Opiniones de Kuu New York
Ordered the Karrage Curry Rice with japanese fried chicken... simply the best japanese I've had in NY. This dish blew my mind. Amazing!
This Japanese cuisine was a culinary delight. So much so, we came two days in a row. Totally recommend the tuna tartare, karage chicken and of course the ramen bowls
We always love coming here and enjoying delicious ramen. The miso vegan ramen is to die for and we would love to try other varieties! Cozy atmosphere ❤️
Fantastic food, great ambiance. I throughly enjoyed the Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen and Chicken skewer, the broth was thick and bold full of flavor, the pork was sweet and salty and very tender, and the noodles were cooked to perfection. I would come here every day if I lived in New York.
I think I’ve found my new favorite ramen place. I always walk past this spot and there is a long line outside and now I understand why. I walked in alone at 6:30pm on a cold weekday and was easily able to be seated at the window. Atmosphere: The place is tiny, cozy and may be tight for larger groups but perfect for a solo or 2-3 people outing. It can get quite noisy but the menu is extensive and the server is doing his best to get to you and help you make a choice. Order: I had the Signature Triple Chicken Yuzu Ramen recommended by the server and it was very flavorful. Service: The service is quick, the quantity is more than enough and I will definitely be going back to try other items on the menu. It does close early and you will have to wait in line after 7pm.
🍜 Kuu Ramen — Comforting Japanese Ramen in the Heart of Wall Street Exploring the Wall Street and Financial District area is usually associated with skyscrapers, busy streets, and a fast-paced business atmosphere. However, during my walk around this historic part of New York City, I discovered Kuu Ramen, a cozy Japanese ramen spot that offers a comforting break from the city’s financial hustle. Kuu Ramen was created with the goal of bringing authentic Japanese ramen flavors to New York while maintaining simplicity and balance. Instead of focusing on trends, the restaurant emphasizes well-crafted broth, quality ingredients, and consistency. The name “Kuu” reflects a minimalist Japanese philosophy, which is clearly expressed in both the food and the calm, understated interior design. 📍 Location Kuu Ramen is located in the Wall Street / Financial District area of Lower Manhattan. This makes it an ideal dining option for office workers, locals, and travelers exploring landmarks such as Wall Street, Charging Bull, One World Trade Center, and Battery Park. Its location is convenient and easy to reach by subway, making it a perfect stop for lunch or dinner while sightseeing. 🍜 Popular Menu Items One of the most popular dishes at Kuu Ramen is the Tonkotsu Ramen, featuring a rich pork bone broth that is creamy, flavorful, and deeply satisfying without feeling overly heavy. The noodles are springy and pair well with tender slices of chashu pork. Another favorite is the Shoyu Ramen, which offers a lighter soy sauce–based broth with a clean and classic Japanese taste. For those who enjoy bold flavors, the Spicy Miso Ramen stands out with its slightly spicy, savory profile that adds warmth and depth. Many diners also order side dishes such as gyoza or karaage (Japanese fried chicken), which complement the ramen perfectly. ⏰ Opening Hours • Open daily • Generally from 11:00 AM to late evening Hours may vary, especially on weekends, so checking ahead is recommended. 💰 Price Range • Ramen bowls typically range from USD 15–20 • Side dishes are usually USD 6–10 Considering the quality and the prime Wall Street location, the pricing feels reasonable for New York City. 🏮 Atmosphere & Dining Experience The atmosphere at Kuu Ramen is relaxed and welcoming, offering a nice contrast to the busy surroundings of the Financial District. Whether you’re dining solo, taking a break from sightseeing, or meeting friends after work, the space feels comfortable and unpretentious. Service is efficient and friendly, making it a great spot even during a busy day. ✨ Final Thoughts Kuu Ramen is a hidden gem in the Wall Street area that delivers comforting Japanese flavors in a calm setting. It may not be flashy, but its well-balanced ramen and convenient location make it a place worth revisiting. If you’re exploring Lower Manhattan and craving a warm, satisfying meal, Kuu Ramen is definitely a spot to keep in mind.
