Went to visit friends and decided to try out this place. The riverside has indoor and outdoor eating along with a fire pit and a river next to it the inside has a bar on one side and family dining on the other. It wasn'tloud and you could have a normal conversation, the food was excellent and we were able to substitute items or told them about food allergies we had so they made possible for us to eat there and the waitress was kind, helpful and didn't over bother you while you were eating. I will definitely be going back there again and i would like to thank them for a great meal and dining out experience . The only thing i would change is maybe adding a family restroom for people with helping others with disabilities and the parking lot have more of a in out one way sign. 🍁 as always i tell the truth and i hope you will follow me and see other places i did a review on. 1st time eating here. Tried the smelt. It was good. Preferred the calamari more. Tenderloin was big enough for us to share. It was tender, juicy and had just the right amount of seasonings on it.

Good drinks for great prices. The Bacardi mixed drinks I ordered were $4 each. Very scenic location with a great patio right on the river.

Great food! The country fried steak with real mashed potatoes was delicious! Great drinks. Bellows in the well. Great tap selection. Yuengling on tap! Great atmosphere with very friendly service. You won't regret stopping by!

I was initially disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I didn’t realize it was strictly 18+, which was unexpected. Once seated, things didn’t get off to a great start. A young waitress seated us at a table, only for an older waitress to come over and ask us to move because the table was “reserved.” I was unaware that this restaurant operated with reservations, and the miscommunication was frustrating. However, things turned around when Britney, our waitress with the beautiful eyelashes, stepped in. She was kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful, making the rest of our visit much more enjoyable. Her positive energy and professionalism truly saved the experience for us. Britney deserves a raise for the excellent service she provided!

Loved the atmosphere here! Must be 18 to enter. Food was delicious. Ordered the cheese burger medium, but it was well done. Didn’t mind because it still tasted good. Fries were spot on. Wife had the tenderloin. Huge! Very meaty and tasty. They had live entertainment outside and the view was awesome.

The atmosphere in this place is absolutely amazing! The view of the waterfront from the back side is absolutely breathtaking, and I would highly recommend this to any tourists passing through, looking to take in some of Monticello, Indiana's local natural beauty, and friendly locals, in a beautiful & quiet setting.

Very expensive for what we got. Perch was tough, no lemon, or tartar....cool not hot or juicy. Bourbon glazed shrimp, with rice, sauce was good, 5 shrimp overcooked, tough, rice hard and cool. Very disappointed for $30 shrimp dish and $25 fish. We had always loved it in the pass. Hadn't been here in a couple years. Drinks and atmosphere great....but won't be back for food.

We were kicked out from our table on the patio while waiting on our desert in favor of a large party that came in. We had bought appetizers, dinner, and just had ordered desert. The food was good. It’s too bad the management spoiled the experience.
