Opiniones de Five Guys Mountain View
Great service... the ladies here are awesome. The burgers were perfect and we didn't wait long. One the better Five Guys we've been to.
Order took a little long but they got it all right and perfect! The fries are really good. What makes it one of the best options for burgers is, their menu has vegetarian burger(sandwich) listings ! For
My kids love to get burgers and cajun fries here - it is their #1 choice! This location also has the soda machine with 100+ combos of drinks, which they love too. I prefer this location since it isn't crowded.
Sandwich very well done. Delicious burger and the fries in the peanut oil I found a stirring. Congratulations!! Restaurant clean and organized, cashier very sympathetic. Only the bathrooms which were not very clean.
Food is tasty, service is fast. Not much else to say, and if you want to get into the game of comparing burger joints nearby I don't think you should listen to my opiniom, you should try them yourself. The differences seem mostly about preference, and not some generalizable metric of quality.
Look - if you're trying to find a healthy meal, Five Guys is not the place to go. If you want a really delicious grease-bomb burger with a wide variety of toppings, then stop at Five Guys and you won't be disappointed. The french fries are excellent, especially with the cajun seasoning.
Best burgers I've had, not much compares. Make sure you add fresh jalapeños to your bacon burger. Downside is there are no shakes. Also, why the heck is it always really cold inside?
As I would typically expect from a Five Guys establishment, the food here was very good, and the fries especially, are very fresh! There is plenty of seating -- much more than I expected. I suspect that this place used to be a different dining establishment, but that does not bother me.
I love the Cajun fries and little bacon burger, they always hit the spot after a busy day. The food is always hot, exactly how you want it, and comes out quick, even during rush hours.
Good service, dedicated hard working team. Good burgers and hot dogs too! Buns are a bit sweet though. Fries could be a bit more crispy and fried differently so they don't soak up too much oil
Love this place!! It isn't a quick pick up, unless you do an online order, though it's definitely a fast food type place. You have to wait for it to be freshly grilled, which is what makes it so amazing. The wait time can be long during peek lunch hours, so plan accordingly. The cherry milkshakes and their fries are out of the world!
It's five guys and they one think and they make it well, the burgers! Never had a bad burger from them not in NYC & not in California either. The fries are also delicious and peanut butter milkshake is bomb & has actual peanut butter in it :D
I love these burgers, they are so juicy and delicious. The shakes are also so great. The fries are delicious, especially the Cajun fries. I think this is the best burger place in the area, but I usually doordash because the location isn’t very clean.
One of the few fast food establishments that serves hot dogs so it's got a check in my book that's for sure. Their service is fast enough that I can get a meal during my lunch break. And still have some time to spare bathrooms are super clean for a five guys in my opinion. Definitely would recommend if you're looking for a quick bite to eat.
Five guys is a delicious meal. I love the taste of their burgers. They are great on allergens (except for peanuts, they are everywhere). Their new shakes are an excellent addition to their menu. We go often. It is rather loud though if you are sensitive to noise.
Ok, basically, this is just another burger place with a tasty and rather inexpensive selection of classic food items like burgers, fries, and milkshakes. However, I'd like to to give a big shout out to the guys and gals working at this Five Guys location. Two friends and I arrived just about 10 minutes before closing and not only did we still get served professionally and friendly, we were even allowed to finish our meal at one of the tables inside!
You can't beat Five Guys at what they do. They make good burgers, hot dogs, fries, and shakes. If you are allergic to peanuts STAY AWAY, though. They have peanuts available upfront for snacking, and there is no way that you would not be exposed. That being said, they are great when it comes to getting gluten-free food. They ask if it is preference or allergy. I have Celiac, not an allergy, but I go with an allergy to make it simple. I always order a cheeseburger with grilled onions on a lettuce wrap with fries. My kids are partial to their hot dogs, and my husband likes to get a big, juicy cheeseburger on a bun.
The burgers taste amazing. The milkshakes taste great as well. My favorites are the banana milkshake and the OREO milkshake (pieces and creme). It doesn't take long for the delicious food to be prepared. My only complaint is that is that it is a little more expensive then other restaurants.
This is how a burger should be! I had the Bacon Cheeseburger and fries. Fixed how I like it. The layout of the dining room is a bit off here (too small and congested), but clean. Service was quick, and the burgers were done correctly. Much better than the experience I had up the road at In N' Out. After finally trying the latter, I'm firmly in the Five Guys camp!
