We had my birthday dinner here with our two girl and it was a great experience. The girls said it a bit noisy and loud. I think it’s a great energetic environment for celebrations and a night out with friends or your partner. Great music and beautiful paintings, wallpaper, and decorations throughout the restaurant. One thing I did notice is that The space is very small not much room to walk around even to go to the bathroom and back. The bathroom itself was small with only two stalls. But the food was absolutely delicious. Definitely got our moneys worth. Everything we ordered was as described on the menu and was full of flavor. My girls were sucking the bones! The drink was perfect and our server was very nice. He even had a spot light for me to take my pictures for my blog! Love it. We had a great time and really enjoyed our experience. We’ll definitely be back and recommend it to our friends and family.

For dessert, we had the crème brûlée. It came in a custom tin you can take home if you’re too full to finish it (which is likely). Smooth, rich, and a great way to close things out. Papi Steak is definitely a scene, and yes, it’s pricey—but the food holds up, the service is on point, and it’s a spot worth trying at least once if you're in Miami.

The staff seemed passionate about what they do and they created excitement about our dining experience. The waygu pastrami is INCREDIBLE. I could have eaten multiple portions of the carpaccio by myself, it was that good. The tuna tartar was delicious. We ordered the beef case steak which is a whole thing. Before it’s cooked they bring it out with an over the top presentation (in the best way). There’s always a fear that a big show is a gimmick to overcompensate for mediocre food but that’s not true at all at Papi Steak. Our entire table agreed it was on of the best steaks we ever had. Impeccably seasoned and cooked to perfection. Truly outstanding. Our side dishes were good but not amazing (truffle corn, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes). The cocktails were fantastic. Try The Gatsby with mezcal or tequila instead of vodka and enjoy one of the most flavorful cocktails of your life! The restaurant is beautiful. The decor is dark, moody and maximalist but feels very Miami. Go early if you want a quiet intimate experience but stay longer for the party.

The flavor harmony in this dish was unlike anything I've ever tasted and I've fine dined around the world. I'm also a chef. The 5 layer cake was superb and rich but not overwhelming. Our server was Angel and wow was he amazing. So welcoming, so personable, so easy going, so helpful and just all around nice guy. He didn’t hover he allowed us to enjoy our dinner and company but he’d check in so casually and always for a good chit chat. The hosts were also nice, which post pandemic is very hard to find welcoming genuinely nice hosts who actually seem happy to do their job. And our bartender, wish I could remembered her name. African American young lady was so helpful when I couldn’t decide what to order as a drink. She was helpful, patient and genuinely seemed happy to help and serve us. The food was just amazing. Amazing experience. One of the best (if not the best) steakhouses I’ve ever been to. The pastrami was delicious (some crazy reduced wine sauce). The vibe of this place is fantastic. The service was top-notch (don’t think I’ve had this type of service anywhere). They were accommodating, everyone seemed happy to be there, so naturally easy-going and so polite! The food? crazy good. I had wagyu beef before, including A5 steaks, but this was just great. The music brings the place to life; it’s a bit loud but a comfortable level for a conversation. If you are looking for a steakhouse with a great vibe, this is it.

The atmosphere is buzzing with life but still feels very private, never too loud that you can't have a conversation with your party if desired. The service staff were very talented and attentive to us at all times, if there was water on the table from the bottom of our cups it was gone before we could notice and our cups never reached empty, beyond that they had extraordinary manners and poise. Our waiter was very well spoken, friendly and had an intimate knowledge of the menu, it was our first time dining here and he helped us navigate our ordering experience so we got exactly what we wanted. I'm told the kitchen is staffed by a modest sized team but they create some truly sensational food for those willing to grace the restaurant with patronage, and should feel proud of what they've been able to accomplish here, this is the new standard of the American steakhouse farm to table. 5 stars.

I was here on a business trip and decided to take my new business partner to poppy steak! Our reservation was for 10 PM and we were there till about 12:30 or so! From the moment that you are seated until you leave, you are greeted and treated with the absolute best hospitality service I have seen in the United States. Travel around the world and been to many beautiful restaurants. This experience is one to never forget and I will be back every-time I am in Miami. One dish I didn’t post that you must have is the Hamachi Crudo! The citrus Ponzu with shallots do not leave your taste pallet for along time! It’s been a few days and I can still taste it (in my head)! amazing job to the whole staff, management, And the Groot hospitality team!

