Opiniones de Slice New York
Was really good pizza, can beat pricing. There crust was nice and crispy on every bite. Toppings are average to other pizzerias but slices are big.
Sorry, no pics but the pizza was fsntastic. Genuine NY style slices, cooked to perfection with excellent sauce and toppings!
Some of the best pizza I've ever had! I've come here for years. The thin crust is a joy to eat! And anything with basil on it is da kine.
As a New Yorker myself. This pizza tastes like the real deal but it's way smaller than traditional NY pizza slice and way more expensive!! But very tasty after it eventually cools down safe enough to eat.....You must ask "not to hot" or you will burn your mouth.
All I can say is wow, this is great NY style pizza. It's only a short 40 minute drive. I'll be back tomorrow for a full pie. Keep up the good work!
Best pizza in town! If you like thin crust and MY style Pizza you will love this place
Great tasting pizza. Their two slice special is a good value. Tables are limited, but the beach is a short walk away.
Called in order and was ready upon arrival. Being from NYC, I can say I was pleased with the pizza and seasoning. I liked that this was close to the Navy Station Seal Beach.
I'm not from New York but I'm pretty sure this little gem with a humble gentleman named Tony is awesome. Great tasting pizza.
Enjoyed the special here after spending the day at the pier/beach. It’s within walking distance, so that’s a plus! Everything made by hand and cooked to order. Would go back again!
This place is fantastic. You don’t come across authentic NY pizza easily around here, but this place got it.
This was a good experience. Seal Beach was very busy with the car show, but Slice of New York Pizza kept up with the demand. The pizza was good, hot, and inexpensive. The staff was friendly and helpful. It's a small place, and you might walk by it in search of something more fancy, but you should definitely try it out.
I am from the East Coast and have really missed NY style pizza since moving to So Cal. This is one of the few spots I'll actually get pizza from! Classic NY style - thin crust. They also have HUGE pizzas for a decent price.
Born and raised on the streets of Brooklyn. This is the only place that comes close to authentic NYC pizza. Z Pizza moved in next door and I thought they were threatening this little store but no they beat the giant! This is the perfect spot to bring a casual date to after a day at the beach or shops, pick up a quick slice and go!
The best pizza in town. Light crust and flavors so good. When I went to New York last year, I had pizza from several places there. This place is still better in my opinion. Honest reviewer
I'm fairly picky with pizza since I'm originally from NY. That being said, Slice of New York comes really close to NY pizza. The bottom is crunchy not soggy like most other pizza places and you can buy by the slice which is nice. Definitely will be returning
I used to live in NYC and it does a great job mixing the city and beach vibes. The pizza is absolutely delicious and reminds me of NYC. I was in California for a week visiting my family and this was my kid's favorite place!
Always great pizza . Nice charm to the place . We live close by, and my wife loves the Pesto Pie , and Cesar Salad . 10/10 Don’t change a thing .
We went here while visiting the Long Beach area and we are so glad that we found them. It was amazing new york style pizza! Just as advertised!
The pizza was delicious, and the guys working were so friendly and nice. This place definitely reminds me of a pizza place in New York. The serve large, thin, floppy but crunchy crust. 🤌delicious!!!
I honestly don't like pizza. When I tried this pizza I was actually amazed that I liked it as much as I did. The workers are real nice and although the seating are is small they tend to get lots of business. There white pie pizza is amazing. I also love there margarita pizza.
Hole in the wall slice of pizza. Super tasty and quick, the garlic on the margarita was crushed with is not my fav but had a killer artichoke pesto tomato pizza slice.
Soooo glad we stopped in back in October 2023. Since then, we have ordered takeout at least once a week. Best pepperoni pizza, always perfect amount of sauce, cheese and pepperoni.
One of the best pizzas I've eaten in a long time at reasonable prices
Love this NY style pizza joint. It’s a staple we love to go to at least once a month!
Very good service and very tasty pizza cooked perfectly. Crust is thin, tasty and great toppings that you can pick or preselected menu.
Its so nice to have downtown Seal Beach to escape to during these crazy times, and Slice of New York Pizza consistently serves the best tasting slice, HANDS DOWN. We love making a trip just to grab a slice.
This place had great food. The pizza was off the charts. The day we picked to eat there was not so great. With New York Yankees pictures all over the walls and watching the Dodgers beat them, me being an ex Dodger bat girl, we were celebrating with other customers but felt bad.
One of the best pizza spots in the area!
