Opiniones de Mike's Bagels New York
Mike's Bagels is classic NYC bagel. Any kind if bagel you would want with an assortment of spreads. This was my go to morning breakfast for 4 years. Skip the Starbucks.
Best bagels in New York City. Best Bagels and Coffee as well. Mike is so Friendly no matter where you’re from. The Best !
Amazing bagels, sandwich and muffins. It is always a temptation when I go to work. Friendly, hard working and efficient staff, takes credit card.
Best bagel I've ever had! I've been counting the days for the last year until I'm back in NYC and Monday morning this is my first stop!
The bagels are great and the service is always fast, even when they’re busy. I love the strawberry cream cheese!
Right line to order, left to pay. Its actually insane how fast they finish people's orders. Toasted bagels are slightly chewy but still have a nice crunch. 9/10 bagels, 10/10 service
Love this spot. Im pretty picky about bagels so it took me some time to even patronize this place. Glad I did though. Theyre friendly; they move quickly in an attempt to accommodate ppl in a rush; and most of all, the bagels are delicious! Def recommend!
I just wanna know who Mike is ? CAUSE THE BAGELS HERE ?? FIRE EVERYTIME!!! Amazing staff ! Fav spot in the area.
They pass the bagel test: chewy, dense and nice big center hole. Good variety.
After trying all quick lunch places in the area, I would definitely vote for Mike's Bagels. They are very fast and the bagels taste great. Ask for the "toasted everything bagel" if you want the best option :-)
Freshest BEST bagels. Trust me get these you will thank me. They have the official NYC bagel down to an art. It's a magical experience.
Been coming here for as long as they have opened. Delicious bagels and coffee. Great service. What I would love is to see more varieties of bagels such as blueberry and French toast etc
Mike's is the quintessential New York City bagel joint. No frills, all flavor, and lightning fast. It's always packed during the morning rush and at lunch, which is why they've never added seating -- literally just a counter and a fridge to the side with juices and sodas. Typically, two delightfully hectic, unmarked lines form (order on the right, pay on the left), and the guys behind the counter have mastered the art of one-glove work (to allow for speed in prep and payment). The bagels are large and hearty, and I want one right now. Can't go wrong with the Whole Wheat Everything (or any of the other choices). Strong cream cheese choices -- personal favorites being the jalapeno and scallion schmears. The sandwiches are all excellent and a great value -- most are $6.45-6.95. The Bronx Bully, Chipotle Chicken & Gouda, and Fire & Ice are absolutely phe-nom nom-able. There's a reason I go to Mike's at least once a week -- it is easily the best quick lunch option in the area.
Although they have limited counter space to have your coffee & bagel, this is really a grab & go shop. Bagels are made right on the premises. You can't get any fresher.
Been coming here 10 years - Favorite bagel spot in the city. The guys at Mike's are the best!
The Best Bagels ever! Love the Jalapeño cream cheese 🥯 on everything bagel toasted 🎉
My favorite bagel place in all of Manhattan!. Great selection at reasonable prices. Love the Onion bagel.
Great variety of bagels and cream cheese flavors. Quality is fantastic. Grab and go.
Super quick service, gets every order right and just the way you want it- bagels tastes fresh every time! Coffee is simply delicious!!
Great place overall, Typically full in the AM, and Around lunch time.... considering the New York Presbyterian Hospital is right across the street.... A bit on the more costly side in comparison to other spots, But well worth it... the BLT is awesome.
Great bagels. Efficient service. A go to place if you’re near NY Presby at 168 and need something good to eat.
Fire bagels! We don't get this in LA. Staff was friendly and spoke Spanish. Coffee amd bagel was $6.
1) Great bagels at reasonable prices. 2) Kind and hardworking staffs. 3) Opens early. (5am) Perfect trinity to start your morning.
Great bagels, good service. Says a lot that they are next door to a major coffee chain and more people go to Mike's than the major chain. Try them for yourself.
Super underrated - one of the best bagels in the city. The scallion cream cheese is incredible but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Busy with hospital staff and students but the staff is always friendly and the service is always fast.
Mikes Bagels are legendary. The store opens up very early to make, what I say is the next Bagels in Northern Manhattan. Good selection and all sorts of cream cheese, salads and spreads. You can order your smoked salmon like the good ole days. Always fresh
Favorite bagel place in Manhattan. If you come first thing in the morning when they open you can get bagels "right out of the water!" So fresh and delicious! Best deal is to get the bakers dozen and a half pound/pound of cream cheese. Comes out to about $19 but you get 14 delicious bagels! Also their cream cheese is fresh made and delicious!
