I had a few minutes before meeting a client. The line moved very quickly, a plus. Gave them my order and my food came out to me in a short amount of time, a real huge plus. Met the manager Kristin ad she came around the dining area. Extremely pleasant and friendly. Definitely worth a return.
I’ve came here 4 times already and it’s always a pleasant experience. This location is new and I love the little space outside. There are tables and umbrellas to enjoy your meal solo or with a friend or two outside. They are doing construction in the next building over but thankfully there isn’t much noise. The inside is decorated with bright, colorful, beautiful artwork from the community. Definitely several talented artists nearby. The customer service is great and they all seem to work well as a team. They offer great suggestions and are very friendly. I recommend this spot especially if your are hungry and driving through (50) - Colonial Drive in traffic.
We've gone to Tijuana Flats in Winter Garden for years and lately it's been very disappointing. Hubby, son and I were craving it today and hubby suggested coming to this location, since we live the same distance to each one. This is such a cute location!! The fella at the counter was very nice and answered our question about the 2 for $20 deal. We believe it was the manager who brought out the chips and queso, and kindly offered to refill our drinks. She also brought our food out; everything was fixed to perfection and tasted great. Bottom line, we will be coming to this Tijuana Flats from now on. They won us over, big time!!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Space was clean really modern vibes, food was on point, customer service was great. I understand the team is new and challenges will come up. When I did have a challenge with my order the MOD took care of everything. This is how a manager and staff are suppose to step up when these things occur. This place will only get better with time. So good job to management and staff.
I don't usually enjoy Tijuana Flats. As a matter of fact, I tend to purposefully avoid it. This location was different though. It was open, modern, and an enjoyable atmosphere. The food was much better than most, and the open kitchen made the food feel like it wasn't as heavily processed as I once thought. This one location has changed my perception on the chain, and I'm willing to give it another shot soon.
Always a great place for fast, friendly service and some tasty treats. We are not typical fast-food consumers, but Tijuana Flats has been a place we like to go for a quick lunch when we have that Mexican craving early.
I had been a few times to the Orlando location by Valencia, but this was my first time at any other. Same great food and service. Nice shady outdoor dining area, which was nice as there is a pandemic and I don't really want to eat inside an establishment yet. The music pumps to the outside at a good level, so you still get some of the atmosphere, and they make a point of checking up on outdoor customers. Great place!
Upon p/u, my portion was weak, but soon remedied. So grateful Pat took care of me. Lovin' the Flathead life.
Anjahha at the register was very helpful and very kind. 5 stars!
Very good food and man at the counter was very hospitable.Enjoyed the evening with my wife
Been twice once on a Tuesday first thing at 11am and Thursday at 11am. Each time long time wait for food when not busy. 25mins for two tacos is crazy. Been to several other locations for years and never had issues. Even other customers complained and lady said it was normal. Won’t be back to this location. New location maybe needs work.
I met a longtime friend there this last saturday at around 6pm. Excellent customer service. I'll say it again...excellent customer service. I got the Chimichanga and it was cooked to order and delicious! I would definitely recommend.
This is a nice place, very well decorated, the customer service was great, always looking out if we need any refill or something , food was tasty
We regularly travel on W. Colonial Drive in Ocoee. We always seem to get the red light at Maguire Rd where the backs of a number on businesses face the road. One of these businesses is Tijuana Flats which has an eye-catching facade, advertising “Tex Mex For All.” I’d picked up a menu the day before and decided to give them a try for takeout. The staff is very friendly and the manager is present and working to ensure a positive experience for his customers. There were several tables occupied with dine in patrons, including two casually dressed businessmen working on their laptops while having lunch. My order was taken quickly and efficiently: a chicken Chimichanga and a chicken Quesadilla. I waited about 10 minutes and my order was brought yo me by a smiling and pleasant young lady. TF has a fun vibe. I thought the music was a little loud, though. We enjoyed our food although the tortilla chips were soggy even though packed in a separate paper bag. We had enough for another smaller serving the next day. I thought the price point was a little high. If you like sauces, this is your place. The restaurant has a separate area with a variety of well-marked and described sauces. The tables are cool, too, with clever sayings on them. Elementary school artwork is also on display. Parking is plentiful with dedicated spots for pre-ordered pickups. The manager brought one order out to a waiting customer. I’m glad I stopped in and I will return. Just please turn down the music volume!
