The young man helping us I believe his name was Josh, he was outstanding. Very nice, friendly, and attentive to our every need. He was on top of everything. I greatly appreciate his service. The appetizer was good but my french pot roast was not that good to me it was sweet tasting. My salad was good except they put raw zucchini in it instead of cucumbers which were bitter tasting. My family members had the honey salmon which they said was very good and we also had the jambalaya with pasta which they said was also very good the desserts were very good. Overall it was a very good experience.

We are from KY and stopped in here for a quick lunch. The service by Thomas H. was outstanding, he was very welcoming and personable. Extremely attentive and it’s possibly the best service I’ve ever received. He helped me pick out the stuffed French toast Monte cristo and it was delicious. He did amazing with our 6 year old and let him practice ordering his own food. The beignets were our dessert and they really hit the spot. If you’re not from Moreno Valley and looking for a place to have fantastic food and top quality service then i recommend Mimi’s Cafe and Thomas H as your server.

So when I got here I really didn’t like where we were being seated ,so I asked to be seated at bar area which was closed ,&dirty but we got settled into our seats once area was cleaned !!! and just a the waiter was coming over to take our Order I realized that we wasn’t given any menus , so long story short we got our menus & orders taken ,drinks all that & hunnii let me tellllll yallll!!! The food was AMAZING !!!! Best French toast I’ve had !!! Hunni says it was Brioche bread !!!i don’t even care it was super delicious 🤤 & authentic not like other places and the bread is thick and nasty ,the eggs was just the way I like them over medium & bacon was super good 😊 overall I LOVED MY OWN FRENCH TOAST MEAL !!! MY SERVER was amazing & patient ! He even gave me peanut butter for my French toast like I asked 🥰 I will definitely be back & definitely recommend!!! One of my favorite breakfast chains, Mimi's! And this location was not going to let me down. Got to enjoy one of their new upcoming Fall season drinks, Pumpkin Spice Iced Latte ☕️ and it was exquisite! Very different to all other pumpkin spice lattes around, which I loved. Also enjoyed a delicious, but temporary, breakfast dish; the Mediterranean Eggs Benedict 🫠🤤. The combination between the hollandaise and pesto sauce was so creamy and delicious. Totally recommend it 😁 Staff were nice and polite. Wait time was decent, 20-30 minutes, for a Saturday morning. Overall a very pleasant and enjoyable breakfast.

I would only suggest for them to cook the crab cakes a little longer or hotter grill so the crab cake can get lightly crispy on the outside. Nice large portions. Nice friendly service. Comfortable booth. I will be back for some brunch! I was pleasantly surprised. Oooh and had a spicy bloody Mary. Delicious! Great for hangover.

I’ve been to Mimi’s Cafe a few times. Located off of Day St. Moreno Valley. Clean, relaxing and flavorful dishes. Breakfast lunch and dinner, never experienced a bad moment. One of the popular and my favorite is the eggs Benedict with one of their Mimosas is an experience, This is a nice place to take that special someone in your life, a business meeting and a great Sunday breakfast.

I took my mother here and we had some amazing food she ordered fish I ordered the chicken strips for an appetizers and I also ordered the grilled cheese sandwich with five cheeses... The food was so good I had to go back again 3 days later and I actually as someone who has not eaten fish for 30 years took a bite of my mom's dish and it was amazing It tastes so good.. and I've also added the picture of the beef dip sandwich that she got the next time we went down there...UPDATE: I went there today September 12th and I want to say that Grace is amazing I love when she's working and so is Steven he's so nice very kind had such a great time the food is so so good I was craving it so much and I'm never disappointed

Located on the corner of Day St. and Campus Pkwy. with plenty of parking. We've enjoyed Mimi's for many years now and continue having a good experience at this location. The restaurant is clean and organized with a full-sized bar and an outside seating set-up (although I've never seen customers dining outside). On this past visit, I tried their 'Jambalaya' served over rice. It was really tasty and fresh. We added 'Six Carrot Raisin Nut Madeleines' to our bread basket which was a great idea. Their menu consists of 'Burgers, Sandwiches, Salads, Steaks, Salmon, Chicken Pot-Pie, Pasta, Soups, All-Day Breakfast, and more'. Prices are fair and portions are generous. Service was great. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and welcoming. Shout out to our server, 'Maria' who was super attentive and made sure we had a positive dinner experience. We will continue to choose this Mimi's based on their good service.

