Came to enjoy the Super Bowl game… food was great as always. We have never had something that was not good. It was a vibe for the big game. We had the best server today - Kennedy R. She was very attentive and helpful. Made really good suggestions. Make sure you come and ask for a table with Kennedy. She’s awesome 👏🏼
We were near by for a basketball tournament and have always passed by this place and decided to try it out during the game break. Our server was Evan and he was exceptionally amazing. I had the cowboy steak and my husband had the Swiss mushroom truffle burger both were amazing! The atmosphere and decor were very welcoming, allowing for a very great dining experience. Cactus Jack’s absolutely delivered for our whole family. We started with the spinach dip, which was creamy, rich, and full of flavor. It came with both tortilla chips and a softer pita chip, which was a great touch and paired perfectly with the dip. Cocktails were outstanding. I had the Honky Tonk in Heaven, their signature spicy margarita, and my wife had the Baby Blue martini. The Honky Tonk in Heaven had the perfect balance of sweet, salty, and heat, with a generous amount of salt and Tajín lining the glass—a really nice touch that took it to the next level. The Baby Blue martini was crisp, refreshing, and made to perfection. Easily some of the best cocktails we’ve had in a while. For food, I ordered the chicken fresca with blue corn tortillas and cowboy beans. The chicken was incredibly flavorful—honestly some of the best I’ve had—and the scratch-made blue corn tortillas added a unique and delicious twist. My wife had the Shroom & Swiss Truffle Melt, featuring a juicy beef patty with Swiss cheese, garlic mushrooms, truffle aioli, and arugula on toasted brioche. It was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The kids had pepperoni pizza along with chicken nuggets and fries, and they wasted no time cleaning their plates. One of the biggest wins for us was the playground. It’s fully fenced, felt very safe, and gave the kids a great place to play while we relaxed. Service was on point—our server Casey was fantastic, with refills and requests handled quickly and attentively. We also noticed they have a fantastic bourbon selection, which I’ll definitely be exploring next time. Great food, great drinks, family-friendly atmosphere, and top-notch service. We’ll absolutely be back.

I have been here many times and each time surprises more and more, excellent atmosphere, drinks, food and even the bands that go are great! The service is impeccable to where i personally think that no other restaurant in Mont Belvieu or Baytown compares, especially from the server that i have had a couple of times by the name of Steph, shes great at what she does, apart from humorous she is always on it whether you need a refill or anything you may need. She seems to really enjoy her job and genuinely cares for her guest!
The salad bar is awesome. A handful of the entrees come with the salad bar and you can fill up on the salad bar and take the entree home. The staff is super friendly. Save room for dessert. The Matilda cake is essentially that chocolate cake your grandma made for funerals and church pot lucks. It's delicious. And massive.
LOVED this place, & we went on a night where no big game on & no band, i can only imagine how great that would be! Our waitress Alisa was very knowledgeable & happy & enjoyed her job & that is great to see! Can't wait to go back, too bad we live 70 miles away!

We’ve driven past this place a few times heading to Galveston. We’ve finally had the opportunity to try it out! The service was fast and friendly. The food was super delicious, fresh salad bar, and the steak was like butter! The hospitality and vibes from Papi were amazing! Would definitely recommend! The only regret I have is not wearing my cowgirl boots!
Frst time visiting Cactus Jacks and was totally impressed! To begin with there is plenty of parking and plenty of seating! The food was wonderful and served in a timely manner! There are plenty of food choices to please everyone; even a large salad bar to build your own! Our waiter Hayden R was exceptional! It was our first time to visir and he took the time to explain the menu choices, etc.! I would definitely visit again and totally recommend this place to others!

Another aspect that made our time at Cactus Jack's amazing was our server Kayrique. His energy, friendliness, and professionalism took the experience to another level. He was attentive, always had a smile, and made sure we had everything we needed before we even had to ask. It's rare to find service that feels this genuine and effortless. Overall, Cactus Jack's deserves a full 10/10. Incredible food, great vibes, and top tier service, especially from Kayrique. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to everyone I know!

