The best bahn mi ever. This is one of the few restaurants that sell grilled beef bahn mi . Absolutely delicious!!! Their tofu bahn mi is also high on my list!!! Not only does this restaurant make bahn mi, but they offer hot entrees, like noodle soup and rice dishes. The eggrolls are delicious. There is seating for about 20 people. Canned drinks and juices are available, as Are freshly made smoothies and boba tea.. Oh yeah, and the prices for the bahn mi are incredible. $6.00- $7.50 depending on what you order. Service is fast.. atmosphere - okay. More like a hole- in- the - wall restaurant, but a memorable hole- in - the- wall!!!

Enjoyed the food, cheap prices, and quick service at the counter. The atmosphere is like hole in the wall. I got a sandwich, spring rolls, side dish, and dessert for me and my young kids for $20.50. The bread isn’t super hard that it will scrape your mouth, it’s got a good crunch with a good amount of meat and veggies. They open early and close early. They are in a plaza that is janky. Cash Only. No AC so it will feel as hot as it is outside. I feel bad for the workers.

They are the only place that sells cha lua chien fried when you order. Very tasty! Accepts cash, Venmo, and Zelle. Did not see credit card option.

Dakao #1 had been my favorite banh mi spot (for my whole life, 30+ years, from SJ) but since it closed down I make the extra 15-20 minute drive to come here. The sandwiches are the best, other food is good but space is a little bit small to allow space for indoor dining. Prices are fair, great value that keeps me coming back. I wish there was actually more room for desserts and snacks (which is fairly common for banh mi shops, I would spend a lot more money here). There isn't music blasting etc which is cool but then it's almost too quiet and a little awkward sometimes if you're standing there waiting for a sandwich and there are people eating pho and watching you (bc not really a TV to watch instead lol). Service is fine and everyone I've talked to there is nice. Food is exceptional, one of my super favorites for banh mi!

I regularly am in the Milpitas/ San Jose area for work. I have driven past this restaurant many times but had never stopped by. This was very close to my hotel one day so I decided to stop by after work and let me tell you, make the stop! I was pleasantly surprised by their prices and happy hour menu for every day, 3pm-9pm. That’s unheard of! I ordered these delicious margarita flights for just $10 and perfectly flavorful queso birria tacos for just $8! The staff was quick and attentive. Everyone looked happy to be there. 10/10 for atmosphere. Added bonus for sports fans- they had tv screens where I was sitting in case you want to come and watch a game or fight. I wish there was one closer to me! Must try!

We see this restaurant really busy on a Sunday so we came on a Saturday. We had a choice of breakfast or lunch menu. We chose the lunch. My brother was craving a margarita and found a flight of 3 and chose it. The flavors were nice but he chose a regular margarita for his second drink. We usually split an appetizer but birria tacos called to us as well as a fish tacos. We were given the addicting chips and salsa while our entrees were prepared. The fish was a little dry but ahi tends to be, I added lemon and salsa so it was fine. The birria was a little oily but quite flavorful. The rice was tasty but our favorite was the corn "dessert" on the side. This is a nice restaurant which gives an old school vibe, service was nice and efficient. Probably drag in our brother-in-law next time.

A fantastic Mexican restaurant, the food and drinks were amazing, and they have a wide variety of vegetarian and vegan options available. What’s even better is that it seems like any item on the menu can be modified to be vegetarian or vegan.

This has been a local's favorite for a long time! They make some of the best sandwiches around but also some of the best rice plates and pho around! I especially like the orange rice and cubed beef i got. Well the environment around isn't the cleanest organized, and the fact that their lottery machine is the most modern equipment there... It just means that you're dealing with a vietnamese restaurant that's really good! Ordering is done through the front and you pay immediately through cash or zelle as of recent. You then just take it seat at the table and they'll find you all with friendly service!

We really enjoyed this place. Great service and food! It's obviously always busy. We sat down and the area smelled bad; the waiter was nice enough to let us move. I feel like the restaurant is fancier than some of the people that were eating here. It was like going to Denny’s. Not a good date spot, at least in my opinion. We both ordered drinks. She had the Mojito Flight. The Blackberry was excellent! I ordered the Jalapeno Cucumber Margarita, which was also excellent. The bartender was on top of their game! We also ordered the guacamole which was not made at the table as described on the menu. As far as main entrees, they were decent. I got Carne Asada and Shrimp. It was great. My favorite though was the corn bread. It was like dessert! I don’t remember what my wife ordered, but I think it was tacos. See the picture and decide. Anyway, good place and would definitely visit again.

Average Tex-Mex food. Fajitas with beef shrimp and chicken were great. The sides rice and beans were cold not good. Flan was very good. Guacamole table side too much lime it overpowered it. Good service. Okay margaritas

Overall for 18 bucks I have had way better Birria tacos, they were small and while they were tasty they were very greasy and soggy no crispness at all. As for the other meals it was typical Mexican food, my friends enjoyed their meals specially the burrito, but the food wasn’t anything special. However the service was good and the guacamole and fresh salsa was really tasty and the chips quite crisp. The service was very good, but the drinks were not that good. The margarita wasn’t very good, but they had a solid beers.

CASH ONLY. Cafeteria style with only a few tables but very nice owners and pretty good food! We had the 3ct shrimp & pork springrolls w.sweet peanut sauce, Pho #131 (eye of round steak, fat brisket & tripe) & #71 Crispy Egg Noodles w.seafood. Shrimp & pork springrolls were very fresh, tasty, and quite filling all on its own! Nice and w.the perfect amount of chew. Sorry, no pic, we were hungry and ate it before I could take a pic of it. They're in to-go containers next to the register. Pho were clean tasting, real bone broth though not as thick as Pho 54 (our favorite pho place), portion was just right, would enjoy again any time. Crispy egg noodles w.seafood, the noodles were tasty but quite greasy (very normal as they're fried), sauce was a little salty but still tasty, and the dish could use more seafood, you get about 5 shrimp, a few seafood cake balls, a few slivered rounds of squid and that's about it. The crunchy veggies were very good in and gave some much needed freshness to the dish. Their menu is extensive and they are known for their bahn mi sandwiches (who goes to Lee's Sandwiches anymore?) so we'll have to try those. Thank you to the beautiful Taiwanese girl (her first time there too!) who gave mom one of the bagged fried ice cream cone looking desserts to try when mom asked her if it was good, that was super sweet of her!!! Oh, and if by chance you play the lottery you can buy them here along w.a vending scratch off lottos as well, sort of a peculiar amenity!

Hole In the Wall Seeker

Waiters were nice, and drinks came fast from the bar. I've been to 2 other locations during happy hour and other hours. The food was not very good and lacked flavor n meat. Drinks were tasty, though, and kinda made up for it.

Went there for a lunch just because seeing the good review. Disappointed. Sandwich is not even average although it's cheap $7. Not going back for sure.
