I went there with a friend, unfortunately I did eat there because I was still full from lunch. But the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The restaurant had a lot of lovely and unique art work. I definitely plan to visit again the next I'm in Texas.

The food is delicious - served hot and fresh. Desserts like flan and apple pie topped with ice cream were mouth-watering. Service was friendly and attentive. Management was very helpful in assisting us in speaking with our mostly Spanish-speaking waiter. This company is to be congratulated for their focus on service to the community and its customers, and care for their employees.

We went to Cristina’s a on a week night for a quick dinner. Although we arrived within an hour of closing time the service was great. The food was delicious! We had the chicken quesadillas and chicken tacos. The portion sizes were generous. We’ll be back!

Food is alright, not the best Mexican food I've had but also not the worst. My rating would be a 3 if it wasn't for the nice and attentive staff. Never once was I sitting abandoned with no drink, nor was I without chips and salsa. The young man serving us was very sweet and helpful.

Update - Still good food and service. The whole family enjoyed it. Quick service. True Mexican Food! I have been on the hunt for some authentic Mexican Food. The staff are kind, helpful, respectful, and accurate with orders. Maria greeted us and she was very nice. Everything appeared clean and there was no foul smell. Sometimes restaurants reak of fried food or oil - not here. I ordered the Carne Asada and an enchilada- they were perfect. Usually Carne Asada is over cooked, but it was so tender, easy to chew and pink throughout the middle. My kids ordered quesadillas and enchiladas - Everything was great. Rice, beans, guacamole was good too. The salsa was too tomato tasting for me, but the kiddos liked it. Not spicy. Will definitely return. A family of 7 ate for less than a 100 before tip.

We have been going there since the day they opened for business. We love the food, the atmosphere, the service, friendly waiters and management too. If you go as often as we do you get to know all the staff and they know you. If you get a margarita or any other drink you get a special shot glass of their special liquor when you finish your meal. They get very busy at dinner time so the trick is to go early or at 7:20pm when the dinner crowd is leaving. We have been known to get a quart of their cheese dip to have at home later... We give it 5* Jack & Cynthia

The fajitas are great, love the atmosphere. The kids actually eat the food ...and their deserts are tasty! The only thing I would suggest to change is the size spoon they give with their kids plates (but it's easily fixed!) This location is definitely one worth returning to 😁.

The food was meh. My fiance's fajita beef came out rather raw and the restaurant owner/manager came over and apologized profusely (as well as the waiter) and asked if it could be replaced with anything and said that he would have a chat with the cook staff. Absolutely awesome customer service. This was the only time we have ever come here when the food was bad and they followed it up with impeccable customer service. Right as we were walking out the manager apologized again. Awesome.

I picked up lunch for the family. Everything was absolutely wonderful. Large amounts. I love this place.

First time there. Everything was great except felt like waiter was rushing us. He was very good at his job. He was prompt with everything; maybe that is why we felt like we couldn't linger. We will go back.

The food was delicious although the temp was a little inconsistent between the different types of food, i.e. the sour cream enchilada was steaming hot, but the beans weren't very hot at all. Still tasted good though. One thought: their servers wear gloves, but there is no indication that they change them from one table to the next, thereby negating the purpose of the gloves. Doesn't bother me, I just don't see the point

So accommodating and fast! It’s Saturday night and I expected a wait - nope! And food was out hot and fast. Donovan was phenomenal and went above and beyond. Wish I had left him a bigger tip. Next time bc I’ll definitely be back. Leagues better than the Garland location which was my only pervious experience with Christina’s - much different experience bc of my server Donovan and the management.

The ladies from church and I all met there for a get together but I have been many times. We had a group of around 15 and there was plenty of room for us to eat and visit on the patio area. The Salsa is awesome. The pork tamales Always call me back and they make great Mexican rice as well. The girls said the tacos were really good and the meat was good quality. The staff was super nice and never griped (at least where we could here-LOL) about us needing separate checks for almost everyone in the large group. I would absolutely recommend this place.

I am so glad I chose this place for our first Tex Mex experience! We wanted to find a Mexican restaurant that was delicious and authentic and we found this one! I was very impressed with the staff. I haven't had Mexican in years so I forgot what a lot of the food was and asked our waiter for help to choose what I was looking for to eat. It was so good! The inside was clean and beautifully decorated. Lots of photos for us to enjoy while waiting and eating our food. Thank you!

