The food here is VERY delicious and very authentic. It’s very high-quality and tasty. The Mantu, the Bolani, the daal, chicken kabob, soup , everything we had was very tasty and did not disappoint. They also make the bread themselves which is very delicious and fresh. They also make their own yogurt and sauces. Everything is made from scratch and authentic.

Delicious food and friendly staff. The mantu, Bolani and kabuli are by far the best ones I have tried and I have been to some good afghani restaurants! Will definitely be back!! My son ordered food for us today from here. We both got the chicken kabobs with the rice. It was absolutely amazing. Definitely a lot of food and really flavorful. And the people who work there were so friendly. Will definitely be coming back

My boyfriend and I just ate here for the second time. Both times have been amazing. Today we tried the mantu and the combo plate, which were both so delicious that we couldn't stop raving about it while we were eating. Everything has always been incredibly delicious and fresh. The meat is cooked perfectly, and everything has the most delicious flavors, even the rice by itself. You can tell that the cook thinks about how to make each item declious, and thinks about how they all taste together. The portions are definitely worth the price paid. This just might be my new favorite place to eat in Modesto! As a foodie/fattie, I highly recommend this place! 😋

I also liked the chopped veggies that are on the side.They are always fresh. The food tastes very authentic and the service is always impeccable. This is the best halal restaurant in modesto, two thumbs way up.

Dinner here with friends did not disappoint! Everything was so delicious and the portions were enough that we all had leftovers and got to enjoy a second meal out of it. Highly recommend!!

Food was great. We had the Combo Express. No table service, but the food we ordered at the counter was brought out to us when ready. No fountain drinks or ice water, only bottles. Looks like they do a lot of take out, but the dining room did pitch up a little bit before we left. Would definitely go back for the food.

1. The service was not only unfair but downright careless. Staff were dismissive and unprofessional, making the whole experience uncomfortable. 2. With just one fan in the entire restaurant while it was 104°F outside, the environment felt suffocating. It’s shocking that customer comfort was treated as an afterthought. 3. The staff’s behavior showed no respect for guests. Instead of hospitality, we got rudeness and neglect. 4. The heat inside was unbearable—more like sitting in a sauna than a restaurant. No proper cooling, no concern from the staff, just unacceptable conditions. 5. Overall, the experience felt like the management didn’t care about either service quality or customer well-being. Definitely not worth the visit.

Ordered two Kabuli Palaw, Chicken Kabob and 2 Gandana Bolani. Paid $96. I was over charged and i got only one Bolani and that was not Bolani Gandana. I called to address the issue, the person who answer the phone, stated that is what i ordered and they gave me two bolani Gandana.

We looked at their menu and ordered our food. Couple of issues with this restaurant: 1. Very loud and unpleasant Indian music which was annoying. 2. Very careless customer service. 3. When brought our food to the table, the staff never came by to ask if everything was ok. Very unprofessional! 4. The food portion was very small compared to other restaurants. Sala was full of onions. 5. Taste was not that great at all. 6. Hospitality is zero. This place needs to learn how to take care of it customers. Never recommend this place to anyone.
