Opiniones de San Lorenzo Milano
Two gentlemen served us. The service was excellent. One of our group was unwell - they ensured that they managed a taxi home for her. The food was delicious and the venue was comfortable and very well presented!
Had an amazing time here, stumbled across this place for drinks and we were so glad. The guys on the door were amazing and so friendly, Frank in particular was so lovely, even asked us what music we would like played, would highly recommend for drinks and good vibes
After ten days in Italy we had an incredible dinner with sesame seed crusted tuna steak and guacamole, a gluten free spaghetti with a ragu beef and a really fresh mix salad. The service of our waiter Nisanga was very friendly warm and professional. The ambiance is perfect because of the location and surrounding bars. I definitely recommend the place.
Lovely osteria by colonne di san lorenzo. We sat outside to enjoy the sunshine. The vitello tonnato is a must try! The ossobuco was great. We tried the Milanese saffron risotto. Keep in mind risotto has a bite here, that’s how they make it. They gifted us each a limoncello shot at the end. Would recommend!
Good location. Interesting food. Very friendly service! I was very intrigued by the notes of one of the cheeses, which smells like Chinese Baijiu. And the waitress was very nice to help and went down to the basement to get the names and the location of products for me! The restaurant faces nice roman architecture and the atmosphere looks quite fancy. I recommend!
Hands down one of the best lunches I have had in years. Could be biased by the beautiful outdoor setting - in the sun, a Tuesday in February - however the starters that we shared were exquisite and the rounding off with Tiramisu and Crème Catalan was equally lovely. Very recommendable
Loved the place. Service was amazing, professional still friendly. Food is great, pasta with cherry tomatoes and burrato cheese soooooo delicious! And they brought the bill to the table!!! Omg! P.s. Minus one star for the atmosphere as there was very loud company with small noisy kid. I never understood why people took little kids to such places...
We returned to this restaurant as we visited as a couple in February and loved it. We brought the kids with us this time to Italy, and had a day in Milan and promised the kids ‘the best lasagne’ … so the pressure was on! We had a few beers (pints of Menabrau light) and the kids had Coke Zero, and we ordered the chip-like potatoes as we weren’t going to eat until later. We wolfed those down! We sat outside and were watching the world go by, and realised we were getting very hungry, and so moved over to the outside restaurant area for the main meal. We started with a cheese and ham board to share , it came with breads and oil - all delicious, infact we had to ask the boss what one cheese was as it was so nice - it was a sheeps milks ‘Toma’ cheese that was aged in chestnut leaves. It was amazing! We wanted some wine and didn’t quite know where to begin, the very helpful owner helped us and we had a fantastic red ‘TALO San Marzano’, which was a dry and string flavoured fantastic wine. My wife and both kids ordered lasagne… and all 3 agreed - it was the best lasagne they’d ever had. (I tried it - it was tremendous!). I ordered a bolognaise (same as last time) - again - really excellent! I ordered crème Brûlée and my son ordered a kind of apple pie with ice cream - both were demolished. We loved it here, both times, and hope to return next time we are in Milan.
We had dinner here. I would give them 4.5 stars when compared to other places we have visited. The service was efficient and professional. We enjoyed having a table outside for our dinner. The veal chop "ala Milanese" looked great and tasted fresh. The prices are maybe a little on the higher side. Overall a great experience.
Tasty food and kind staff :) Located in an iconic San Lorenzo place. The service is good and the food arrived quickly. The waiter was competent. Looks like the restaurant gets busy later in the evening. The view from the windows is amazing and you will enjoy the gravity wall :) enjoyed having dinner there. It is good for small and bigger groups.
Decent food, but really could be better. Pros: 1. Milanese Risotto and veal was really well done, with an ending of bone marrow at the end. Being one of our first Milanese risotto on the trip, we found it really delicious. Also, photos on menu showed 2 portions of veal, be prepared for only 1 to arrive. 2. Octopus and hummus had great flavour but was overcooked so it became really tough to bite. 3. Had a kind waiter. Cons: 1. Probably one of the stalest bread I’ve ever eaten (cold as well). 2. The pesto pasta was so simple but still was prepared badly. The flavour of the pesto was not strong. And I definitely did not enjoy biting hardly into multiple cracked pieces of pistachio shells.
I like the place for the view and the design as it is next to a nice piece of architecture that It is a must see in Milan. We had a few drinks and a small plateau with calzones (yet now reading the reviews a realized we didn’t really need the bread but it came in handy) The staff was nice and respectful yet I give 3 stars because they calculated our receipt with 10€ more than we actually had and I realized by mistake that this was not my check so be aware of the amount you pay, check the receipt twice and enjoy your day!!
Overall, this place was not bad , but I ordered the Paccheri alla Carbonara and it was quite frankly the most disgusting dish I have ever had. I think that something used must have been rotten. This made our visit really unpleasant especially since the parmigiana appetizer and the mozzarella ravioli dishes were quite good. Really disappointing.