Great location. I'm here at least once a week. The manager Aaron is very nice and usually the one cooking, while the staff is consistently friendly and attentive. I'm picky with wings but they are always on point here, tossed to perfection. The shrimp corn tacos are my fav. I always dine-in and never have any issues

This location is amazing! Always great employees, fantastic food, and the building is extremely clean. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat at each week!
Great experience every time I come in! The Manager is helpful and always goes the extra mile to make sure we have a good time and enjoy our food.
The service is always good. The staff are polite and the food is delicious. Great spot for a made to order lunch, always freshly made.
This Tijuana location is pretty solid, and I’ve been to several in Florida. Food came out quickly and it was very hot when it came out, which believe it or not is not always necessarily the case at other Tijuana locations for whatever reason.
Anajahha Lynch was running the front end and did a great job. You'll be lucky if she is there taking care of you too@
Love this place! Food is consistently good. Staff is friendly. Food prepared when you order.
The food here was surprisingly delicious! I was in Orlando on a 2-week business trip. I hadn't heard of Tijuana Flats before this trip. I signed up for their points club and went back several times during my trip. The garlic lime shrimp tacos got me hooked! The combination of flavors that are packed into a soft taco shell - the poblano peppers, pickled red onions, queso fresco, cilantro cabbage and garlic lime sauce were like a party in your mouth! The burritos are more than generous in size. The beefy queso and regular queso were delicious! To top it all off, they have a hot sauce bar with a range of heat level to satisfy from mild(almost no heat) to Carolina Reaper hot. The staff were very friendly and helpful in deciding my first order. If there was a location close to my home, I would probably be there on a weekly basis. They have specials for different days of the week, so it's not hard to find a great deal. Their points club is also a huge benefit with rewards available after spending $20. The rewards get better as your points build up. I can easily recommend this location for great food and great service.

I am an OG Flathead. Worked for TF in Pompano Beach during high school (2004-2006) and always make it a point to stop at a TF when I can since moving to GA. Visited FL for a funeral back in August and went looking for the one I worked at and realized it had closed down!! How!?!? Doesn't makes sense, it was right next to a surf shop and a gym, it was always busy! Recently we found this loction a couple weeks ago visiting again for a wedding... Walking in, it didn't feel like tijuana flats. It missed the nostalgia pictured employees and celebs, painted ceiling tiles, 80s hits blasting, and a hot sauce bar that didn't only include mild sauce for wimps but the heat that will clear your allergies. I was saddened to see so many fun features that made tflats so perfect fun and unique had been changed. Fun menu options... enchiladas!!! Flautas!!Powerlite... BJOLTS! where's the SAAAAAAAUCE (red sauce, that one was painful) why remove something that paired with the queso so well. I wish I still had some of my old work shirts, the apparel used to be so fun! I met the manager, Nick Nuzzo, who was a delight. Impressed he stayed with the company through all the changes, hope they know the value of employee they have with him. It was good to see they are still sticking to customer service standards and holding true to that aspect. The employees there are awesome. The food was good, but not as special as it once was. I won't be as eager to go out of my way next time unless changes are made taking it back to its original glory ✌️❤️🌮
First time coming into this store front. Visually it's got that overall Tijuana Flats feel. The service was okay, our server was very soft spoken but wasn't bad. We waited a bit for our food, but to be fair someone before us had a big order. Once we got our food though, portion size we were highly disappointed. We've been going to Tijuana for over 10 years and never had such a small portion of food, not to mention it was in a to-go box even though we said we would be dining in. So that was very disappointing. Like you use to be able to get nachos and share generously with 2-3 people and this portion barely could feed 1 person. Little chips, little toppings so that was a let down. The food taste though was fantastic as usual. Would I order here again? Maybe. I just don't think it's worth the price anymore. But to each their own!

I placed an order in the car in front of Tijuana came and there was one person at the register. I was the second person in line. I told her I have a mobile order for dine in she said OK and went to the back. I still waited at a table for at least 15 to 20 minutes for my order to get wrapped up in the bag. As a pickup order, the sweet tea was not sweet at all. I added two Splenda’s still not sweet. I didn’t even take it to go with me. I left it on a table that someone else already had an order waiting to get picked up thrown away.
