Been going to this McDonald's for 20 +years and it's Always been busy with very long drive thru lines. With that being said they have added more order pull ups and for the amount of traffic it moves quite quickly. The food is good and consistent.

I dropped my entire order because the bag just ripped on its own in front of. Customers and a young female employee.Not only did this sweet young lady help me clean it up , she replaced my entire order. Thank you so much. What great service.

Please tell me why does this McDonald’s have the best staff? Every time I go there , I am greeted with a kind voice and a smile . I recently changed hours at work so I go for my usual around 4:30-5:00am. The young man always is so pleasant and once he hears my voice , he knows exactly what I order . The other woman at the window asked me my name a while ago and now she greets me In the morning with my name, my order and a smile . Thank you for what you al do . You do a great job and you are definitely essential to our community .

Always well staffed, vet busy location but very well managed and although the general manager is not there 24/7 he had trained his staff to act professional and responsibly with our without him looking over their shoulder. Food is fresh and well put together. Never 5 gallons of let up on a single hamburger. The staff prepares three food with good judgement and care. Very clean. Only bad thing is.. traffic... it's very congested even at 12am.Very busy place... just keep your eyes open for approaching and backing up cars. Otherwise 10 out of 10 every time! Great place!!!

The restaurant and drive thru were open during renovations. The crew members were friendly. My order was perfect, the sandwiches were hot and the french fries were fresh and crispy. The restaurant was very neat and clean. The condiment/utensil station was neat clean, and well stocked. Access on and off the highway was convenient.

I used the app for the curbside pickup function. Food was delivered to the car in minutes. The employee was kind and the food was still hot and fresh. The order was made perfectly (I had asked for a few toppings to be left off), and the food tasted great.

Very nice demeanor employees! Dining area and restrooms were very clean. The table tops are VERY CLEAN even a slightly wet Which is actually great because you know they've just been cleaned! In comparison to the taco B fast food across the road that place is A TOTAL MESS! the older black lady walking the front area of the restaurant is a sweetheart! She's VERY polite, soft spoken and helpful even came around to chat & check up on me and the other patrons. To me she has definitely made a lasting impression of this place. I enjoyed my stay & left there satisfied, thanks ✌️

My family and I were impressed with the speed and organization of this McDonald’s. They remembered to give us our entire order including the right amount of straws. Staff was friendly and kind, too.

This McDonald's is always busy due to it being just off the major highways so the food is usually hot and fresh. They are quick to serve and get you on your way. No complaints here.

I used the drive-through. There was a line, but it moved quickly. The order was correct, and the food was fresh and hot. Window attendant was polite and friendly. I noticed that the price of my order was more than last time for the same items.

A good place to eat that isn't slow. Now I had an employee who was new, but even then he got my order correct and was pleasant. Now I don't rate the food low because it was made wrong, or made me sick. I rate it wrong because at the end of the day it's fast food. Please only eat this if you need food quickly and don't have many options. McDonald's is unhealthy and will make you feel ill if you eat it everyday. Still a great business who will give you what you order if you ask for it.

ordered out from here using Uber Eats on Saturday May 25th 2024. Ordered a medium chocolate shake, and a 20 piece chicken fingers with fries meal. got my order in a timely manner and it was still hot. Very much enjoy the new look and upgrades they've made here. Much nicer and I am more likely to go inside now with the new self ordering kiosks. The only down side is they still seem to think you only need 3 packets of ketchup with 3 or more value meals and when asked for "a lot" you get 2-3 more

I thought it was a great McDonald's! Only gave it four stars, and that's only because I didn't go inside, I went through the drive-thru. It was early lunch time, the line was steady, didn't wait too long. And the employees that worked at the window were very polite. Food was hot and fresh. I would definitely go there again.

We come here regularly because it's close to home and it's a quick bite. The food comes out as expected. It's a very busy McDonald's parking lot and drive thru.

