El desayuno en este lugar es muy sabroso, las porciones muy generosas y la atención muy buena. Las tetelas, el pan francés y el café buenísimos, recomiendo ampliamente. La terraza con la fuente y las plantitas ofrecen un espacio muy relajante.

Las croquetas de esquites IMPERDIBLES! En general todos los platillos con un sabor excelente. El pulque buenísimo, una lástima que no hubiera para todos - pero la limonada de frutos rojos también estaba deliciosa. Gran servicio, la chef increíblemente amable, hasta se tomó una foto con nosotros. Los meseros también muy al pendiente y explicándonos todo a detalle. Ya quiero volver por más croquetas 🤤

Carefully prepared, locally produced food in a relaxed, friendly restaurant and bar. The guacamole (con chapulines!) and the carnitas de pulpos were top-notch. Service was warm and attentive, and I will return here again to try some of the other dishes!

Came for brunch and loved it. Really great quality food, made with excellent, farm-grown produce. Portions are very generous, and even topping portions (e.g. strawberries for the pancakes) were more than I’ve ever seen anywhere else. We ended up having to take away a part of our order as it was a lot to have in one go. The outdoor patio is nice and calm, with a fountain adding to the serenity. Loved it!

A beautiful restaurant in Oaxaca’s centre. The food was delicious and so were the cocktails (I loved the oaxaquito and the mezcamoto). I shared the fish ceviche and the trilogia of quesadillas for starters, had the fettuccine with mushrooms and shrimps for a main (great smoky flavour). Unfortunately, I did not have dessert, as I was too full by that point!

This was a surprise to find the best tacos i had in the whole Oaxaca trip. We tried octopus and short rib tacos and they were juicy, they were delicious, they had the best spice level. And as a finisher churros are highly recommend!

The service was friendly and fast, and the food was great. Prices were reasonable too. We liked it so much we went back this morning to try breakfast and were equally pleased. Good coffee (americano)! The oatmeal was the prettiest I’ve ever eaten, and tasty too. My husband enjoyed his huevos rancheros. For dinner we had the trilogía quesadillas appetizer, fantastic, and split the carnita asada. Churro for desert was good, pretty presentation. Great cocktails, too. Very pleased

Popular for dinner but breakfast is just as good. Prices similar to other places but bigger portions, well cooked. Yogurt with fruit was ample, with seeds and toasted nuts and some chocolate cookie type sprinkles at the bottom. We also had ranchero eggs which came with beans, cheese, avocado etc. Waiters don't do English much but there is an English menu.

This place is our favourite restaurant in Oaxaca. We had brunch and dinner here. The food is phenomenal. We had several tasting menus in Oaxaca but this restaurant is definitely the best in town. Growing up in cities and had a lot of top Michelin stars restaurants. But honestly, this surprise found near our hotel is totally out of our expectations. The richness and depth in flavour is something that show the food cultures of Mexican food. The El Cuche and the tomato salad is a must try.

El lugar es bonito, buen ambiente, buenos precios y la comida esta bien. El servicio esta bien pero puede mejorar, se le preguntaba sobre algunos platillos y bebidas y tenian sus dudas. De ahi en fuera todo bien

En general es un buen lugar, fui a desayunar en fin de semana y prácticamente estaba vacío, algo que personalmente me agrada, encontré estacionamiento sobre la calle y bueno, el café estaba bien, así como la fruta, y aunque las tételas se veían riquísimas sin embargo tuve muchas dificultades para cortarlas, tuvimos que cambiar tres veces el cuchillo, supongo que algo ha de haber pasado con la masa. Fuera de eso todo bien.

Wonderful place to try mezcal drinks and recommendations. Their food it’s great also, you can try a variety of local dishes. Art is part of the atmosphere of the place too, with beautiful works on their walls and decor. The prices are great 👍🏻

Brunch in this place is very good and fulfilling. Service is very good, installations are clean, and the ambiance is nice. I just would improve the quality of the drinks, we ordered three mineral orangeades and none of them were gassy enough because they use liter bottles instead of a small 355ml one to keep it fresh. We really enjoyed the avocado egg toast and waffles. Thank you for everything!

Llegué a este lugar por la cercanía y las 4.5 estrellas en Google, 11:30 pedí un plato de fruta y no tenían fruta, pedí la tostada con higos y jamón serrano y tampoco tenía higo, me ofrecieron frutos en su lugar y acepté, pedí un late y cuando pedí azúcar me trajeron un tazoncito con el azúcar toda cuchareada por clientes anteriores y grumos de que se revuelve con el líquido de otras bebidas por higiene deberían dar sobres después pedí splenda porque esa si la tenían en sobre el pan quemado de abajo, el personal si fue amable

Buena comida, ameno, pero no especial. Probamos las patatas picantes y las esferas de queso de entrada, que fueron mis favoritas. Probamos el ceviche de pescado pero no lo recomiendo, los sabores no estaban balanceados y el pescado era escaso. Pedimos el taco de carnitas de pulpo, donde especificamos que la persona no comía cerdo, a lo que se ofrecieron a modificarlo pero no lo llevaron acorde. Probamos variedades de tacos que estaban buenos pero no memorables. De postre probamos las torrejas, pero nos decepcionaron; el helado de elote si estaba espectacular. El ambiente es agradable, relajado y ameno. El servicio es amable, sin embargo, es muy lento. No se si fue ese día, pero había un picor en el ambiente donde todos tociamos y tociamos. En general, creo que es un buen restaurante pero esperabamos mucho más por las recomendaciones. No estoy segura de regresar