Our waitress was so sweet. The food was GREAT & we were very pleased with everything! I had the Spinach Artichoke Dip with Flour Tortilla Chips. The servings were so big that was all I ordered. Oh, & a salad. That filled me up! In addition to what I had Henry had Chicken Parmessan! That Chicken Breast was so big & plump it looked more like a turkey breast! SERIOUSLY, it was HUGE! BUT, it was juicy & DELICIOUS! Final Analysis: WE'LL BE BACK, CACTUS 🌵 JACK!
Went here this past Saturday and I have no complaints! Everything was amazing! Down to the fry seasonings, the Mac n cheese! Can’t wait to try more things on the menu! Our waitress was so easy to talk to, explained the menu, and checked on us every chance she had to make sure we didn’t have to ask for stuff!

The food was amazing but the service was a little slow. The atmosphere while fun and exciting was a lil noisy for a week night with all the birthday celebrations that happened… I stopped counting at 5. But I would def recommend the Bloody Mary, tuna tower, and the stuffed trout. All amazing!
Writing this review a little late but Sunday August 3rd we had a large party of 30 for my nephews birthday after we recommended it to our family because our kiddos enjoy coming here. It was a first for everyone else. Our experience was absolutely wonderful! I cannot give them enough praise! Our waitresses Ashton and Austin were complete angels! ❤️ The never missed a beat! Everyone received their order and correctly which is absolutely outstanding considering the size of our party! Everything was quick and timely, our drinks were never empty because they were already bringing out refills and ice to make sure we were staying cool. Plenty of space for us to all celebrate comfortably and enjoy the lively atmosphere of the establishment. Food was delicious all around from the spinach dip to the plate I ordered, everyone around me was all smiles! I’m sure many of the guests will be turning soon!

My husband and I stopped for dinner on the way home to Louisiana from Houston. There a long line of parties outside so we were anticipating a wait but we got seated immediately! Hostesses were friendly & chatty, restrooms were clean, salad bar was phenomenal, server was attentive, live music was a plus, food wasn’t bad! The mozzarella sticks were SO good & crispy, my husband enjoyed his gumbo, my sirloin was very tender and cooked to perfection just a bit salty for my personal liking.

For dinner, I ordered the bowl of chicken and sausage gumbo—it was huge and packed with flavor. A really sweet touch was when the staff came out to sing Happy Birthday to me. Between that, the upbeat atmosphere, and the live music, it made for a fun and memorable night. We’ll definitely go back!

Was very disappointed with this location after seeing all the great reviews we decided to check it out since we were in the area. To start off we were seated tightly between tables and a corner wall at an edge where all the servers gather to talk and stand. We then waited about 15 minutes for someone to attend to us after being seated seeing all the waiters and waitresses looking at us and gathering behind us to chit chat as we waited. Our food wasn't great for the price we payed for $60 for mac & cheese brisket sausage sandwich. Only 4 pieces of mac and cheese that slides off when you hold the sandwich and the beans side seemed more like soup with little to no beans in the bowl. The potatoe salad lacked something to be missed and the brisket was pretty okay and the coke was lacking in syrup flavor. Overall we left disappointed and won't be back.

This was our second visit, and unfortunately it will be our last. Both experiences were disappointing. We went on a Sunday afternoon around 3 PM. There were three of us, and we were seated at a table for eight. We would have gladly waited for a properly sized table, but that wasn’t offered. Service was very slow from the start. We waited quite a while for drinks and never received silverware. I even went to the salad bar and came back — still no silverware. I understand restaurants get busy, but those are simple details that shouldn’t be missed. I ordered the chicken fried steak, which should be a Texas staple done right. It was one of the worst I’ve had. The breading fell completely off, there was little to no seasoning, the green beans were mushy, the mashed potatoes came out without gravy, and the advertised dinner roll never arrived. My wife’s hamburger was heavily over-salted, and her truffle fries tasted like frozen fries soaked in oil. My mother-in-law had the enchiladas. She said they weren’t terrible, but they were over-seasoned as well. Sadly, the best part of the meal was the salad bar. After two poor experiences, we won’t be returning.
