Nice place. We tried their coffee and it was top notch. The espresso shots came out nicely and wasn't too bitter. However, the spinach empanada was meh. The place was also decent, but I felt like we weren't welcome to come sit have some grub and work in our laptops.
Cool place. Lots of indoor holiday decorations. Latte was great. Service was great. But it’s very small. But also busy.
Came for a quick drink before a meeting, quick service and greeted by an amicable staff. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Ambiance was cozy and no loud music as some cafes have. Pastries for sale as well. I bought a chai tea latte, nothing special but was good, hit the spot. Clean, eatablishment.
Really nice and cozy place, especially for a weekend coffee and/or brunch. Ample space for children to play and ample outdoor seating. Park, library and downtown shopping also near by. Of course, also great for intermissions during shows.
Came here during intermission at Mountain View Performing Arts Center. Best intermission cafe anywhere! Wow!

Great coffee! Got an iced latte with almond milk & sugar free vanilla syrup. I gave the food 4 stars just because the croissants I got weren’t fresh, but they also weren’t bad!
Our third visit for espresso drinks and they’ve been great. Really well made. Outside the fountain sitting space is delightful and close to the library Park. Our first crepe here this morning! Delicious!! And they make pancakes too. Next time. Great budget and smiles too. Do this.
I really love the atmosphere of this place, located right in the performing arts building at the mountain view downtown, perfect for getting food during a performance or even just on a stroll. There are also so many options, not just sweet stuff, I recommend the beef empanadas (best I've had)!

If you pay with card, note there is a $5 minimum purchase. Decent coffee and baked goods. The barista was pleasant. Indoor seating includes individual bar stools or small tables for two. Outdoor seating can accommodate 4 at a table.
Nice seating options. Indoor interior is peaceful, outdoor has a lot of variety in seating options. Free MV wifi, food is decent. Good place to chill if you need wifi.

The area is nice. The coffee is good. Seating is good outside but a little odd on the inside. The food is good but sometimes is a little stale. The staff are hit or miss.
Nice little place with a decent number of drink options, perfect for a quick stop next to the plaza. Nothing fancy, but convenient and gets the job done.
Artichoke Quiche: taste was good, but food temperature was poor. I liked that the artichoke hearts were finely chopped up (no chunks). That said, one side of the quiche was pipping hot, the other stone cold. They admitted to warming it up in a microwave; I observed their microwave ovens were very small, so most likely they did not have rotating trays to evenly distribute the heat. Chicken and Mushroom Empanadas: these were thoroughly warm and moist inside. The crust was soft but added to the overall flavor.

Food is ok but it’s prob worth it to walk down the street if you got the time. Drinks be popping I really like the ice cream shake I will come back for their smoothies.

Nice location and good atmosphere. Outdoor seating area is excellent. But the menu is limited and food quality is just average. The only service staff we saw was not well trained. She made it look like a DIY Cafe. I secretly wish the owner can pay attention to food and service improvement for such a good location and atmosphere.
Pretentious energy especially from the people working there, but the coffee is good. Decent place to study.

It's my first time trying this local small cafe but it was a very bad experience. The staff was rude and awkward taking my order even though I'm the only customer in the cafe. The croissant is dry and sad and tasteless. I asked her for a cup of warm water and she gave me tap water straight from the tap. She had an attitude that made it feel like she had more important things to do and I as a customer was inconveniencing her. I asked her for a receipt and it seems that it even bothers her more despite none else being in the cafe. Overall, I think the cafe is in a good location but I won't recommend it to anyone or come back again.

An obnoxious place! I would never go back EVER again! I don't usually write bad reviews for a place but this time I really feel like I have to say something. On Veteran's Day, I originally planned to study in the Mountain View Public Library which is a block away from this cafe. Unfortunately the library was closed. In search of a place to study, I walked to the lobby of the Performing Art Center which is attached to this cafe and was delighted to find out several small tables and chairs there. As soon as I sat down, this obnoxious guy from the Cafe came up and told me I was not allowed to study there. So I had no choice but to leave the lobby and walked into the cafe. It was small and noisy, decor was mediocre, not an ideal place to study and read. But I decided to give it a try. I picked a table and sat down. As soon as I opened my laptop, the same obnoxious guy immediately came up and told me in a very rude way that "this cafe is for customers only". I felt deeply OFFENDED by it! 2/3 of the cafe was empty, and he couldn't allow someone to sit here for a while before buying a coffee? It wasn't like I was going to sit there the whole day without buying anything; I would definitely buy something, and I just wanted to sit down for a bit and reply to some emails first before I do that. In retrospect, that obnoxious and ugly-looking guy had the full intention of kicking me out of the lobby and forcing me into their cafe. What's wrong with a young woman sitting quietly in the lobby and studying/reading by herself? People working at this cafe do not care about customers at all and are rude to customers. All they care about is how to make money from you, and they're very short-sighted: they have already lost a customer forever!
During kid music weekend when there are kids everywhere and my toddler led me into this place wanting to explore. There are only 2 small groups of people at tables in the back. The entire store is empty, no one is browsing their products excepts us. And the guy behind the counter said no to my kid when he is interested on the stuff in the fridge. And he said we are blocking the way. Very rude and doesn’t match the family friendly environment this store resides.
As a patron of Theatreworks for many years who has also brought multiple school groups to the theatre to see matinees, I was kind of shocked when my husband and I were kicked out of this cafe when we sat down temporarily to wait for the theatre doors to open. It was about a half hour to curtain, the cafe was not overbusy, and it provides the concession service for the show we were seeing. We were clearly there to see the show, which means we could have made a snack purchase as we have so many times. We may have been about to. Yet we were told to leave, as if we were unruly teens or being profiled as thieves. I wonder what it will be like the next time I stop by for a water or one of the many varieties of mentos or a glass of wine before a show? Will the guy who kicked me out for no reason just like take my money the way he has four million times before? Or will he remember that I dared to reorganize my purse on an unused counter of his "for customers only" establishment that he's running steps from the venue I paid over a hundred dollars to enter and ban me from preordering my intermission refreshments? Was he just having a bad day? Or does he lack basic customer service? In any case, it was an interesting experience and one I wonder if I will repeat.
They kick you out in 30 seconds if you don't buy something SMH. No wonder place is empty!