I will say that unless your kids are well behaved, this is not the place for them. We booked for the first seating so we were in and out before it got busy.

Checking through the reviews it has lots of 5 stars but also several one star ratings that made me hesitant to go. I'm SO GLAD I went. The steak was cooked to perfection and the staff were super courteous and welcoming. I couldn't of asked for a better experience. In regards to the price, it's not cheap but if u are from places like I am from like Vancouver or New York then the price is very reasonable and average.

OMG, seriously… one of the best meat places I’ve had in a long time plus the atmosphere is so cool, it’s a little too dark for my taste but definitely entertaining since you get to see plenty of celebrities from time to time. I started off with one of the best Caesar salads in town, the dressing was just perfect. Try the Wagyu Australian skirt steak (to die for), the Creekstone Farm Boneless Ribeye was also very juicy and tender. As for the side dishes, Cauliflower and the Brussels Sprouts were delicious. To top it off, finish with the cheese cake, yummy 🤗

We recently dined at Papi Steak for their 2024 Miami Spice menu, and it was a phenomenal experience. We started with the Hamachi Crudo, which was fresh and flavorful, and the Wagyu Carpaccio (a must have), which simply melted in your mouth. For our entrees, we chose the Filet Mignon and Wagyu Skirt Steak (get the Chimichurri sauce)—both cooked to absolute perfection. These were hands down some of the best steaks we've enjoyed in Miami! Although the Miami Spice menu didn't include sides, we added their Whipped Potato and the featured Truffle Corn, both of which were delicious complements to the meal. For dessert, the Carrot Cake was moist and flavorful, and the Chocolate Hazelnut Profiterole was a decadent way to end the evening. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere at Papi Steak made for an unforgettable dining experience.

The vibe is excitement and fun! Great decor, and you immediately know you are at the hottest spot on South Beach! The energy is amazing. I have been to many steak houses. This is the only one where my Filet Mignon melted in my mouth with each bite! Perfectly seasoned and cooked. The loaded baked potato with Papi Caviar was a knockout! Delicious. The Wagyu Pastrami that was recommended by a friend was outstanding. It also was melt- in-your-mouth goodness. We also had the Lobster Mac n Cheese (delicious) and the Latkes dish (delicious). Accompanying the fabulous food was a bottle of Icoceles Justin, which went so well with our dishes. Are you drooling yet? You haven't heard about the Dessert Platter yet! Reservations are a must here! We went on a Tuesday night and it was very very busy. The service is top notch. Valentino was our server and was personable as well as knowledgeable about the menu and made superb recommendations. We started off with yellow tail in Ponzu sauce and Florida Honey Bacon. The yellow tail is a great way to get the palate fired up and ready for more. The bacon was perfect with the honey dip. We ordered the porterhouse medium prepared with lobster Mac and cheese, cauliflower, and whipped mash to accompany. The porterhouse was melt in your mouth great and the cauliflower may have been the best cauliflower ever. The lobster Mac and cheese and whipped mash were good but the cauliflower is the definite winner of the three sides. We ordered a butter pineapple cake for dessert and wow I would of ordered two more if I wasn't watching my figure lol. Again the atmosphere is very sexy, vibrant, and definitely a great spot for a date night with your forever cause it's expensive but worth it.

You know what, I had a different review about this place a few months ago. I decided to come in and change it. The first time we went the service wasn’t great. We spent $5000 and were being forced / kicked out of our tables after a certain time. I didn’t appreciate it. I think certain customers need to be assessed individually. If it is someone spending $5000 you should show them a little more respect and not harass them to leave after the “time limit”. If it’s 7 people sharing 1 thing with a $100 bill, then I understand the limit. Im just saying that I doubt they kick out Drake if he’s there more than an hour and a half. The second time we went everything was A+. Our server Chris is what really made it for us. Wow what incredible service. I’ll be asking for him again in the future. He is what made me come and change the bad review I left before. He was always on top of everything and with a fantastic attitude. He was a real pleasure during our visit. I’ve never had a complaint about the food. The tomahawk is one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten. The appetizers are all incredible. The sides are delicious. And the desserts are also tasty. There is no room for improvement because the food has been perfect on both our visits. The atmosphere and music also A+. I’m glad we came back and gave it a second chance. We will be back again and hopefully continue to have good experiences.

