Great view of the aqueduct and the Tarascas statues. Good service and very attentive. The hamburgers are delicious. Just be quick when asking for the bill because the tip is already included; if you forget, you'll leave a double tip.
La vieja confiable si estás por las tarascas
We're specifically reviewing the "Mamarracho" rooftop bar, located in what used to be the Don Lucas market. The truth is, the drinks are delicious, the waiters provide very attentive service, and they always greet you with a smile. It has a beautiful view at night, and if you happen to go on a Sunday afternoon, you can take some lovely photos of the aqueduct.
It's a good place to grab a bite. There are several different restaurants, but everything is unified under a single menu. I usually go for the burgers I like; I ordered the Bremmer, which was very good and reasonably priced. The service has been adequate, but when I've gone around lunchtime, it's been incredibly slow. I don't know if there was only one waitress serving the entire place, upstairs and downstairs, but the process of getting served, asking for the bill, getting change, etc., was very slow. In the late afternoon or evening, if there's a big game on and you're not a sports fan, you'll hate coming here because of the shouting from other diners reacting to the game.
Very nice, personally they served us well, they took our order quickly and it didn't take more than 15 minutes for our order to arrive, the hot dogs are good, but the hamburgers lack flavor, I mean, they are good but they don't taste like anything 😅. But in general everything is delicious, the unicorn milkshake is good but it's pure bubblegum flavor haha it doesn't taste like unicorn 😂😂😂 no, seriously, it's good.
Very good burger! Honestly, and to be honest, service should always be improved. A bad experience is something you get over, and I'm only saying this so they can improve. They took quite a while to come and serve us; we had to speak a bit loudly to get their attention. They only took our food order and never offered us anything to drink. Of course, we took the initiative and ordered drinks ourselves. It really is a good place. The burgers have pieces of habanero pepper in them, and they don't tell you!
el lugar esta bien, pero el servicio ya van dos veces que me cobran de más y con propina en la cuenta sin preguntar antes.
Service is awful
Now it's called Mamarracho, a bad experience. The mixed drinks in pitchers aren't good, the beer is served in plastic pitchers and isn't cold enough, and to top it all off, the waiter asked us to add a 10% tip. It was very uncomfortable.
The place is great, especially with the remodeling, good atmosphere, but it's completely ruined by the fact that they include the tip in the bill and the worst of all is that they charge you like 20%, excessive and in bad taste, that's why I won't go back.
Se tardan mucho en preparar los alimentos
No fui atendido :( pésimo servicio
I went to a PRIDE party and what a disappointing place! The food was terrible, the drinks were beyond praise, and they were incredibly expensive. The bathrooms were disgusting, and not to mention the "wonderful" service from the waitresses. The party planning left a lot to be desired, but that's a separate issue. The chairs were in poor condition, they never provided us with a menu, and they ran out of everything before 11:00. In the end, they only sold sad, lukewarm beer. Zzzzzzz, with all the intent to offend.
They rip you off when you pay with a credit card; it happened to me yesterday. They also charge a 20% tip without even mentioning it's a tip. My bill, which should have been 500, came to 1000, supposedly due to a terminal malfunction. Don't go there.
We've been going there for a long time. The facilities are nice, although at this point they look run down. The service is about 2/3 average; some servers are friendlier than others, but it's still not the best service in the world. What really makes me think twice about going is that they charge you a tip, and it's 15%. I don't mind leaving it. It's not the amount, it's that it's not right. Tipping is NOT mandatory, and it's ILLEGAL to charge tips without advance notice. I hope the managers or other people take charge of solving the problem. I hope I never go again, but if I do, I hope they've already trained their staff to provide exceptional service and that they pay them better so they don't go around demanding tips. Why don't they even tell you it's included? They just charge you and that's it. So be careful when you go. It's better not to go.
The place is excellent, really. They just don't take full advantage of it, since there isn't even a decent TV to watch the games. Aside from the terrible cold food, which is also frozen, and the Coca-Colas are room temperature. We all know that using ice with a hot drink only makes you end up drinking it flat. The worst part is the terrible service, and they also charge the tip they want. I won't be back.
What a crappy place. If you want to spend your money wisely, choose any other establishment. The workers are unsuitable, disrespectful, and the service is similar. Plus, the food isn't worth it; making the same dishes at home is cheaper and tastes better than here. Up with Santos.
We received terrible service; it took two hours for everything to arrive. The burgers were overly seasoned, and the fries were drenched in salt. The final straw was when they made us pay a mandatory tip after the staff's rude and arrogant behavior.
I'd heard about this place, but it's not worth a damn. I don't understand why anyone would go there. The food is so bland; for example, the boneless wings have no flavor, and the guy making the burgers took over 40 minutes to prepare one. From the moment we ordered, we could tell he was just wasting his time. I'd only eat there if someone paid. I don't recommend it. Cheers!