Today was our first time at MiMi's and our server, Thomas H, was the BEST! He gave us great suggestions off the new menus, showed us where to find seasonal specials, and even helped us decide what to eat! He was attentive, kind, and patient with our 6 year old who is practicing ordering on his own. We got to try the lemon poppy seed muffin (which was DELICIOUS) and also ordered the new beignets for dessert. Thomas was excellent at communicating how much longer our food would be and NEVER let our drinks go empty. He didn't make us feel rushed, checked in at exactly the right times, and made sure we enjoyed our experience. Honestly, Thomas' service alone made me wish we lived here. But for a traveler's lunch, this restaurant provided a wide variety of menu options (paired with such amazing service) that accommodated our entire family's cravings. If you made it to the end of this, 10/10 recommend stopping by for a good meal. And if you really want to leave happy, request Thomas H.

I have always liked Mimi’s Cafe, but had never been to this location. I visited here around 1:30pm on a Saturday thinking it would be very busy, but it wasn’t busy at all! The interior is a home style, Victorian vibe and the restaurant seemed to be clean and maintained. Our server was attentive, and on top of everything. Our customizations in our orders both came out exactly as asked for, which is a big plus. The food here is awesome, especially the breakfast! I will definitely be recommending this Mimi’s Cafe location, and will be returning myself! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Great food and very nice staff. We haven't been to one in awhile, because we thought they were all closed up. When we stumbled on this one we tried it out. They were out of a few liquor items but that was our only negative mark. Place was a little worn but it was clean, including the bathrooms!

I've never cared for their food that much. It isn't awful, just not my flow. However, I LOVE their baked goods and deserts. Muffins are warm and yummy. I don't like toffee, but their toffee cake dessert is amazing. Droooooool! Customer service has always been good as well.

When we got here their was a bit of a wait but saw that as a good sign, meaning the food is worth it. Once we went in we were sat in a comfortable booth and the atmosphere was homey and cozy. I ordered the bacon avocado omelette for myself and the chocolate chip griddle cake for my little one. Right away our server came to us, offered drinks, and wasted no time in getting us beverages as well as recommended things based on the fact we were here for breakfast not lunch (it was close to 12 but we had a long night) so the fact they have breakfast all day was a delight. Once our orders came in we dug in, for the griddle cakes they were “pretty artwork” as my child put it. My bacon avocado was smaller then expected and a bit bland but it wasn’t anything a bit of salt couldn’t fix, besides it’s breakfast right? Not everyone wants something strong so it’s understandable. With a bit of salt and the pepper/grilled onions on top of the potatoes (recommended by our delightful server) it was worth the price. Not to mention the Fall White Russian, I don’t know who the bartender was but that drink was perfect. The food might not be the best but the staff certainly are worth the experience. From the host and her attentiveness to the unknown bartender and his luscious drinks, what you hear most in the background is laughs and good times between customers and staff. Even if the food was bad I’d definitely come back for the atmosphere alone, hard to find a place like this around here. To Maddy, thank you for being so quick and attentive even though the place was packed, but especially for your kindness.

Ordered a chicken salad. I was told "bacon is made fresh". I wanted extra bacon. I expected bacon crumbles from real fried bacon...but I received pieces of soft bacon. I don’t know if the host is supposed to tell someone when they’re sitting someone, or if maybe our server was on lunch. It was like we were ghosts haunting that booth. Eventually we just got up and left and went to the Applebees. It’s right next door. Can’t imagine I’ll ever go back or think about this restaurant again.

It’s supposed to be $5 off appetizers from 8pm-close yet this is the second time I’ve visited that they have not taken it off my bill. Usually the food is really really good at Mimi's but this time it was just okay. It could have just been the items that we ordered so I will change my review once we're able to go back and have something different. I will say though that the mimosa flight is not worth it. They give you three large glasses of juice and a tiny bottle of champagne. And when I see tiny I mean a personal sized. It was basically all juice and you would probably need one tiny bottle for each large glass of juice they give you. In my opinion it would be better to order a large bottle of champagne for $30 which is what they said it would cost. I'll go back.

Ordered the full course Ceasars salad, chicken cordon bleu and bread pudding. Also kids meal with tenders. Tried the chicken tenders over breaded and over cooked no flavor, you need dipping sauce. Ceasars salad was good, chicken cordon blue had zero seasoning and the only flavor was the mustard which barely came through. The meat inside was so thick it was like biting through a block of cheese and with no seasoning it was hard to eat. Baked potato as a side was over cooked much like the tenders. Really disappointing as the food was bland as far as flavor making it difficult to eat.

