I went to locust earlier this afternoon with a friend, we had the happy hour, the frozen drinks were amazing and the food was delicious, I got fettuccine Alfredo and my friend got chicken quesadilla, delicious! The service was top notch, our server Juanita was great! Well will definitely be back soon!

I recently visited this restaurant and I was shocked by the performance of the staff, a special thank you to Kimberly for the way she took care of us, very kind and above all very professional, the kind of welcome that all customers would like to receive. The plate was exquisite, the music coincided with the atmosphere. It was a great experience that deserves to be experienced again

We went to the locust when we first arrived in Miami and we loved it! We sat outside and our server Gisela was great! Very attentive and friendly. The food and cocktails were amazing and we were able to sit outside and vibe. Would absolutely go back!

Gisela is the best in this place, great customer service, and Leticia is smile girl, the happy hour with a great quality drinks but expensive for the food. You can pay more than $200 dlls compared with real Argentine steak house. Restrooms not good.

And the margarita was fantastic! This drink is incredibly smooth and refreshing. With each sip, I could sense the South Beach vibes. The best way to start a night out is with this drink.

Honestly I have been to a few places in Miami Beach and none had the food or hookah the way locust did. Plus we were serviced by ALFREDO & he was amazing!!! Service was amazinggggg!!! He prepared the best hookah in Miami. I have been to bay side and a few spots in Miami and I really enjoyed the hookah he made. All over 5 stars!!! Highly recommend !

Came down to Miami for my brother's bday and decided to stop in the Locust for a drink and a bite. Jeremy was the first to greet us and made us feel right at home! It was nothing but good times, music and good vibes! Thanks Jeremy!!!!

This was my first visit to the restaurant, and the food was fantastic. I ordered a seafood platter with lobster, shrimp, broccoli, and mashed potatoes. As an appetizer, I also ordered mussels and chicken wings. Everything was perfectly seasoned. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the managers, Chad, who was very attentive and helpful. I will definitely return. The atmosphere is amazing. This is a 5star dinning experience.

After walking on the street of ocean drive with my boyfriend this place caught our attention. The nice girl that was upfront Of the menu greet us and she give as good explanation about the menu and the table and she was our server very polite and very helpful that we ever have it in Miami. Her name is Milena. They are pretty presentation and a good location in front of the beach. The food was delicious and we have Churasco and the Salmon. It was very good and nice 👍🏻 we are so happy that we eat here we will come back again.

I’m a huge fan of the ocean drive restaurants, but the locust it's the best by far! The food its really good and you have a lot of options to choose, also they have a brunch menu which is very convenient!. The people are very kind. I really enjoy my lunch at the locust. My recent visit to the locust was truly a delightful experience from start to finish. The food was fabulous, ranging from the appetizer of nachos to the burgers and steaks. However, the only downside I found was the limited dessert options available on the menu. One of the highlights of our dining experience was the exceptional service provided by Paula. From the moment we arrived, she greeted us with warmth and friendliness. Not only did she provide us with excellent recommendations on food, but she also shared valuable insights about Miami. What impressed me the most was how she attentively listened to my daughter's picky eating preferences and ensured that everything on the table was prepared exactly to her liking. Paula's dedication to ensuring our satisfaction made this one of the best service experiences we have had at a casual restaurant. Our evening was truly enjoyable, and we look forward to returning before heading home and on our next visit to Miami. i visited this location a week ago and the service was awesome. I had the fried snapper it was seasoned to perfection. And the manager Chad was excellent. Definitely returning in the near future.

The music and the ocean drive view definitely made the experience top tier. The Alfredo pasta was the best I’ve had on south beach. Definitely will be doubling back we leave.

It was lunch time and we were the only ones here, so it felt a little weird with club music by ourselves, however, we got the impossible burger and it was extremely juicy and delicious, and pleasantly surprised. The wife got a daquri and it was strong and refreshing. We will need to come at night to see the atmosphere.