Stopped here on our drive to Manhattan. It is just off the highway. There were plenty of spaces to park. There were two lanes for the drive through. Food as you expect. The coffee was decent. The toilets were clean. The store has good WiFi internet cover. The only issue for us the exit back into the highway was a bit tricky. You have to drive across three busy lanes and take a U turn at the traffic lights and rejoin the highway. It was a good place to stop to rest your legs and get cheap fast food before you hit NYC

The McDonald’s in Middletown definitely deserves a full five stars. For a fast-food spot, this location is consistently one of the best experiences around. Every time we stop in, the service is quick, the food comes out fresh, and the staff actually seems like they care about keeping things running smoothly. You can tell they take pride in this store. The fries were hot and crispy, the burgers were put together neatly, and even the McNuggets tasted freshly cooked instead of sitting under a heat lamp. It really makes a difference when everything comes out tasting the way it’s supposed to. They also move the drive-thru line fast, which is a major win on busy days. Inside, the dining area was clean and well-kept. Tables were wiped down, trash wasn’t overflowing, and the drink station was stocked — something you don’t always see at fast-food spots during rush hours. The employees were friendly and didn’t rush us at all, even though the line behind us was growing. It’s the little things that make this location stand out, and Middletown’s McDonald’s gets those right. Whether you dine in or grab something quick on the road, it’s always reliable, fast, and surprisingly good. Definitely a solid 5-star McDonald’s.

What can you say about McDonalds. We went to drive in window. This location does not pay to portion control. Ordered large fries and got 3/4 of the box. Someone should oversee quality control.

Currently under remodel. Hard to get in & out of sometimes, due to its location. Service could be better. They usually get your order right on an average of 2 out of 10 visits. No exaggeration. Customer of 5 years, who visits an average of 3-4 times a week.

The midnight shift onthe night of August st into the 2nd was more interested is gaming then completing my order. Felt quite ride to be sitting there while they chat away. Didn't even give me a straw for my drink. Very asinine stuff to do for a paid fast food employee!

If you want a fresh sandwich one that has not been sitting then request for something not to be put on the sandwich itself then you will get a fresh sandwich if you do not question is how long has it really been sitting there by law they are supposed to allow a certain amount of time and then get rid of it sometimes I don't think they do what they are supposed to! This was take out through the drive-thru when you're on the road and miles away and go to grab the sandwich and it looks like somebody stepped on it it kind of T's you off. I really do not have the time to go back .

McDonald’s food is universal but the service at this joint will have you checking your bag - twice! They can’t seem to get the order right and routinely leave things out. It’s the usual case of kids that don’t care at the helm.

You must check your food and receipt always. My kids love their nuggets but getting the order right at this location is hit or miss. The last visit the cashier read the order out but charged us someone else's order. Stuck at the drive thru for 10 minutes so they could get it corrected and had to wait another 5 minutes at the designated wait area for the refund to my card. I gave them a higher rating because the employees and manager apologized profusely but unfortunately this is not the first time they messed up our orders.

Young adults these days need a little more customer service training. They always get something wrong in your order. I'm not sure when you had to start specifying you needed napkins and condiments, but if you don't remember to ask, you won't be able to wipe your hands and will be eating dry french fries.

I stop here numerous times. Constantly food is forgotten because they tell to move up or park in a spot 1 or 2. Today I did mobile order told to move up got my food not my McFlurry. Called when I got home told I can come back today or another day to get it. Told have a nice day and hung up. Called back to speak with a "manager" to have them just refund the oreo since I did a mobile order the "manager" said no because I have to be there in order to refund it. Very quick and again hung up on me. This location has continued get worse and worse.

Since the staff are pretty nice here, I will give it 2 stars. However they seem to have a huge problem with their soda machines. Specifically, their Diet Coke Fountain taste like berry soda. And I've let them know several times that they need to fix this problem, but it still always tastes like sugary berry soda. This is an issue for me because I am diabetic which I CANNOT have any sugar in my soda because it spikes my blood sugar levels. Also, I have another concern regarding their sanitary upkeep. The other day as I was about to walk inside the McDonald's, there was a dead mouse on the side of the door. It made me really sick so I turned right around and left.

Had to wait in drive-through line for almost an hour with still no signs of getting served. Very unprofessional service and rude employees on microphone! This place can’t even deliver service with bare minimum standards! Just surprised this place is still open for business! Don't use the app when ordering here. I use it four times and every time something went terribly wrong. Every time I would tell the app support and they did nothing. The last time I used it, I sat in the parking lot waiting a half hour to get an order, then they said they delivered it to me when they did not. I left and let them keep my $15. I tried multiple times to get a refund, but this store could not care less and the support system is even more broken than the app. It's amazing how the biggest restaurant chain has the absolute worst app by a vast margin.