About 60% of the time I go into this location there are about six women working/cooking. They are amazing. There is a marked difference in the quality of the food when they are there.
Bomb burgers and even bomber fries. Add the biggest portions I think I’ve ever received and you’ve got yourself one great meal at a great value! Covid-19 related: Employees were all wearing masks and the place was very clean. Keep up the great work!
Employees very kind and the burgers and fries are some of the best of any location. Dennis is an awesome shift-lead; knows me by name!
Five guys has been my most favorite burger restaurant for many years. And this one has been my go to after I moved here to Mountain View. I usually just order from online, head out to this place, and pick up my burger while it’s hot! It’s a very smooth process!
Had a regular burger, 2 patties with "the works." A few minutes later, a burger was ready. It was great with mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, lettuce. It is a tasty burger. Their fries are nice and plentiful, you can ask for extra crispy. They still have a peanuts appetizer while you wait.
It was really fast. There was someone walking around with a clipboard that looked like they were doing a review. I think that was why my food was not as good as usual. MY only complaint is I asked for a hamburger and they gave me a cheeseburger which I didn't find out till I got home. Also, they forgot my shake, but I caught that before I left the parking lot. The service was pleasant and friendly.
It's usually quiet when I'm here. Good, solid five guys restaurant. Great burgers, excellent fries, amazing shakes.
Placed phone order, burgers were ready by the time we arrived. Fries are made last-minute to ensure the best quality which is very appreciable. It means you'll wait a few more min when you get there but you get fresh fries! Food is great, as always with five guys. Staff was friendly too.
How do we say amazing? This place has got to be one of the best burger spots. If you like crispy bacon on a cheeseburger, where when you bite in the crunch says, "aren't I the best bacon you ever tasted?" This is your spot! Not to mention you can have an unlimited supply of fresh shelled peanuts free with your order or you can simply order fries, or enjoy both. They have hot dogs as well, but the burger is hands down amazing. The cheese, melted perfectly, the condiments properly proportioned. Fresh, crisp produce, with a soft bun all wrapped in foil, for that momma just made it taste. This place is at my top locations for a good burger. I think I'm on my way now 😁
What an amazing burger place! Every time I come I have to eat the cheeseburger or the bacon burger. They are a delight to eat and if it is a bad day, it makes the day good again. The fries are also so good.
Great place. My family loves the burgers from there. I requested a change to their website in general for ordering. Since all their buns have sesame seeds, I have to call to have them use two bottom buns because of allergies. This gets annoying. They have the option for no bun and lettuce wrap but not two bottom buns. But every time I call to make the change, they do it which is great!
Update Update: I feel like someone else is running this location now. The fries were wet and soggy, very disappointing. My shake wasn't blended very well, and there were big chunks of chewy banana seed that kept clogging the straw. And the burger wrappers were absolutely coated/smothered in a thick layer of congealed beef tallow, almost like the guy dipped his hands in a bucket of Crisco before wrapping the burgers. Everything was off tonight. There was an uneasy, frantic air about the place, and customers crowded up at the front looking very frustrated. Something is off. What, I don't know. I just grapped my bag and dipped. I hope things go back to normal soon 😞 Update: I have been to this location several times since my first review, and I feel obligated, and privileged, to update my assessment. I had previously complained about the meat being on the bland side, presumably due to a lack of seasoning. I can now report that every burger since then has been deliciously seasoned. The burger construction is the best you could hope for. The patties and toppings aren't just haphazardly slopped onto the bun like they are at so many other restaurants; they are carefully placed atop each other so that there is a nice distribution in every bite. The fries are still the best in town. I have always held McDonald's as the golden fry standard, but that honor now goes to Five Guys. The milkshakes are great, and sometimes I'll stop in just for that if I'm not too hungry. This location is quite possibly the cleanest fast food establishment I have ever frequented, aside from your average Chik-Fil-A. The main entrance seating area is deceptively small; there is probably 3-4x as much seating around the side and back of the restaurant, and they keep the tables clean and free from wobbling. There is also a very pleasant, small, shaded outdoor seating area. Now, let's talk about the staff. Every employee that I have encountered at this location has been courteous, polite, friendly, and professional. You won't see the sad and sullen faces of people who hate their jobs that you might encounter in other fast food establishments. The gentleman that I assume is the manager clearly runs a tight ship, as evidenced by the cleanliness of the restaurant and the quality of the food. He appears to work just as hard as the people that he manages, instead of just sitting around and barking orders. I could stand there and watch this incredibly well-organized guy build burgers all day. I don't often emotionally gush over people doing their jobs well, but I'm almost in tears writing this as I think about how well this place is run. I highly recommend this location for your burger and shake fix.