Incredible steakhouse! Order the beef carpaccio and yellowfin tuna appetizer. As for steak, you can’t go wrong here - everything is amazing and it’ll be cooked to perfection. The wine list is extensive and the cocktails are very good. The staff are great and the service is very good. Highly recommend this place!

I had dinner at Papi Steak last night and our server, Fabio, was phenomenal from start to finish. He was friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He gave great recommendations, and made sure our drinks were always full. What really stood out was how effortlessly he made us feel welcome and taken care of. It made the whole dining experience even better. Definitely ask for Fabio if you go — you won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic steak place with a hilarious scene to accompany your food. The steaks are excellent but completely overpriced. That said, if you come here for the food only you’re in the wrong place. This is one of the best places to see celebrities, celebrity-wannabes, wealthy customers, and people who wish they were wealthy. The interior is cool and the place is rather small. Music is loud but nobody comes here to try to have a business dinner, and if you do you’re in the wrong place. We found it hilarious to watch the $1000 steak shows (they sell a lot of them), with all its fanfare and commotion. We didn’t try one of them as we already had dinner elsewhere. We did have the appetizer equivalent and it was delicious. And overpriced. The staff is excellent. In spite of not being regulars here we felt at home right away. The bartenders are exceedingly nice and helpful, and also interested in hearing other versions of their own cocktails. They were very professional and made our visit great. We will come back next time we visit the area. For the scene, and also for the food and drinks.

I have been here a few times, but this time was meaningful as I came with a parent who is disabled. Our reservation was at 11PM (busy on a Saturday), we did have to wait, but I feel that’s a Miami thing. Everyone was so kind and accommodating when it came to her. Our server Jeremy was very kind and interactive. The food was great, like so good. Pastrami is a MUST! I always say this is a place that’s worth the hype. Great experience now multiple times. Music is loud, but it sets a fun dinner vibe.

I came here for the opening and swore I would not return. My friends were in town just recently and booked this restaurant to try it, so obviously i gave it another try. I am so pleased I gave it a second chance! The steak was great, an extensive wine collection, the apps were all fantastic but the main character was absolutely the Caviar baked potato. The service was great as well, they really were on point this time... but it could have also been because of the company we I was with.

A Memorable Steak Experience with a Pricey Twist. To start off the meal I ordered the crab cake appetizer and my drink was the “Summer in Mykonos “. It was a delightful prelude to the main course . I couldn’t resist ordering the lamb chops which was cooked to perfection. Accompanied by a side of lobster Mac and cheese which the combination of flavors was simply divine . While the prices at this restaurant are on the higher side , just be prepared to spend a little extra to indulge in this culinary delight. There is limited parking in the area but the restaurant offers valet service . This convenience does come at an additional cost .

A celebration with friends, the waiter was spectacular, very knowledgeable and friendly. We went with the special Kobe beef tomahawk, and three sides, which included mushrooms, mac & cheese, and sweet corn, which was spectacular! As for dessert we had the cheesecake which was probably the best I’ve ever had down here in South Florida and the apple strudel, which tasted like a slice of homemade goodness. Overall the six of us had a great time and who can forget about the drinks. The Moscow mule was awesome!

The service, decor, ambience, lighting - all are perfect! The dishes I ordered were done well, but were way overpriced, compared to nearby options, even after taking into consideration the quality of food and the value of the experience. The dessert menu was not on the level of the rest of the food, I left with a bitter dry taste in my mouth, will skip the chocolate cake next time.

As expected it is overhyped! Lol but I knew that prior to go in because that is usually how it goes with these "famous" restaurants. Now I have 0 complaints about our service, actually it was really great. Fabio our waiter was so sweet, everyone there had a smile on their face, happy to serve. I had a Weird and unexpected problem with my food but I am not whiling to disclose because Fabio and his Manager went out of their way to make it right( they removed the food out of my bill and gave me complementary desert) It was something that could've happened in any other restaurant but I am very pleased by how they handled. Overall it was a good experience but just be aware and make sure this is the correct restaurant for you and the vibes you are going for :)

What a great experience. The service was unbelievable and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The pastrami is a definite must have. The only disappointment was the $1000 tomahawk served in a suitcase. We should have done the trio instead. The cocktails are perfectly balanced and the wine selection is amazing. The sommelier was a little clueless - he smelled the cork 🤦‍♂️. Overall I would recommend this restaurant to friends.

Maybe we were lucky but we were seated right away . The banquets are the best place to sit. The steaks were good. The service was friendly, and they are great with food allergies. Less vinegar on the salads would be good, perhaps order dressing on the side. Sorry pictures are not clear.