The worst experience ever. The overnight manager “Chris” not only yelled racial epithets at me, but also threatened me to a fist fight. I arrive at McDonald’s to purchase my wife and I food. I am informed that it’s cash only! I ask can I come in and se the ATM? I was informed this store does not have one. I thank them and proceed to my banking institution to obtain there means of payment. I return place my order through the drive through and proceeded to the payment window. I wanted to use a coupon from the company application. I was informed that the system is down. I inquire about being able to use the coupon at a future date and was rudely told no. I asked to speak to manager and “Chris” was extremely rude when I asked can the coupon be used at a later date towards future purchases? Chris response was no and for me asking the question “now you can’t get your food either” . If this wasn’t enough. Chris starts hurling racial slurs. I explained to yet another of Chris’s colleagues that if he wanted to have a more passionate debate he could then come outside and we can have one. The managers response was priceless “ oh you bout that life then pull up” I’ve been a manger for over twenty years and have seen some reprehensible things, but this was top of the top. Being that this company is one of the global leaders in fast food to employ such a callous and malicious human being says a lot. Not only should this behavior not be tolerated but action needs to happen. I will follow this review up with phone calls and emails to the corporate office or the franchise owner. Once that is done I will follow those phone calls and emails up with letters to the Better Business Bureau the Attorney General and my local assembly man. It’s our civil responsibility to make sure such bigotry is not apart our society.

I ordered a large nugget meal (#5) got a double cheeseburger, mcchicken with a ton of mayo, and a small fry. Did they just throw random food in a bag? It was just a drive thru pickup for mobile order. The app was broken, while they tried to see what the message was in my phone I placed the order. It was wrong at the pickup when I looked at receipt. Employee decided to lock the lobby early, was picking up a dash (DD tells me lobby is open to pickup inside & hours state lobby is supposed to be open) I watched someone else walk in , a mere two minutes before I was able to & it had been locked. Ordered a large 2a thru drive thru. Didn’t receive fries so I went inside to politely ask for fries and they made such a huge deal out of it like I was trying to rip them off or something. Consistently given the wrong order or incorrectly made orders. Consistently pulled forward for single items with NO cars behind me. Rude staff. They'll purposely ring up an incorrect item and use a substitute button to up the prices on items, absolutely ridiculous, I hope this location closes soon or at least gets a complete overhaul on the staff they're the worst location I've been to in a long time.

After walking in and asking for my food to be remade the employee started arguing me that I caused it because I did not “check in”. Ordered curbside, arrived at 11.40 PM, in the app it said my order would be out in 2 to 5 minutes. By midnight no one brought the food out, so I went to the drive thru. No one could find my order and the supervisor said they never received my order. He told me to pull forward and he'd bring the order out. Another few minutes pass and he brings the bag, and half of my order is missing. Took about 45 minutes total to get my correct order. No apology or anything. Will not be eating here again.

Ordered 1 large coffee and 2 apple pie. The coffee was not decaf and had no sugar in it. Apply pie was limp and cold as hell. Not ever a room temp. It was freezing cold. And to top it all off, it took 15 minutes wait time on drive through to get this disappointing crap.

Every single time I order two sausage McMuffins with eggs for five dollars and I ordered it through the app. And every single time I have to go to the third window and wait an extra 15 minutes maybe that exaggeration but at least 8 minutes my food is all cold I’m like why couldn’t you bring it to me when it was warm, it’s only this McDonald’s too, and the lady with the green hair she is extremely snotty. I would like to share a concern regarding a recent experience I had at the drive-thru. The gentleman named William who took my order charged my card without confirming the details of my order. When I asked about this, he responded in a way that was rude and dismissive. He proceed to argue with me and tell me why am I giving him my card without confirming myself when his job it confirm the order before charging the card. Additionally, he used inappropriate language after I requested his name which I found extremely upsetting and extremely unprofessional. I believe that more professionalism and courtesy would have improved the experience. I kindly suggest McDonald's and Management that staff be provided with additional training to ensure positive interactions with customers.

Ordered through app.. my food was ready almost immediately... then I got to stare at bag on the counter for a full 5 minutes before a "MANAGER" came to help the front counter. She immediately scolded the employee, then handed at all the orders that were ready just sitting on the counter. Mine was the last to get handed out. No apology for the wait. Absolutely disgusted with the service.. my fries were freezing as expected. Even my nuggets were cold . Also, I had used a deal in the app to get an extra medium fry. I will include a picture of all the fries wasted due to horrible service because it seems a medium and small fry should have included more fries.