Oh my gosh! I was in heaven. The burger an fries were out of this world. Everyone was so friendly.
Been here twice, and I absolutely regard it as a must for sandwiches. I'm from the Palo Alto area, so the "barn" concept is really charming. 😆 It's a native thing. I talk to families who have lived here earlier than me. This area is a lovely connection because of it. And I've been around the world.
Nothing bad to say here. From plenty of parking to plenty of seating this is the Five Guys experience you expect. Amazing food & great customer service! Love this place!
Always love getting five guys when craving for burgers. Meat is tasty and we just love that there are a lot of condiments to choose from. We also love that they prepare the food really swiftly. Like, I probably take more time trying to decide what to get longer than waiting for my food to be prepared. Ha! 🤣
nice burger joint and the atmosphere is good for burgers fries and shakes with free peanuts while waiting for your order
nice burger joint and the atmosphere is good for burgers fries and shakes with free peanuts while waiting for your order
It's five guys so don't have your expectations set too high. But if you need a fast burger that tastes good and is cheap, this is your place.
Loved Five Guys in DC. Glad to have them here. Two burgers and two dogs came out as ordered. One order of fries was plenty for everyone. Table was clean. Service was friendly.
Great customer service and the atmosphere is good. I ordered a burger 🍔 and the patties were not that good. Overall great experience 👍
Mediocre food, plenty of fries, not sure what all the buzz is about. Not bad, but just a greasy burger . . .
My favorite fast food burger joint on the peninsula, with excellent burgers and fries. They give you lots of fries, so I recommend sharing. Come hungry, and don't eat too many of the free peanuts!
Tastey burgers and fries made to order, excellent list of fixings, every Coke soda type available, great milkshakes, free peanuts while you wait. Spotless clean. Friendly, fast service. Fairly priced.
Great burgers every time
One of the better burger places in the peninsula. I come here for the burgers and french fries. I have found out that this location doesn't give you as much fries as the other locations. The employees are nice and they put out the food out fast.
Good hot food and the location is great,. bigger older building with a somewhat laid-back vibe, i.e.there was a short lived peanut fight between two groups of plumbers, which was somewhat hilarious. There is limited parking for bigger vehicles and not to much of a hassle getting in and out. Staff generally helpful and friendly.
Out of all the fast food burger places I love Five guys. Great burgers, fries, good service and they have never messed up my order to date. Love the fixings on the burger. Love the fries. Highly recommend
The food is good, delivery is a little slow for fast food, but that is ok since this is a step up in quality. A little on the expensive side if you compare with the higher quality fast food burgers, but of course that is your option as the consumer, as they appear to set the price at what the market will bear.
Fries are rustic and delicious especially with ketchup and a hint of malt vinegar. "Little" is a lot of fries overflowing a paper cup into the bag. Cheeseburger with "All that" included 2 patties and grilled onions and mushrooms but the bottom was soggy.
Nice big juicy American style burgers. They give you tons of fries and have free refills. It's a bit pricy, but what isn't around here. There fries are a little too hot when they give you your meal. So have to wait to for them to cool down, which is a mild bother. The dining area is kind of small. Other then that, this is place great.
This revie was provoked by experiencing a very bed quality of meat, berger for 1st time for the last 10 years. Please fix the problem, I buy hamburger once a weak, and so expansive, but it was worth it, now the meat have bone particles in it? How is that possible? Major flow and maybe bad supplier cheaper on the customer expense?) Thank you and I hope the issue is addressed sooner!
