Walked in and was greeted politely by a kid with purple hair. I apologize for not catching a name. He assisted with my order like a professional should. Recognized my cap which was a reference to my veteran owned company. Acknowledged and expressed his gratitude for my service. Thanked me once again once I was leaving. Not a Wingstop fan, but he definitely changed my perspective.
I door dash and they are always super busy! Poor guys work their butts off! Please be patient with them they are always short handed! Mark is always ready to help and so kind!! Thank you for your hard work guys! Customers can be harsh!!
The wait was a bit but it was expected for a Saturday night. Seanna is a 5 star employee hang on to her. Best customer service. Also all the other staff was very pleasant.

The best wings I’ve had in a while!! The wings were fresh and juicy, fries were hot and good! Upon arrival, the place looked clean and it was at a nice temperature for these hot days in Texas. The staff was great and friendly. Yelling al the way from the back to welcome guest as they entered. I could tell they enjoyed working there. My only complaint was the blue cheese was not filled all the way to the top, but I’m in the food industry I understand that food cost goals have to be met. I will defiantly be back!!

They were all good except for the Korean Spicy, but overall wings were cook good and I recommend to double fry them, they more crunchy. They are always busy (good for biz) not the best for svc. However that's not to mean they don't do their best to give good svc. Just makes it difficult when the staff is always swamped. Just so you know what to expect when you go. I love what I order and can give the benefit of the doubt to the hard workers there.

Food was not even warm when I got it. It was a takeout order. Mind you, I got there a few minutes before the time it was suppose to be ready. This place has gone downhill!
They gave my husband order to another customer had to wait another 20 minutes to get his order again .
Took over an hour to get the food. Usually order online even if im going to eat in. How does it take so long to just season some.wings. Most were all breading anyways with little to no meat. The meat was dry and over cooked. Terrible and wingstop is great in other cities but trash here

The thermostat is set to Eskimo I believe. I the last year, every sit down experience has been the same. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the AC, but this is always beyond cool, it’s miserably COLD. I feel like it’s done on purpose to have people eat and leave quickly. Ruins the whole dining experience every time. If they could make the temperature comfortable, it would always be a perfect enterprise, but I don’t see it happening. Like I said food was great and so was the service, shivering while I eat sux though.

The wings tasted like a burn frozen old chicken and I burped the entire night. Music was amazing 🤩 80s me and hubby enjoyed the time there and the cashiers seem with good spirits even though we went on Christmas Eve I hope they got gift cards or something.

