I am a regular at this sonic, and I always am given my food by one young lady named Karla. She is the absolute sweetest thing and I have started looking forward to my conversations with her during my daily sweet tea. Great job for training these young kids. (Great sweet tea too)
I just left this location after we returned with a drink that wasn’t quite right. The server, a very professional young woman, took the drink back and went to investigate. She returned moments later with a new drink and thanked us - the Sprite syrup hose was disconnected, which is why my son’s Ocean water was off.
Food was amazing, of course! Got the chilli dog footlong, very nice. The slushy was delish. There was bird poop EVERYWHERE, though. Unappetizing. Took a hot minute for the food. The truck we were driving barely fit in the space, they could be bigger.
Took the person forever to come out to our car but once we placed our order it came out very quickly good food too. The order things outside were also pretty dirty.
First visit to this location. I was so disappointed when I got home from picking up my order and found there were NO tomatoes or onions on my cheeseburger and half of my onion rings (which I only order from Sonic) we're almost burnt . I will say my order was brought out promptly after arriving to pick it up. If this is usual for this location, I will be going elsewhere.
Review update; Today is April 10th and I've been here a few times since my first review from a couple months ago. It has been good since then. Today they are understaffed so the lanes are closed and only the drive thru is open. I would think if the manager called others to come in and work some would have. Regardless, the crew today was very friendly and served quickly. The food was pretty good. See pics. First Review: Went there about a week ago and ordered hash browns. While on the road the bag was opened and there were mozzarella sticks that were covered in fine baby hairs! Too far down the road to turn back to complain and get what was ordered, it got thrown away. Also ordered a Dr Pepper, but were given a Tea instead. Otherwise, the food is ok, service is ok, nothing exceptional or to brag about this location.
I like that I can order online but I don't like not seeing on the screen, if you got my "check in" notice. I waited for 15 minutes only to find out that someone already checked me off the list without delivering my order. We need to see the screen, at least at the bottom to know that we were checked it. And the status of our orders.
Waited over 40 minutes to get my food. Lady that brought my food had an attitude. Paid extra for lemonade and brought me Dr Pepper. To make it better all the burgers were burnt.
The guy screwed up my order from the beginning when I asked for combo number 5 and Large drink he said 3, I repeated 5 the food arrived with small drink so I told them and what they did? They went inside and brought me a Large cup with 80% and 20% Fanta, hilarious, right? So you can come and get this treatment if you want
Waiting for at least 10 mins for food. Then order was wrong. Opened up my onion rings and didn’t eat the ones I thought were going to break a tooth. One of the mozzarella sticks didn’t even have cheese inside. I ordered a 5 piece chicken strip meal and they gave me 3. Forgot to also give me the dipping sauces I ordered for both the mozzarella sticks and chicken strips. This place is so bad.
This sonic is terrible. Waited almost twenty minutes for a wrap and a drink. Finally had to call to find out where my order was. This is an issue every time at this location.
Sat at the drive through speaker over 10 minutes and no one took my order. There was only one car ahead of me and they were at the window.
Asked for the all American smasher meal received the wrong order or wrong.. burger had a sauce that I didn't like fries were half empty and cold.. should of checked before I left.. didn't till I got to work.. no dinner for me tonight..
I live in Murphy and this has to be the worst sonic I’ve ever been to my life every single time that you go you wait for an extremely long time for your food. For example, today I ordered an unsweet tea, a water and a sandwich. I waited for over 25 minutes for a sandwich and onion rings the onion rings were so burnt. I couldn’t eat them. An executive for 20 plus years I think the main problem is that there’s a lot of kids working and I don’t see any management. They need to hire somebody at this location to get this location in order. It should not take this long. To get fast food out and the order shouldn’t be wrong and burnt. Do you want to fix the problems? You need to produce quality food in a fast manner I don’t understand how it’s been over two years and the issue hasn’t been fixed every single time I’ve went to this location for the past You’ve had to wait for an extremely long time for food. I’m not the only one that thinks this I’ve went through many of the reviews and a lot of people feel the same way the owners of this location need to care more about what’s being produced there instead of the dollars that they’re bringing. You cannot stay that you care about your building if it’s been going on for over two years. Fire your GM find you a new one and fix the issue. This is ridiculous and by the way, pay your GM A decent amount of money if you want to get somebody who actually can fix this issue because there’s no way that sonic can be this bad.
Can’t rate food cus I never got any 😭 sat at a stall for a while, no answer, watched multiple people leave the drive thru… no answer on intercom as well. Not busy just people being slow I guess
It’s crazy that they are so slow because they are short staffed but they let an employee come in their pajamas to get drinks for them and their ride and then leave. How about you clock in and help them instead of being “that employee”.
Slowest sonic I've ever been to. There's only TWO PEOPLE here and I've been here for over 20 minutes. I press the red button and they took so long to answer I placed the order in the app by the time I got tired of waiting and they took an additional 15 for that order. 2 people here.
My drink straight up seltzer water. 2 soft pretzels with no cheese sauce. A cheese burger with no cheese and straws so short they dropped in the cup of the one drink they got right. DO BETTER!!!!
Ordered a strawberry cheesecake milkshake for my mother and it had an extremely sour taste like expired milk. Had us both gagging, so we threw it away.
This place needs better management. Sooo slow did a mobile order and took 20 minutes to receive 2 drinks. They didn't even apologize for the wait. FAITH was rude to us. They are not taking care of orders they are playing on their phones. I wont be coming back.
After waiting 30 min. for my order, I get 2 hour old onion rings... gross! 🤢 I asked for no mayo and no ketchup... guess what was on my sandwich. Kids meals are supposed to come with a drink... guess what was left out. I asked for sauce packets on the side ... guess what was left out. The Sonic in Lavon always gives me a mint with my order... guess what was left out.
We eat Sonic every day for lunch at work in Plano. Every day. Never, ever do we have a problem. Every. Single. Time. At this Sonic, it's not one or two things wrong, it's all of it. Missing flavorings, missing sauces, missing items, wrong flavorings, or just entirely the wrong order. Never again. I understand it's a franchise. Get it together.
I went thru the drive thru and the girl on the intercom was way too aggressive. I lasted 10 seconds at the window before I decided I was not gonna give this place my money. She has to work on her tone. Get serious guys. It's fast food. The interactions are quick. There's no reason to have a stank attitude for an interaction that takes less than a min. I simply drove off. No one has time for that type of energy. If it is an issue over lack of staffing (overworked, understaffed- hence, the attitude) the company should be on top of that. Learn to prioritize your employees. That's not fair to them either.
Took 20 minutes to get our food. The mozzarella sticks were stuck together and underdone. The carhop was extremely rude. We didn’t get any sauces or straws. When we asked for sauces she ran back inside grabbed sauces for us and another grab. She delivered sauces to the other car then immediately came to our car and said they were out of all sauces. We’ll never be back to this location.
Unfortunately I wanted to give them a chance after multiple times coming to this sonic but the services was horrible specially by the team lead or manger. Ugliest attitude, rude and disrespectful. Not letting anyone finishing their order and making faces while speaking to costumers. Waited 30 minutes for 2 kids ice cream and when I got them they were completely melted. So unprofessional behavior from manger and team. Mangers hair was down the whole time I don’t think that’s very clean.