My burger with cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, mushrooms, ketchup, and mayonnaise was delicious. My granddaughter enjoyed her burger which we ordered with condiments on the side. My husband ate a veggie sandwich. Their fries are always crisp and delicious. I would have preferred less salt on the fries, but my husband thought they were fine that way. I miss the peanuts that used to be there, but I guess they took advantage of the pandemic to cut out those costs in the name of safety. The difference between their regular and large burgers is a matter of 1 vs 2 patties.
Among the better fast-food burgers I've had. For around ten dollars you get a burger (with two patties) and a drink. I usually get the bacon cheeseburger, which is a couple bucks more. Like any Five Guys, they have a good assortment of toppings they will add to the burger for free, and free peanuts to munch on while you wait. This location has one of the "free style" Coke machines that lets you choose from dozens of flavors. They're not as good as higher-end places like Umami Burger, and their menu isn't as big as sit-down burger restaurants like Red Robin, but they're good for what they are.
They are very generous the the portion size for the fries. My kid loves the fries here. Their veggie sandwich with cheese is good too. But they dont have any patty options for vegetarians. In todays age it shouldn't be hard to get a vegan / vegetarian black bean patty or impossible patty and add it to the menu. If they do that im sure they would reach a wider customer base.
1 burger + 1 small burger + 1 small fry + 1 milkshake for $34. Burgers and milkshake were good, as usual. The spicy fries were overly seasoned. We could not eat them.
Five guys should have 5 stars. The only complaint I have is the price. I purchased two bacon cheeseburger meals, which were both excellent. Came with fries and a drink, as well as the complimentary peanuts. The total cost was around $55. (Don't forget to tip your server. They were excellent here.)You won't be disappointed with the food or service, just expect a $60 dollar lunch for 2.
Food was fresh and tasty. I took mine to go. I had a Cheeseburger all the way and little fries. I usually am not a fan of the fries but these were cooked perfectly; crispy on the outside and soft inside. Gave Atmosphere three stars because there were tables that were really dirty and only one other couple that ordered right as I walked in. There were four employees and I went at an off time that wasn’t busy. No reason the tables should be dirty and food on the floor.
The burger was quite good. Cajun fries different from the usual. Left me with a smile. Loved the shake. The person who took my order was quite friendly. Overall a win. I'd say the burgers are slightly pricier than expected.
First time at Five Guys, so went for the works! Got a double cheese burger with bacon and fries (no drink) The fries were excellent and overflowing out of the brown paper bag containing the meal. By the time I got home, the bag was stained with greasy goodness from the burger. Definitely not a meal when on a diet (unless it’s Keto, then skip the fries and bun!) Absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to try another one of their menu items next time!
The burgers are give guy burgers. I personally love them. The interior was large and spacious with lots of seating even during a busy time. The location is a bit unconventional but I liked it. The only major problem is the line. They are not laid out correctly to handle the flow in and out plus the line and order pickup. Not the greatest flow. One if the best fast casual burgers.
It sure beats McDonald's all around and really costs the same price as anything worth buying there, except you get your choice from a bunch of different toppings that don't cost more just to add them like other restaurants which charge more for deviating from their designed menu item. Specific to this location, the cashier was very friendly and helpful. She accurately took our order and madeextra care to inform us of the differences between the different menu items. The food came out within a reasonable time, was hot and made properly. The only reason for 4 stars is because the napkins weren't in any place accessible without having to search for them and then having to feel guilty for taking them. They also did not have peanuts out nor did they offer them to us. Otherwise... Great Job, Thanks guys!! I recommend this location.
Quick, clean and friendly. Stopped by for a late lunch here. It was somewhat crowded but we got our burger in less than 5 minutes so I was happy about. Fast service is best service. The guys were also friendly. I didn't have any problem with my order. Store is fairly spacey. Lots of seating on the other side of the store. Great for kids. Overall a nice Five guys!
Not many places to find a cheap burger in the area so this place is nice. In terms of fast food I think they deserve a 4/5. They also overload you with fries, you can always expect to get twice as many fries as you order in the form of bag fries.
Five Guys has good food, if you are watching your health I would not recommend going there often, the salt on the fries is heavy, you can ask for no salt. the burgers are juicy but a little greasy. I didn't like the veggie sandwich alternative it was all soggy and fell apart. All in all the taste of the food was nice, The service was like I remember having to provide in my youth. Well done Guys!