We have been here many times. They are consistently friendly, the food is consistently wonderful, and the service is consistently good. I had never tried fish tacos before and they are so good here, I am hesitant to try them anywhere else! I would recommend this place any day.

Restaurant wasn’t crazy busy. Hostess gave us our choice of patio seating. Waiter was very good. Food and drinks were enjoyable.

Overall really good. Got enchiladas, which were pretty good. Tableside guacamole is ok; not as good as other places. The service was excellent though. I went there with a party of 16, and the servers were very attentive. No one was really waiting for anything, which is hard to do with such a large party. Chips were always quickly replaced when they ran low.

Due to Covid there were only two waitresses. But our waitress did the best she could with our table of 10. We unknowingly showed up 30 mins prior to close and she handled it with grace and poise. Service was a bit slower than normal but that is to be expected with the shorter staff. Food was delicious and hot when served and everything was served on point. Will be back for sure.

Felt a little mistreated by hostess at first who wouldn’t let us sit in the patio area, but the manager noticed and got involved. He ended up serving us with other admin and they were great. Tableside guac was amazing as was literally all the other food. Margaritas tasted fresh and not like a pre-bottled mix. Definitely recommend this location.

Came for a quick snack. Service was was quick and efficient. I would definitely try to make it more inviting even if not busy, such as turning bar lights and the TV's on.

I am being generous with 3 stars. The service was ok, but the food was (in the words of one of the people in my party) "the whitest Mexican food ever." The rice is overcooked and not too terribly authentic tasting, the cheese sauce would have been better if it was Rico's from a can and the filling in the burritos and flautas was uninspired. People at my table were combining the cheese with the salsa just too give it some flavor. Unfortunately, this is becoming more of the norm than the exception.

My rating is due to hit or miss with customer service. The food is excellent with great kids eat free Monday and Tuesday. The staff and management could use training in customer service. We have started making going a littl e further to the one at Firewheel as a result of poor customer service and management.

Good reasonably priced down to earth Tex-Mex. Service is generally acceptable...in busy times once in awhile it can be a little slow. Not bad...gives you longer to enjoy more of their outstanding margaritas. Fajitas are outstanding, tilapia meals are even better....especially Pecado with garlic sauce. If you need to get your Tex-Mex craving satisfied...you can't go wrong at Cristina's.

Food is ok. Quality of ingredients average. (In reply to owner: I was being diplomatic when I said quality of ingredients I tasted was average. The tortilla in my enchilada really seemed stale and dry. Definitely did not taste fresh. Hope that helps. If you think you've corrected this or this was just a bad day I'm willing to try again and report on my second experience.)

Food is average for “fine” Mexican food. They have forgotten about my order before when I’ve been there for pick up and it took almost a hour total. They didn’t discount anything. This time we called in a to go of just cheese dip and was told 5 mins and had to wait 30 for it. I like the food but will not come to this location anymore for pick up.

The food or service hasn't been great the last few times I've eaten here. It was one of my favorite Mexican restaurants.

I was disappointed. The sign says “Fine” Mexican restaurant. Its not fine at all. Its just average. The staff was nice, and kept the chips flowing but the food is on the level of taco cabana. Drinks are also taco cabana level. Good service but this restaurant isn’t for me.

Service was good, but the food was just ok. The salsa tasted like it came straight out of a jar and my husband said his enchilada sauce also tasted like it came out of a can. Just not very fresh tasting overall.

Been here several times. Food is ok, nothing special. Service is ok, could be better. A little pricey when you factor in quality of food and service. We've seen a guy behind the bar giving himself complementary shots. Maybe if he offered the same to customers there might be more happy customers.

The food was good, but the service was less than expected. Everyone received their order, except me. I was forgotten. Not a big deal, it was corrected quickly. They should smile a little bit.

Food was just ok, wife and I got the carne asada and eggs with beans and breakfast potatoes. The steak was the smallest portion I've ever seen for this type of meal/price point and was overcooked the potato's tasted freezer burned and weren't warm all the way thru. Our waitress only checked on us once right after we received our food leaving us with empty glasses and waiting on the check. Over all it wasn't something we will rush to go to again.

I wish I could then more stars but I went 2 times just to see if there would be a difference but the food is still mid. It’s not bad but it’s not the best I have had. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is ok. They can work a little bit more on their seasoning, some of the food is a little bland. But I grew up eating Mexican food all my life I know homemade when I see it and eat it.