Outstanding! I'm originally from the east coast. This is the closest to New York style I've had. The service is great. The guys are great. Very limited seating. They also offer pizza by the slice and other things. Our favorite pizza parlor. Short distance to the pier and many other shops nearby.
The absolute best pizza I have found since moving to Seal Beach. True test of a pizza is just a plain cheese pie and this place doesn’t disappoint! And add your favorite toppings and nothing can compare. The thin crust is perfect, just like New York, and the sauce is amazing. No greasy cheese sliding around on their pizza.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE and you can thank me later!
It is a must have when I go back home to visit, never disappoints ❤️❤️❤️
I smelled a delicious smell walking by, had to stop in and it was Amazing. So delicious.
My mom is from New York and she says best pizza she has had for a very long time. Lovely thin crust. Only thing we wanted was to see a picture of the BrooklynDodgers on the wall to add to the Yankees... Ha ha!
Even though I'm a chicago boy born and raised, I love me some NY style pizza, and Slice of New York Pizza is legit. Service is always friendly and efficient and the slices never disappoint. I especially love the NY sports memorabilia on the walls and they always have sports on the TV. My go to lunch/dinner spot whenever I go to Seal Beach!
Cute place great pizza! James provided us with excellent service. The pizzas were for a birthday party and everyone loved all of them!
Great little place in Seal Beach. 2 slices and a drink for $10 Very tasty pie and good variety as well. Great service from the crew. Nice to see them hand toss the dough.
No shade , but I haven’t tried any other pizza spot in seal beach but ny slice. You can buy by the slice. They always have different variety. They make the pizza fresh and the guys who work here are cool people. Great gem in SB. I always bring out of town friends here. You will be addicted to this pizza
We really miss this place! When we lived in SoCal, my wife would meet me in Seal Beach for lunch every week and we'd walk down to Slice of New York Pizza and get a slice of pizza. We'd then walk down to the pier and back down the other side of the street to the nursery and look at the plants, finishing up our time sitting and relaxing in the cool breeze under the huge trees next to the Greek food place. It was our idea of a relaxing lunch! It was a great place with great food and we have not found a place like it here in eastern Pennsylvania!
been eating here for a few years now and I always get the margarita pizza. quality is very good and consistent. iv never been disappointed! staff is very friendly too. my favorite local pizza shop.
Top 3 definitely for the so cal area. The pizza had a crunch when you take that first bite which definitely resembles that true NY slice. The undercarriage was also great which holds up the slice well and no need to fold it in half. Overall great!!!
There are 2 pizza places on main street seal beach. I'm going to tell you this is the only place you need to know! Their pizza is amazing! I recommend a Slice of New York to all my friends and people I run into. Normally I will grab a few slices and walk down main street to Clancy's or the Irisher and eat my awesome pizza and have some beer. I highly recommend this!
This pizza place is a must anytime I am in seal beach or HB. If you're into the thin crust pizza than this is the place for you. They have a very crispy yet tender pizza that just melts in your mouth! The cheese and dough are top notch! I would recommend this place to all the thin NY style fans. I recommend their margarita pizza and the classic pepperoni.
The best in all I have eaten. I love everything about this place. More than 5 stars!!!
Pizza was absolutely delicious priced fair and the service was excellent I got a large pepperoni to go about 7:20 pm on Thursday I paid with card and didn't have money to Tip next time I'll bring a tip the pizza was that freaking Good. The guys making this pizza are doing God's work. Also they were filming a clothing commercial when I went kinda cool to see the younger generation reaching for the stars all great things start in a pizza shop
As a born and bred New Yorker living in SoCal, it's been difficult for me to find a good slice of pizza that reminds me of home. A Slice of New York in Seal Beach has nailed it. The size is just right, great balance of sauce vs cheese, and the crust is the perfect thickness. My only issue which is easily alleviated is they tend to pull it out of the oven prematurely, which causes the slice to be limp. However, all you have to do is ask for it well-done or crispy so the dough isn't soft and boom, you got yourself the perfect slice of pizza that as the name implies tastes just like New York. I also very much appreciate the decor, although they need more Knicks stuff in my honest opinion! Great slice! Can't go wrong!
Been going to Slice of NY for years. Great pizza - can get a slice or a full pizza. Fun atmosphere. Their team is also the GOAT!! Always so friendly
As a local resident since childhood ,, if you don’t like this pizza joint,, then you will fail in life.