I am been generous with my review to this place. Racism at is best, no courtesy and absolutely bad customer service, food was dry and cold by the time it made it to our table. Waiter was already at our table providing our drinks when we said we were ready to order, he told us to wait and walked away to the next table which have been just seated. I could see our food sitting in the kitchen and we still had to wait. The Downey location of this restaurant chain has much better service although their parking sucks since is shared with the hotel. Waiting time 20 minutes although many tables are empty. Only using one side of restaurant. Mens restroom was dirty, did not appear to have been cleaned for days. The server was friendly and food was good. Sanitation was not his fault. No bread basket due to covid-19 policies.

Ok the waitress and the waiter are excellent. They really make the place run but the food is unpleasant. The only thing good was *Fruit cup * Cappuccino * Frenchtoast The corn fritters had too much cumin but it was ok Now my bf had a burrito 🌯 it was ew and looked nasty The potato were dry Accd to indeed these chef's are underpaid so I'm guessing that's why. Expert chefs won't work here for 17 an hour so inexperienced chefs w no passion to cooking are hired so then we end up w terrible food. Our bill was $80 We don't like to go out because it's not affordable but sometimes I need a break. But I ended up feeling disappointed because the food was eh But the servers are wonderful but it's only so much they can do The salad was 🆗 except the shrimp 🍤 was overcooked. I'm unsure how they did that like dried out. The fruit cup was delicious The burrito was a 0 Cappuccino was good The corn fritters were good just less cumin.

I had ordered this meal over the phone and it was horrible the French toast were all soggy and not done all the way the bacon looked like it was sitting for a while it was so hard and crunchy, the eggs was the only thing good in this meal and I paid $16 what a waist this meal should have been cooked fresh and all the way for $16

Chicken pot pie was rancid. As soon as I broke the crust, there was a strong cheese smell expired milk smell. The taste was all wrong, too. There isn't aged cheese in this dish. My family members made comments about the smell as well because we've eaten here before and never experienced this. While management apologized and comped the item, they didn't do anything additional to make up for this huge oversight. It makes you question if they put dates on their ingredients in the kitchen. Pretty unfortunate and gross. I typically enjoy eating here. But I don't plan on returning.

No ambiance, took while to get service, server was helpful but served food without utensils, took while to get requested water. Waited for over an hour for food! They forgot us! The manager so he would take care of it and then he went MIA. Never came back to our table. Never acknowledge that his staff was incompetent.

Paid $14.00 for the quiche lorraine. Didnt eat it, just laughed at it. Couldnt cut it as the dough in the entire bottom was raw and tough, as in OLD, so I picked it up like a pizza(pizzas are thicker than this thing) and pulled it apart. The edges were like rocks. Not one peice of bacon, and the egg was thin as could be. The taste was as foul as it looked, old. Also, the couple of potatos they threw in were floverless and previously frozen. Complete trash.

On Father's Day, June 15, 2025, I took the time to celebrate my husband, but unfortunately, the food and service were disappointing. They had run out of several menu items, the food was poorly prepared with eggshells in it, and it was served cold. I do appreciate that the manager offered to cover the meals, but unless there are improvements in meal preparation, I won't be coming back.

If I could give less than one star to this place I would. The service was garbage and took forever just to place our order for food. I ordered a mimosa flight and an oatmeal. By the time the server came back with the food our cups were empty and never came back to check on us. I did pay card and left no tip because of how bad the service was and now it is 2 days past. My card has finally processed the payment but the kicker is the server put in his own tip this mush be a joke.

Well I just wanna say. I found a small piece of plastic. In my food. The server was nice enough to take it back to the kitchen and come back with a toothpick she says "it" had come off of. . .ok that being said. I had already lost my appetite. I wasn't able to get around the idea of them not being a little more careful. . . And how many other people had eaten the plastic. I still kindly paid for my food. Full price I might add. . . And no apologies we're given.. pray no one else finds things in their food..

My family and I came to eat here today. I had only visited a couple of times but this time was really bad the service and the food, my granddaughter ordered the chicken strips from the kids menu and she didn’t like them, we all tasted them and the chicken tasted like it went bad. That’s horrible because kids are eating that. I ordered the huevos rancheros and the salsa had a bad taste and the coffee was dirty water. I am really disappointed and do not recommend and will not be back. They did credit the chicken tenders but I am still not happy.

Please don’t take this as bashing the restaurant as this is solely based on my experience. Family went out to grab brunch but decided to try something new…wife mentioned Mimi’s and being we were already hungry it was near and fast. Ordered the roast chicken as on the menu it looked very tasty, perfect color, great portion and juicy. I received a good portion but pale, flavorless and dry. My wife had the trio for brunch and its was basically soggy with all the toppings. Burgers looked fine that my kids had. We won’t be going back, even though the service was good…I won’t take the chance with the food again.
