As a commuter from the nearby foothill regions, it is my pleasure to discover gems like this restaurant while working in Modesto. From the moment you walk in, the staff make you feel welcome. Their timing while letting you peruse the menu is impeccable, for as soon as I decide which of the delicious sounding entrees I'm going to partake in, they are ready to get my order. I've been here five times, and on my way to the sixth as we speak. Everything here is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the environment is clean. I'd recommend 11/10 times if I could. These folks deserve your money.

I have been going to Thai House for years. The food is excellent and so flavorful. By far the best Thai food in the area and reminds me of the best dishes I had in South East Asia. The family that own and runs it feel like family - excellent service. Even 10 years later they keep coming up with new, amazing food for me to try. 100% my go to place in Modesto!

Thai House is the absolute BEST Thai food in this area! I live in Manteca and am happy to make the trip when I want my beloved Thai food and it never disappoints!! Everything I have tried has been the best, from Tom Kha, to Pad Thai (they make a vegan version just for me and it's amazing!) To fresh Spring Rolls! Our server has the best memory, she has memorized my and my friends/family's orders, so she knows what we want as soon as we show up. I can't say enough good things about this fine restaurant, but do your tummy a favor and go try it yourself!

The staff is super friendly and polite. The restaurant is large and tables are spaced throughout. The waitress always remembers the food we order each time we. We always order the fried rice with chicken, pineapple and cashews. My hubby gets the beef, mushroom and ginger in coconut milk its yummy. Our favorite Thai restaurant! So many choices and options, even vegetarian options - and then there's the "hot plate" to kick it up a notch!

We have eaten at Thai House several times and each time we were completely satisfied with not only the food, but the service as well. The employees are friendly and the food is delivered fast each time we eat there. I assigned a 5 Star rating because of these reasons and they have earned it. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated as well.

Love all the dishes, pad Thai, bbq pork, yellow curry chicken & potato with garlic rice. Staff is very friendly and will banter with you in a positive way. Personal touch is they remover you as a customer.

This our favorite place to get Thai in Modesto. The owners are super sweet and know us by name whether we come in person or over the phone. I've never had a single issue here, they've never forgotten anything, nothing has ever been cooked poorly. It's definitely worth a visit.

This place has the best Thai food, and also with their iced Thai coffee, but the best part is their servers made me feel like I'm at home. Their servers talk to you like you are family, and I saw they even remember their regulars. I'm definitely coming back again!

This place was amazing! This was the first time I've eaten in the restaurant and I have to say the food is phenomenal. The waitress who helped us explained the menu in detail with vivid descriptions. It was so delicious, I ate every bite of it and even ordered an extra plate to go! The garlic rice is to die for, every bite is worth savoring. The green curry was tremendously delicious, I could taste every flavor before the kick of the spice shown it's spark. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves Thai food or is curious of what it is.

Well, it looks like I am slipping since I don't see that I've reviewed Thai House but have been a customer for about 10 years. I have eaten in but generally get my standard take-out of the Chicken Satay with extra peanut sauce and Spring Rolls. It is also one of my oldest's favorite places as well, but more for dine in. Family-owned, they have worked hard to please their guests with a wide range of menu items from mild to very spicy. Julia chose our menu since she was more familiar with their food and my tastes so she added the Chicken Yellow Curry, BBQ Pork and Mango and Rice dessert to round out things. Each dish was plenty to share and was a visual treat as well as making our taste buds happy. We each had leftovers to take home with us.

Best Thai food in the whole Modesto area, hands down. They make real authentic Thai food that's delicious, not the American Thai-style stuff that's lost its roots; you can taste the difference. Great option for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free people as well; although, do keep in mind here they consider fish sauce vegetarian; some people do, some don't. So if that is important to you then order vegan, still great. Lovely people too!

I love Thai food as you will probably see from my reviews. This place is no exception. Super friendly people run this place and the daughter knows her Thai food! I asked for something on the menu and got the full download on several dishes. Great place to stop by in Modesto to get some tasty grub! Eat your veggies people, your feed tube and meat body will treat you well!

I can't say enough good things about this place. They make us feel like family. We've eaten at some really good Thai restaurants throughout California and this place beats all of them. It is the best Thai food around. We eat there a lot and communication is never an issue so they rarely, if ever, get anything wrong. They are very accommodating to your preferences if you can't have certain ingredients. I love the fact that they usually remember my preferences better than I do. So when I forget to say "no onion", they'll ask if I want them. Their food and their service is GREAT! If you like Thai food, you have to give them a try!

By far my favorite restaurant. Not very many authentic Thai/Laos restaurants in the valley! Their flavors bring me back to my childhood and Thailand! One day they were getting ready to close to get things ready for dinner and they let my daughter and I come in to dine anyways! Amazing customer service to go with their amazing dishes!

The curry fried rice is gorgeous. The tofu satay is delightful. The meat eaters are equally pleased with the chicken satay. The curries are wonderful. We always look forward to special occasion excuses to go to Thai House.

Spice levels were accurate; medium had a nice kick, but not too fiery, just as the waitress said it would be. The only negative was that rice was extra. As a seasoned Thai food eater, this place is recommended.

It was a a Saturday and the employees were very busy but that didn't stop them from being friendly and attentive. I didnt eat their food (I was picking up food for a friend) it smelled delicious and again they were very busy, so it has to be good. Know that I will be picking up food from there very soon since I know their customet service is on point,, to be continued...

I’ve tried both their Thai iced tea and iced coffee — both delicious as well. Opt for the iced coffee if you need something stronger/bolder. The ladies who work there are always pleasant and fast. It’s quite humorous how they remember my friends’ and my orders.

I used to enjoy dining at Thai House because the food is great, but my recent experience with the owner has completely turned me away. My boyfriend, who has cheated on me in the past multiple times, went to eat there, and he claims the owner made an unprofessional comment about seeing me with other people. He also claims She even asked him if we were in an open relationship. If this is true, the level of intrusion is shocking and completely inappropriate. As a professional, it wouldn’t be her place to comment on or involve herself in the personal lives of her customers. She doesn’t know what I’ve been through or the circumstances of my life. I don’t understand why he would randomly make this up. Because of this behavior, I can no longer support this business. It’s unfortunate, as the food is good, but professionalism and respect matter just as much as the quality of the meals.