I honestly don’t understand how getting fast food for my two young kids is costing me over $35 at McDonald’s. They even charge for sauce now. The drive thru is always backed up, and the service feels rushed every time. Fast food is supposed to be quick and affordable, but it’s become the exact opposite. At this point, it’s not even worth it especially knowing this stuff isn’t healthy and is slowly hurting our kids in the long run. Extremely disappointed.

I ordered milkshakes and they our pink whip cream on it. I asked for the milkshakes not to have the pink whip cream. The manager tried to while the whip cream off into the garbage right in front of me. I asked if I could be given new milkshakes. She seemed annoyed and gave me new milkshakes however the cups were a little more than half way filled… I guess that was her way of getting back to me… needless to say I will not spend any more of my money there.

Now twice! Ordered a steak and egg McMuffin for delivery. Today I got a bacon and egg McMuffin. Last time it was a sausage and egg McMuffin. They cannot be discriminatory and in customer service, it just doesn't make sense. You left me sitting in the drive through while your workers didn't address me at all, and laughed and told jokes while I sat at the window waiting to pay. I had enough time to google their hours, and Google Maps said this McDonald's location is open 24 hours as well as their drive through, but they refused to let me in. A rep stated in the drive thru while I waited for manager that they are trying to help me but that was a lie as I was not in the drive through any longer and nobody said anything to me while I was there. If a manager os not working during this morning that is a problem as they shouldn't be operating business without a manager on the premises. Food tastes horrible since the McCrispy's came out and the workers @ are not cooking the food long enough! I'm taking this up the chain as far asleep I can. The troopers need more training.

Manager here is incredibly rude. I asked a simple question regarding coffee sizes. The response was, "I don't know, "Small, Medium, Large) accompanied by a look that said, What a stupid question. I cancelled my order and walked out. Learn to treat people with respect.

I’m very disappointed with this McDonald’s location. Almost every time I order, something is missing from my meal, whether it’s fries, drinks, or part of the main order. It’s frustrating to pay for food and then get home to find out items are missing. This has happened multiple times, which shows it’s not just a one-time mistake but a recurring problem with how orders are handled. The staff really need to take more care in checking and confirming bags before handing them to customers. A simple double-check would go a long way in improving the experience. At this point, I don’t feel like I can rely on this location to get my order right. make sure to double-check order before leaving.

I ordered a sweet ice T. I asked for liquid sweetner., the window clerk didn't know what it was and was upset bcz I asked for it..I hadn't noticed at first bcz I jumped back into the highway. There was real solid particles floating in the drink. I was very disappointed, this is usually a very good mcdonald's . Plus when I asked for a lemon the window cashier just closed the window after an abrupt NO!.

I have waited for over a week for the franchise owner to call me back. I am still expecting 2 refunds. One from when I received a TABLE ORDER. How someone ends up putting table order at the drive through I am not sure. See attached coffee for bill. He coffee costed $2 mine costed $5. So I had to take a $5 loss for the second time. Today, once again for the 10th time There espresso machine is broken. They have the option to turn it off on the app this way you do not drive over there for no reason. I drove over again this morning to get to the 2nd window they did not even tell me at the drive through. after waiting on the line for my espresso. They offered a refund and wanted to park me to receive that refund after I already spent 15 minutes between waiting on line and driving. I was in disbelief. I understand this is a business HOWEVER, you need customers to run a business and the loyal ones are the ones that sustain you. This owner does not care it seems. There are other McDonald’s… bring your business to another one. In Middletown they have Dolson ave. Don’t waste your time.

Unfortunately service at this location has declined in quality since my original post some time ago. Two employees looked at my receipt and took it "higher up". The resolution was a quick shout over the shoulder from a manager who said the prices have been updated. The problem is the bundles went from $3.50 to $3.99 in 4 days. The big menu board still proclaimed $3.50. I said that the big menu board still stated $3.50. Then the same guy who shot an over the shoulder response about the prices then shouted over his shoulder that the big board takes time to update! Interesting how the register can update and how the small physical board with the price and small numbers can be updated but not the big menu board. Sounds like bait and switch. I will take it up with corporate but I will not be returning.