We visited the Locust Ocean Drive restaurant on Sunday, May 26th, around 11:30 AM for breakfast. Due to the direct sun and heat, we chose to sit inside and were seated in a corner overlooking the entire restaurant. There weren’t many people dining inside at the time. The first thing I noticed was how dirty the place was from the night before. To sit down, I had to brush strands of what looked like wig hair from the seats, which was quite off-putting. The breakfast menu was simple, and the food arrived quickly. It was hot and beautifully presented, complete with a flower on the plate. However, after serving the food, our waitress completely disappeared. We had to go to the bar for drink refills, and it wasn’t until 30 minutes after our food arrived that the server returned to check on us. A word of caution: the restaurant automatically adds a 20% service charge to your bill. You pay using a small machine at the table, which first shows your total and then asks what tip you want to leave. This additional tip is on top of the 20% service charge already included. Despite the lovely food presentation, the overall experience was marred by the lack of cleanliness and poor service.

Since it was more sort of a humid, cloudy day, we decided to sit inside and enjoy the AC. I decided to try the “Coconut Curry With Crispy Tofu” the mail itself I would guess probably a 6.5 out of 10 it lacked some flavor and the tofu wasn’t all that crispy. But the reason I’m giving you such a high reading in star value is due to the customer service that was provided and the Amazing Hookah that they had available. I Silver was super sweet and gave some pretty gray recommendations and was prompt with checking in on us, after a meal was set onto the table as well as giving me some options to try as far as hookah flavors . I feel as though if the add a little more Spice to the curry as well as a couple more seasonings, it would bring it to maybe 7 or even a 7.5 . Overall, I truly did enjoy my time as well as listening to the music that was played all throughout our time dining great vibes great energy when I come back I definitely would love to try the vegan Bolognese spaghetti.

Down town mami to ocean drive for some beach time, we wanted Cuban but was so hungry we ended up here. Now a bad thing at all, great ambiance from music to the people just partying and dancing having a damn good time. Indoor and outdoor dining available, really nice decor. Waitress took a little more time then expected to help us at first, the fact we see people seated after us get helped really irritates me. The food was good, but not amazing, drinks we’re delicious! Do not drink tap water in florida you will get sick lol, bottle or sparkling and you’ll be good. Tap water anywhere in florida from outside your home with no purification system is a RED FLAG! tacos and wings were our choice of food, loved the wings but the tacos were okay. I’d visit again.

We ate here for lunch. You should know this is a “club atmosphere” but it’s FUN! The lighting is what you would expect in a club. We nearly forgot it was daylight outside. Wait staff was a little slow but it’s just because they were short. Staff was still polite. I had the peanut butter burger which I’m not sure I’d recommend. The flavors did go together but after the first bite I couldn’t eat anymore. Not to mention…I ordered medium and it came out rare 😩. In my initial bite from the outside rim of the burger was that there was just too much peanut butter on it. Couldn’t enjoy the burger because I was too busy trying to get the peanut butter off my teeth and palate. After i shined the light from the camera when taking a picture, I realized it was rare…so I’m thinking the stickiness was a combination between the peanut butter and the uncooked meat. (That’s how dark the lighting is in the restaurant). We also had the ceviche for an appetizer which was really fresh and good. The other ladies had chicken and waffles, Buffalo chicken burger, French toast, and the croissant breakfast? They all said their dishes were good. This place is a bit pricey. I still gave this restaurant 4 stars because I believe the uncooked beef was an honest mistake. Initially the manager discounted my $22 burger by $6…. I felt that to be unreasonable and although I thought he should have removed it from my bill altogether..especially since I’d only taken ONE bite….I asked for a 50% discount which he honored. I didn’t make a fuss about total discount because I figured the restaurant may have had some financial issues if he didn’t want to discount it off my bill without me asking. It’s a tough time for everyone during this pandemic so I felt it was fair. I’d come back here again.

While on vacation with my guy friends, we stopped here to get a drink. The drinks were fairly expensive but they were good. We were pretty much in and out. The place was spacious but fairly empty. Most people were sitting outside or walking around. The weather was great.

Now onto the food, he had a chicken quesadilla and I had the Chef's homemade bolgonanese with Chicken. When it arrived, I was excited, the presentation and portion were great! When indulging, I was disappointed in the flavors. It was a little bland. My friend said his quesadilla was pretty decent. When we were leaving the music started getting better and the front part In front of the DJ had people dancing. You can be casual here and even have a date when you are in the back party area. Our service was good and I didn't have much to touch on in that aspect. I would say that I may attempt to come back to try again for Brunch. I feel like Locust is a newer establishment and has potential! Thank you for having us!