Only time I ever leave a bad review is when I’m extremely pissed off. Ever since I moved to Odessa back in 2021 they’ve never allowed online orders, they never answer their phones or the lines always busy no matter what time of the day you call, and everytime I order in person it’s always a 45 minute to an hour wait! Staff has no passion or concern for anything! This is enough! Just close the damn branch down at this point! To all my hard working class people reading this do yourself a favor and don’t even bother trying to order from here!
Manager Michael was so clueless thru the phone. How do you not know who works on your shift. and you're a manager? Called as we had to wait 1.5 for fries and sauces and a short girl with glasses was rude at the front counter. Wingstop, please fix your online system and your team.
This wing stop is an absolute joke. It should not take over 2 hours to have our order ready especially it being 2 combos!! I wouldn’t recommend ordering unless you’re willing to wait 2.5 hours for your order.
Wait time is absolutely ridiculous because they prioritize door dash and Uber eats. It's like the customers who actually choose to go get their own food don't matter. I placed an online order at 7:19 and was told it would be ready between 8:07-8:12. But at 8 I was told it would be another 30 mins. But sitting here all the only people I see getting orders are food delivery. Complete neglect and attitudes with the people placing in store or online orders. That is exactly why I don't come here, only here because my daughter wanted it, Complete ridiculous bs.
Was not told it was gonna take so long for wings or else I wouldn’t have ordered in the first place. Waiting more than 40 minutes and still didn’t get my food, had to ask for refund. I have never been to a wingstop that takes so long to order it’s usually decent at other locations. Front cashiers were super friendly, others were visiting with what seemed like family and showing off their kids while there was a pretty busy dining area. Hope to get my refund within the promised time frame. “ 5-7 business days”
If I could give 0 stars I would We’ve all worked customer service jobs so I totally understand if you’re busy or just having an off night! However, being racist is completely different. After a long 12 hour shift in the health care field my cousin, her husband and 1 year old daughter wanted to get dinner at Wingstop. They love wingstop so they didn’t think twice about getting something quick to eat. However they were extremely disappointed by their customer service experience at this franchise. Hannah refused to serve them after my cousins husband spoke to her about the change. I understand if this is your first job, she looked like teenager so that’s understandable if things are hard during work. But when the manager stepped in, you would think HE would deal with this manner in a professional way. If you enjoy these problems and want to be degraded, then by all means visit this Wingstop in Odessa. This all happened in front of my 1-year-old niece. Usually, every story has two sides, and this one does as well, except both sides involve Hannah being racist after she got our change wrong, and we notified her POLITELY that the change returned was incorrect. Things happen and at the end of the day everyone is human. If my cousins family thought they got the wrong change they should be able to express this without getting any backlash. You would think so, but not according to Hannah. They sat there AFTER 12 hours of work for ANOTHER HOUR because the manager didn’t even express to them that they weren’t getting their food. I understand some people have an accent but that doesn’t mean you can discriminate against them, lol it’s 2024 girlypop….get it together. :) It sucks because we’ve been to so many wing stops but this location is definitely not it.
So apparently they are not checking the Uber orders, and they just give out the orders. I called them about my order because, my actual Uber driver told me that someone picked it up. They told me I can just go pick up the reorder which is ridiculous after paying Uber fees and tips. But I went to pick it up and waited another 20mins from a 1hr 30min wait. My wings where so small the fries where so hard and trash. And I still had to pay. Don’t order here online trust me! And they really aren’t that good in general.
A complete disappointment, I ordered food online and two hours later it was not ready when I went to pick up. The cashier was extremely rude and the entire establishment was a mess. They had several people in there requesting to speak to a manager over lost orders. They continued to take phone orders while people were in there trying to dine in and waiting unattended. In the back the employees cooking weren't even wearing gloves. You've lost a loyal customer just by the lack of customer service alone. Let alone the cold food
1 star only because Google doesn’t allow zero. Over an hour waiting for a pickup order, like they were raising the chickens out back. The staff looked like they were starring in a slow-motion horror comedy: completely disorganized, apathetic, and totally unaware of time. No updates, no apologies, just blank stares and attitude. This place isn’t a restaurant — it’s a masterclass in how to scare customers away. And by the way… if you ever want to witness chaos in restaurant form, come here. But bring a chair, some water, and maybe a 600-page book.
If I could give this Wingstop zero stars, I would. This was the most frustrating experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. First, Hannah, the cashier, completely messed up our transaction. We waited for an hour, thinking our order was being prepared, only to find out they were holding our money and never planned to serve us! We had to go up to the counter ourselves to check on our order because no one bothered to communicate with us. That’s when they casually told us, “We’re not serving you.” Are you kidding me? After wasting an hour of our time, they didn’t even have the decency to let us know earlier. Hannah acted like we were the problem and even claimed I was being rude when I was simply trying to get answers. And as for the manager, Michael—what’s the point of having a manager if they don’t step in to resolve issues like this? The lack of professionalism and basic customer service here is unbelievable. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. This place doesn’t care about its customers at all.
Would have given a ZERO if possible, but lowest I could go was a 1. Placed a online order at 8:38 was told to pick up at 9:23 went to 42nd Street location in Odessa at 9:30 only to be told that our order had not even been started, could not give a time to how long and this is not the poor young man's fault that was running the front he was taking the blunt end of the complaints. My opinion if your NEW system isn't working and you can't keep up than a manager should have been at the front taking the complaints, but they wouldn't even come and explain. It will be a long time if ever we try this location again even through it is the closest to my house. But they sure made damn sure that DoorDash was taken care of and not everyone likes and or uses Door Dash.
The biggest problem with this place is the consistency. If I place an order online, I feel like it should always be ready at the time I chose. But at this location, it has never been on time. I thought it was just a one-time thing, but it happens every time I want to place an order here. I tried to deal with the problem by making my orders to be done 15 minutes before the actual time I want it, but then they’re either right on the dot or all my food is soggy and cold. Today was my last straw as my order was almost an hour late to be fulfilled. The worst part is, they didn’t even give me one of my baskets of fries! I’d say one of the only good things about this Wingstop is how polite the employees are. I see a lot of other people have this problem when I am waiting for my food, so I know it’s not just me. I don’t blame the actual employees but the staffing and organization; mostly behind the scenes. I hope it gets better but this will be one of the last Wingstops I choose due to inconvenience.
Ordered online and sat an extra 20-30 minutes.got two combo wings and had a side of fries. Wings were cold and no fries or veggies that we had ordered as well came with it. Might as well order from midland if I even want anything correct and not frozen.
Edit: this weekend, Wingstop got my order 100% wrong. I call up there a manager pretends to take my info and says they will redo my entire order upon request. I head up there today to get the replacemen and there is ZERO record of this conversation and I am simply not found in their "system." Why is is so hard to get an online order correct? It is in WRITING and you just have to read it. Five months later, even worse than my original review. They gave me whatever flavors they wanted this weekend. I ordered it at 6:15PM, It arrived a 7:55PM and it was WRONG. And there were fries, vegetable sticks, or ranch. Just three flavors of chicken that I did not order. If I knew how to make lemon pepper wings, this would not be a problem. But dammit, they are good. If I could ever get them!! This place is the WORST. I have ordered from Midland for YEARS. Order from here because super close to the office. But it is NEVER correct. And when you try to look in the bag, they are, "And it is all there." But this last time, three of six flavors (half the wings) were missing. But both fries were on top so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Now, they are argumentative and insistant that we bring the entire order back. Now, our Holiday Party is delayed TWICE as long. Chaotic is just as close and will be getting our business from here on out.
They always get our order wrong. Either they short us something or they don’t make the wings the way we requested them. We placed an online order and went to go pick it up.The girl at the register didn’t tell them we were there so our order was just sitting on the shelf for a long time. After going and asking about our order we checked it and there was no celery so I told the cook at the pickup area and he said it would be 10 to 15 minutes more for celery lol. I told him if I didn’t get the celery right now I was going to want a refund on everything. I guess we are hard headed for going back there after so many bad experiences. It will be a long long time before we go back. Time to look for a better wing joint. Only gave 1 star in order to be able to post my review.
Got treated very poorly by our server Hannah. Had to escalate and even felt like the manager, (Michael?) brushed us off. Wont be coming back again. Recommend anyone reading this to do the same. Total red flags on how the entire place is run.
Every time single time they’re either rude, get my order wrong or just lazy. I hear all the cook get mad and talk crap about people placing orders. They get upset when people order in making smart remarks like dude yall work at a kitchen what do you expect? Not to mention in order my food at 6pm and ask for it to be ready at 8pm. I showed up at 7:45 and was told it be ready in 5 min. I didn’t get my food until 8:30 and it was because they had my bag sitting on the top shelf for 30 min not even bothering to check or call my name out. They only realize my food was up there was when I ask if it was ready & the heavyset lady in the kitchen gave me the dirtiest look saying they called my name out when in reality they just forgot. I stood right by the window they never called my name out. Y’all need to look into who yall hiring cause it’s ridiculous how it’s always a problem. My food is always cold & now it’s definitely cold sitting on the rack for about 45 mins. Smh