Love this place! Probably the best bagel spot this far north, and their delivery is super fast. Love the scallion cream cheese and the bagels are always so spongey! Their iced coffee is also so good!
Always a treat to get a bagel in the morning. Very fresh with delicious spreads which include cream cheese of many types. Vegetable, scallion, plain, salmon, etc. Sandwiches are also very good. They are generous with meat.... If you like my review, please click like.
A fabulous bagel shop. Mike's Bagel has a wide selection of bagels, spreads, and toppings. Mike's Bagels are fresh and flavorful. The countermen are Officiant and orchestrated. They work well together. Their goal is to get you in and out with your purchase in a short amount of time.
THE ORIGINAL. Accept no substitute. I love Mike’s and I always will. They have one of the best cream cheese selections I’ve seen and everyone working there is so nice. Extra props for staying open the entire pandemic so that hospital folks could get a hot and comforting snack. Mike’s.... we love you!
Mike's is the absolute best. All their bagels are made in-house and you can get a fresh one all day long. I love their spreads and sandwiches too. Best bagels uptown and it's not even close.
One of the last bagel shops in Manhattan making their own fresh and DELISH bagels on-site! The staff is awesome and whips out your order so fast
Amazing Bagels. The only problem we had was deciding whether to go sweet or savory! Service is polite and super fast, you can't go wrong getting a bagel here.
Loved the most subtle luxurious experience upon first crunchy toasted pumpernickel bite, the ethereal unctuous slather of lox spread generously seducing my every demanding taste bud throughout. At a very reasonable price, yes, that too🏁
Fresh bagels every time. Prices aren't that bad. They take cards with a minimum of $5, as well as cash. They do not make hot breakfast (such as bacon egg and cheese, etc). They serve sandwiches, coffee, tea, juice, soda, chips, muffins, danishes, and cater.
Hands down the best chicken salad EVERRRRRRR! A Washington Heights staple. Everything else is good at Mike's, bagels are perfect NYC style texture, taste, and smell. I'm picky when it comes to my tuna and chicken salads. Sometimes they're either too chunky, not enough mayo, just plain and tasteless, celery chunks are big and overpowering, or it looks not fresh. But, MIKE'S CHICKEN SALAD is absolutely perfect. I can easily eat it 3-4x week if my diet allowed lol. All the ingredient portions are balanced perfectly. How hard can a chicken salad be to make you ask? Well check out Mike's and find out for yourself.
Now that's a sandwich! First time I saw the pre made chicken said from outside the store looking finley cut and delicious. So I got a sandwich and I gotta say this is a good looking sandwich and it tastes even better than it looks. The chicken said was fresh the bacon was fully cooked and the croissant was flakey crispy. Not what I was expecting but I'm glad I did. Definitely will be my new lunch spot I definitely recommend
It's been a weekly destination for me for a couple of years now, always speedy service, generous cream cheese servings in all the good flavours, the bagels themselves are not the hugest but they are delicious and fresh. Don't bother with anywhere else nearby, just come here for your bagel needs!
While staying in the area we stopped in for some bagels. After picking up our order we were close to a block away when one of the employees ran us down to give us part of our order we forgotten to grab. That is some hospitality most businesses don’t offer! Oh, and the bagels were great!
Mike's Bagels is one of the best bagel shops in all of Manhattan -certainly upper Manhattan. Bagels are baked on-site. Staff is great. A morning that includes a toasted bagel from Mike's is a good morning! Prices keep going up, but for now, I still think they are worth it.
Great bagels. They didn't have eggs when we went (bird flu egg crisis). Very friendly staff. Take out only.
If you are looking for a good fast bagel this is the place. The selection is very good as far as Bagels go. Just barely enough drinks. It's clean and fast. There's an order line and a pay line they both go very fast if you know what's going on. I have been here a few times and it never disappoints and always hits the spot. This is probably the only thing that you can buy near the hospital as a quick meal under $5. I imagine that mornings might be very busy. But in the late morning and afternoon you will be in and out in less than five. I will be back again and again.
I love Mike’s Bagels. I exclusively order everything bagels with veggie cream cheese (and sometimes a slice of tomato) and they never disappoint. I’ve also had their tofu cream cheese which is also excellent. Their iced coffee is very strong so be careful, but it always hits the spot.
Really solid bagel place. Get an everything bagel with just butter it’s amazing
Most delicious bagels! We ordered one egg salad bagel, one smoked turkey and one white fish salad bagel. Both the bagels and the spreads were first class. Highly recommend!