Hard to believe I've gone this long without sampling 5G. I'm not an In-N-Out fanboy, and don't need to go there. I ordered what I thought was a regular burger with all the standard toppings (yay mushrooms!). But what I got was a double that maybe had 1/2lb of meat. It was okay, not any sort of gourmet thing, not something I would crave or dismiss. It was at least cooked to order.
The price of five guys in Mountain view is higher than in Midtown Manhattan facepalm. Still the only place I goto for my Cajun fries fix. The fries were well done and the hotdog was pretty good too. The location has ample seating and the ambience was not bad. I think there was just one homeless guy trying to find some scraps but he kept to himself. I ordered a large Cajun fries and and a dog all the way without tomatoes. Both were good.
awesome burgers... super confusing inside this location. here I was at a place called 5 guys... you would think they are pretty clear on gender identity... when heading to the bathroom... they clearly forgot all about that and made both restrooms gender neutral, so that man or woman enter the same restroom! very awkward. consider your name calls out to 5 guys! and yet you act as if there were no real way of identifying those guys. silly!

My experience here was just okay. First of all, they don't serve milkshakes at this location. Not sure why. Restaurant has a ton of seating available and parking in the lot is plentiful and easy. Wait seemed pretty normal for five guys. Disappointed they got my order wrong. No green bell peppers or jalapeños in my cheeseburger as I requested. Due to the layout of the restaurant, ambience isn't the best. The whole back room was dark, cold, and empty so we sat up front by the tv. For those not familiar with this chain, they do offer free AYCE peanuts.
Pretty much same as other locations but often very dirty. We usually go on weekends in evening... Seems like they don't clean the dining area very often because the tables, floors, condiments and drink stations are always a mess so we take ours to-go. Otherwise, good greasy grub!
Food good sweet girl takes your order with good service, unfortunately though even wrapped well in foil but had a leaky burger wasn't aware until after I got out of my car so maybe they can find a better way to wrap it up? Or a warning is good too yes first time there yes I will go back..
I used to make 5 guys the standard by which others had to live up to. In this case, the burger didn't meet expectations. The Patty was not only broken int pieces (oddly layered on top of one another?), But it was hugely over cooked. The fries are still great though, and pretty handily destroy in-n-out's fries. The burger though...
They mess up my order a lot.
I’m a wife of 3 kids and we went for a family meal at five guy! When we were done we walked to the car and a man in a mask shot my wife and my 2 eldest kids. other than that it was great
Super crowded, not enough workers, the workers they had were really trying but the crowd was out the door. Ordered online, but still waited a half hour. There was no parking when we got there, it was raining and huge puddles soaked our shoes. The food was nothing special. Will likely give this place a miss in future.
Food is exactly what you want from a burger joint. Don't bother ordering ahead - it seems to take longer that way. Today I ordered sandwiches using the app. While waiting inside at the appointed ti…
I used to eat there 3 times a week. Now I think I'll go to McDonald's instead. consistently during he last few visits the Bacon burger was soaked in greece to the point that the bun fell apart the minute I unwrapped the packaging, and the cheese has changes from slices to some sort of Cheese Wizz mixture. They no longer offer their signature peanuts, not even if you offer to pay. THEY HAVE GIVEN UP, per an employee "the company is out of money. Don't expect much". I agree.
Not the first place I'd pick among other nearby 5-Guys and In-n-Outs. This place is so greasy it creeps me out. The burgers drip with grease. Your bag is soaked in grease. The tables, chairs, and floor are covered in grease and peanut shells. It's otherwise a pretty good burger. There's a good selection of toppings but the tomatoes are not ripe. Shakes are pretty good for fast food, but still very sweet and a bit gummy.
Tried to order a secret menu item, fries half and half. That is one order of fries half Cajun and half regular. Simple enough, but the new cashier was like a deer in the headlights. She turned to her manager, and he flat out refused to do the right thing.
Ordered online for curbside service. Arrived 5 minutes before scheduled time. Waited 5 minutes after scheduled time no one came out. Walked in Hispanic female asked my name then just walked away. Tried to explain it was for curbside. Didn't listen or cared. Waited 10 more mins until the order was completed. Good thing the burgers were good and tasty. Fries were suppose to be Cajun but not and cold. The whole purpose of scheduling the order was to save time. Customer Service lacks at this location.