Muy vacío el lugar y con razón. La carne de arrachera estaba muy dura, tanto que dolía la mandíbula masticar. Lo único bueno es la salsa de chile quemado que tienen, de ahí en fuera 0 recomendado y la bocina que tienen es molesta

The restaurant is incorrectly labeled in terms of pricing on Google — a budget of 200–300 MXN is not enough for a full meal. While the dishes are beautifully plated, the food is definitely overpriced for what you get. The staff is friendly and attentive, but it’s hard to justify paying 195 MXN for a single taco. It makes me wonder how locals can afford to dine at places like this regularly.

Was unimpressed by the tenderlove fries. I'm a fluent Spanish speaker but I'm white, so I was given a menu in English. Maybe there was a translation problem with the menu. Fries normally means that the potatoes are fried, what I received was still hard, boiled and quarterd potatoes. Mezcal drink was fine. Service was fine otherwise.

I was recommended by the boyfriend of the chef here; the boyfriend, Leyver, works for the Oaxaking food tours, and Omar (Oaxaking himself) in turn wrote the Eater 32 list (which is why you’re probably going). Omar was featured on some Netflix shows. I wanted to like the food here; I love the concept of using fresh and seasonal ingredients and the menu is reasonably priced for the Eater 32 list (as in, prices weren’t jacked up higher) But the food was…either flavorless or incredibly salty or bitter. There was nothing in between with complexity of flavors. I got the “creamy rice” dish with mushrooms and greens. There were pockets in here which had a ton of salt, but other pockets with none. The veggies and mushrooms were very bitter so there was no balance to flavor. They gave some tortilla chips to eat with this, which further neutralized the flavors. I got the catch of the day which was Mahi. The quinoa (orange) was completely tasteless. Two of vegetables were over salted while the green beans got no salt, and the fish was dry. Overall I loved the concept and price point but execution was inconsistent or lacking. I mentioned to the server when she asked how I was doing the food was off and she just left lol. Nice patio in the back!

I thought the experience here was underwhelming. I don’t think the food tasted as good as it looked - just kinda bland. I also thought the service was a little slow and lazy. I sat in the patio and I guess it was near the kitchen and was pretty smokey. Don’t think I’ll return here when Oaxaca has a ton of incredible restaurants to try.

Decent pancakes and cocktails. Nothing to be wowed about, but not bad either. The Croque Madame was the highlight of our visit here. It was delicious, full of egg and cheese goodness. If we ever decide to go back here, it'll be for only this. The Crème brûlée here was a big disappointment. It ended our visit on a sour note (pun intended). I don't know how they got it wrong, as everywhere I've had this dessert it's been made decently. If not for this, I'd have given it 1 more star in my review.

La comida estaba aceptable. El servicio dejó mucho que desear: extremadamente demorado y nos trajeron una ensalada y una cerveza distintas a las que habíamos pedido. Lo aceptamos para no demorar nuevamente. Los platos también demoraron y para peor llegaron fríos.

Para empezar el servicio no fue para nada bueno, al menos yo si note la diferencia entre un extranjero y un mexicano Notaba que atendían mucho mas rápido a ellos que a mi mesa cuando yo llegue y ordene antes. El café americano fue muy malo La comida si es rica, pero las porciones pequeñas Si eres mexicano probablemente te pregunten por reservacion. Considero que hay mejores lugares por el mismo rango de precio.

The most expensive, yet the most disappointing dining experience in Oaxaca. Ceviche De Pescado - the flavor was lime with little else. Papas Tendalove - undercooked quarters of potatoes. They were not sautéed or fried, just boiled (not for long enough tho). Tacos Bajaoax - very very bland. Barely felt the fish taste, it was full of carrots. Pesto pasta - okay, but bland and not worth the money. Day after eating here extreme gastrointestinal distress began… Service was fine, waiter was kind.

Eggs Benedict was ridiculous. Just a chef trying to be fancy. There was like 1/8th of a tablespoon of Hollandaise sauce swiped across the top of the egg. (The Hollandaise Sauce is the whole point of the dish) Also it was on, like a cinnamon roll or something which is a clashing flavor. I didn't even eat the bread. Then I ordered papas because there was a picture of crispy seasoned papas on Google. But mine were undercooked, not crispy at all and no flavor, it was like if you had boiled potatoes and sprinkled it with paprika, zero flavor except an unseasoned raw potato flavor (I couldn't eat those either). Hire someone who knows how to cook to come up with a new menu. I told a local about it and they said yeah, people know their food is not good. Really annoying to spend $15 on garbage. I went and ate breakfast again at a different restaurant after that because I was so pissed off. Learn how to make food that tastes good if you're going to charge people money for it. I guarantee this star rating is massively overrated. Haven't had such a disappointing experience in a while.