Based on my service experience, I won't be returning.

The food was good. The butter milk chock was good. The service was definetely not the best as it was terribly coordinated. We were first served with plastic knife and fork before given normal cutlery on request. The food is quite pricey in the end.

Coconut shrimp is made well But I would avoid the sauce that comes with as it’s spicy and cancels off the sweetness

The Wagyu burger and steak fries were pretty good. Overpriced but I expected it for the area. The Miami tap water is the best I have ever had. The girl who served us was very attentive. Possibly too much as my friend got annoyed lol. I didn't mind. That said, the music they were playing was very inappropriate for a restaurant. It was rap music with cursing and very sexual. Not really appropriate for a Monday at lunch time. They didn't have many patrons. I assume because of the music. We just happened to be walking by and decided to eat there. Also they charge a 20% service fee which wasn't clearly printed anywhere or mentioned to us. I didn't notice until we left. Probably wouldn't have eaten there if I had known.

The people watching was fantastic, the seats cozy and people were nice but, holy cow, the service was unbearably slow and the food- meh.

I liked the outdoor seating vibe. Friendly staff and my fish wasn't bad. Beans and rice came out cold. The drinks weren't good. For my tab, 1 fish dish for $46, 1 mimosa and 1 beer ended up being $100+ with the added service charge and normal tip. I wouldn't return because of that. That's just a lot of money for what it was and to come out cold.

Keep walking. Unfortunately stoped in for happy hour and should have kept walking. First and foremost the service is very slow, and unprofessional. Didn’t offer menus or know anything that was on the menu. Had to ask for condiments and waited a while before they were brought after the food was delivered. The sangria was good, however the food was horrible! Looked like day old food, lettuce was wilted and turning into mush.

The food and atmosphere were enjoyable, but the service was disappointingly slow. Despite ordering bottomless mimosas, our server took over 15 minutes to check on us in between mimosa orders, and the drinks were mostly orange juice. We also went the entire time without a water refill. On top of that, the bathrooms were in poor condition. For an Ocean Drive restaurant, a $160 bill for three people should come with better service and cleanliness. We ended up leaving an hour into our 2 hour brunch. We do not recommend.

Nice location. We got the extra large margarita. My husband got a cheese burger. I decided to get the rice coconut tofu curry. It was very good and flavorful. I would definitely have the food again. We had asked for the check and paid cash. We didn't receive a receipt and asked for it after the waiter came with extra cash in his hand, saying we dropped it. Keep walking. Unfortunately stoped in for happy hour and should have kept walking. First and foremost the service is very slow, and unprofessional. Didn’t offer menus or know anything that was on the menu. Had to ask for condiments and waited a while before they were brought after the food was delivered. The sangria was good, however the food was horrible! Looked like day old food, lettuce was wilted and turning into mush.

The food and atmosphere were enjoyable, but the service was disappointingly slow. Despite ordering bottomless mimosas, our server took over 15 minutes to check on us in between mimosa orders, and the drinks were mostly orange juice. We also went the entire time without a water refill. On top of that, the bathrooms were in poor condition. For an Ocean Drive restaurant, a $160 bill for three people should come with better service and cleanliness. We ended up leaving an hour into our 2 hour brunch. We do not recommend.

Nice location. We got the extra large margarita. My husband got a cheese burger. I decided to get the rice coconut tofu curry. It was very good and flavorful. I would definitely have the food again. We had asked for the check and paid cash. We didn't receive a receipt and asked for it after the waiter came with extra cash in his hand, saying we dropped it. Where to start? The croutons in the steak salad were quite stale, the steak itself was low quality and chewy. French fries are cafeteria grade and microwaved with absolutely no salt on them, or any provided. The burger was missing condiments and undercooked. The staff is inattentive and do not seem familiar with how to wait tables. Had to wait 15 minutes to pay so I could leave. I saw several orders get sent back, and one woman took a few bites and walked right out. Not sure how this place stays in business. Totally not worth the price, and if I hadn't been so hungry, I would have left and gone somewhere else.

