 2 weeks near Aventura mall area. Esch night I would try a new highly rated restaurant and Old Lisbon was by far the best I had in the area, so much so I came back a couple times. The shrimp appetizer was incredible. You can get it in a garlic sauce or a homemade spicy sauce. Both are incredible, but if you like some kick or a bit of spice I HIGHLY recommend the spicy sauce. While here I had the Iberian pork entree and the Duck confit entree and both I absolutely cleaned the plate. Meat was so tasty and tended. Pictured is duck confit. I only had one dessert throughout my visits, but I had these cream custard tarts topped with cinnamon, which was a recommendation from the server. Stellar, not to sweet, but just sweet enough. Every time I went service was also top notch and ambiance is awesome. A very cool tree in the dining room which it + the lighting makes for a great setting.

Absolutely wonderful restaurant. We were in the area for just a few days to get away for the weekend and our goal was to enjoy a nice opera and some good food over the weekend. This place was a wonderful treat. Every dish was well made and the service was very attentive. Best part is we were not rushed but allowed to sit back and just take our time. Two small bits of feedback though, ask your younger staff to not wear so much cologne. My wife was having a reaction to staff members cologne making it difficult to enjoy the evening. Also, when cleaning plates off the table, I would suggest not smacking the silverware against the plates at the table to clean them off. I don't enjoy having to get my $1000 suit jacket dry cleaned to get stains out after having watched your staff splatter food on it.

We came to this restaurant looking for a good seafood soup, and overall the visit left a pleasant impression. The service was very professional and attentive calm, friendly, and never intrusive. The interior is stylish and well thought out, with a refined, upscale feel and pleasant background music that creates a comfortable atmosphere. I tried the port wine flight, which was well curated and felt more like a small story than just a selection of drinks. We ended up ordering two different seafood soups. Both were flavorful and satisfying, and the portion sizes were surprisingly generous. The only drawback was the squid in the soup, which was slightly overcooked and therefore a bit chewy, standing out from an otherwise well-balanced dish. We also ordered the sardines. Unfortunately, neither the presentation nor the flavor made much of an impression. The dish felt rather neutral and did not leave a pleasant aftertaste. Overall, this is probably a dish best suited for true sardine enthusiasts, and it wasn’t a highlight for us. That said, the restaurant as a whole left a positive impression thanks to its excellent service, inviting atmosphere, and generous portions. A place worth revisiting.

We went for Valentine’s Day and although the atmosphere was a bit chaotic and we had reservation and we were not seated until 40 mns later, which we understood because it was a day that it was very packed. despite all those inconveniences, we had a great time. Food was delicious, we were very well served. We were given a few complementaries which we were very thankful for. Definitely will go back in the near future.

Service started off great but was not very attentive and all food was very bland. Salad very basic, seafood stew no flavour. Very disappointed in the food given the reviews it had and the seafood lover I am.

Nice modern atmosphere, the young waiter is a gentle accomodeting server but the food is a stomach issue. The Mussels as well as the Bacalao and the Optipus were submerged in the olive oil and we had strong stomachache. The sardines very testing but they should have been cleaned like fillet to avoid spendind so much time to clean them. Price wise is defenetly over priced. Whether we will come back or recommend, it's a big ???

I don’t know Portuguese food, I go by my authentic impression - the appetizer grilled sardines - perfect, if not for the tomato sauce dressing the plate. Not a good combination and I had to ask for lemon slices which are usually coming with grilled fish. The main course, breaded cod was disappointing - I expected « breaded » fillet not some chunk of code in a dark, brown crust.Real ugly looking. Not appealing to the eyes and not especially tasty. But, again, the fish was flaky, not overcooked, and the mashed potatoes very tasty. The mixed vegetable side dish was watery and chuck-full of cooked garlic with a heavy after-taste. The custard cups desert was over powered by cinnamon, definitely not freshly prepared and not appealing to the eyes. Just there… without any pretense. Leo, as our server, was attentive and engaging . He even brought us some delicious port on the house and all-in-all we had a great time.

Since months as an Aventura residence we were interested to try the Old Lisbon Restaurant and we did. The athmosphere is nice , modern and elegant. The server a nice young guy that he was very professional. The food not as we were expecting. The Mussels , the Octopus, the Bacalao submerged in the olive oil. Actually only after 24 hrs We could digest the food. Wrong food choice ??? I am not sure as a hotel owners we couldn't give a good 5* review. Maybe we will not return . Price over the regular actually overpriced

Having visited Lisboa back in March & loving the food, especially their pastel de nata, I knew I had to pay a visit when I saw them on the Miami Spice list. Beautiful restaurant! We ate off of the Miami spice menu. The bread rolls were super hot & super hard. The olive oil garlic butter was yummy. I did NOT like the sausage appetizer at all, it was dry and tasteless. However, the presentation was nice. The shrimp dish was okay, the sauce was tasty. I was so disappointed in their pastel de nata (my main reason for going), it did not taste fresh at all. It tasted reheated. Lastly, the experience & meal was ruined for me when I found an eyelash on one of my French fries, gross🤢. I showed it to the waitstaff who did or said NOTHING! Granted she did not speak English. I thought that she would have told the manager but she didn’t.

Interior is great: beautiful, well thought of design of the restaurant, warm and pleasant atmosphere. However, unfortunately, I did not enjoy my dinner : the code fish dinner I ordered was way too salty, extremely salty… I could not finish it. Later I regretted that did not change to something else from the menus.

I would like to share my feedback. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Unfortunately, after this meal — which was my only one of the day — I experienced severe illness during the night, with vomiting and diarrhea. My husband and my daughter-in-law also developed similar stomach discomfort symptoms. I am sharing this experience so that it can be properly reviewed.
