Opiniones de Un posto a Milano Milano
We absolutely loved this venue—from the food court to the terrace, bar, and restaurant. We tried everything, and it was all fantastic. We found ourselves coming back almost every day during our stay in Milan.
A Taste of Italy Until Takeoff: Converted Farmhouse Near Linate We had the pleasure of stopping for lunch at this beautiful converted farmhouse just before our flight from Linate Airport back to London. Located only a convenient 20-minute drive from the airport, it was a stunning and relaxing pre-flight experience. The ambiance of the old stone building is immediately inviting, perfectly complemented by the incredible aromas wafting from the kitchen. The service and the food were truly outstanding, making this a highlight of the trip, not just a necessary stop. Outstanding, Seasonal Cuisine The core of the experience is the food philosophy. The kitchen excels at preparing traditional Italian dishes—occasionally revisited with a modern flair—all made with fresh, seasonal, and quality raw materials. For instance, we shared the delicious roasted rosemary potatoes, a perfect example of how the simple, fresh ingredients truly elevate the experience. The commitment to sourcing, including organic options where possible, adds immensely to the quality of every bite. All-Day Italian Hospitality Open from 9:00 a.m., this spot is the ideal choice for any moment. In the morning, you can enjoy a lovely breakfast or snack with a selection of delicious pastries, cakes, and desserts, paired with coffee or organic fruit juices and smoothies. For lunch, there is a strong selection of dishes prepared fresh from the kitchen. As aperitif time approaches and into the evening, the focus shifts to shared bites, including savory platters, cicchetti, pizzas, and focaccias made on the farm with organic flours. These delicious items can be perfectly paired with a draft beer, a cocktail, or a glass from their distinguished FIVI wine selection. This converted farmhouse is more than just an airport restaurant; it’s a tranquil, quality dining oasis right when you need it most.
Restaurant food and service both excellent. The Risotto and the croquettes were delicious. Easy access from Metro. Great vibe.
I recommend booking a table here in the evening for a tasty dinner in a calm and beautiful environment. The food here is 10/10, the wine list is exiting with some favorites we have tried at the wineries (from roccafiore for example), and a table outside in the garden as the sun is setting is the perfect atmosphere. The pasta is home cooked and amazing, same with the foccacia!
We ate here our first night dining in Italy and I fear we set the bar a little too high. Everything we ordered was delicious. We got a foccocia with creme and anchovy, pasta bolognese, and quail, which was very tender and well-seasoned. The restaurant is also in a beautiful courtyard with a garden surrounded by balconies and string lights. Only negative were the mosquitoes! I felt bad for the servers who must deal with customers asking them to fight the impossible all the time.... so make sure to bring some bug spray if you eat here. Overall though definitely worth it for the beautiful location and the beautiful food!
This place is a MUST. The aperitivo is the best in Milan. Great place to enjoy the landscape, people and food
I’ve only experienced the restaurant, not the hotel. I visited with friends who thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the ambiance. While the overall evening was extremely pleasant, the heat and mosquitoes did detract from the experience somewhat. The staff made an effort to keep the insects at bay using “zampironi” (mosquito coils), but given the number of bugs, a more effective solution like an electric zapper might be worth considering. That said, the food and wine were excellent—well-portioned and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, and I’ll gladly return if I get the chance.
The restaurant is extremely nice! You eat very well and have unique atmosphere. Suitable for friends gatherings, team dinners. Extremely nice location! For kids there is a changing room as well.
Great spot very green and chill. Meant to go the restaurant but had the canteen instead- yummy aperol . Sit in the garden!
Un Posto a Milano is a remarkable dining destination that perfectly blends the charm of an ancient farmhouse with the vibrancy of Milan. Nestled within the beautifully restored 17th-century Cascina Cuccagna, the restaurant offers an amazing garden that creates a serene and inviting outdoor space, ideal for enjoying meals surrounded by greenery. The ambiance is a unique mix of bourgeois and bohemian styles, combining rustic elegance with a relaxed, artistic vibe that makes every visit feel special. At the heart of the experience is the top chef Nicola Cavallaro, whose culinary vision brings together tradition and innovation. His dishes are crafted with exceptional skill, using fresh, seasonal, and often organic ingredients sourced from local small farmers, reflecting a deep respect for the land and its produce. The menu is a creative journey that balances classic Italian flavors with contemporary twists, offering a farm-to-table experience that is both authentic and exciting. Un Posto a Milano is more than just a restaurant; it’s a cultural hub where food, nature, and community come together harmoniously. Whether dining in the lush garden or inside the charming farmhouse, guests are treated to a superb gastronomic adventure in an atmosphere that is both sophisticated and welcoming. This combination of historic setting, exquisite cuisine, and a distinctive ambiance makes Un Posto a Milano a must-visit culinary gem in the city.