My wife and I were just there for lunch today. There’s a line out the front 1:30pm on a Monday which’s saying something. It’s super warm inside which is awesome for a cold day like today. The service was top notch. I did not get the waiter’s name, but he’s super effective and tentative to us the whole time while taking care of the other customers. Took away empty plates refilled water glasses without us asking. It was great. The food was delicious too especially the beef don. The sesame sauce really elevated the flavor. It’s the first time I had a beef don with that flavor profile and I loved it. Overall, I would very much recommend this place.
Kuu Ramen absolutely deserves all five stars! The broth is rich, deep, and perfectly seasoned—comforting without being too salty. The noodles have that ideal springy chew, and every topping tastes fresh and intentional. The pork is melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the portions are generous without feeling heavy. The service is quick and friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy in that perfect ramen-shop way. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or sitting down for a warm, satisfying dinner, Kuu Ramen consistently delivers a fantastic experience. Highly recommend—you’ll want to come back! 🍜✨
If you're in the Financial District and craving ramen, you absolutely have to check out Kuu Ramen. It’s got a super satisfying menu, and the service is seriously top-notch. The food here is awesome. We tried two bowls and loved them both: the Beef Ramen was super rich and tasty, and the Spicy Miso Ramen had a nice, deep kick of heat that was just right. The best part? The portions are huge! They're so generous that you definitely get your money's worth and won't leave hungry. It’s seriously satisfying comfort food. You also have to talk about the people working there. The whole staff is amazingly friendly. They're welcoming and attentive, which just makes the whole lunch or dinner experience so much better and more relaxed. THis place is a total win in FiDi.
It’s safe to say, this is the best ramen shop i have been to. I got the tonkotsu ramen and it was amazing. The noodles were just the right portion. The gyoza was spicy but it wasn’t too spicy, which made it delicious😋😋. Not only was the food good, the service was too. The person serving us was rly kind when taking our order and constantly checked to see if we were ok!! Rly good ramen shop!
I’ve been coming here for over 5 years, and it’s truly become a tradition for me. This is hands-down my favorite spot for ramen. The food is always excellent, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and it has that cozy “tiny stop” charm that makes it special. Every visit feels just as satisfying as the first. If you love ramen, this place is an absolute must-go!
Probably one of the best ramen places we’ve ever been too. First time visiting New York City and we visited Kuu on the first night, we then returned on our last night to have a memorable final meal. The food is super tasty, the staff are extremely friendly and you are not left waiting for long at all. Highly recommend!
The store is quite small, so you might need to wait for your turn—but it’s definitely worth it. The food is absolutely delicious, and the drink I ordered (see attached photo) was just as satisfying. The staff are warm and welcoming, though the cozy space might make you feel a bit shy about staying too long. I just wish I had more time to sit back and truly enjoy my lunch.
This was one of the best ramen shops we've tried Manhattan. We absolutely loved everything and some of the innovations were really unique. I thought the half eggs were cooked perfectly, which to me is one of the most important parts of Ramen. I also really loved the sour peach drink and the pomegranate citrus
I had the curry ramen and it was really good. I was sad to discover that the naan chips were substituted with store bought crackers. The flavours were good and enjoyed in that cold day outside. There are a few more options I’d love to try in the future.
Kuu offers a delightful dining experience with a standout atmosphere. The ambiance is absolutely perfect - beautifully designed space that creates a warm and inviting environment. It's the kind of place where you immediately feel comfortable and want to settle in for the evening. The food is very good with well-prepared dishes that showcase quality ingredients. Everything we ordered was satisfying and flavorful, making for an enjoyable meal from start to finish. Service was attentive and professional. The staff was friendly and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. They were prompt with our orders and checked in at just the right moments. If you're looking for a restaurant with excellent vibes and consistently good food and service, Kuu is a great choice. The atmosphere alone makes it worth visiting, and the overall experience doesn't disappoint.
If you’re looking for authentic Japanese ramen, I would NOT recommend this place. Not worth the price. Service was quick but unwelcoming. The sesame ice-cream was good tho👍