Great place to order bagels with cream cheese or get some coffee and even order some fresh drinks. Since it’s next to the hospital, they deliver to the hospital. I was able to order bagels and lox, cold drinks, and hot coffee for the nurses at Columbia University hospital when my son was there and they all enjoyed it. Recommend them for sure.
Really good bagels The place was nice and organized, they have like 5 guys thar take your oder. The sand guy takes your oder, makes the bagels gets the coffee and get out paid and out the door. Very friendly people there and the bagels were delicious. My son really enjoy his sesame bagel with cream cheese.
Typical New York Bagel place with 8-9 of the typical bagels and spreads to go with them. They also offer sandwiches. Enjoyed their cinamon raisin bagel with strawberry spread. Located very close to MTA station for catching A Train. Aug 29, 2020: Two more photos from visit. They seem to be doing good business and you can pay by credit card on phone for contact-less pickup. Cinamon Raisin bagel with strawberry spread is still awesome!
The best egg salad on a poppy seed bagel you can get in Washington heights. The volume they put out (hospital foot traffic nearby) guarantees all their offerings are made fresh.
Insanely good but insanely expensive. I’d like to write more on the bagel but seems pointless as I’m never planning on purchasing a bagel that expensive in the future.
I asked for a lightly toasted everything bagel, with butter and bacon. This was $7. I’m like how much would it be with the egg and even cheese?? I will say they were generous with the bacon but the bagel was a little dry. The bacon was delicious and cooked to perfection.
This place is pretty good with very reasonable prices. Unfortunately they don't have eggs, so the idea of eating here for a nice breakfast bacon, egg, and cheese bagel isn't going to happen. Nice selection of bagels, but would like to see blueberry as an option too.
Their bagels with cream cheese or any other spread is very affordable (usually $3.50 or less). Another plus, they accept credit cards. I go here often as it's very close to the CUMC. What I recommend: Get their toasted egg bagels with green scallion cream cheese. It's delicious! What I'd avoid: PB and J bagel, unless you like crunchy peanut butter.
Mike's is great for a quick bite. There's just one checkout line and it gets confusing figuring out who has ordered and who is waiting to pay/receive their order. Prices are fair and the food is tasty, service could use some work, however. I'm a fan of their Walnut and Raisin cream cheese.
Very fast service. You gotta speak up and be quick cause the guys working are to busy they won’t pay attention they got my order wrong. Also the muffins aren’t good they are hard and smell weird.
Excellent bagel. I wouldn’t recommend the cappuccino though. The other coffee was fine.
I’m here after perusing nearby BO’s Bagels’ many pissed-off reviews about their service and wait time. I used to come to Mike’s once every 1-2 weeks as a grad student looking for some affordable grub. The workers were always friendly and efficient. Sure, I would have loved an even cheaper bagel, but alas, we are in Manhattan - even if it is uptown. The reviews that ask for things they don’t serve and then get mad, hilarious. May we all be so bold when it’s needed (and deserved) most.
Bagels themselves are good, but they don't serve eggs. Basically have to go with lox, cream cheese, butter, or jelly. Only bagel place around Washington Heights.
This place is decent and the only bagel shop in the area. If you get a fresh bagel, they’re pretty great but they don’t turn them over very quickly so it’s spotty. They’re no Absolute but a solid bagel joint in an otherwise pretty unimpressive block of NYC.
I go here a lot, and almost always order the same thing. Sadly my order has been incorrect a decent amount of times...would give a higher rating, but inconsistency hurts
Over priced and lightly toasted, avoid butter roll unless you like cold mountains of butter.
I asked for an everything bagel sandwich and the guy gave me a keiser roll. I'm on my way to the airport. I can't turn back - I wanted my everything bagel!! Make sure the guy listens and understands what you want. They have a sense of urgency to be standing next to the toaster idle 🙄
I used to go often and recently went back. The quality of the bagels has definitely gone down. I feel awful because the cream cheese is good, and they put plenty of it. But the taste and texture of the actual bagel blah now. It was pretty and was the best in the area. Now I have to trek to Bo's Bagels. Those are awesome.
Ordered delivery, one of the items was a bacon with cream cheese. Taste would be on point if I got more than 1 slice of bacon
The bagels are pretty tasty but no matter how many years or times you shop with them they won’t remember your order. They’ll treat you like a stranger everytime.