Un posto a Milano hotel offers a convenient location to explore Milan, making it a great choice for travelers. The rooms are kept clean, ensuring a comfortable stay. However, the air conditioning may need improvement as the room can still feel warm. It's worth noting that the private bathroom and shower, though a plus, are accessed across a social area, which could impact privacy. Overall, it's a decent option for those looking to stay in Milan with some considerations in mind. Restaurant and bakery downstairs were perfect for breakfast/lunch/dinner or some late night drinks
Just spent three weeks in Europe and this was BY FAR our favorite place to stay. It is incredibly cute, the staff was incredibly accommodating, and the cafe, food, drinks, at location were all excellent. The history of the building (built in like 1512) is also really fascinating to learn about!
We had two spritz, and they were prepared very well. The location is near the center of Milano and features a big garden, where you can enjoy some fresh air while you have your drink and food.
What an amazing place! I don't know even where to start! The rooms are cozy. The beds are incredibly comforfable. The design of the whole place is genius. The ideas and philosophy as well. The food was rich, healthy and delicious. The staff is friendly and cool. The bookstore is exquisitely curated. The customers/audience are exactly what you expect here: young, hip, artsy, intelligent, interesting, international, social. The activities they offer are broad and amazing (all for free): Whilst our stay of only one day, we experienced one little theater workshop, one woodcraft workshop for children and one really good photography exhibition with the photographer being present! I can only show huge amounts of love to this place and say: well done!
Amazing seasonal farm to table in the heart of Milan. Also fantastic service. Moved us from bar to Dinning room because we wanted to order dinner, not just apertivo. So kind with recommendations. Very affordable. I don’t understand how it isn’t rated 4.8+. Do not miss!
Venue - gorgeous old farm house that has been fantastically fitted out for use a restaurant. Food - lovely menu of well cooked, generously portioned, decent value pasta and meat/fish dishes. Service - the staff were lovely. Very attentive and our waitress done a great job of explaining the menu despite our ignorant lack of Italian. Drinks - the cocktails were tasty (and came with a great selection of bites) and the wine selection is modestly priced. Overall a very enjoyable experience.
Off the beaten path. Lovely local spot. Charming and simple decor, friendly and attentive service. They accommodated gluten free, appreciated the gluten free breadsticks. Stewed tomatoes & peppers, squash soup, vegetable pickle, tiramisu were all delicious! Defiantly Recommend! My daughter loved the ravioli, husband found it slightly fishy. Go for fresh food, prepared well in a low key pleasant atmosphere with great service!
We saw this on a tv programme and wanted to try it. Gorgeous location in the middle of a city. Only knocked a star off as the welcome was a bit lacking we were early and it would be an opportunity to offer a drink but we were asked to come back later. Found a place to sit and wait and managed to get a drink from an outdoor bar (only alcoholic drinks being served but I persuaded her to give me a glass with just tonic). The food was lovely, it maybe needed a bit more seasoning. Great selection of wines. Nice prosecco and a lovely dark rose.
This hotel/hostelling is part of a complex that also houses. Cascina Cuccagna restaurant. The whole complex is made up of a large renovated farmhouse. Un posto a milano has tried to be everything to everyone. It fails..... They hold functions and meetings there till the late hours in rooms right next door to the bedrooms. The rooms are done up in a bohemian unfinished way and occasionally bits of the plaster and ceiling fall. The original farmhouse rooms were large, and to include an ensuite, they created a large MDF Rectangular room inside the old farmhouse room. There were no plugs in the bathroom, so you couldn't wash without running the water all the time.. While in the room, one of the cupboards fell off the wall because it wasn't secured correctly, I mentioned this as it was heavy and therefore dangerous if it fell on your feet, all that was done was the doors were locked so you could open the doors and unbalance it off it's unsecured mounting which caused it to fall in the first instance. Security here is an issue. The bedroom opened up on to a common room that is accessible by the general public! If they venture in there, trying to find advertised communal toilets for the function room users. It is not locked up until the functions and restaurant have stopped. The lower accommodation door is, therefore, always left open to allow this. The windows have gaps that allow the wind to blow through. So you need an electric fire on and the noisey air-conditioning just to keep heat in the room. This makes a mockery of the so-called green ethic of the site. The check-in procedure is very curt. Even if you arrive and state that you would do, they make you wait as you have to report that you have arrived to the restaurant/bar staff who are busy running the ba. They can't let you in/check you in because they are busy. The beds are clean, but you are given a flimsy blanket for added warmth it wasn't good enough. Sadly, the accommodation side of this does not work for older people who go to bed at an earlier time. It would suit younger people who are happy to rough it and go to bed in the early hours after everything shuts down.
