Opiniones de Boo Koo Mill Valley
This super cute, fresh food eatery is directly across the street from my new office and I have been dying to try it. My waiter was friendly and there is a bar, football on the TV and appeared to be dog friendly. Will have to bring Luna next time. I ordered the tiger prawn roll & the BBQ Bao pork buns that are deconstructed into a taco. Both were excellent and fresh. Can't wait to go back and try the curry rice dish! They will definitely be seeing more of me..yum.
I greatly enjoyed my visit to this cafe. The inside seating is basic but comfortable, and clean, with plenty of room between tables. The interior decor is simple but effective. The staff were friendly and the service was fast. But it's the food that I will be coming back for. I recommend the Brussel sprouts. They were delicious. The Spicy Shrimp Pho was flavorful, if not at all spicy. The portions are large - the Pho was shared between two people. Finally the Hot Vietnamese Coffee is well worth trying.
Boo Koo is hands down our favorite restaurant in Marin. The vibe is is so fun and inviting. The menu is tasty, healthy, and fresh. The potstickers are out of this world and my kids love them! The new look is bright and refreshing. I always walk out feeling happy!
Starting with the atmosphere, the inside has a pub Cafe feel. It's small and nothing fancy. Good location with a huge tree out front providing plenty of shade and one outdoor seating table. More outdoor seating would be great. What brought me here was the vegetable curry. You could have meat or other protein added. My asian wife prepares curry often, I liked this dish very much! Thank you!
Absolutely delicious! I ordered the Boo Koo Peanut Noodles with Hoisin Pork and a side of Brussels Sprouts. The pork in the noodles was meaty and fatty and amazing! The flavor of the peanut sauce with all of the vegetables and noodles was perfect. The Brussels sprouts were very good as well. A little more done than I normally like mine cooked, but the flavors were delicious and the helping generous. Plus there is a surprise at the end; some extra veggies which have soaked up the extra sauce. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for some great Asian-fusion!
Nom nom nom! The special pumpkin soup was thick and super filling. I ate it slowly with the spring roll (they’re served with shrimp only, no beef). My friend enjoyed her pho and still took half the lunch-size bowl to go. Glad to know this spot lives up to the hype!

We walked from Muir Wood trying to get a bus back to SF, and arrived here absolutely exhausted. We thought we'd have a beer while we waited for the bus. Place was so friendly and welcoming, and everybody having a good time, we ended up having a great meal then getting a taxi!
The food was good. I had the Seoul tacos, I added a tad of rice however to take the edge off the salt in the meat and the Kimchee. Added a few sprouts too and it was delicious.

Overall A: comfortable, decorated, friendly, timely, tasty & fresh chicken pho and shrimp peanut salad that rivals our favorite SF Thai spot, Yummy Yummy. Recommend, and we shall return.
Got take out for dinner. Bahn Mi is solid and flavorful! Pot stickers are good! Didn't try the noodles and curry so can't speak to those. Fair pricing and good casual neighborhood spot in an area where other places are little more formal
Order: Boo Koo bowl, Salmon salad, Shrimp roll. Ambience is relaxed for weekday lunch, easy parking, fast kitchen and staff is responsive to our special requests for extra seasoning. Look, it’s Mill Valley…don’t expect street food from Hanoi or Chiang Rai. Most veggies are boiled/steamed instead of wok fried. Peanut sauce and dressing are underseasoned—need more ginger/lemongrass or simply fish sauce. That said, all ingredients are fresh and abundant.
I've eaten at Boo Koo so many times, I was surprised to see that I have never written a review. The food is always good and made with fresh ingredients. I love the hot edamame are delicious.
This really is such a cool little place in the heart of Mill Valley. Pretty good pho, pretty good spring rolls, excellent hard kombucha, and a really, really cool vibe. I’m sorry it took me so long to finally experience this place!
Honestly I didn't expect a place like this in lily white old Mill valley downtown. A pleasant surprise! We had a great meal. Reminds alot of place like Spice Kit and Asian Box. I had their Mint salad and my daughter had the tofu Banh Mi. The salad was very fresh good, though over dressed for my taste. The banh mi was very good. We also had the spring roll appetizer. Sadly it was exactly one spring roll. I wished they would charge a bit more and include a few more. I would go back here next time I hike on the Dipsea.
Food was really good, but a bit pricey. Parking isn't great, but that goes for anything along this stretch of town, really. Not a fault of the restaurant, but still can be a pain if you're not already walking about. Decor is nice and bright and the staff was friendly.

The waitstaff is lovely and the restaurant is beautiful but the kitchen staff needs to get it together. It took 30 mins to put up a to go order of 3 appetizers (pork buns, tuna bites, fries). My fries came without the aioli. The crackers under the tuna bites were stale while the tuna mixture itself was so salty. The meat of the pork buns was somehow dry and felt underportioned overall. It was disappointing.

We walked by Boo Koo and the smell convinced us that it was going to be amazing. When we finally sat and ordered however we were more than a bit disappointed. The food wasn't bad but I was hoping for a more authentic experience. We got the wings and although they were ok they were not 'special' not did they taste of any Asian seasoning. It came with buffalo sauce and ranch.... The pho tasted like chicken noodle and the bahn mi steak was not worth the additional 6.00 ... I will say the Arny iced tea was good but again not very Vietnamese. In summary not really worth a repeat visit.

Everything would be perfect except the recipes runout quick and the product is a bit disgusting sometimes.
Sorry this will sound harsh. Ordinarily I do not leave reviews but feel compelled to given how poor the food quality was. Ordered take out. Ordered two bento boxes. Very disappointing. Presentation was poor and the food taste was peculiar. I cannot overstate how underwhelming the food quality and presentation was.
I tried takeout from this place for the first time hoping I’d get some Thai flavors. It is absolutely disgusting. Terrible. You might be able to serve it to your seven-year-old but it’s not qualified for adult consumption. Here’s a look at overcooked store-bought spaghetti noodles looks like with pesto which they call curry and peanut sauce

The restaurant atmosphere is superb. Staff are friendly, however I will not be coming here again. Sorry, the food is not as good. I've tried so many Asian fusion cuisines. The ingredient selection does not work. Tastes like American-Vietnamese war. I am not sure if the food designer has been to Asia or have been around studying the correct medley of spices, vegetables and meat together. I feel bad coz it's in a prime location. Please re-evaluate your menu. I wish you best, Boo Koo.