Have tried this place many times and every time leave disappointed. Bagels are very dry and stale compared to other great bagel places in the city. Shame there aren't better bagels in the heights
What type of bagel shop doesn't do breakfast sandwiches. No Taylor ham, no sausage, no eggs. 8.50 for 1/8th of a pound of coldcuts on a supermarket quality bagel. Drinks in the fridge were warm. Bagels were rubber. I get why they push toasting so hard. A good bagel never needs to be toasted. Dont get the positive reviews. Maybe paid for with free bagels for "influencers" but if it lived up to anywhere near them I'd happily leave a positive review. Gets one more star for quick service but that's the highlight.
It is quite disappointing that I will no longer be visiting Mike's bagel. My order is consistently the same: a well-toasted bagel with butter. Yet, they always manage to get it wrong. For the $2.18 per bagel with butter, one would expect to enjoy it rather than feel let down consistently.
Expressly ask for a bagel with cream and jelly. Place was not crowded. They charged me 50 cents extra for the jelly. Got no jelly. Be careful that you get what you order.
7 dollars for a bagel...5 of that is for the cream cheese. are they out of their mind. there better be a piece of gold in that bagel. I've paid less for colposcopies. this is why the free market is a Godsend.
I order a everything bagel with cream cheese for a co-worker and for myself an egg bagel with veggie cream cheese and an add on of bacon. The bagels were small and tough. I asked for them to be toasted , they over toasted them and what's worse they toasted them on both sides. My veggie cream cheese had either ground or minced to death veggies inside it so much so it turned the cream cheese a weird green color. I requested an add on of bacon, I got bacon bits ( $ 4.95 ) I would NOT order from them again
In customer service all it takes is one bad experience to never receive business again… just as good as any deli in the area, no BEC, kid gave me an attitude and threw his hands up when I asked for something else, next time I’ll go to Starbucks next door for better service
The guy that takes order over the phone don’t understand English right and took my order wrong I’m disappointed and angry that he got my order wrong this place needs better customer service
Well our church order some bagels from there to pick up by 8:00 am and Al the bagels was like they was baked like the day before or worse! Very bad experience was our first and last order from Mike’s Bagels unfortunately because they are very close. And when I called to them the person who answered the phone hand up the phone on me and I called again and his excuse was that maybe we didn’t pick up in on time and the bagels were so long in the Bags that’s was their excuse and he said was very busy with customers but we was customer too right? But anyway he said if I want to call again Monday if I want to talk to the manager because he wasn’t there and again he hand up the phone on me again.
Taste and texture indistinguishable from Thomas’ bagels. I was surprised given all the positive reviews. These bagels were either made 2 days ago or came from a plastic bag.
First they didn’t send my full order, was missing my drink - but most importantly the bagels tasted like it was made with stale dirty water and was really off - feel sick 🤢 and will never order from this place again, horrible experience please stay away and safe
Online it says opens at 6am. O went to the store this morning. The workers are still getting ready and the coffee is not made. I was standing at door and a worker says to other workers NO Puerta... but I don't speak Spanish so I don't understand. I had to leave at that point. On the upscale when they are ready for work they serve the best BLT 🥪 sandwich. The food here is fantastic. And when they are on service the workers are polite and friendly. All I ask os theu keep up with the time that it opens.6am. This place is however the best bagel spot that's uptown on Broadway. I have to give then the credit on this.
I can’t fathom a bagel store that doesn’t make a BEC. Why are you in NY? Cream cheese isn’t the only option? Nor is butter. The bagel was dry on a Sunday… excepted much better… Gave the rest to a homeless man, we don’t throw away food.
I got a cinnamon rasian bagel and I just got it with cream cheese and jelly it was digusting I feel sick the whole bagel taste like straight nyc tap water literally I didn’t know something could have no taste but the taste of tap water no jelly or cream cheeses taste no raisins bagel taste just straight tap water
I’m honestly shocked at the quality of the bagel I ordered here. It was a simple order — a plain bagel, toasted with cream cheese — but it tasted like it had been sitting out for at least two days. Even after being toasted, the bagel was still hard and unpleasant to eat. I’ve been to many bagel shops throughout Westchester County and New York City, and I’ve never had such a disappointing experience. The consistency and freshness here are seriously lacking. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent bagel.
I’ve been coming here for YEARS because of how good the bagels are, truly amazing. I have made the choice to stop coming to this shop unfortunately because of the costumer service. I feel like the workers make fun of me after I order, and I get bad vibes. Truly saddened by the recent treatment I’ve received in a place I’ve been a costumer for years at.
