Cracking Crab

It is under new management which means that it now has dance club music blasting, but this should not deter anyone, if it does. The food is great! The clam chowder soup is the best the city has to offer. The service is always attentive and quick. It is a great restaurant that must be visited by all!

Although my main server was excellent , Ava was also a fast and friendly server! Everything was delicious and fresh! I did not wait very long for service and for my food. Had the snow crab legs with cracking seasoning, corn, and asked for rice later. Will be coming back for sure!

We had such a great experience. I ordered a dish that had too much garlic and sauce for my liking but they were able to replace it with something else- no questions asked. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. Her upbeat personality made the mood much happier. The food was delicious and plenty, as you can see. :) We will definitely be returning. Thank you for the awesome service.

Food is actually better here than at those overcrowded spots. Super easy parking.. located in a upscale, beautiful area. Had the hostess bring us a couple of beers upon being seated. Strongly recommend coming, worth the extra drive time. Staff is all amazing!!!

Combo 3 is with either crab or lobster and with either shrimp, crawfish, mussels or clams. Both came with sausage, potatoes and corn. Our server is very nice. I like this place better than Boiling Crab where BC is always busy and usually, cuatomers are rushed out since people are waiting outside. Food are comparable and actually I like it better here because the sauce is not as salty as BC.. I would definitely come back to this place.

This place is great. Great food, great service, and a great location. The shell fish was fresh and flavorful. The dining experience is fun and well done. If you like garlic then you will enjoy the garlic butter option. The clam chowder was divine and the Mac and cheese was excellent. My whole family enjoyed the experience.

This is almost like Boiling crab, but the spices are less irritating.

My wife suggested the Cracking Crab in Glendale California to eat at for my birthday dinner. I enjoyed the experience it was very interesting to crack the lobster and peel the shrimp. I recommend if you like seafood to come and enjoy the food and atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and are attentive to your needs as a customer. Thank you for the great service

Good atmosphere and great wait staff. I had the Crackin' Frutti de Mare which was excellent but my wife got the fish and chips and they did not live up to the rest of the food coming out of the kitchen. I was recommend this place but stay away from the fish and chips. They were greasy and thin. Imagine grocery store boxed fish.

Good food and friendly service! If you don't mind getting your hands dirty and having fun with friends and family this place is great for big group dining.

Food was good, portions were reasonable, waitress was fantastic. The cost of the crab legs/lobster seemed pretty high as I was in Alaska not long ago. $10 for a whole king crab right off the boat. $75 a pound for crab legs? Really???? $40 a half pound for Crab?

Fried pickles were great. We added coleslaw and combo #2 with Dungeness crab and black mussels, more than enough for 2 people...we couldn't finish. We tried though. Good food, great service.

Food is great. Specially the king crab legs. Didn't like the fact that they brought the trash out through the restaurant as people (particularly us) were eating. They might want to do that at the end of the day and not at 6 pm. They don't take pre-paid visa cards at full value FYI because they are concerned about their tips or something. First time I experienced that.

The food was good, we had a combo dinner that included some fish and a lobster with potatoes and sausages. We also ordered the wings. The seafood was great and very tasty, on the other hand the wings were a bit over seasoned and it actually took away from the chicken. But other than that it was great.

Served us lukewarm food. The only thing that was hot was the lobster. It was also in a vat of butter 2 inches deep. They did reheat the rest of our dish, but we were thoroughly disappointed. The waitress was very accommodating, but the food did not live up to its name. The next day I did experience an upset stomach, probably from all the putter used.

The service was great as well as the fried shrimp, however, I didn't enjoy paying $6.00 for chopped romaine lettuce with tiny croutons with dressing on a flimsy paper plate. My spouse ordered the grilled garlic shrimp and noodles and that was basically what he got. He didn't enjoy it. I understand the disposable eatery but with what they maybe saving in washing dishes, they could invest in better plates at Costco and throw some cherry tomatoes, onions and cucumber slices in the salad as well as some type of vegetables in the noodles.

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Food was prepared well, but not great flavors and not very healthy in my opinion. Crab legs were fine, but I think the menu needs a rewrite.

The first time I came here about 3 years ago was SO AMAZING. The best seafood with lots of flavor and an AMAZING price. The last few times I came here the price was raised, the flavor was poor, and the menu items were changed. The service has gotten worse with time too. I am disappointed with them right now.

Service was decent, at best. Garlic fries were okay. Ordered the king crab legs, which were okay. Doesn't come close to the Hot-n-Juicy king crab legs. They even charge for ranch!

Unfortunately the food was not good. The king crab was flavorless even with the sauces. The shrimp was dry and sausage was not good, felt wet and had no taste. Probably the worst crab place I've been too. Only good item was the grilled cheese sandwich.

We ate here because the lines were too long every where else and were drawn in by the cheap pitcher special. While the beer was good (and cheap) the service and food left a lot to be desired. It was similar to the kind of cheap quality deep fried food you'd find at a crappy sports bar. The fish was not impressive, the sides were bland, and the value was poor. Even the atmosphere was off here.

Ehh. Was here visiting friends who hadn't tried this place so we did. There was only us and another table. The service was VERY, very slow and for no reason that we could see. When we finally got our drinks they were good. I chose a side salad with my meal and sadly it was dumped on my hot food plate with the teriyaki sauce I didn't think that was good tasting

Not impressed! I've been here twice and both times I have left feeling the same way about my experience. Mediocre food and way overpriced for what you get... It's messy and I hate having to shell my food. You lose half of it in the process.

DO NOT GO HERE! Got the cracking combo last night. The crawfish definitely tasted off. Didn't finish the meal. Now I have been puking all day. Called the restaurant to ask for a refund, they hung up on me. So.... Safe to say that I will not coming back. Dine at your own risk.

This place is ok, but nothing to write home about. The food is overpriced (on the night we went they listed market price for dungeness crab at $20.95!). The 'Cajun' seasoning wasn't spiced at all, and tasted like sugar more than anything else, and it was excessively oily... $6.95 for draft beer... I won't be going back any time soon...
