Opiniones de Sticky's New York
Some of the best Thai dumplings I tried. Came for the lunch special and it truly didn't disappoint
An unassuming little noodle bar. Great classic cocktails with an Asian twist. The food all slaps, upbeat music and super nice staff. Really chill place for a drink and a snack.
Spotted this on the map while looking for a dinner spot, and decided to give it a try after seeing so many positive reviews. Decently priced, has your typical Thai favorites (e.g., noodles and curries), and the cocktails are incredible. The lychee spritz and hibiscus mojito were a definite favorite of ours. Cute and cozy interior, perfect for a date night or girls dinner.
Was going to a restaurant nearby but after looking at the menu and interior decided to stop in here instead. Had the calamari - small portion but it was some of the best I've had. The breading was perfect and the squid was soft! Also had the drunken noodle, that was very flavorful. Really cute spot! Will return and would recommend!
Great food, fast service, and good portion sizes. The lychee passion fruit soda is delicious. The dinner combo is a great option and I really liked their chili garlic fries!!
Great atmosphere and superb staff. Our drinks were tasty and fresh! The food was amazing, best Pad Thai of my life with perfectly crisp Pork Belly. Definitely try the Larb fries, it was such a fun dish and the papaya salad was a great blend of fresh even in the dead of winter!
I got the quality and service I was looking for. Their staff showed technical skill while being personable. The food tastes exceptional and costs what it should. This spot never fails to impress me, and it'll impress you. This restaurant fills a local need.
Yesterday I was about to grab some fast food but decided I needed real comfort food instead — and I’m so glad I did. I stopped by Sticky Rice, and from start to finish, it was such a cozy experience (especially on a rainy day). I originally planned to just get the calamari, but let me tell you… it was the best calamari I’ve had in a long time — perfectly crunchy, flavorful, and cooked just right. My server was super kind and convinced me to try the basil fried rice with shrimp, and I was not disappointed. Every bite was amazing. The staff was so warm and welcoming, and the whole atmosphere just made me want to stay a little longer. Sticky Rice will definitely be seeing me again… and again… and again. 💕
Sticky Rice is such a great neighborhood spot! The food is bold, flavorful, and always hits the spot — the drunken noodles are perfectly spicy, the mango sticky rice is a must, and the wings are crazy good. Everything tastes fresh and comes out fast. The vibe is super chill with a little edge, and the staff are always friendly and fun. Great spot to grab dinner with friends and just enjoy good Thai food without the fuss. 🍜🔥🥭
great service, very kind and attentive, great lunch combo at $15 — we ordered at pad thai, curry noodles and a curry with some dumplings, fried calamari and chicken satay + banana jackfruit rolls for dessert. the strawberry lemonade was delicious too and overall the atmosphere is super nice and cosy (and cool bathroom)
We came here with a large group with my cousins upon the recommendation of a local shopkeeper. The place is very cute and not huge, and the decor is fun, with colorful lanterns and a beautiful painted wall. Their service is very good. They were friendly and filled our water attentively, and it was a bit humid, so they kept the door closed and kept the AC in the space. The food was fantastic! I really loved my dish, the salmon fried rice. It had large chunks of fried salmon. The papaya salad was delicious too, not too spicy and so flavorful. The Singapore noodles were delicious, but not what I was expecting. This is an egg noodle like fettuccine with soy sauce and oyster sauce. It tasted great, and I'd probably order it again, but just FYI it isn't a curry dish with Angel hair noodles! The curry fries were yummy but I'd probably not order it again, I would prefer to keep the curry sauce separate for dipping. Overall, 5 stars!
Our first time at Sticky Rice and overall, we had a great experience! We ordered - chicken fried rice 8/10 - thai dumplings 7/10 - chicken pad thai 8/10 - chicken satay 9/10. The sauce with the satay was veryyy good Service was great. We would definitely go back. Not the absolute best thai food we have had but it was definitely good.
Tried the fried rice with beef. The flavor of the rice was good, but it came with no vegetables at all, just rice, beef and a tiny bit of egg. The beef reminded me of high school steak and cheese beef (very thinly sliced and a bit tough). Overall it was OK and other dishes looked better. Also, the parking lot is very tight FYI.
ive been to sticky rice multiple times and have thoroughly enjoyed it. i went yesterday and had a horrible experience. first off we were not greeted and were left at our table for 30 minutes without putting in an order. it wasn’t that busy (thursday night). my girlfriend ordered fried rice and while eating it she discovered there were SHARDS OF GLASS in her meal. we showed the waiter and then 20 minutes later he brought over a new fried rice. when i received the check i assumed the fried rice would be comped due to the danger of the glass. i asked and he said “what do you mean, we gave you another one”, then i said it was pretty dangerous and he said ok i’ll give you 10% off. i received the check and there was only 10% off the fried rice ($1 and some change). i am extremely disappointed and will not be coming back.
Very basic, awful service, expensive for what they have to offer, bland food. We ordered “smashed cucumber salad”. It was under “Chef’s Special”, and paid for like $17!! It was literally few pieces of “sliced cucumbers” (not smashed), and tomatoes in some sort of vinegar dressing! Very basic and bland!