The server was absolutely nowhere to be found after we ordered our food... I got a cheeseburger (medium) it was well done... Wife got the BLT, came, had no bacon... Took the bacon off my burger so she could have it on her sandwich. Never was asked again if I needed another drink... And had to wait 32 minutes just to get our check... Then once I got the check... I left a 10% tip due to poor service... After we walked back to hotel... Noticed we were charged a 20% service fee... For what?!? We got absolutely no service... Lol we had planned on eating here a few times during our stay since it was right next to our hotel... Definitely won't be eating here again... $73 for a BLT with no bacon($14), a burnt cheeseburger($21) and 2 Cokes($7 each) couldn't even get a refill... Worst money I've ever spent on vacation...

The service was good but I had a steak quesadilla and the steak was not seasoned at all. The most bland quesadilla I have ever had. The guacamole was literally just smashed avocado. Everyone else likes the dishes they had, but it was n the expensive side to begin with and was really expensive for something that just tasted like a flour tortilla with some cheese.

And as if that wasn’t enough, they had the audacity to add in a tip that was already included in the bill, and then asked me to pay an additional tip on top of that! I felt completely taken advantage of. Overall, I left feeling ripped off and disappointed. I will definitely NOT be returning to this place. Save your money and go somewhere else!

This is the most terrible place ive been in my entire life. I had the worst experience coming here around 12am. Didnt receive my food tell after 2hours of waiting before that he kept telling me we dont have no salmon no beef and missed up my order 3 times. The server is very high. I wont recommend this place to anyone. You will regret spending time there and the food and drinks is 0 he said we have no burger. He was serving other people burger. Its just the worst.

Horrible service. Dirty glasses and utensils. Utensils were wrapped in what seemed like toilet paper. Bathrooms were very dirty with men’s and women’s bathrooms both out of toilet paper and paper towel. Service was slow to non-existent. Lay mimosa had no sparkling wine in it. We left less than half way thru our bottomless mimosa service because it was agonizing having to wave down the waitress after she passed us a few times with empty glasses. Avoid this place at all costs.

i went there lastnight and the food quality was poor, the shots tasted like water and margarita tasted like water. I ordered six tacos and to be honest the tacos at Taco Bell is way better. when I got my bill it was over $300 with a mandatory 20% service charge. then they were also looking for a tip on top of that. Would not recommend! There were advertisements for happy hour by the entrance so we went in thinking it would be happy hour. The drinks were $19, not on happy hour, my margarita tasted like juice while my mom’s drink was overly strong. It took 30 minutes for our drinks to come out and they came out after we got our food. We had no utensils and had to wait until our food started to get cold before we could find a server to bring us some. The service was very slow and the restaurant was practically empty. We asked for our check and it took another 15 minutes for our server to bring it.

I paid a ridiculous $50 for a plate of pasta, and it was the worst pasta I’ve ever had. My friend ordered fries, and they were soggy and unappetizing. On top of that, the service was awful. The staff barely paid attention to us, and we had to wait forever just to get the check. When I told the waitress I wanted to take my leftover pasta (which I could barely eat because it was so bad), she literally threw the container in front of me, and I had to pack it myself. Absolutely unacceptable. Never coming back.

food was good and drinks were good. sandwich however was ridiculously small and $17 for a caesar salad is also absurd. we finished eating and sat for well over thirty minutes waiting for our server to come back so we could pay. he ended up coming back and we said we were all set and ready to pay. he said okay and walked away. proceeded to walk past us 10+ (mind you there was no other tables on the building) i ended up asking the bartender and she said she would talk to him. he then stood there chit chatting with her until my friend finally got up to ask to pay. should not take that long at all. unless you’re in absolutely no rush i do not recommend. they also add a service charge even if it’s only two people. very disappointed. the music was also insanely loud, you couldn’t even have a conversation two feet from each other because of how loud it was.

