Opiniones de East Village Cafe Monterey
Very cute cafe in the heart of downtown. Service is friendly, coffee and food are great. Process are reasonable. We had the lady finger latte, flat white, a slice of the spinach mushroom quiche and morning glory cake.
Such a beautiful spot to have a coffee, then a peaceful walk down to the warf. Had very pleasant experience service wise that I would definitely recommend stopping by before you think of going to starbucks. Got an iced latte and it was delicious! The seating area is also very nice from outside seating to sitting with plants in doors.
This location provides a warm and inviting ambiance, spacious rooms, and ample privacy. Their menu caters to vegetarian dietary needs. The owner prioritizes community interests, fostering a sense of warmth and welcome. The decor is thought-provoking and enhances the overall atmosphere. This cafe is something you can Call your to go place and hangout everyday. Very humble owner and the workers. Owner actually care for the community. We had one of the best chai and banana cake here. Go sit there enjoy the positive vibe write your biography with sip of hot chai everyday.
The chai was great; but what’s better was the little world-collection store the owner has next door. There were the most beautiful handmade cards from Nepal; the paper itself was handmade. Throughout the store you can feel the owner’s passion. The incense sold here is also unique and I’ve never encountered scents like these.
The cafe is gorgeous! It's got Tibetan vibes and they have a small shop within the cafe itself where they are selling masks, wall hangings, soaps, mirrors and dream catchers. It's a small cafe where they mainly serve different types of coffee and small bites. The coffee portion is good, I had the mocha. The staff is friendly, my overall experience here was good. I would love to visit here again!
Stopped in for a yummy iced mocha at East Village Cafe in Monterey! Beautiful interior design celebrating its Turkish culture. Lots of indoor and outdoor dog friendly seating. Very friendly and quick staff. Recommend!
Excellent place to have yummy food and the best coffee! Such a warm vibe, love the decor. It's so inviting I moved twice while there so enjoy all the nooks! Mushroom spinach quiche was delectable!
Stop here earlier with a friend and if I could give more stars I would!!! The atmosphere when you walk in is so welcoming! The decor is beautiful. Also the employees were friendly and made recommendations. I got a Sugar free vanilla latte made with oat milk and a spinach and mushroom quiche. Both were AMAZING!!! I will definitely be stopping here more often ☺️
Gorgeous place. We found this place at one of our Monterey trip. Loved my delicious lavender vanilla oatmilk latte. Amazing coffee house with lots of space and good energy entice me to return!
This place is a lot bigger than it looks outside. I’m not sure what time of coffee they use but I really enjoyed & savored my medium roast coffee. The mini quiche were a nice treat. There is a lot of seating
Such a cool, quaint coffee shop with chill vibes, great decor, and organic coffee and tea drinks. Plenty of rooms and nooks for sitting inside or out, to chat with friends or hang out to work. Excellent location in downtown Monterey too.

Free- spirited, Cozy and artistic! Visited for chai, and it was really good. The flavor was rich and authentic.
The quiche is amazing!!! You have to have it! Cappuccino and iced latte were also solid. Orange cranberry scone and energy ball were also good. Eclectic vibes, came here with our 15mo daughter and everyone was very kind to her. One down side worth noting is there was no changing table in the bathroom in case you stop in here with your baby. But we would come here again for sure!
Super delicious pastries. I’m pretty fussy about my croissants and their almond croissant definitely delivered! Also loved their energy balls, crumb cake and spinach and mushroom quiche! Coffee was delicious too!!
My favorite coffee spot in town. Great location, amazing service, and even better coffee. If you’re not a coffee drinker, that’s ok! They have a plethora of tea options. Time to time I’ve also grabbed a scone or pastry, also highly recommend ;)
Great coffee and excellent cafe food. The almond croissant was surprising as it was a regular croissant, sliced and then the almond paste was spread on. Very good and almond paste in every bite. The family also had spinach tomato quiche and veggie samosas, which were all very tasty. Definitely recommend!

Had some amazing coffee and quiche here! The place was also very quiet and serene, we went early morning at 8. Highly recommend the tomato and feta quiche.
Such a chill place that we stumbled upon our recent stop in Monterey. The decor is vibrant, the baristas and staff are so friendly. We tried 2 quiches and while they were good I wish it was fresher and the crust was crispier. The honey lavender coffee was absolutely delish! Come enjoy some delish coffee, walk around and enjoy some people watching.
Such a cute and cozy space! Not many vegan options but do have alternative milks for your drinks. Sadly no WiFi and my chai latte was quite diluted. Staff is warm and friendly <3

Wasn’t what I expected based off reviews. Nothing I tried was bad, but not to my liking either. Same with my whole group it just fell flat. Always happy to try something new, maybe your experience or tastes buds will enjoy it more.
I wanted to like this place and had high hopes but unfortunately it fell short. The coffee was fine, the food was okay (the burrito wasn’t the best, but the quiche was pretty good!) the staff was kind but the atmosphere was weird and un appealing. The pictures show it, but we sat next to like a giant pile of old boxes full of random stuff. It seemed a little dirty too. Things just get really out of place here. I’ll be back to try again for a redemption review.

The coffee machine wasn’t working, so I grabbed a drip coffee instead. It was simple and reliable—just enough to keep me going through the day. The ice mochi, though? Really tasty and definitely a highlight!
Drinks were good. Quiche wasn’t great & and instead of giving me a regular peice of morning glory loaf I received 2 dry ENDS of the loaf… there were PLENTY of belly pieces and moist pieces. It felt intentional and I won’t be back.
