Ameno y relajado Apenas llegas te reciben con cordialidad, el servicio es excelente solo que lleva su tiempo la preparación de los alimentos, mientras degustan de una mezcalita para abrir apetito, disfrutar de la vista en la terraza que sin duda alguna es preciosa en el atardecer. Los platos que pedimos, todos estaban deliciosos, la calidad de los alimentos se percibía en cada bocado, el ambiente relajado, buena música, lo más divertido fue poder disfrutar de las calendas escuchando el sonido y la alegría de la gente desde arriba simplemente inolvidable. Sigan disfrutando de sus viajes y de buena gastronomía, salud! bye, bye!

Todo muy bien el ambiente es muy ameno, cuentan con música en vivo en la tarde noche es lo que hace un muy buen ambiente. La comida es buena porciones de buen tamaño al igual que las bebidas. Los postres son deliciosos

Excelente! En este establecimiento la comida es realmente deliciosa, probamos el ceviche, las costillas y la pasta de camarón, acompañamos con una ensalada con aderezo de jamaica y de bebidas pedimos sodas italianas de fresa. Subimos a la terraza y fue increíble, una vista preciosa. El servicio fue muy bueno, el personal nos trato con amabilidad, cordial y muy atentos. El ambiente es relajado, tranquilo, aneno, agradable para platicar, leer un libro, admirar la vista. Es un lugar que recomiendo al 100%.

Nuestra visita solo fue para tomar una cerveza de coctelería, café, chocolate y crepa esto estuvo muy bien en cuanto a su presentación, calidad, costo y porción, el costo también fue acequible buena atención del personal y solo para quienes aún no conocen el lugar tiene una escalera reducida, son bastantes escalones pero podríamos decir que algo reducidos si no es inconveniente estaría bien para visitar, la experiencia fue grata y recomendable.

Es una terraza agradable, con bonita vista a la ciudad. Los acabados son elegantes y cómodos. El trato es amable. Ideal para pasar un momento ameno.

Buen restaurante para venir a cualquier hora del día y disfrutar de una buena comida. Probé las enchiladas de mole rojo de la région de Zaachila, tuvo muy buen sabor. Además ordené un chocolate de agua, uno de mis favoritos en Oaxaca. El servicio es bastante bueno desde la entrada hasta que llegas a tu mesa y disfrutas de la vista hacia el cerro del Fortín y muchos cerros más a la lejanía. La atención de la mesera fue excelente y el trato muy gentil. Su menú tiene variedad pero no es amplia. Tienen jugos, cafés y bebidas alcohólicas. La terraza tiene bonita vista. Es un buen sitio para venir en grupo y compartir todos un buen lugar y una buena comida, desayuno o cena. Si vienes en la noche podrás admirar la belleza de Oaxaca desde la terraza del restaurante. Recomiendo el lugar el cien.

Es un lugar súper recomendado para ir a platicar, disfrutar de un buen platillo y tiempo con amigos, pareja o en familia. De mi experiencia puedo decir que el ambiente es 100% familiar, la elaboración de la comida es muy buena con un buen sabor, la porción es buena y es sabor es bastante bueno, el servicio de los meseros es muy buena ya que están al pendiente. En general el servicio es muy rápido y bueno. La vista del lugar es bueno, está muy limpio y en cuestión de costo-calidad vale la pena ir a este lugar. Lugar muy recomendado. Es un lugar que cuenta con terraza.

I don't know how this place isn't five stars plus. Just visited it with seven people and celebrated a birthday here not knowing anything about it and everyone was completely blown away. It's a local cultural cuisine that it's just phenomenal and like nothing we've ever had. We were so lucky to have seven with us so we can try a lot of different things. So come prepared to pig out! We had the pork ribs, beef ribs, baked chicken, seafood soup, another dish that they serve at weddings, tasted different mescals and had delicious mescaladas! It's our new favorite in Oaxaca.

After lots of walking, we stopped here for lunch and mezcal cocktails and were very happy with everything. The corn elote was sweet and delicate, the enchiladas con mole a great flavorful and savory pairing with that. Cocktails were also great, and what an excellent atmosphere.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Struggled to find gluten free items, but the majority of the menu was gluten free here! We got 3 dishes to share, and they were all delicious. Courtyard where we ate was beautiful. The mezcal drink we had was also phenomenal. The best drink we had in Oaxaca! Would recommend!

We had lovely dinner in Zanduga. We tried for entradas 5 tacos with 16 different taste, definitely the best tacos we tried in Mexico so far in 7 days. We give 10/10 for this very rich with meat tacos. For main meal we ordered pork ribs marinated in chilli with ananas and mashed potato. There is no words i can describe how this pork ribs were tender, real delicacy. I am giving 100/100 for this meal. Another meal was tongue in mole sauce. Tongue was tender and great, mole is something you need to try while in Oaxaca but for our european (croatian taste) it was too much. But everyhing was good, we are just not used to this type of taste. We know about goulash and this looked like it. Craft beer is fantastic, very drinkable. If you ask me would I return here my answer is definitely YES!

Loved the vibe at Zandunga, relaxed, welcoming, and full of Oaxacan charm. I had the ceviche and the corn tamal, and both were incredible. The ceviche was super fresh and well-balanced, and the tamal was soft, slightly sweet, and full of flavor. Definitely a place I’d come back to.

La terraza es muy linda, no tiene estacionamiento, supongo que por el lugar de ubicación, su menú cambio, los sabores de las crespas disminuyeron, pero aún así es aceptable, algo cambio antes el lugar tenía un mejor menú y sabor, así ahora tienen un dueto desconozco si es todos los días.