Food was tasteless. I got a Ceviche and honestly only had one small shrimp and like 5 small pieces of fish half avocado and the garnish then it was mostly chopped onions and jalapenos. And honestly kinda overprice for what they serve. My sister got steak tacos and the portion of meat was disappointing. Service was horrible!! The hostess actually was the best of the restaurant she was more attentive to us if we needed anything. For sure better places to eat for the price that we paid. It was $80 not worth it at all.

Terrible. They charged 26% gratuity automatic, and service was terrible. its a scam. My son ordered French toast. They brought out toast. just plain toast. nothing French about it. It was the worst food and service ever. They are banking on tourist that don't return so they don't care about food or service. We had 6 people in our party. No one had a good experience.

Sadly, we really wanted to like this place.. very cute Miami. But servers were scattered. Sent cutlery back 2x... dirty.. and payment machine didn't work. Having to wait a long.long time to pay. Apparently they had “no water”, already have included gratuity, long waiting times, bad service and drinks “only payable in cash”. After we had to leave and still didn’t receive our drinks, the server chased us down threatening us with going to the police (which was just idiotic since, again, we didn’t even receive anything so by law this is just a pure time waste). We just gave her 10 dollars so she would leave us alone. We have already reported this matter to the authorities. Straight up tourist trap, avoid at all cost.

The bathroom is dirty, the food came out lukewarm, and the server got mad because she tried to serve us food and drinks on dirty dishes. I would not recommend. Very overpriced for the food/services that are received.

Terrible service! We waited over an hour for our appetizers, and when they arrived they were missing some ingredients. All in all we spent about two hours there for some underwhelming and overpriced food. The staff were nice enough, but it didn't do much to improve our experience. Would not recommend.

I ordered a Tito's soda line it was $21 no problem with that If they should like soda I've been a bartender for 26 years I asked of a bartender Can you please tell me how much alcohol did you put in my drink? How many ounces She set a shot. I said well I see a jigger there Is it an 1 1/4... 2 oz what is it couldn't answer me really poor service walked away beautiful girl hot as all get out but never will come back again

The outside was fine, the inside was really grimy. The service was practically non-existent. It took 5 asks just to get napkins and 5 more to get plates - some of which were chipped and even then we were given 3 plates for a table of 5(?) The food was meh. Chicken wings were okay if you didn't mind waiting until they were cold to get the smallest possible ramikin of Bleu cheese for dipping. There were 4 beers on the menu and 2 in stock. I mean other than the excellent company of my friends there was nothing good about the experience.

Worst of the worst… We went there for happy hour. They were offering discounted drinks. How can I tell that they were the most horrible cocktails I’ve ever tasted ? And the price ? 30$ for 2 tasteless drinks…. Never again !

We sat down to eat on a Saturday afternoon in January. The service was terrible and the food was lukewarm. Don't waste your time going here and don't be fooled by the 'World Famous' on their neon sign.

My boyfriend and I came here recently at night and it was an unexpected disappointment. He ordered the Grilled Mahi Mahi which is supposed to come with mashed potatoes and seasoned vegetables. The waiter brings out grilled Mahi Mahi on top of FRENCH FRIES, which he didn’t ask for. My food came out 5 minutes later at least it was correct. Also the waiter sat across from us at the table on his phone.

The drinks were absolutely horrible. We ordered piña coladas and they were too strong and didn’t taste like piña coladas. Service was even worse. We asked if Apple Pay was accepted and they said yes. We ordered and when asked to pay, the owner was asking for “Cash Only” due to his discounts for happy hour. We paid Apple Pay after arguing that’s all we had but we had asked beforehand. I wouldn’t go back to this place. The only positive was the music and the fact it’s on the beach. Besides that; avoid.

What an awful place. I ordered fresh seafood pasta and the seafood seems like it's frozen. We ordered calamari for appetizers and the plate was half empty and the veggies weren't fresh. The cost of meal was over USD130 and we had to go somewhere else for dinner.

Salad and veggies were already partially composting by the time they served it. Seafood tasted frozen. Drinks were decent. Server had no interest in doing anything about the situation. McDonalds or Denny's would be a better choice, or just gas station hot dogs.

They didnt even know how to properly light my hookah. Wayyy over charged. And seriver was extremely slow. The worst restaurant I've been to in south beach hands down.
