Authentic Taiwanese food! Pleasantly surprised by how tasty all the dishes were, especially the pig feet, ground pork over rice, and beef noodle soup. Fast and friendly service, and a large free parking lot. Can’t wait to go back and try more dishes!

You need to come. You need to come. You definitely need to come! If you never had a Taiwanese cuisine before you need to come here. If you had a Taiwanese cruising and you miss it, you need to come here too.. Very authentic Taiwanese cuisine with great services. What else can you ask for more? Did I mention that they have very reasonable prices too? Just my wife and I for our first visit. Next time we will bring our entire family here.

I have been seeking some good Taiwanese food in the area and I really like this place. Am I familiar with TW food? No... but I depend on my TW friends for their opinion and they have all rated this place to be good. I give it 5 stars because you can't find Pork Hock dishes like this place does in the bay area. Highly recommend that you try it. I'm also sharing the latest full menu for you guys to check out what they serve at what price before going.

Food: Super authentic! Very recommended if you plan to try some Taiwanese cuisines. The taste and seasoning are very nice, especially the pork hock and fried rice. Absolutely will visit there again to try more! Service: very nice and welcoming. Ambience: comfortable during lunch time even if it’s a rush hour.

Good pork feet. Very garlicky braise ground pork. Oily tofu skin.

Opinion Worth a Thought

Food tasted authentic and ingredients tasted fresh. Fast and friendly service - staff responded quickly to our requests for more tea, water, utensils, etc. Our food came out within a few minutes of ordering. Overall, a great place to try different Taiwanese dishes. I'll certainly bring out of town visitors here

Came by Taiwan Cafe with a friend. I'm pretty sure I had been here more than 7-8+ years ago, so glad to know they were still up and running! There was a bit of wait. Probably waited 15-20 min before we were seated...and by that time, we were stuffed! We ordered quite a bit of food! -pork feet: really good appetizer! Cooked well -string bean: standard, didn't really stand out to me -fried intestine: my favorite of the night! Fried to perfection. Perfect amount of crisp to each bite. -oyster pancake: could have gone without. Too much batter, and there weren't too many oysters and didn't taste very fresh. -beef chow fun: ok, standard. -dessert ice: interesting texture, definitely order to try it if you haven't. Forgot what topping was inside. Big parking lot in the plaza, so shouldn't be an issue. Definitely plan to be back soon and get that fried intestine :D

Ordered basil fish slice, chicken fried rice and pig trotter. I like the chicken fried rice, it has nice fragance to it and good amount of chicken. Pig trotter is a little too cold and stiff for me and basil fish slice has way too much sodium. I find it hard to take a second piece. I've been to taiwan many times and I find the food here quite salty compared to taiwan.

筍絲好吃但份量太小Bamboo shoots are tasty but concentrated on the top layer, while the bottom has mostly pickled vegetables, making it seem like a smaller portion, can not justify the price. 牛肉麵不推Beef noodle soup tastes more like braised beef brisket with a strong pepper flavor, missing the rich, slow-cooking beef broth taste, noodles are overly tender. 筒仔米糕中規中矩Rice cake are between oily rice and regular rice cakes in texture. 炸豆腐fried tofu is delicious with garlic dipping sauce. Overall expectations were higher than anticipated, but there’s a chance we might try other dishes.

Really bad service! Avoid! We have a party of 4, there are two customer who were here first. The male server said there is a table telling us to go in, I told him the two customer came here first so he let them in. Fair. The women by the cashier (I think she is the owner) with glasses short curly hair was raining her voice saying put your name down. I said oh the men server already know we were here and have a table for us. She said put your name down (in an even higher tone) so I did. When there is a table open up for four she walked us there and I said there’s these two table available why you don’t let us sit down. She said how do we do business is not up to you to decide. I’m like ok… when we order food I pointed the menu to her and told her I want this few dishes. She said say it out loud in Chinese or English I don’t understand where are you pointing. I said I don’t know how to read these words. She rolled her eyes at me and said you were being grumpy the moment you came in. I said there is table avaible and your attitude is bad. When I’m explaining she walked away. Very RuDE! Once we sat down, SHE LET A PARTY OF 4 SIT IN THE LARGE TABLE ( see attached picture) see how bias she is?? The food, we ordered the shrimp fried rice is tasteless I think the chef forgot to put in salt. The portion is super small. The braised pork rice is ok, very oily though. The environment and atmosphere is below average, there is dried food sticking around the wall and table. Pretty dirty I would say. Will Not be back
