Very vegan accommodating (just ask to swap the egg from the veg roll to tomatoes or another vegetarian sausage) All their packaging is also biodegradable!

Only had a sandwich but it was excellent. Will go back to try the Goat Curry. Staff were lovely.

There weren't any marshmallows left so the lady from the cafe went & got some for my son. That's good service & the hot chocolate wasn't bad either!

Was something of a surprise to see it on the menu, but as someone who loves Caribbean food, I was delighted to see curried goat on the menu of this café. And very good it was, too.

Great place to stop at when you pass by for a cup of coffee, an other drink or someting to eat. You can sit outside or in the nicely decorated cabin. Simpel but very Cozy.

I've only had tea and cake here, but the other food looks really good. The setting can't be beat on a sunny day outside, but it's also cosy inside. Highly recommended.

Althought the chef had called in sick that day the staff were quick and offered whatever they could. The surroundings were lovely with beautiful art on the walls. Plus dog friendly is always a bonus! I dont have a dog myself but I feel they add to the comfortable aprmosphere. Would go again!

Just popped in after taking dog to vets,very pleasant place for a snack and drink. Plenty of water bowls dotted around for the dogs. Give it a try, well worth a visit.

Delicious selection of freshly cooked food served in substantial biodegradable containers. Everyone enjoyed their selection - Goat Curry, Jerk Chicken, and probably the best Breakfast Rolls ever!

Quaint little cafe in what looks to be an old cottage on the sea front. Very homely inside I felt like I was sitting in somebody's front room having my latte. Very friendly staff made me feel at home as well.

A great stop on the coast path, the hotdog was made using a good quality sausage in lovelly bun. The prawn sandwich was very tasty and we'll filled with both prawn and salad

Friendly and welcome break from a windy sea front walk. Tasty coffee and lovely bread pudding big enough for ballast to keep our feet on the ground even in a hurricane.

Lovely local cafe along side Walmer beach. Quirky and Quant excellent fresh food at very reasonable prices.Sandwiches made with thickly cut fresh bread which would be double the price in other local eateries.Try the homemade cakes espiecaly the rock cakes delicious.

The cheese sandwich was next level! Inch thick uncut bread with a scraping of butter and fat slices of delicious cheddar. I even got some slices of tomato with a pinch of salt. Lush!

Gorgeous jerk chicken with a wonderful sea view and at a very reasonable price. It will take a while for me to walk it off!

Had a great breakfast bap here. Recommended! Updated: I've since been here multiple times, usually for the Jerk Burger, which I love. Today's was the best so far, extra spicy. BEAUTIFUL!

We visited the Sea Cafe on Friday and all had a lovely meal there. They are very very good on social distancing with tables outside all a very good distance from each other and all with a large bottle of sanitiser. The food was great and very very tasty. The half pound burgers especially good. Good quality burgers & a big box of home cooked chips really hit the spot. The Breakfast roll and breakfast special were both super tasty. If you are in Walmer or Deal I can thoroughly recommend a trip to The Sea Cafe. You will not be disappointed.

We travelled 54 miles to have breakfast and a walk along the sea front, breakfast was lovely and was complimented by the friendly staff, excellent service and relaxed, beautiful surroundings and position of this cafe, thank you very much we shall return.

Delicious goat curry, very authentic. It was a sunny day so enjoyed sitting out on the benches with my dog and family. We all had different things to eat, was enjoyed by all. Very friendly service. Thank you.

Spent a Sunday morning here meeting up with family (4 kids, 2 dogs & 7 adults). Perfect location, convenient with toilets for the kids. Very helpfull plesant staff & great food & drinks. It was a lovely place to be & we all had a great time, before setting off home in different directions on 2/3/4 hour journeys.

Stopped on our walk along the seafront. Thoroughly recommend the jerk chicken burger, chips were great and great tasting coffee too. We sat outside in sunshine and service was good and friendly.

Very good coffee, food is lovely, staff are very helpful and friendly. To sit on the grass that surrounds the sea cafe is great, especially when the weather is nice. The beach is literally a few metres away. Definitely worth a visit!

Lovely breakfast today. As always. You can keep the two pieces of cake we forgot to eat. Was stuffed after the breakfast! Lol. Just tried the Jerk Chicken with rice and peas. £9. Quality chicken and everything was delicious. Shared the portion of chips with a friend. They were banging too.

Lovely cafe. Sat in the sunshine eating Victoria sandwich, rock-buns and drinking tea. Lady who served me was diligent with the sanitizer and preferred my card to cash, as do I. Lovely setting. Like it here a lot. Very reasonable price too.

It is hard to find lovely vegan food when out and about. The vegan breakfast I had here is probably the best I have had! Vegan sausage, beans, toast, tomato, mushrooms, hash brown and salad with olives! ❤️ Happy people working there and an amazing view of the sea, what more could you ask for!