The food itself was enjoyable, no complaints there. However, the service was disappointing. The waiter with glasses didn’t seem to care much about cleanliness or customer service. My table was visibly dusty, and when I pointed out that the plate was also dusty and asked for a new one, there was no apology—just indifference. I ended up wiping the table down myself with a napkin. What really sealed it was being asked for a tip after all that. Sorry, but good service earns gratitude, not demands. Not impressed.

Las opciones de Gozobi me parecieron a primera vista limitadas ya que solo incluían tacos y otras opciones cárnicas. Sin embargo, se me ocurrió preguntar si servían ceviche y - efectivamente - obtuve una respuestas afirmativa. En ese sentido, quedé muy satisfecho. Pedí también tacos arrachera y estuvieron sabrosos. Pero estaban bastante escuálidos, casi sin rellenos. En ese sentido, me parece que pueden mejorar tomando en cuenta los precios. El ambiente estuvo agradable con un nivel de ruido moderado tomando en cuenta que tienen música en vivo. La vista es cautivante. El servicio es más lento, sobre todo al momento de recibir la cuenta y pagar por el servicio.

Food was mid compared to the other spots we’ve tried in Oaxaca so far. I do enjoy my corn & cheese tamale, but the other vegetarian options here felt limited so I had a mushroom tlayuda to supplement (large portion size!). My partner had the catch of the day which he found dry and bland. Vibes in the restaurant were nice with and the service was attentive and kind. I liked the courtyard seating and the central location of the spot. It felt like basic tourist-y food overall.

This restaurant has a top tier vibe, menu options, and flavors. The menu is a true blend of traditional food and deluxe dining. The mezcalita was wonderful, and the mojito with mezcal was memorable - one of the best drinks I had in Oaxaca with plenty of mint to complement the mezcal. I ordered Veggie Alambres and a Soup. The Alambres is hearty, and I kept some for leftovers with my own tortillas at home since there was more filling than the tortillas provided. The soup was healing, and I squeezed some limes into it to enhance the flavor. It wasn’t necessarily strong flavored, but it was healthy and simple. It was the type of thing that makes your body feel very cared for. I appreciated that there are chips and three types of salsa provided when you order, which allowed my friends and I to have something to hold us over until the meal came. I will say, I have eaten at many restaurants in Mexico, and this was some of the oddest service I’ve had. The server took everyone’s drink order but mine and two others (we were a party of 13) and I ended up asking her to put in my drink and food order because my friends had all already received their food and drink. This set off the timing of the meal, and we were at the location for a good three hours total. In Mexico, always allocate 30-40 minutes for the bill. I don’t expect fast service, but being skipped and unable to get the server’s attention until everyone else had been served was beyond a unique experience. Overall, it was a good experience - but one of my pricier meals in Oaxaca and for the food and experience provided, I wouldn’t say it’s a “must visit” but does have some unique options worth trying.

Pedí un sándwich de la casa con todo, pero no recuerdo haber pedido una comanda debajo del sándwich. La verdad y siendo honesto sus meseras son muy groseras y descorteses. Esperaba más y la única que nos atendió bien fue en jefe de meseros. Siempre se puede mejorar.

I was looking forward to dining at this Michelin-acknowledged restaurant, but the experience was disappointing. We had been waiting for over an hour for our food before we asked a staff member to check on the order, they never returned. About fifteen minutes later, our server checked if we wanted anything else (Our meal!!!!) and shortly after that the food arrived cold. Two dishes had no remaining warmth; melted cheese had fully re-solidified, and the center of an enchilada was somehow below room temperature. We asked for the dishes to be reheated, and after another fifteen minutes we received newly prepared plates that were warm. There was little acknowledgment or apology for the delays. From arriving at the restaurant to finally having a warm meal ready to eat it was 1 hour and 45 minutes. On the positive side, the cocktails were good, the space is beautiful, and the staff were generally friendly. While others seem to have had better experiences, this visit did not meet the standard I would expect for any restaurant mentioned by Michelin, and I would not recommend the restaurant based on our experience.

My wife and I went here on our honeymoon. The food was delicious and I especially recommend the sweet elote tamale! We did however have a horrible service experience. Our server was very sweet and “recommended” a glass of the house wine since it was our honeymoon. We had already ordered cocktails but she insisted on having us try the wine and when we said it was nice poured us glasses. Given the context it seemed the house wine was a gift from the restaurant for our honeymoon. Although we honestly didn’t want wine, we forced ourselves to finish it to show gratitude for the kind gesture. When the bill came we were shocked to see the wine on it for 390 pesos! I alerted the restaurant of the error but they said we had accepted the wine and refused to take it off. So basically we were forced to pay for wine we didn’t even want on our honeymoon! This is not the type of service you expect at a fine dining experience. It was obviously a communication error, but seeing as both my wife and I had the impression that the wine was complimentary they should have taken at least one glass off the bill. It really tainted the entire experience of dining here.

La terraza está linda, pero nada más! Nos atendió un chico (no recuerdo su nombre) y Amada, quienes fueron el top del lugar. De ahí en fuera, qué decepción. Pedimos que nos bajaran a una mesa pues el frío estaba horrible en la terraza y nos dieron una junta al baño (el lugar estaba vacío). Intenté pasar a otra mesa explicando que si tenían reservación íbamos a salir antes de que la mesa llegara y no supieron responder (nunca llegó nadie). La comida horrible, me dieron pasta con vegetales crudos y fríos, a mi novio le dieron una hamburguesa carne que olía vieja. La atención del lugar estaba muy bien, lástima por los chicos Somos regulares en Oaxaca y nunca regresaríamos a este lugar!
