Great sandwiches. I love the new menu options. My partner got the traditional cheesesteak just as she likes it hoagie style and I tried the South Philly which has Marinara sauce with chicken. Sandwiches were perfect temperature, full a nicely chopped meat, melting cheese, and all the fixings including the best hot peppers. I've been going the Philly cheese steak shops with my parents since I was a kid, and this was one of the best I've had.

Got the Motown cheesesteak, meat cheese onion and mushrooms. Cheese melted perfectly but the meat didn’t really have any seasoning. Fries were cooked to perfection

I've never heard of this place, first time for me. I was in this area to get gas for my vehicle. I saw the Philly Steak sign which caught my eye. I was hungry and decided to give the place a try. I parked on the street, it is metered parking in this area. I walked into the store and went to the register. I was greeted by a tall fellow who was the grill person that cooked my food. A young lady attended me quickly, and at the time I was there, it was clean. I had the Motown Cheese Steak sandwich. It was very good. The peppers were nice and hot (spicy)! I'm looking forward to my next trip there and trying something else on the menu. I was pleasantly surprised.

Great hoagies in Oakland. Parking is a headache but it's best to order pickup to get I and out. Motown Philly with mushrooms is my favorite

I've never heard of this place, first time for me. I was in this area to get gas for my vehicle. I saw the Philly Steak sign which caught my eye. I was hungry and decided to give the place a try. Do not go here. I ordered five Kings and a large, they gave me six larges. I also ordered the homemade chips, and most of them were raw in the middle. The sandwiches were so oversized that they were dripping inside of the packaging. I had to take each of them out of their wrappers and put them in a tupperware so they wouldn't make a mess in my fridge. I would recommend going to any other cheese steak shop if you can.

Do not go here. I ordered five Kings and a large, they gave me six larges. I also ordered the homemade chips, and most of them were raw in the middle. Absolutely filthy. Flies everywhere and this is the part customers see. One can only imagine what it's like in the back. One worker told us to sit in front while he mopped the only small area that wasn't completely covered in filth leaving us to sit amongst the flies (we preordered and paid in advance or would've walked out and I wish we had anyway). Absolutely never again. No one should give this place business and a visit from the department of health is seriously overdue.

Usually don't do reviews, but I had to say something this time around. A ordered a big order a few weeks ago and it totaled about $116.36 including tip. Before buying the food when we were ordering on the phone we were put on hold twice and they hung up after calling again finally was able to order and we asked to put food in separate bag since it was a big order and each of us wanted ours separate. When we showed up to receive the food and after I paid the cashier he made a remark that I missed but my girlfriend and my friend made aware to me that the cashier (REYMOND) had said “oh you guys are the one with the complicated order” with an attitude and the workers in the back side eyeing us. I usually had good experience here but this one upset me especially that I tipped him unknowingly to his remark since we had such a big order on a late night and he still said what he said. That being said this guy either needs some respect lessons or another job if it is hard to put orders in separate bags and to have an attitude about it. Cudos to those who provide superb service. If you order here hope you don’t have (REYMOND) as your guy! Not so friendly.

I rarely go to this location for starters, but yesterday decided to. I ordered through DoorDash due to the weather and my cheesesteak came BURNT. No, not the bread the literal meat. I ordered chicken, but it was so burnt I thought I had made a mistake and ordered beef. It was so burnt it REEKED like burnt chicken. Disgusting. Will not be eating here ever again.

Love the The Cheese Steak Shop franchise but did not enjoy this location. Could barely hear the cashier when he was taking my order because he was talking too low and mumbling. He got a bit annoyed when I didn't understand what he was saying. He also got upset when I accidentally took the wrong tray of food, but he called my name and handed me the tray (there was another customer ahead of me with the same name and order as me). Easy mix up but wasn't handled well. Lastly, and probably most importantly, the bathroom floor was covered with sewage that was seeping underneath the door. The customer service stuff is frustrating but the sewage issue is just unacceptable for a restaurant.
