Opiniones de Toad Hall New York
A classic SOHO staple with a legendary jukebox and perfect pool tables.
Had the best time here on Saturday night. Great pool table. Drinks a tad expensive, but hey, it's Soho. Female bartender with the curly hair was very attentive and friendly. Our whole group had fun.
Great Bar! Loved the atmosphere. Great Bartender. Hope I ever make it to go again. Felt like a traditional pub which Is love with great background music.
Tay is the bestest bartender ever!!! She’s funny, but I’m funnier!!!
Amazing neighborhood bar, feels awesome, like being surrounded by friends. The service is great
Met some nice people, quiet put and very down to earth atmosphere. Great little place 😀
First time here, I saw Joe LITERALLY give someone the shirt off his back. From then on, I was sold. Good Guinness double pour. Love too that they've got catskill lightning ball pilsner. A rare gem in this area. Fascinating patrons, had some fantastic conversations. Just get yourself in there, you won't be disappointed.
Lovely little old fashioned pub in Tribeca. Good selection of beers, good vibe, friendly staff and clean. Recommended
Fun little bar, good atmosphere and all the bartenders were great. Door man was no nonsense so leave your dumb antics on the street. Definitely worth the trip, would recommend for a couple drinks and chillin.
We've been in town for a couple of days having traveled from Chicago to attend the Grief and Grievance exhibition at the New Museum. We were told that Toad Hall was a great place for beers, conversation and music. Is it ever! Bartender and host Joe greeted us warmly, took our temperatures, and served up our first round along with chips, a tin of Vienna sausages and a Hostess cupcake. Who does that? Brilliant! We felt safe, very welcome, and near "normal." Thank you Joe and Toad Hall.
Fantastic vibe. Super friendly service (the bartender looked just like Charlotte Gainsbourg and we had a great laugh and conversation about Gainsbourg's acting career), classic cocktails made well, regular drink specials / happy hour specials, and a nice reprieve from the pretentious attitude of SoHo. Very much Brooklyn vibes and drinks are affordable and well made. Will definitely come back here again!
Toad Hall is a decent little dive bar in this neighborhood. The prices for drinks are totally fine, and the guests tend to be highly local. There's a quarters-operated pool table in the back, as well as a handful of lower tables for casual hangouts. Otherwise the bar is long and has lots of seating. It's a little dirty, but that's party of the dive bar charm.
true dive, sticky counters and all. bartender was nice. good place to grab a cheap pint to pregame before a night in SoHo
nice ipa but i waited 10 mins to be served despite no one was ordering, when I paid she took my 2 dollars change for “tips” without even asking.
Nice atmosphere except for the lady bartender with glasses who was unpleasant and made my partner and I feel unwelcome, and my beer was served with a piece of floating residue which I can only assume is the result of a dirty tap. Besides the unfriendly service, the other customers and a man, who I assumed is the owner, were kind and welcoming; I just wish the service had been more cordial.
I went for shots and they wrote their own tip on my receipt, without my consent. That’s awful!
Ahh, god does it feel good after these years to right the 1 star review for Toad Hall. A great bar that has decimated all of appeal in order to appeal to its new corporate patrons. The prices are incredibly expensive, even for New York City, but the real kicker is the $15 card minimum. Not at all single bar in New York have I experienced this! RIP.
I just wanted a beer outside in the terrasse , I enter the bar to ask of we can sit outside . No salutations from the absolutely not nice lady at the bar , and they have a terrasse but they dont serve drinks outside . thanks for nothing and for this bad energy