Food was off this time around. I'm usually a huge Tijuana Flats fan but this time it tasted different than it usually does. Everything was ordinary aside from that.
Good food, but I waited for a long time to get it. Nice staff though.

In general, we love Tijuana Flats but this location is consistently an issue. Today I ordered through the website for delivery and it was supposed to arrive around 12:38. I ordered at 11:44am. But I know from experience this location takes ages to prepare an order anytime we dine in, or order takeout. But it didn’t go out for delivery until 12:45, so an entire hour later! Last time we dined in, we added double meat to a bowl and it was a very sad serving of protein. Staff is friendly but this place is never busy, so I’m unsure why it takes SO long, or why the quality isn’t the best
Ordered over the phone at 530 and food wasn't ready until 610 pm and place wasn't even that busy. No acknowledgement or customer service to apologize the slow food, even after asking about my order at the 30 minute mark. This was definitely not "casual fast dining." Sit down restaurants like Chili's would have had my food out faster. Finally, they got a few items in our order wrong... sigh.
Service is great, food was great, but I should not have to ask you to put toilet paper in the restroom! Paper towels on the floor and not one roll of toilet paper. Last restroom check was at 1pm and it's now 5pm with no other employee signing off that they checked the restroom. When I told an employee that there was no toilet paper, she asked me which one. I should not have to tell you how to do your job, go check the restrooms yourself!! The young man who took my order was polite, very knowledgeable about the menu and was a pleasure. We sat on the patio and every employee who walked by is asked if we needed anything. I do recommend this place becasue the food is good.
This location has been fighting to keep themselves above water. They never have enough staff, and the food is always hit or miss. Today, I got black bean flauts and 2 other items. Let's just say I wish I left it there. They look sad.. I really was wondering why they are closing locations... I see now

The food was good but they messed up my order when I called. When she game me my drink soda was all spilled in the sides and it spilled into me cause the lid was on half way.The young girl at the front today had an attitude like she didn’t want to be there but she waited until after I paid . Next time I won’t tip before I get my food to go! I’ll just go someplace else. It would have been 3 stars cause the food was good but that service was below hell
I used to love Tijuana Flats, but it’s gone seriously downhill in recent months. The place is now overwhelmed with DoorDash orders, and it feels like in-person guests are an afterthought. Today at lunchtime, after waiting in line for ten minutes just to order, we were told it would be a 30–45 minute wait for food. That’s not reasonable during a lunch break. Sadly, probably done with this location.
Originally was going to eat at Sonny’s next door, but it was a 40 minute wait time. So we all decided to go to Tijuana Flats. We ordered at 1:50pm and waited until 2:20 before going up to ask about our food. We were told it was coming out in two minutes…. We waited until 2:35 before going up again. This time we were told it was coming out now but just asked for a refund instead… The restaurant was not busy and there were several people that ordered 20 minutes after us who were getting their food. 45 minutes for Tijuana is a ridiculous wait time…. Will never be returning to this location.
HORRIBLE! Placed an online order at 12:05 told it would be ready at 12:16 as of the time of writing this review at 12:50 it’s still not ready. No one is giving updates, the restaurant isn’t even that busy, people coming in to place dine-in orders are getting their food within 5-10 minutes and the takeout line has multiple people that have been waiting just as long as I have! No apologies or any info on what’s going on, absolutely terrible I don’t plan on coming back! After almost an hour after placing my order I got my food, the manager did apologize and said they were having system issues and offered a drink or desert but I didn’t want to wait any longer.
Placed an order online for 645pm pickup and had to wait an additional 30 mintues in the store. While I was waiting I saw an employee pick up trash then go to start preparing food without washing their hands.
Go to Chipotle, Torchy's, even taco bell the quality of the food has gone. Also we ordered unseasoned chips and everything came with seasoned chips asked that they simple correct the error and we waited for about an hour we had finished our meal and still didn't arrive. Stay away
I was ordered 2 beef tacos with a small guacamole. I wish the guacamole was refridgerated, it tastes bland and I can't enjoy it. I took one bite of the taco and said "nope", the food looks and tastes cheaply made, just looks like store-bought ingredients to me. Ordering a drop-off of this restaurant might as well be for lazy people when you can make the same food at home and still enjoy it, lost my appetite for the rest of the evening.
