Opiniones de Cassave Taqueria Oakland
Easily, my favorite place to swing by for a breakfast burrito after working out. Cassave is an unassuming place tucked away in a strip mall. They have a nice selection of Mexican and El Salvadorean foods like pupusas. Vegetarians have a couple of options to satiate themselves. Their potatoes are incredible, as is their hot salsa. Enjoy the breezy salsa music while you wait for your food. Highly recommended! Parking is an issue though.
The Mama Jacinta is a great breakfast with two eggs over easy, a cheese pupusa, plantain, rice ‘n beans, and the three sauces (green chili, crema, and red salsa). The folks are friendly and you can call in your order. You can also eat in. The restaurant is on a corner in a tiny strip mall.
A great hole in the wall type of restaurant, good food and good prices Lucked up and found this place on their “taco Thursday” great tacos for the low price of $2, my lady and I enjoyed them. will definitely be back we almost chose somewhere else for dinner but I’m so glad we didn’t
My go-to Mexican restaurant for Emeryville-Oakland border. Folks here are pleasant and the food they serve are delicious. If you want authentic food and authentic people, this is the spot. If you want gentrified Mexican food, head to the Public Market and pay almost twice as much. The dish I uploaded is the Mexico City's tacos.
The plates were delicious. They give a bowl of tortilla chips with your order and there is a small salsa bar.
Bomb most perfect shrimp and fish taco I've ever had. Bf had the asada super burrito said it was just how he likes it
It's called taqueria off 54th. I love this place .burrito and sauce sooo good

Awesome place to get a variety of food. Great veggie burrito, and papusas!
This restaurant that we almost missed I looked up on Google, Mexican restaurants. As we were coming from Oakland. I looked at restaurants it had given me and I had to pick one so i picked the closest one to our location as we driving. It turned out to be the best decision We enjoyed very much. Service was excellent the employees were the same, the food was very delicious. It was not what we expected it was better than expected. It was so good that we ended up going the next day. My wife Invited her friend telling her that she had to try the food. It was an all around great restaurants.
I always get the steak and prawn bowl with beans rice about cream and cheese because I'm simple like that which means picky. Prawns are big and seasoned so well. Always so tasty
Big fan, give it a chance you'll love the food and cozy vibe.
Cassave on San Pablo Ave is awesome. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming, and the food is seriously delicious. The pupusas are the star — perfectly stuffed, crispy on the outside, and so satisfying. Everything tastes fresh and made with care. Highly recommend if you’re craving comforting, flavorful food and great service in Oakland.
I was working in the area, found this spot. Excellent food. The best quesadilla I have ever had. Great tacos and burritos as well. Wonderful staff.

Little pricey but the burrito I ordered was amazing
Great stop for burrito. It will be nice if vegetables are cut into smaller pieces.

I recently dined at Cassave Restaurant, a charming hole-in-the-wall Mexican eatery in Emeryville. Despite its small size, it seems to be a popular spot for take-out comfort food. I tried the fish tacos and pupusas. The fish tacos were excellent, with fresh fish and ingredients that really stood out. The pupusas were authentically made, though I would have preferred a bit more stuffing. The zucchini pupusa was particularly flavorful compared to the plain cheese ones. The service was quick, and the owners were extremely friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. The only downside was the lack of spicier sauces, which I didn’t ask for but would have preferred. Overall, I would definitely visit again if I’m in the area.
They make a pretty good burrito. The ingredients are fresh and good quality. The self-serve salsa bar is off the hook. I love the hot salsas. I have yet to try the enchiladas or other dishes but I will soon.
Good & cheap.. I love the chicken soup from here & my husband always gets a super burrito. Staff is friendly & service is quick. It's a bit of a hole in the wall spot, but we like it.
Final found a place here in the East Bay, that had the type of torta I have been looking for. The pollo empanizado, a type of breaded chicken sandwich, I tried searching on Yelp for chicken milanesa torta and only other place I found that had it was Picante, but they charge $11+, and their tortas aren't a good as other Mexican places in my opinion. The pollo emanizado torta here is just like the ones I used to get in SF Mission district, and at a much more reasonable $9.
Solid food. I got the sopes but next time I'll order something else. Food came out quickly and was filling.

Chilaquiles we're a bit too soggy for my taste but I like the eggs, love thegenerous serving of cheese on top, and their red salsa is fairly good. Pupusas have the cheese skirt around some of it too

The food was bland and not edible for $31 do not get the pupusas, I most likely will never eat them again after my experience here. PS stop adding so much cheese to dishes it’s unnecessary. Thanks.
