Truly an amazing pasta spot! Ordered the cacio e pepe and it was out of this world. Pasta was perfectly al dente and sauce was creamy but not too rich. Owner came by to check on us and was very kind!

Maestro Pasta is everything you hope a classic New York Italian restaurant will be. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service is attentive without ever feeling rushed. The pasta is exceptional, made fresh in plain sight, clearly made with care and respect for tradition. Every dish we tried was perfectly balanced, rich in flavor, and thoughtfully prepared. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the pride that goes into the kitchen. I highly recommend the polenta fries to start! It’s the kind of place that reminds you why Italian food done the right way never goes out of style. What a great spot!! My wife and I often enjoy trying new (to us) pasta spots and this one has probably been the best so far. I had the Pasticciata and Lasagna, for which the Pasticciata gets the spotlight, it is creamy and very flavorful, it was so good I barely took breaths between each bite. My wife had the Cacio e Pepe and burrata salad, the Cacio e Pepe was also very very good, it may have a slight upper hand over everything else we ordered, great taste, creamy and overall just incredible. Most definitely will be returning and recommend you give it a try!

Maestro Pasta in New York is pure magic — a slice of Italy right in the heart of the city! The hospitality is warm, genuine, and makes you feel instantly at home. And the food? Absolutely phenomenal — come a casa. It was so irresistible that I went back four times in just one week! This place is a must-visit for anyone who loves Italian cuisine.

I just had a fantastic dining experience with my husband and our adult daughter at Maestro! Alessandro and his team are terrific - they all made us feel so welcome. The food is delicious - we could see our pastas cut just before serving (which is special and unique) and exactly as we requested. The portions are generous and the wines were great. The atmosphere is great - beautifully decorated with an energetic feel yet still easy to talk and hear just our table. We loved Maestro so much that we are now planning some private parties there. Maestro Pasta is a true gem!

We were in New York for two days and decided to visit this restaurant. Everything was very delicious. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the service was excellent. Even though we were a large group, everything was well organized and attentive. The owner personally took great care of us, which made the whole experience feel warm and welcoming, like home. We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back.

My son and I walked into Maestro Pasta for a quick bite with no expectations and we were very pleasantly surprised when we were promptly seated at the bar and taken care of in a warm friendly atmosphere like we eat there every night. The surprise of this restaurant is that it is in a very touristy neighborhood, yet it has the feeling like a restaurant you could eat at regularly and always be satisfied/delighted with your food. We had such a nice experience. The menu was full of pleasant surprises and yummy choices. The service was friendly, available, pleasant, and proud of the beautiful food that they were making and serving. I look forward to going back and taking my GF, starting with the artichoke appetizer as a nice prelude to the homemade pasta.

Exactly one year overdue for this 5-star review… I was visiting NYC on a girls trip and, during a very busy Saturday night here, I realized I’d lost a bracelet… the most precious piece of jewelry I own. I was totally devastated, searching the floor, asking the bouncer and bartender every few minutes if anyone had turned it in. After accepting defeat, but before leaving, I scribbled my contact info and a quick drawing of the bracelet on a scrap of receipt paper, hoping for a miracle but knew it was a total shot in the dark. Looking for a small tiny bracelet in a big bar in NYC had the likelihood of finding a needle in a haystack. Even if someone found it, would they even turn it in? At 3:47 AM, I got a text from manager Jordan saying they’d found my bracelet while cleaning. Like… an actual NYC miracle! I went back the next day, and the bartender on duty returned it with a smile and refused the cash reward I’d offered. Shoutout to Jordan and the Off the Wagon team….totally honest, kind, incredible humans. They turned what felt like a lost cause into a story I’ll never forget. Faith in humanity (and NYC nightlife) fully restored!!!!!🙌💛

Went on a Wednesday night to watch the Knicks playoff game. I had the Burger and a Side of French Fries. The burger is juicy, lots of flavor, and the fries were crispy. Many TVs to watch Sports. There was Hockey, Basketball, and other sports on. Drinks are around $10 (decently priced for the area) staff is friendly.

If Chelsea is there, expect the best time. Had the burger and salad and both were excellent. Their happy hour deals will make you stay too long, but in a good way. I will be coming back.

Amazing spot to watch sports and grub on some good bar food. This place also gets rowdy late night with a lively crowd. I came in to watch some college football the other day and ordered some chipotle bbq wings and fried pickles. The wings were delicious and they have 8 flavors to choose from. Fried pickles were amazing too. They have plenty of TVs and a bunch of local beer on tap. There’s an upstairs as well so plenty of room for games and late night dancing.