Waited 1 Hr past our reservation time to be seated. We had to wait in a small narrow hallway that had a bad smell to it (behind the bar). Rude hostess. Finally we were sat into the crowed seating area, so tight you getting to the restroom was a mission. Now for the good part our server was excellent, the music was great! If you want the ambiance of a night club, but just the time slot for a dinner, this is the place for you. The food was really good. Dover sole was cooked to perfection, Tomahawk steak was buttery with perfect sear. Even the mashed the potatoes was Really good. Our favorites include the Chicken Schnitzel, Potato’s Latkas. The drinks were delightful. I truly enjoy the rich chocolate cakes is layers with a light creamy mousse, I initially I ordered the cheesecake, but once I tasted the chocolate cake it stole the show. Sides are vegetarian friendly, some salad to. I will definitely go back if I am in Miami, but will not wait that long.

I've wanted to try this spot for a while and it didn't disappoint. If you're trying to catch Miami spice just know they don't serve that menu on the weekend. The music/vibe was just right. Seating was really close though so the tables beside us were in our Convo and vice versa lol. When it comes to the food let me tell you the steak definitely isn't overhyped. We had a ribeye and filet. Both packed flavor and melted in your mouth like butter. We did the crab cake appetizer and it was pretty good as well. And as shareable sides we did the corn and mashed potatoes which were just ok. I chose the cheesecake for dessert and I didn't care for it but overall I had a really good experience and would recommend dining here. The only other reason I took off a star is because they offer you bread and water as if it's free but they charge for it as well.

As parking in the vicinity is largely dependent on chance, I opted to utilize the valet service for $25. Following my preparation for the Miami ambiance, I was greeted by a door security guard who inquired about my reservation status, to which I replied affirmatively. Upon entering the establishment, I ascended a short flight of stairs and was greeted by a female host who requested my name and escorted me to my seat. The ambiance is characterized by a dark and sleek aesthetic, complemented by a tasteful arrangement of seating in the main dining area. Additionally, they have a separate back room, which I assume is designated for groups of five or more, and it appeared to be more vibrant than the main room, featuring a live DJ. Upon being seated, I was presented with a menu and drink menu. The prices are reasonable in light of the available options, and the drink menu and bottle service are somewhat fairly priced. Shortly thereafter, an exceptional server greeted my fiancé and me. Our server exemplified the epitome of service, and I regret not recalling his name, although he bears a resemblance to the main character from Sons of Anarchy, Jax Teller. He was exceedingly attentive, and I would rate his service and attention to detail as 10/10. We ordered two cocktails, which arrived in approximately seven minutes and were outstanding in terms of taste and presentation. We also ordered macaroni and cheese, creamed spinach, and a porterhouse steak cooked to medium rare for two. Honestly, Papi Steak serves the finest steak I have ever had the pleasure of consuming in my entire lifetime. This restaurant is all hype. The seating was honestly super annoying. I couldn’t even stretch my arms out to cut my steak. On top of that, we got charged for bread lol. I wouldn’t return to this restaurant. I rather go to Flemings and nursert where the food is actually very high quality.

I always make sure to come here everytime I’m visiting and when friends and family ask where I recommend papi steak is the first on my list. This past experience was upsetting. I booked a reservation well in advance for my birthday. It was only for 4 people and when we got there we were told to wait a few minutes. As time was passing I finally got up to ask the hostess why we’re waiting 40 min when we had reservations. She said they over booked and there’s nothing she can do. The plans we had after were tarnished because we weren’t going to make that reservation on time. So it was disappointing. The night was messed up. We were dressed so nice and starving waiting so long. We get seated and there was no space to pull the chairs out of the table for us to sit. They tried sliding the table over which caused that side to be super close to the waiter station so everytime people or waiters were passing by we got knocked into (literally the whole time) we spent almost $800 and I would say for this time around was not worth it at all. If you want a good quality steak, DO NOT GO HERE. How does a steakhouse have such a limited variety of steaks of such poor quality. Limited selection, no bone in ribeye, no filet mignon. Just over priced cuts they try and push on you. Definitely not prime, but more like a grocery store steak. First time visiting this place and will not go back. Christopher took care of us and let me tell you, worst service ever, he was in a hurry the whole time, it made us really mad. Do not recommend this place at all. Very expensive and you’re expencting a better service.
