So excited to visit this exquisite restaurant located right there in Times Square the bluefin offers a unique experience in New York City wonderful hostess as soon as you enter the door. Shout out to our server Adrian, he made excellent recommendations. We had the pre fixe dinner options. He made sure everything was top-notch and the manager overseeing the whole operation was attentive to everything. The chef went above and beyond the food was amazing. The decor is fantastic. I’m extremely happy that we came here. I took some pictures of the food, you have to come enjoy.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An unforgettable lunch at Blue Fin NYC! We had an incredible lunch experience at Blue Fin in New York, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with warmth and attentiveness—special shoutout to our phenomenal server Mariae, who truly elevated the entire experience. Her thoughtful recommendations and intuitive service went above and beyond—she knew the menu inside and out and made our visit feel genuinely special. We started with the Bang Bang Rock Shrimp—crispy, perfectly seasoned, and addictively delicious. For sushi, we indulged in a lineup that was as visually stunning as it was flavorful and their presentation was spectacular. 🍣 Magic Dragon Roll – beautifully balanced and creative 🍣 Caterpillar Roll – fresh, creamy, and incredibly satisfying 🍣 Super Rainbow Roll – vibrant and full of variety in every bite 🍣 TS Roll – a standout with bold flavors and perfect texture To complement it all, we shared a chilled bottle of SB Whither Hills white wine, which paired wonderfully with the seafood and added a refreshing touch to our meal. Everything was presented beautifully, the ambiance was just right for a leisurely lunch, and the service from Mariae made it a truly memorable experience. We’ll absolutely be returning—and bringing friends with us next time. Highly recommend!

What a fantastic happy hour experience at Blue Fin inside the W Hotel Times Square! We were staying at the W and needed a quick, delicious bite before heading to musical theater, and they absolutely delivered. The food was incredible. We devoured the mini lobster rolls, perfectly steamed edamame, flavorful crab cake, and those truly memorable tuna poke tacos. For happy hour, head upstairs to the spacious and beautifully decorated bar, which I loved for its striking blue accents. A big shout-out to the amazing staff who made the experience even better! Blue Fin is a solid choice for a pre-theater meal. The seafood was fresh across the board, with particularly interesting sushi options that stood out. Oysters were excellent—briny and well-shucked—while the crab cakes were decent, though not especially memorable. Service was quick and attentive, perfect for a tight curtain call. The space is sleek, and the jellyfish-inspired lighting fixture adds a unique, modern vibe. Worth a stop if you’re in the area.

Visiting NYC for the first time and came across this seafood spot- and it did not disappoint. Sushi as well as the bread pudding we had for dessert were fantastic, and our server, Al, was super hospitable and kind! Shout-out <3 Would recommend this place if you're into seafood.

Blue Fin was just what we needed. This place is in the heart of Times Square and has some very good rolls and drinks. The ambiance is great for a tourist-zone restaurant. The sea bass bites were very good and the Broadway roll stole the show. Great drinks and although I wish ai could remember her name, our server was very accommodating and was excellent.

Solid three-course dinner, which ends at 8pm. The meal started with a fresh salad, followed by a perfectly seasoned filet mignon (didn't need to add salt) with nice grill marks, and finished with a fantastic bread pudding — easily the highlight of the night. I also tried the seabass, which was moist, buttery, and beautifully cooked. One hiccup: my shoes kept slipping on the floor, which made walking around a little uncomfortable. I ordered a wine I wasn’t a fan of, but the staff handled it graciously, replacing it with a Cakebread Chardonnay without hesitation. The server was professional, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Honestly, I was surprised the food was this good given the heavy tourist traffic in the area. Worth a stop if you’re nearby.

If you expect a high end sushi place it is not. Our server was nice and did a good job. The food tasted good, presentation was nice but my expectations were just too high. Sparkling water was served with ice (this is a first for me). There was no hot sake which is unusual for a sushi restaurant. We had bread but it didn't taste fresh. It took a long time to get dessert and a check. The bathroom decor was nice but looks like no one cleaned it for a whole day. It just overall there was not enough attention to details. I was not overwhelmed. Summary: sushi rolls are good. Decor of the restaurant is good. Overall an average sushi place with high (as expected for Manhattan) prices.

The reviews were good so I felt pretty comfortable. Ordered a nice bottle of Chardonnay (almost 100.00 bottle) it came slightly below room temp more along the line of Red Wine temp not high 40's to low 50's like it should be. Sent it back after tasting. Our apps and dinner came still no wine. I was completely through my dinner and my wife was almost done, before our server came by and offered another option. We just ordered a glass (it came at the appropriate temp). $100 person dinner with in-appropriate wine service after we were done is just not acceptable. The food was good not high end quality though. I also thought it was odd no-one from management came and said anything. Telling me I was crazy would be better than nothing! High Dollar/End New York City Restaurant this is not.

The two stars are for the service and the decor. Everything else was incredibly mediocre, especially for the insane prices. I’ve literally had better sushi at Grand Central Terminal and for a quarter of the price. Sushi was super small.