We have been to this location quite a few times. The burgers and fries are good but the customer service is awful. We went there to pick up an order we called in and were informed it would take 5-7 minutes. It took 30 minutes where the woman who came in and placed an order after we paid was served first. We will be taking our business elsewhere as this was not the first time this has happened.
I really wanted to love this place, unfortunately they are not taking their business seriously. The food is decent and there are good options (I really appreciate bacon and/or mushrooms that you don't have at In-n-out). On the other hand, burger and fries are absolutely NOT better than what you would find at in-n-out. So why would you pay twice the price? This place is expensive as hell (for what it is). Also, they give you the food in bags to go and it's pretty impossible to check your order. Too bad, because they are not very good at preparing your order carefully. Last time I went, I order 3 burgers and 2 fries. They give me my order, I recount and find only 2 burgers. I let the guy know that one is missing and he starts preparing something (randomly?). So I ask him how he knows which burger is missing. He tells me he just knows .. Well, I wasn't very surprised to see once at home that my order was COMPLETELY wrong ... I give them a call, they promise they will recontact me to deal with that and send me coupons. Obviously I've never heard again from them. At this point I just let go because I've lost enough time with them.
I go here only under duress and pressure from the kids. Burgers are hella greasy and that is just the style. You'll end up with way more fries than is reasonable, but if you are looking to pack on the calories, they will get you there Note when you order for pickup, even if your burger has been hanging out ready, you will have to wait for fresh fries (kinda a good thing). Heaven help you if you order a shake. I hope you've got time to kill waiting
Walked up right now at 9:50 (They close at 10pm) doors locked, staff goofing around inside. I mean I get they close at 10pm, but locking the doors early????

don't waste your time. waited twenty minutes for a hot dog, when I enquirer where my food was, they found they had lost the order! Then what they gave me wasn't fit to eat......the whole experience…
They messed up my order. I ordered a burger with "everything" + onion. They managed to get that on the ticket, but the burger came out with nothing! To be fair, they offered to remake the burger and ended up giving me the toppings on the side. But, I had already waited a long time for my burger. Also, the place was dirty, the floor felt sticky and the bins looked disgusting. There was a spot where the roof was leaking.
Horrible service at this location. I ordered a Little Hamburger, payed, was handed the receipt and immediately noticed that it said "Hamburger" instead of "Little Hamburger" and I let the employee who took my order know. She responded by saying "No, you said Hamburger" and stared at me, refusing to change the order even though they could not have possibly started preparing it in the few seconds that passed. I told her I am not asking for a refund, just give me the small burger which basically means put only one patty in between the buns instead of two. She ignored me and a few minutes later out came the regular two-patty Hamburger and I had to throw half of it in the garbage. So not only was it a waste of money, but a waste of good meat. From reading other reviews I see I am not the first customer to get an attitude here. Shame on Five Guys for enabling this behavior.
Terrible service! If you're looking for a slightly more upscale fast food Burger this isn't the place. Had to send my burger back twice. After 2 tries, it was still wrong! Just a burger with bacon, lettuce, tomato, A1 and grilled onions. The two out of five employees that speak broken English here made no attempt to apologize for the either screw up. Ownership of this store should be embarrassed at providing such substandard service. The McDonald's across the street has yet to screw my order up for less money. I would pay three times as much for food made correctly the first time ( or even the second time). On top of the incorrectly made Burger, the french fries were soggy and oily. Clearly, they don't take pride in what they do here. I received a full refund at my request and left without getting my replacement food. I've been to a dozen 5 guys, this one is particularly terrible.
I’ve been coming to this location for a few months and honestly the customer service is terrible. I used to work at 5 guys in Redwood City and we never gave this type of service. Today I came in and the cashier was just rude it seemed like he didn’t want to be there and went I ordered my food he questioned what I order like I said I know the menu pretty good because I used to work here. I watched them make my food and they completely missed the patty. They gave me my food with no Patty. When I told them they forgot my patty they didn’t apologize and they questioned me when I still showed them the receipt. The manager came and looked at the receipt as well it took 3 people to correct my order. And to top it off our fried were under cooked and soggy. No one likes soggy fries. This place needs to be straightened and they need to be trained for customer service.
Small Bugs on the windowsil and on the tables. Hard to imagine where they wouldn’t be.. going to different 5 guys location.