Visited this place for the first time with my friends and my gosh we had such a fun experience! The staff was incredible. We were a big group and sat upstairs and the bartender up there was just the nicest guy and incredibly fun. The food offered here is amazing!! The best thing on the menu in my opinion was the empanadas (chicken was my favorite) and the tater tots!! Just an overall amazing experience and will definitely be coming back here again!

Haven't been here in over 15 years. Saw I was in the area for set and I had to stop by. The little bit of time I got to spend here certainly brought back the old memories of dropping shots into beers back in the day. The setup has certainly been updated, and the many TV screens really make sure that you see the game from anywhere. I ordered the sliders and they were very good and the onions really gave them a nice flavor. Ryan the bartender was funny, attentive and brought a lot of personality to the spot. I would recommend a visit from anyone. ♨️💯☺️

Very cozy and relaxed bar with beer pong and lots of other games. Drinks are priced reasonably and they definitely tasted right. Perfect spot to hang out with your friends and watch sports on the screens.

We were hungry and thirsty while walking down this street, and decided to eat here. Definitely worth it. They hand made their pasta in front of our eyes, and the sauces were creamy, flavorful, and great portions as well. The place is small, but looked like you stepped into a little bit of Italy. Waiters were incredibly friendly and nice, and served with efficiency. Would come here again, definitely worth it.

Fried Artichoke hearts was a great starter and the garlic aioli was great. Tiramisu was surprisingly dry but not the worst, not enough coffee flavor. Tartufo with fettuccine was the best pasta dish, Anolini Pasticciati filling was flavorless but the sauce was good. Tartufo focaccia was super filling and tasted great but it was really heavy, I didn’t expect so much cheese and sauce. Atmosphere was amazing, food was good, service was all right.

Maestro Pasta is such a cute place. Very small with moderately limited seating, but I was able to walk right in and get a table for 2 at 7pm on a Saturday with no wait. It was so neat to see the pasta being made right in front of you, and the atmosphere is so great. The service was amazing, VERY quick to deliver the meal and drinks, and very friendly. I got an espresso martini which was very delicious (just note, it is more on the expensive side, almost the same price as my meal) but it was amazing. Unfortunately, I felt like my food (Bolognese with fettuccine noodles) was lacking. The portion size was great, definitely MORE than enough food for me (enough for 2 meals), but the taste was not was I was expecting. It was quite bland and underwhelming compared to the environment. Overall, this was a good place to visit and I had a good experience, I just wish my food was a bit more flavorful.

It was a very active place, just wasn't my vibe. The noise level was so high that I couldn't here my friends speak next to me. People kept bumping into us at our table. There were more than enough big screen TVs to watch the games (one kept glitching and blacking out though) The bartenders were excellent. If I was in a different space I would have enjoyed my time more.

When I first turned 21, this used to be my favorite spot! Definitely a college bar, located right next to NYU, you get a bunch of freshly 21 and older college students spending their weekends here getting drunk, or going with friends to dance! Food is nothing special. And it does get very crowded in here. Had a small misunderstanding with a lady that was standing in line outside. After going in I found out the lady was a bartender. She literally went out of her way to tell the bouncer to kick me out of the place. And the bouncer did. Made me look terrible in-front of friends. Hopefully the owner reads some of these 1 star reviews. They’re adding up quickly. Maybe it’s time to make some changes. But I’ll never go here again.

I asked to use the bathroom. I’m a uber / Lyft driver…… said I gotta buy something and show ID. Terrible. Came here for years used to have a cellphone store on kings highway and w5 called top notch wireless and used to deal with one of the owners. Bouncer really needs an attitude check and/or career change. Needlessly rude and sighs before not even looking at my ID- just points the scanner at it (doesn’t even scan it) and lets me in. Have been a direct witness to him denying customers and overheard him displaying no understanding of NYC law and his own employers standards regarding identification. Will not be a patron again until I see a different bouncer sitting at the door.

Do NOT play darts here, the bartender will definitely let you know that is NOT okay to play darts in the bar with a dart board. Please do NOT interrupt her conversation with a drunk guy to return the darts and get your id back. If you want to have an attitude for the entirety of the 45 minutes you stop by, this is definitely the place to be. If you want to have a good time there are plenty of other bars in the area. Overall, you’re better off getting a beer and drinking it at home. Meh is the best I’d have to say about this place, and it’s probably an awesome bar but a shitty bartender makes it a shitty bar. Have a good one. Bouncer was cool tho 👍