Our chips were stale, the food was just okay, and service was where you felt like that abandoned child left in the corner. Please do better, Cristina’s. Your food isn’t cheap, so when I eat here it should be fresh and good quality.

This used to be one of our favorite places (5 stars in all categories) but the last two times we’ve gone,Sunday morning just after 11:30am, where there are only 1 or 2 other tables occupied, the service has been sub-par. We waited 5 minutes after being seated with no waiter/waitress visiting so we had to get the manager to send someone over. My order of breakfast tacos were nice and hot but the potatoes and black beans were nearly cold. My wife’s soup was also cold and so our food likely got plated minutes before being brought out. The manager comp’d us with a free desert next time; likely there won’t be a next time, certainly not anytime soon.

For many years, I've come here weekly for lunch, but lately have been disappointed again and again by the poor, inattentive service and food that's lukewarm, even when I asked for it to be extra hot. How hard IS it to make hotter broth for your tortilla soup?! You pour it on top of cold cheese and pico so it MUST be extra hot to begin with. I'm tired of coming here, hoping THIS time will be better, only to be disappointed. I really do like the flavors but the temperature is just not acceptable. Waiters need to make change correctly, notice when you're out of beverage and stay on the floor! Seems like you've had a management change recently and NOT for the better.

4 years we have eaten here and we have watched it go down hill. It went from fresh food, to frozen and canned. The menu has not changed in awhile and the overall quality has the same appeal as Taco Bell. This was painful to write as we truly loved going there.

I am a longtime a regular customer of Chepa’s Mexican grill at McDermott in Allen.Christina was my first time visit because one of my coworker has forced to try .Young server’s services was excellent. I was not satisfied their food quality and quantity as a price. My item was pechuga Limon…way to extremely salty the chicken and overcooked. Black beans soup was salty. Other 3 family members items were so so .. But other than guy waiter was lively and courteous.

Leaving a review in hopes that things change and will be different if we decide to go again. We went last Saturday, March 18th. We were sat very quickly, and our server was VERY nice, beyond this it was not good. Our party was 3 adults and 2 kids and we were seated with a very new server. I’ve managed a restaurant and waited tables, and the server should have never been on his own yet. We ordered the queso and when it finally came out, it was lumpy from being cold. We asked for it to be heated up, and it finally returned to our table a minute before our food came. Our food took nearly 30 minutes to arrive. When the food arrived, it too was cold. I ordered avocado soup, and they poured the chicken broth into the soup upon arrival. The broth was not warm enough to melt the cheese. I sent this, and the chicken enchilada back. It came back in our 5 minutes and was better. The others chose to eat cold food. Items that were requested ahead of time, like jalepenos and hot sauce weren’t brought as requested, and the hot sauce never made it, despite being asked three times. Our server has great potential, as he was very kind, but he needs support. Management, give your employees the support and training to help them succeed. We paid and still left a 20% tip for great effort, but if we go back, it will be a while.

We went on a Saturday afternoon and the service was terribly slow. If it were busy, with everyone working tables, that's one thing, however that was not the case. There were a few parties seated, but our server was never around. To order we had to chase down the host in order for him to find our server. This is after waiting over 15 minutes. What drops the review from a 3 to a 2 is that while not the worst food I've eaten, it was mediocre at best. My chimichanga was barely warm inside. All in all, poor service and meh food.

This Christina's was by far the worst experience I've had eating out. Horrible service, the rice and beans tasted like they had been cooked in old grease, and the queso was cold. Just an overall bad experience at this location.

Very disappointed in the food. We ordered two birria taco plates and I’ve had better at a taco truck on the side of the road. The tacos were not crispy at all and were so slimy that they instantly fell apart the minute we picked them up. The “consome” was thin beef broth. No sauce of any kind for the tacos. Service was decent but the food was extremely lackluster, to say the least. I was expecting better, to be honest.

Ordered taco salad and it was just okay. Really expected more flavor. I Would not order again, probably would not try this restaurant again. How do you fail making a salad???? Taco salads I make myself are better so why go out???

The hostess sat us down at a table and put the menus down and the table nearly fell over because it was so wobbly. Then she mention how wobbly the table was and proceeded to leave the menus and said enjoy your meal as she walked back to the hostess stand to flirt with a bus boy. The main course was great but the chips they brought out before the meal were the most stale chips i have ever had the unfortunate opportunity to eat. I ate 2 and could not force myself to eat another. The waitress was nice and the restaurant seemed clean. Drinks from the bar were strong. Overall, better than Taco Bell, but not even close to a "fine mexican restaurant".

