BLTG was my go-to and their lattes hit the spot. Can't go wrong with their breakfast sandwiches either, the cooks are always on point. I liked to call ahead so I could just swoop in and get my food hot and fresh without a wait. The owner is a sweet person too. As a student at Laney I was somewhat of a regular and when I told Uncle I was moving away for school, he graciously made me a delicious mango smoothie on the house and wished me luck! Can't wait to make it back to the Town to visit this gem!

This is a pleasant, friendly oasis in the food desert that surrounds Laney College. I have been stopping by this place for their delicious coffee and excellent breakfast and lunch sandwiches since they opened about six years ago. They know my name and my "usual" coffee order. My favorite for breakfast is the BEST sandwich, one of their delicious breakfast delights with Bacon Egg (seasoned perfectly and scrambled fluffily) Swiss and Tomato. They also have vegetarian options. For lunch, I usually opt for the Chicken sandwich, with its delicious spread. Come here for the relaxing music, friendly neighborhood service, and great food.

Great local coffee shop that has amazing sandwiches, smoothies and coffee. This I the kind of place where you know the owner because he is always talking with the customers and being friendly. The barista is also extremely helpful and makes great coffee and chai lattes. I come in at least once a week w my pup and I'm never disappointed.

Great energy, I love the coffee and the sandwiches are good too. Not only running a business but you can tell the owner is invested in the community from the artwork, to the network posting near the sugar and cream. Walk into this ethio-jazz and leave with warm cup of coffee.

What a hidden gem! Really, I never would have looked twice from the outside but really wanted to grab a coffee. Boy, what a surprise... This place is nice and mellow with pretty good food and coffee. Excellent ambience and staff... I'm loving the music here today!

Lovely coffee shop, tasty breakfast sandwiches and delicious lunch sandwiches! Have come here several times before hopping on Amtrak (leave some buffer room, as sandwiches are made with love) and look forward to it every time.

My favorites are the drip coffee which are made with the Ethiopian coffee beans he also sells, and the Laney hot sandwich: a delicious turkey, spinach, egg, Swiss cheese on an English muffin. Consistently good food and great prices. Small drip coffee is $2.75! It’s a treat on the go or for a small stay time for me! Thanks Lane-E Kefa Coffee.

I ordered a delicious breakfast sandwich with egg, spinach (generous portion), and ooey gooey melted Swiss cheese on an English muffin. Folks here go above and beyond. I had my breakfast and coffee in the cafe. Friendly guy at the register made my coffee in a mug and brought to my table. When I asked for half and half he steamed a little and added to my drink. The person preparing the breakfast sandwiches to order also brought my sandwich to my table and was friendly. This is a great place to hang out alone or with others for coffee and/or breakfast. They have a lunch menu too, but I didn’t hang around long enough to try that menu.

Went in to grab some coffee and breakfast sandwich. The coffee was warm, not hot as it should. I ordered the egg,spinach & Swiss sandwich and I thought it took a while. The sandwich was underseasoned and lacked flavor overall. However it was fresh. The best part was the English muffin, it was nicely toasted and crispy on the outside. I generally avoid giving average reviews to local business but I was disappointed at this place given the fact it has high reviews! Probably it was just bad luck for me today.