We ordered curb side delivery. We arrived at 1135 am for our delivery time. After waiting 10 minutes, I went inside to get our food. I was approached asking if all I ordered was a tea. I said no, I had 2 adult meals and 2 kid meals. After 30 minutes plus AFTER my scheduled curbside delivery, we got out food but I picked it up inside. When we checked our food, multiple issues. 1) my 13 inch flour chimichanga was less than 3 inches big. 2) we got a tub of ranch dressing instead of salsa. 3) kids chicken tenders were super small and not full portion. When speaking with the manager Ruban, he did refund us, and told us next time we come we get 2 free meals. He also apologized that they are short staffed. So I am writing this review, because my husband and I decided to go and claim our 2 free meals. We get there, and there is only 2 people working. 1 taking orders and doing everything, and 1 person making the food. They had a line of people, and I got the feeling of what I did the last time of all the issues and long wait. Therefore, we decided to leave and go elsewhere. This use to be a good Tijuana flats location with staff when they first opened. Now it’s horrible, and it’s worth driving to the winter garden one instead of this one.
They just can't ever seem to get it right. We went in late on Friday night (3-21-25), around 9:22pm, store closes at 10pm. Normally when I get take out, there is always something wrong with the order or something missing. This time, when I get home I pull out my Beef burrito and it seems a little flimsy, normally its pretty thick where this was a limp burrito. When I cut it in half, there was almost zero meat, it was all rice. If I was a betting man, I would guess that they ran out of beef and didn't feel like making anymore. The 4 items we ordered took 22 minutes to make from the time I put it in. The restaurant was empty, we were the only ones waiting on food. It will definitely be my last visit. Have you ever seen a Chipotle Burrito? Tijuana Flats should take a lesson from them. On a side note, the cashier was super nice, unfortunately that doesn't do it.
Order a Flauta with the blackened chicken i got a cheese flats with what it looks like less the the onces recommended. I frequently lunch at the Apopka location never have I had this problem.
Horrible customer service and massive unnecessary attitude to multiple customers and refused to possess my refund from "general manger"Diane Johnson.

We ordered two taco meals and Queso. We received our tacos, asked for the queso, she said "you didn't receive it!". We said no. She said she will bring it. We didn't receive. When we saw her bringing food to another table. We asked for Queso again, she said "you didn't receive it!". We said no. She didn't bring it again. I went to kitchen, asked for the Queso, and she said "you didn't receive it!". I said no, and she handed me a cold queso in a container sitting on kitchen counter. Why is it so hard to do your job? Customer gives an order, you bring it to table.
Horrible customer service, ma ager on duty 1/4/26 at about 7:45 is rude, condescending, and should definitely not be a manager. He offered absolutely no resolution to my isdue. His exact words were well I don't know what you want me to do.
I placed an order on line for this evening at 8:41 pm. The specials two soft tacos with EVERYTHING, NO JALAPEÑOS was inside. However when, I picked it up, the woman who was at the counter gave the bag to me with NO UTENSILS. I had to asked her for the sweet tea, she only gave me one. I said to her it was two orders, she then told me, that's the last drop of the sweet tea. So I got an orange drink. Very disappointed with the service
Placed a to-go order from Tijuana Flats in Ocoee on 9/18/25 and it was a complete disaster. Multiple items were wrong. One meal was supposed to be dairy-free with double meat—it came drenched in cheese and sour cream with barely 3–4 pieces of chicken. The double meat was dumped onto another entree that was just meat and rice—no toppings, despite requesting them. Chips were crushed, queso was congealed, and everything was lukewarm at best. This isn’t a one-off. I hadn’t ordered in months because of past issues, but decided to give them another chance. Big mistake. The lack of attention to detail and consistency is unacceptable. This visit was the nail in the coffin—I won’t be returning.
Waited for food more than 20 minutes. We had to keep asking about the rest of the food for it table. One order had chicken flasks and the meat was salty.
