Amazing place, best cotoletta milanese i ever had. The risotto allo zafferano with ossobuco was simply delicious. Everything was perfect. The restaurant is very stylish and the service was really nice. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

What a unique little place! Eccentric, buzzing, unusual, with delicious food. We wanted a restaurant with some traditional local food. At first we were put off by the concept of 'boiled meat' but that was just one particular dish. We ate perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, hearty lombardian food - which is nothing like the international view of Italian food as all olive oil, tomatoes and Mediterranean herbs! A relief after the substandard tourist fare we'd had in the city centre. We ended up eating 3 courses, with wine, finishing off with a local 'amaro' digestif, just because we wanted to stay longer and make the most of it! Service is efficient and friendly. There is an extensive wine list, with some very expensive bottles on it. We just wanted something light, and I was impressed that the waiter recommended a bottle from the cheaper end, rather than trying to upsell. The place is crowded, with an idiosyncratic decor - lots of mismatched tables and weird decorative objects - we ate at an old carpenters workbench, complete with clamp! This is not an elegant fine-dining experience. It was noisy, and seems a bit ramshackle - but in fact it is run like a well oiled machine. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Milan.
What a place, so happy we found it! It was like coming home to grandmom for a homecooked meal! The service was lovely, the food was tasty and the prices are very reasonable! Definite recommendation!

As my traveling in Milano for 3 days, for me this restaurant has the most impressive food. Here you can enjoy old fashioned, traditional food of Milano, while feeling the comfort service from the owner and staffs. If you are traveling in Milano and looking for real Italian food, give it a try. For me I will surely come again if I travel to Milano again.

The Risotto alla Milanese was beautifully creamy, with saffron giving it a distinctive golden color and depth of flavor that lingered with each bite. The Ossobuco was another standout—perfectly tender, rich, and flavorful, with meat that practically melted in my mouth. And their Lesso, a classic boiled meat dish, was masterfully done, served with vibrant sauces that added just the right balance to the hearty meal. For anyone craving an authentic taste of Milanese cuisine, Non Solo Lesso is a must-visit. Every dish felt like a journey into Milan’s culinary heart, and I can’t wait to return!
A hidden gem in the quieter area of shopping district. Hearty winter food but also good for the summer. We arrived earlier than normal Italian dinner hour and the place was empty so we had a good chance to look at the mix-match decor.
This is a cozy restaurant that seems to be filled with locals on a friday night. There are 2 communal tables as well as smaller tables. The food was very traditional, slow cooked and so flavorful! The recommended wine pairing was much appreciated and the price was very fair for a multi course dinner. The saffron risotto with osso buco is not to be skipped!
A hidden gem in Milan, with cosy details design trattoria. Very tasty authentic Italian(Milanese) food. I been treated with mouth watering traditional dishes with value for money. The wine choices doesn’t disappoint either. The service is very homely classically Italian touch where you feel like part of the family (not up-selling). Overall a place where you can relax with your friends and enjoy an Italian gastronomy. Highly recommended
Tasty authentic Italian food! Another gem in Milan. You enter a fantastic place with full of details. The decor looks like your grandma’s (La Nonna) home: warm, cozy, welcoming and inviting. The big long dinner table in the middle is filled with a tasty buffet of vegetarian dishes. They are included in the price. You are already full when you eat these delicious mouthwatering fennel, cabbage, pumpkin and several other foraged greens. But you want to keep exploring! You want to try the house traditional special, mixed meat stew. And of course risotto Milanese with saffron. A house wine and Italians’ favorite sparkling water combo must be completed with a dessert and coffee. You have to make it complete. The staff is polite and professional. The owner, I believe, a gentleman of middle age walks around and checks everything without disturbing anyone. I got the recommendation from the locals so you cannot get it wrong! I highly recommend the place. A must visit restaurant you have to put on top of your list in Milan.
Friendly attentive staff and service. Excellent food and good wines. Small and cozy with very good atmosphere. Remarkably nice interior style. Well organised small menue. We came late - after 22pm - new to the place - so we let the guy who took our order - probably the chef - decide. Telling him only we wanted some starters, a main course and a bottle of white wine. We were surprised with a variation of excellent, tasty, off-the-track starters - to be exact 5 different starters - all on the meaty side - and really excellent. These were followed by the main course. I had an excellent Ossobuco Milanese and my partner had Roasted Beef Stripes on potato puree. You better are really hungry when you go there. We made the mistake to eat some fingerfood before at a different place. Really a very big mistake. We paid € 107 (of which the bottle of wine was € 30) which is totally fair for the quality of food, wine and service. We will definitely like to come again and definitely recommend this very fine restaurant to our friends and family.

A nice cozy restaurant close to Porta Venezia in one of the by lanes. The interior is quite nice and crusty giving you a feeling of a homy environment. The people serving are quite friendly and they specialise in Tuscany and piedmont cuisines also some special dishes from milan. Mostly meat dishes and very few vegetarian options. They have good collection of wine and deserts and you will definitely enjoy.

Unfortunately, very bad experience. Terrible Ossobucco. My friend and I ordered the same Ossobucco alla Milanese and both found it inedible. The risotto had far too much butter, couldn’t taste anything else and the meat was not tender. Don’t get me started on the sauce!