We got delivery. We literally live 2 miles away. The food was cold. The tortilla soup was in a tiny container 1/2 full with no cheese avacado or tortilla chips. The fajitas did not come with sour cream or pico and the tortillas were stale. Just awful! Never go back!

Service was terrible. Waited 20 min to even be asked what we want for drinks. Another 20 min until drinks arrived. No communication between staff and they brought out the wrong order to us after ordering it two times to make sure they don’t screw it up. Staff was rude and couldn’t care less to check on us after they brought the wrong food and drinks to the table. Also there are massive cockroaches crawling around the restaurant. Food was pretty good tho

Went to have dinner with my mother and the waiter was extremely rude we asked for a Pareada for 2 and he brought it the meat was pink and we asked him if we can get it well done. His response was IT COMES LIKE THAT all rude the he just took it like he didn’t care. He brought it back and then he we asked him for another portion of rice and he gave us an attitude. We walked out and went somewhere else If your waiter is not going to be in a pleasant mood while serving customers then he should not be at work. I am very disappointed in the service

I can’t remember the last time I had such an underwhelming meal. Everything was completely flavorless, like I couldn’t even taste salt! The salsa is the worst I have ever had—just watery tomatoes. The flautas tasted like they had cheese in them, which I can’t have, and that was not listed on the menu. We got the gran parillada, which sounded great with a variety of meats, but was also bland, not a huge portion and they didn’t even give us the rice and beans with it. The carne asada was sad. It was a great cut of meat, but no flavor whatsoever. And a dollar more than the carne asada at Gloria’s, which is AMAZING. I don’t see how they expect to compete or stay open. Will never order from here again.

Note to management: train your staff to treat all customers the same. Do you charge for a very small salsa or no? It’s free with every order I’ve ever had. Does it depend on the daily mood of the staff or what? Today it did. According to him you now charge $1.50 for a small tin or about an ounce of salsa that’s normally unlimited and free for dine-in customers? And then $1.50 for an extra small bag of chips which in my experience was often waived for customers who order larger orders for their families to go like me. I can get the chips being an item to charge, but charging me for an extra bit of salsa is a food crime. Shame on you. Your staff made me feel if I was inconveniencing them with this today. I felt unwelcome and left with my order.. I am sitting here now at home with my takeout and no plastic ware or napkins even as I take time to write this cautionary tale. Enjoying every bit of my salsa. Consumers: Don’t ask for small tin of salsa here as it’s not free; (well if you’re me, then they’ll charge you as experienced today).

I ordered through Grub Hub. My order arrived cold. I didn't get the 35$ margaritas. I contacted crub hub who refunded the cost of margaritas. But I had to explain I tipped the driver 20%. So I had to demand a refund on the 7 dollar tip for the cost of the margaritas. I had to explain the math 4 times before they understood. I will not order from Grub Hub or Christine's again. The food was ice cold. Very disappointed.

We've been many times and always say ....why do we come back ? The service is terrible. The wait staff acts like they don't want to be there. The gal who gives you salsa and chips just slammed the salsa down and splattered everywhere as she just walked away. The food is great though. Not sure we will be back, sadly. If I could give zero stars I would. Thats how bad the service is. I have heard similar complaints. I hope they finally wake up and get better servers. This has been like this for 2 years now...and we usually go 2 x a month.

What happened Christina? Had to ask them to remake my mango margarita because there was very little mango. My friend’s looked and tasted as it should. Mine did not. The waiter asked if I’d like him to just add more mango. I actually had to tell him to remake it. My bowl of chips were almost all crumbs. My queso con carne was missing the carne. When I pointed this out, the waiter brought a side bowl of ground meat. I explained there was no way to mix the meat in with the cheese since the queso bowl was full of queso. I had to actually explain to him that he needed to take it to the kitchen and mix it up for me. Tableside guacamole was not prepared at the table. When I paid the bill, I paid in cash and told him to keep the change. He brought me the change anyway. And in case you are wondering…no, the waiter spoke perfect English. That was not the problem. It was the strangest experience. The staff was very friendly but the dining experience was a joke. It was so bad, it was almost funny; but no one is laughing. I went there to support local business but I don’t think I will be returning…

On a Friday night this place had few customers. It didn't take long to figure out why. They are courteous but they are agonizingly slow taking an order and serving it. It would be best to order secondary soda or drinks at the same time as the first or you will spend most of the night shaking your head.