We always pop in here. The Jerk Chicken is to die for. Lots of flavour, moist chicken, freshly prepared. Owners and their family are lovely, and therefore the atmosphere is great.

Very small cafe - food and drinks are very reasonably priced. Hot chocolate was really nice. Only suitable for small groups due to size. Dog friendly . We didn't eat but the food being served to other tables looked freshly cooked and ample portions.

A hidden gem I didn’t know I needed! Honestly, I don’t understand why this isn’t rated five stars. The service was fantastic—warm, welcoming, and served with a smile. The staff were incredibly accommodating, making the whole experience feel personal and relaxed. I tried the curried goat, and the flavor was out of this world—a true taste of the Caribbean, perfectly spiced and absolutely delicious. This is a beautiful, family-run establishment with so much heart. When I’m back in Deal, I’ll definitely be coming here again!

On a walk from Walmer Castle to Deal it was a perfect refreshment stop. Very good bacon sandwiches all around and good coffee and tea. There is a great menu for lunch but we were off out to dinner later. But will be back to ty the curried goat.

The jerk chicken was really good. The ham sandwich was excellent quality. Breakfast bap was quite greasy but tasty. Tables next to the bins weren't nice and maybe just a tad more effort on tables overall would be good.

Really good breakfast bap, along with a cheese and ham sandwich which was on chunky white bread with super thick ham. They need more seating out the front. We had to sit on benches on the other side and missed them calling out our number as we couldn't hear.

Superb Sunday Roast. Went back a second Sunday to make sure it wasn't just luck. Small but staff are very friendly and accommodating. I almost want to keep these roasts a secret, lots of flavour you won't want to go anywhere else again.

Absolutely banging food. Really good bit of grub in here and lovely location right by the seaside. Decent prices for what you get, only down side is the portion sizes and no tea included in set breakfast! Would definitely come again however

It's pleasant especially in the summer. We usually sit outside with our door. However dogs are welcome indoors. Reasonably priced. A cuppa is usually welcome after a stroll and it's popular.

Had a breakfast bap and a coffee. Bap was fresh cooked, hot and tasty, coffee? Meh... poor quality machine brew. Odd triple window food order/collection set up when your order is ready the staff shout at you through a tiny megaphone. What made me raise an eyebrow was the state of the hand sanitiser bottles on the tables. I've seen cleaner in a skip, you need to sanitise your hands to use the sanitiser.

I didn't dislike this place ..Ijust found it dark cramped,and tables sticky possibly with grease ( I tried to convince my self it was the product they had cleaned it with)... But the tea and toast was very nice so was the service

Slow on my visit to cook breakfast despite saying it will only be a few mins. Toast was good but bacon thin and fatty sausage good and beans ok egg was tiny. Tea a bit weak. Value for money average.

I was walking from Deal castle to Walmer & stumbled upon the sea cafe. The cafe inside is small, though seating outside. I had the small breakfast, it was satisfactory, priced at £7.50. It wasn't anything spectacular, but OK. If you strolling down the sea front, it's OK for a stop.

I found the place dirty and tbh more than than a little quirky. Food was OK and not too pricey but not sure ill be returning due to the dirty appearance

Lovely place but my low score was the value for money. The coffee was barista priced but tasted like a vending machine standard and the sandwich I ordered was expensive at £4.50 for two pieces of bread and a small filling akin to a meal deal at Sainsbury's which would have been cheaper and you'd get salad in your filling as well.

Stopped here whilst passing through, waited an eternity to be served whilst the older lady behind the counter chatted away to a couple in the corner completely ignoring me standing at the outside hatch. Coffee was vile, as if it had been standing for a long time. Had a slice of bread pudding that was just completely inedible. Over 40 years of eating bread pudding and I have never tasted anything like it. It was so stale even the seagulls appeared disappointed. I settled on a bottle of still water to take away before I left which turned out to be part of an Icelands multi-pack and cost not far short of the whole pack of 24 bottles. Not impressed.

El café estaba asqueroso, como si hubiera estado reposando mucho tiempo. Pedí una rebanada de pudín de pan que era simplemente incomible. Llevo más de 40 años comiendo pudín de pan y nunca he probado nada igual. Estaba tan rancio que hasta las gaviotas parecieron decepcionadas. Me decidí por una botella de agua sin gas para llevar antes de irme, que resultó ser parte de un multipack de Icelands y costaba casi lo mismo que el paquete completo de 24 botellas. No me impresionó.

Blink and I must have missed the quality service and food. Found the location good but, the tables and chairs grotty. Tables and inside view of the cafe looked dirty. The staff really did not win awards for customer service. Great location but, what a massively underachieving business. If it wasn't for the range of reviews I would have said that friends and family must like them. Maybe it's a bad year.