EMPLOYEE WAS HANNAH AND MANAGER WAS MICHAEL. Me, my husband and my ONE YEAR OLD BABY apparently have been refused service and no longer allowed to come to this location because of… not even sure why? An employee got her feelings a little hurt over a little change? Then let all the other staff members we were rude or something or did something so horrible I’m not even sure. But they held on to our money for an hour after placing our order without even talking to us or letting us know they are not serving us. Story written below. Me and my family went to this location and placed our order. When my husband paid by cash I guess the cashier had some confusion on the change. But we paid and we sat down. We waited almost an hour and it’s getting closer to closing time. Little did we know they were purposely not serving us or refusing to serve us. We went up to the register area where the employee and manager were standing. The employee purposely was standing with her back towards us. My husband asked about the status of our order. The manager ended up telling my husband “you made my employee cry and quit so we cannot serve you” and handed our money back after almost an hour of waiting. Apparently the employee who served us felt bad about something my husband said about the change and made it into a big deal. Not sure what story she told the other employees and manager but everyone was upset with us. It was me and my husband and my one year old daughter. I’m not sure what we did exactly for everyone to hate us and kick us out and refuse service to us. If they are discriminating against my husband because his English is not good and is from a different country then that’s absolutely wrong. If the employee is hurt about something my husband said how come no one and came to talk to us about the situation to clear the air or just even sort it out? We sat in the restaurant thinking they were making our order for almost an hour with my baby. They even kept holding our money until we got up to ask about our order. The manager did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING and said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. He just stood there when all of the sudden the employee started getting hyper telling us we are not allowed in their store. If an employee gets their feelings hurt by a customer that means you can refuse service and ban people from coming? They should not be in customer service then. I’m not sure if the employee was young or childish but she obviously doesn’t know how to be in customer service. Someone just tell her that was a wise decision to quit otherwise she will ban 90% of people who say anything to her even though she messes up orders and payments.