We have been wanting to try this place for a while but never got around to it. Finally last night we had our shot, but boy was it a let down. We ordered the single chicken fajita platter to share and the wife got the tortilla soup. The fajitas looked like they came out from under a warming lamp, no color, and the onions and peppers were almost raw. The tortilla soup was luke warm and had a big glob of cold cheese in it. The sever who took our order took it and was never seen again, when we asked for the check no one could find her and it seemed like no one knew how to get us our bill, Finally someone came up and asked us what we needed in a "whatever" kind of attitude, gave us the bill and took off. WOW. Now the greeter on the other hand was kinda Jonny on the spot as I watched him going all over the place. Was really hoping to find a nice local restaurant for Mexican food... but guess will need to keep looking. I mean Rose's fajitas are a 100 times better than what we had here, and that's not saying much 🤭 maybe it was just a bad night?

UPDATE: Went to get a "to go" order of 2 orders of fajitas on Mothers Day, there were only 4 tables with customers (first red flag). I tipped the bartender $5.00 to hand me my bag. Total Ticket was over $50! OMG. Got home, they did not send any tortillas for my 2 orders of $50 fajitas. Called the location and talked to the manager who arrogantly said "I am sorry". I replied not as sorry as my wife and me. He said I could come and get the tortilla's. I replied and let my food sit for 25 minutes and get cold. He just sat there silent. The competence of a manager and staff, who has 4 tables and a to go order to handle and Fails at it, is the appitomy76 of failure in my eye's. Enjoy my $50, it is the last you will get from me. And by the looks of your parking lot, you can't afford to lose any customers. There are 6, much better Mexican restaurants' within 2 miles! ORIGINAL POST (I Should have learned my lesson) I've been to Christina on 544 2 times. 1st time I got fajitas that seemed like they were cooked in a microwave, they were not steaming or grilled or anything. Awful. The 2nd time I ordered something different when the plate come out the enchiladas had already started to harden, before I received them they were cold. Both times they were not busy. Do not understand why I'm getting cold food there.

Wow, what happened, Christina’s? We have been in many times, but it had been a number of months since our last visit. The waiter said our chips and salsa would be arriving shortly and after 10 minutes I had to tell the waiter to please bring us chips and salsa- something that we are accustomed to having served to us almost immediately once we sit down to our table. my son said his beef enchiladas tasted like fast food. The corn tortillas were chewy. my shrimp enchiladas that the waiter said were really good, were not, and the rice had no flavor. The worst part was the vegetables were completely over cooked and soggy. I could not believe they served those to me. I have enjoyed having a local restaurant, but we will not be back to Christina‘s.

Went there for dinner a friend of mine and my Grandson. They brought chips and salsa pretty quick but no one ever came by to get us drinks or take our order. After about 20 min or so we got up and left. There was hardly anyone there They were not busy at all Guess they didn't like the way we looked. I will never go back! I truly felt like I was not welcome This was the second time I've been there the first time was better not great but the service was better the first time. Seemed that a lot of the staff was just sitting around

To say the least, the lemon water was the best thing ordered here.. food is absolutely repulsive. My entire order was cold, I couldn’t eat half of it due to an excessive amount of grease soaking it as well as a pool of grease in the container. I have nothing good to say about the food quality and would genuinely rather have Taco Bell than Christina’s again :) insane prices for a bottom of the barrel “Fine Mexican Restaurant”. Despite previous good reviews, they should be disregarded.

The food was cold. My friend sent hers back and it was obvious no effort was made to return a delicious hot plate of food. You can't imagine the disappointment of asking a waitress for hot tea and she stares at you like a deer in headlights. If you don't serve tea, no problema. We speak Spanish though not fluently, but even getting a cup of hot water was a challenge ... Another blank stare. So I asked for coffee which was awful! It was cold. While I think she was trying to provide friendly customer service, she was like a little nat. She must have came to our table every 5 minutes which after delivering cold food and not being able to correct the matter was nothing but annoying. For the $70-plus that I spent for myself and my daughter, I was embarrassed for her and the two friends that we invited who also spent money on food that wasn't any better than a Banquet T.V. dinner and flat margaritas. I won't visit again.