This pizza 🤤 probably the best pizza I’ve ever had which makes me so sad because I live clear in Utah! Staff were friendly and answered questions, it was super hot in there, we got ours to go but it was AMAZING! Get the White Pie, so so so good!
The staff were very friendly and very accommodating! Great place to stop for a quick slice or two for a great price! They also have gluten free options! Highly recommend!
I was walking by and I smelled the pizza so then I went in and bought one slice, but it was so damn good.I had to buy two more slices. Some of the best pizza around.. 9.8 out of 10
Great pizza!! This time we had the cheese and the Margherita. Excellent! Last time we had the one with artichoke and is excellent as well! Parking is a little challenging on a busy sunny Sunday, but it can be worse, we could be in Wisconsin 🤣
Great New York style pizza! So nice you can just get a slice also. Good prices
I used to come here as often as possible when I lived here. Now that I moved out of state, A Slice of New York Pizza is always at the top of the list of food I MUST have while I’m visiting. As someone who grew up in the NYC area, you’ve got my stamp of approval!
My favorite NY Pizza! So good! Always fresh! Staff are super nice and helpful. Limited seating but we seem to always get lucky.
Never had a slice of pizza from NY but either way this stuff was GOOD! My whole family enjoyed it very much. Small place. Good for take out or a quick bite to eat. Perfect for a delicious lunch while having a day at the beach.
The pizza here is surprisingly good — we shared a “white pie” and the “big apple deluxe”, both of which were delicious. I especially liked that the pizzas didn’t have too much cheese on them, so the crust was crispy and the flavor of the toppings came through nicely. The pizza here pleasantly surprised me and I would surely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick and satisfying meal in Seal Beach.
Can't beat pizza at the beach. The two slice combo will be perfect for lunch or just to snack on. They have many options for slices as well as ordering full pizza's. It gets busy in here and seating can be limited so I will call it in and pick up to avoid the crowds. The pier is close enough to sit and eat. The pizza is thin and crispy and the slices are of a good size. It's dry a local eating spot.
Slice of New York is the Best NY style pizza 🍕 in So Cal.... It's my go-to when I'm in the area. Or when we go camping at Bolsa Chica. They now have Gluten Free. Which my wife loves and enjoys. They have many fresh ingredients that you can't go wrong with. There lunch special is always a crowd pleaser.
I’ve been coming to Seal Beach for years and it’s become a tradition of mine to stop by for a slice and walk the pier! The crust is always super crunchy and yummy. I love buying pizza slices, especially because it’s easier to try out different variations that I normally wouldn’t get a whole pizza of. My friend and I got two slices, no drink and paid about $8. I think for the area and ambiance it’s a good price and it taste even better as you look at the ocean! I love this pizza and this will always be my go-to place whenever I’m here.
I liked the pizza. I can't tell you if it is comparable to NY pizza because I have never been to NY. It had a thin crust. And we bought an entire pie - not by the slice. So - by the slice - ymmv.
Amazing pizza and cal zones. simple toppings, BYOB. fair prices. awesome. only negative is that during the winter all the tables in the front of space freeze every time someone opens the door.
Food is good. Tried ther bbq chicken and their bbq sauce had just the right tang. You could taste all the chicken and onion. Thin light crisp crust. Place is decorated fun as well. Price is good.
I really liked the crispy thin crust on this pizza! They have a daily special, two slices of pizza and a drink for about $7! It's a great delicious deal if you're on a budget.
This "New York" Pizza's taste is close to it's name, but it's just short of the real NY pizza. It has a thin crust, lite sauce, right amount of cheese, and a perfect oil that drips off while you eat it. Some of the best I've had in California. Definitely the best in Seal Beach. I still believe it's the softness of NY water that makes it better. The price is reasonable for SoCal, but 3 times as much as slices in NY. You can still get a slice and soda for $1.50 there! I do wish they wouldn't use styrofoam cups. They're terrible for the environment. Also, Coke is way better than Pepsi!
Great slices. A bit expensive for the two slice combo but it is a beach location and I'm used to paying less Inland, so that comment with a grain of salt. Slice are relatively small compared to other NY style places. But they nailed the taste!
Pizza was great, enjoyed the how the crust was made and how crispy the pizza was. Would have given it 5 stars had the slice been a true NY slice size. Would eat here again and recommend stopping
The buffalo chicken pizza is the best. Not too spicy. They really know how to make a great pizza. The all day special is 2 slices and a drink for $7.50 total. Can't beat that. I would give this place a 5 if they cleaned up the place a bit. A bit run down, but I'm sure because it's been there forever. I would recommend an interior remodel that brightens up the place a bit. That's just my opinion thought. The service and food are great though.
