My favorite Mexican restaurant in Modesto! Consistent food and great service. The Diablo shrimp and fried whole fish are amazing. Must try!

Fantastic! Even though I'm at an actual restaurant I still love to order the asada tacos with everything! Onions and cilantro are so fresh! You get a big bowl of chips while you are waiting for food and there's a great selection of salsa! The asada is fire! You also have to try the Michelada with Modelo of course.

Great place to have a cold beer and catch up with good friends. Awesome chavelas and MiCheladas with beer of your choice and if you get hungry they have a nice menu from seafood to traditional mexican plates.

Really good food .. They have friendly staff. A wide variety off athenic mexican food from sea food to classic plates off good food youll find it all here. It has a nice atmosphere whether you're there for date night or family night are there with a large group they have accommodations for you

We will definitely come back next time we’re in town cause this place is FIRE! 😋I have no pics to share since I devoured my shrimp by the time I remembered lol...DELISH...and the service was awesome. Maritza was super nice and attentive to us and all the other guests.

This place is the best Mexican food in town hands down. This is NOT a regular full service restaurant, however. You walk in, order at the register and go find a seat with a number. The wonderful, hardworking FAMILY that owns the place, brings you your food. If you need anything else later you just simply walk up to counter and ask for it. People that complain this place has bad service are simply wrong. The people that work here are very kind and accommodating, but they are not just lurking around your table to refill your soda after every freaking sip. If you need something, get up off your ass and use your mouth and ask! This place is bomb. Food great. Service great. Stop being so damn entitled, Modesto. Appreciate a good local business!

Good tasting Mexican food. Service is good but slow when it comes to my order. It is my second time going in for lunch with my coworkers and my plate is the last one to come out of the kitchen. By the time my food gets to the table everyone is almost done eating. But the food is fresh and it's worth the wait.

Awesome Mexican seafood restaurant. Has all the other regular Mexican dishes as well. Recommend the pastor & asada tacos, fried telapia and chevelas. Shrimp cocktails are good not great. Taqueria style diner. Awesome seafood appetizers.

Pretty decent Mexican place. Been here twice and portions seem really good for the price! Only gotten burritos but it came with sour cream and guac and tasted pretty good! Definitely will be coming back here.

They offer outdoor dining. Good menu choices. Food was served hot and in a timely manner. The waitress was very pleasant. I recommend this place for your dining.

First time trying it and we love the food! Only 4 stars because my horchata was a bit watered down. Other then that service was great, restaurant is very clean.

This place use to be my favorite place of all times. I came for my shrimp tostada those are still as good. But it was a disappointment because they didn't have a couple of things I asked for. 🤦‍♀️ But the biggest disappointment was ..my son was craving 7 mares and whenever we came before he always has leftovers of how much the plate has. This time it was missing alot of the things it comes with. He ate it all and was still not full because the amount was so little. He was bummed. But ofcourse they charge it as if it was a huge full plate. I doubt we will be back. Food is not as good as before ...only the shrimp tostada. Lol.

I dont appreaciate those kinds of errors because I pay the full amount and I should get what I paid for at least.

I must say the michaladas were grt.,the shrimp way over cooked.some of the staff did not know wat they were doing,it was confusing all around.Portion are good size.i had shrimp veracruz.There were few items missing from the dish.i wud go back for the beer michelada for shure.The tacos we had on our tabel looked good.I try that next time.Even though the meat will be cooked way past it shud be.

My tostadas de ceviche were bland. I thought they'd be really tasty but it was just bland all around. Highlight of that plate was the avocado. Only reason I'm giving it 2 stars instead of one is because my sisters burrito de carne asada was actually pretty darn good.

Tacos & Miche's we're good but I asked for sour cream on my tacos. When she brung me my food without the sour cream, I asked for some, she got an attitude,took my plate then brung it back with a mountain of sour cream of my food. I haven't been back since.

The owner is so clown. I asked him if he was interested in some catering. Said "We will talk later" never did. He took that as a date.... and sold me mediocre food since cause I did not hire him. My cousin ordered asada. I laughed at the horribly over cooked trash he got.

This place is no bueno!! If I could give it zero stars I would. Octopus and shrimp tostadas were so bland, flavorless and colorless, not much flavor and octopus was too salty. You want good seafood, this is not the place. Horchata was watered down as another customer stated in their review. The floor was so super sticky in the booth we sat in. Just gross

Gave this place a try since it's close to home. The first time we ate there wasn't too bad so we tried it again and it was disgusting. The food tasted so bad and old that we didn't finish it... My partner and I got two different things and we both got sick from it 🤢 We will never be back... With so many other options for Mexican food in Modesto, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Have been here before and used to be good but lately the service has gotten worse and worse. This last time the guy who took my order, up and left the register in the middle of the order so that someone else had to take over it. Forgot a meal and just charged us without really going over the order. What is so difficult about communication and plain and simply taking an order? Last time dining here.

I like this place I always go for the same thing carne asada and shrimp , but this time i was not happy about my visit , gotta train your servers better I asked for double shrimp sticks they only brought me one , I was still not finished eating and she had already came up to take my plate like saying I should leave already I thought that was rude usually they wait until I leave , the place was not even busy to kick me out to soon , I was the only one eating at one table so rude !!! Can’t even leave in peace

Ordered a Carne asada burrito they messed up the order and said I ordered no asada. Why would I order Carne asada burrito w/o asada??? Needless to say I went for lunch, and now I'm still hungry and out $33. Smh. Wouldn't recommend this place.

I ordered the 7 mares it was cold and greasy had no flavor like a spicy sea soup should be like it's the broth that makes olit all come together .it should be taken off the menu plus our food ce separate so we had to wait to eat together as the plates where late .like they say you have to try it first right .well I did won't be going back there again

1 st time food was very good 2nd time we ordered again. Took 20 minutes to pick up the order excellent . When I got home fish was so dry as the Arizona desert! No tortillas . The fish was not eatable what a waste of money The fish was so hard I threw it away. we bought 2 of them they were made like 4 days ago and they just refried them and sold them. What a disappointment. Never coming back

All my food was microwaved and it was absolutely disgusting I ordered a combination fajita wich has shrimp,steak,and chicken the fajita had no flavor the steak was super tough the chicken tasted like chicken wich is absolutely disgusting and the shrimp were rubbery my rice was clumpy that means it was definitely not cooked that day and the beans were crusty even my children did not eat there food and they ordered asada tacos with fries not worth the $120 we spent
