We came late to Obidos and were recommended by Jamon Jamon owner to visit Biquinha — and it was truly amazing! As the restaurant opened its gates just recently, we were glad to give fresh entrepreneurs a chance… and boy was it a right decision! One of the owners (Bruno) met us with great and positive energy, which continued through our stay there. We were introduced to the restaurant’s concept, the fact that it was re-built from the scratch by the owners, and — at last — the food! The food was really unique. The flavours and textures were interesting and intense — leaving us with our minds satisfied and our stomachs full just enough for us not to fall in the food comma. Overall, we’d definitely recommend Bruno’s restaurant to our friends and family. We will be sure to visit again in the future! 🍻
While visiting Obidos, PT, we found this place off the beaten path. Small, with a limited menu but what a wonderful little menu! I had the cockle appetizer and the "boys" had the Iberian prosciutto. For main dishes I had the Portobello and the "boys" had the pork loin, my husband thought the pork was OK but my son thought it was the most delicious! The staff was helpful and knowledgeable, providing details about the dishes and great wine suggestions to go with the pork. The environment is really neat, the entire building was repurposed; we sat at an old wine press turned into a table. We also had a nice view of the town. Give this small place a chance and you won't regret it!
Délicieux et chaleureux petit restaurant. Nous avons mangé un steak de thon parfaitement cuisiné accompagné d'un vin conseillé par le restaurateur. Un régal pour nos papilles. Sans compter les desserts. La crème brûlée d'une texture légèrement liquide, étonnant. Terrasse intime. Merci au Jamon-Jamon pour ce très bon conseil !

I normally don't rate my favorite spots because I want to keep em all to myself hahaha but since they just opened last month and the review will helps out, so I'll do an exception here. This restaurant is phenomenal. The menu is carefully selected and every dish I tried delicious. The pork loin with cauliflower puree - amazing👌👌 The fried brie starter, insane with the orange. The stuffed chicken, so delicious. The home made crisps almost see through. The food is really expertly crafted with attention to the balance of flavours. The cocktails are amazing too, creations of the house. The atmosphere is very cozy and quaint. It feels like a small love project from the chefs. 5 stars, congratulations guys and good luck!
A quiet place in the tourist town of Obidos. There aren't many dishes here, but everything is delicious on a terrace protected from the wind. Great desserts and coffee. The waiter is an exemplary, cheerful guy who will always tell you what to choose and will make dinner not just a visit to a restaurant, but a fun show. Once I tried the mushroom burger with zucchini and pesto and mozzarella. It was a surprise for fish and meat lover. How delicious! We will be back here many times.
Best tuna steak and octopus salad I ate so far in Portugal. The waiter is very nice and has a wide and good knowledge about wine and food. The atmosphere outside is stunning. Highly recommended
This charming adega exceeded all expectations off the beaten track in Obidos! The service was top-notch and the host Bruno made you feel right at home. The delicious starters set the stage for an unforgettable Tuna Steak, expertly cooked and bursting with flavor. The crowning glory was an astonishing wine selection, each bottle a perfect complement to the meal. In a cozy and welcoming ambiance, (don't forget to check out the terrace), a small restaurant, yet big on taste and quality - a gastronomic gem I can't wait to revisit!
Wunderschönes, kleines Restaurant mit tollem Blick abseits der gängigen Obidos Touristenroute! Nach unserem Rundgang durch Obidos entschlossen wir uns ein Restaurant im eher ruhigeren Teil des Ortes zu suchen und fanden diese kleine Perle in einem tollen alten Haus, ganz im portugiesischen Stil eingerichtet. Obwohl ein etwas frischer Wind wehte saßen wir draußen, da die Terrasse sehr windgeschützt liegt. Wir wurden extrem freundlich bedient und der Kellner wusste alles über die Weine die er uns anbot und machte außerordentlich leckere Cocktails. Jeder von uns hatte ein anderes Essen und auch ein vegetarisches Gericht steht auf der Speisekarte ;-) (nicht so selbstverständlich für portugiesische Restaurants mussten wir schon feststellen). Vielen Dank für einen tollen Abend! Wir werden sicherlich wieder kommen, wenn wir einmal wieder in Obidos sind!
Sister restaurant to Jamon! Jamon! Right next door. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The recommendations were great, and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend the octopus salad. It comes with raw onions in the mix, which I loved, but if you don’t like chopped onions make sure you ask to have that left out. I would definitely be back for that octopus salad if I were staying another night.
Excellent petit restaurant que nous avait chaudement recommandé le proprio du JamonJamon. Nous avons mangé un très bon plat de morue avec une entrée de petites palourdes et une salade de pieuvre. L’ambiance di resto est très sympa, on a vraiment l’impression d’être dans une maison. Allez y sans hésiter!
Tout est parfait. Même les végétariens trouve leur bonheur. Un accueil souriant et chaleureux. Les plats sont fins et raffinés. A faire absolument Merci pour le beau moment passé chez vous.