Dough made in-house, by the slice or 2 sizes of whole pie. NY style thin crust. Delicious toppings, tasty marinara, reasonably priced, fountain drinks available, tasty spinach roll and other rolls made with their crust. Small location with limited indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly service.
Food is delicious! It's seriously the best pizza in Seal Beach. Just as the name says, these guys brought New York to us with their authentic pizza. Dining in is a little tough though; there's only 3 booths and 2 tables. I don't care though, I'd eat this pizza standing up if I had to! Eat here, you won't regret it!
This restaurant is a tiny place. Would be nice if they put extra tables and chairs for customers. The pizza is so delicious!!!! But they cut it into five slices. I wish they wd slice it into four. Tryin to save money for themselves? Dunno. Nice staff!
This place have really good pizza, but today I went when it was very busy so I got 1 slice that was luke warm, which still tasted great and my other 2 slices like 15 mins later. I will still continue to go here and I also recommend every pizza lover to try it.
This restaurant serves an average pizza. The crust is thin which is the only positive comment that I can make about the food. The pizza is greasy and the sauce not remarkable. A pizza at the beach is better than anywhere else so I get the high ratings. No bathroom and only place to wash my hands before eating was the sink in the kitchen. The staff was very friend so the atmosphere was good.
During the Halloween Event on Main Street, we were parched and needed to refuel. With strollers and wagons crowded around this small store front, we assumed we needed to get into the action. For $11.04 you can get any 2 slices of pizza with a regular fountain pop! Initially service seemed friendly, the space inside is small, with barely any seats not to mention the line running out the door. We were advised to wait outside as he’d get our order out to us. Well, after 20 minutes, the line cleared out with no pizza in hand. My husband went in and a casual “oh I couldn’t find you” was thrown out. Well, interestingly we were waiting right in front of the door, but sure. A gush of disappointment rushed through as we opened our box. The difference of the bakes between the 2 slices were obvious. The dough for 1 was just gooey, pesto tasted off, honestly just an overall average slice of pizza. The double or triple baked pepperoni slice we got did have a redeeming quality, the crisped up pepperoni chips were delightful. I’d pass on this spot.
Wanted to like this place but man just not good pizza. Something was really off with their crust, it didn't have the right texture, the sauce and cheese were mushy and the sausage toppling was like it came from a box. Didn't eat any more after the first slice.
Definitely wouldn't call this New York pizza. I didn't even finish the 5 dollar a slice pizza I had. I bit into the pizza and crunched down on something so hard I had to spit it out. Ended up spitting out some hard black chunks, not sure what it was.
They put the pizza in a front shelf like pies then they throw it in the oven to reheat it. The ranch wasn't that good either. Not a do over! This is why we don't like to try new. The worker was super nice!
My first time and probably my last. To start off I was born and raised in NYC. 30yr plus and tbh their pizza was ahh ok but I wouldn't call it NY style. It was thin crust but the flavor, texture, taste wasn't there. The cheese tasted cheap like those none name brand cheese you get at Walmart and I asked for chicken on the whole pie which probably wasn't the best idea. The chicken tasted like it sat for days in the fridge and was defrosted with hot water and thrown into the pizza pic. Chicken tasted something you get at a elementary school cafeteria. This is my honest opinion from a New Yorker perspective. I honestly wouldn't get my hopes up.
We ate here about a year ago. Omg it was one of the best pizza I had. Went back couple days ago and YUK, what happen? Only the crust was crispy the rest of the pizza was soggy! Bell peppers smelled weird, we were hungry so we ate it but after I wish I would have took it back. Oh well.
When we came in the place was completely empty and super hot and stuffy. There were flies all over the place, inside the case crawling on the pizza. When we sat down there were flies inside the cheese shakers, when I told the staff, they didn't even apologize, they just acted like that was totally normal and grabbed one from another table. Yeah, no thanks, I was gone, not coming back. I suggest you go to Z pizza two doors down instead.
In general love the place . They make great pizza however tonight went in to order a pizza and the guy making the pizza wasn’t wearing a mask. He had one but it was below his chin and his whole face was exposed as he assembled the pizza. The number of Covid cases are out of control locally Everyone really needs to wear a mask especially in food service .