I waited a couple minutes was ready. Went straight home food was already cold, soggy no sign of a crispy skin. Very disappointed.

Ask the Sonic Owner... i just dont mind never coming back. (Had to get that dig in) STOP FORGETTING MY FOOD. Another thing. You see this picture? These DRY WINGS are swimming in an inch of oil. What did you do? Spoon the oil into my container? I don't understand this. If i wanted oil on the side, i would have ordered that. I don't even know what i could suggest to make things better. You choose bad employees with no passion for food or customer service. To top it off, did they just get released? Because they are beyond disheveled. Not appropriate for work. Trust me, i too, am a simple labor line worker. I am not paid well either. I still deliver quality customer service regardless of that fact. I have also been a hiring manager. So i get it you don't have much to choose from here. Still. Give me my refund from the 8 times plus i was missing food or you completely screwed the entire order up. This WingStop is ridiculous. The 2 guys behind the counter are answering phones and telling the people, “It’s going to be an hour and a half wait on your order” and also saying it to customers coming in. They’re laughing after they tell people how long the wait is, like it’s funny. The attitude of these 2 are disrespectful and unprofessional. The workers in the back are laughing and goofing off. I am here for a Doordash order, and have been waiting for 45 minutes. The fryers in the back are all filled with food that is ready, but for some reason they’re not getting the food out. This is absolutely ridiculous and frustrating. 0/10 recommended. There is hardly anyone in the dining area.
Took 40 min to get 8 boneless on a Monday night. Staff is more concerned with closing and cleaning than cooking and serving the customers. Most of the chairs were put up at 10pm but the sign says closes at12pm. This place is very poorly managed. I ordered veggies and got all carrots.

Ask the Sonic Owner... i just dont mind never coming back. (Had to get that dig in) STOP FORGETTING MY FOOD. Another thing. You see this picture? These DRY WINGS are swimming in an inch of oil. What did you do? Spoon the oil into my container? I don't understand this. If i wanted oil on the side, i would have ordered that. I don't even know what i could suggest to make things better. You choose bad employees with no passion for food or customer service. To top it off, did they just get released? Because they are beyond disheveled. Not appropriate for work. Trust me, i too, am a simple labor line worker. I am not paid well either. I still deliver quality customer service regardless of that fact. I have also been a hiring manager. So i get it you don't have much to choose from here. Still. Give me my refund from the 8 times plus i was missing food or you completely screwed the entire order up. This WingStop is ridiculous. The 2 guys behind the counter are answering phones and telling the people, “It’s going to be an hour and a half wait on your order” and also saying it to customers coming in. They’re laughing after they tell people how long the wait is, like it’s funny. The attitude of these 2 are disrespectful and unprofessional. The workers in the back are laughing and goofing off. I am here for a Doordash order, and have been waiting for 45 minutes. The fryers in the back are all filled with food that is ready, but for some reason they’re not getting the food out. This is absolutely ridiculous and frustrating. 0/10 recommended. There is hardly anyone in the dining area.
Zero 🌟 Beware don't order online. We never received our food for delivery. If any issue arises they will not take care of you over the phone. You will have to go into the store. Management is very unprofessional and will ignore until she gets good and ready to attend to you. Then will not speak with you or show any empathy. Just laughing in your face and state well idk what to tell you. The cashier has better customer service skills and etiquette than the manager. I will never deal with this establishment again.
Always something missing. I use wingstop app. Always order 2 meals one with veggies and one with fries.If my veggies aren't missing it's the fries! Ugh! Please make sure the order is right before setting for delivery! It's not like we don't pay for delivery soo frustrating. It should be known 2 como meals mean 2 sides unless advised no side.
I ordered my food waited 2 hours and got a call from the delivery guy saying that my order was lost in their system so it was never prepared. Then on top of that they can't refund my money for 7 business days and the poor delivery gets nothing for his lost time. They didn't even offer a coupon.....customer service 0/10
we ordered on the mobile app, the app said it would be ready in 10 minutes, it took over an hour for 2 meals!! ridiculously slow do not go to this wingstop
Absolutely the worst Wingstop location I have ever visited & it's by a long shot. The wife was craving some tenders from here, I decided to go pick some up since the app was not working. I showed up and noticed a long line from the register to the door & still, patiently waited for my turn. As it was my turn to order I walked up the counter & the girl working the register stared at me but did not say a single word. I proceeded to ask if I could place an order. She looked at me, (was very rude/annoyed that l asked and mildly rolled her eyes) then stated, "it's an hour wait" in the most annoyed tone ever. There was no "sorry for the inconvenience", "sorry for the wait" nothing. She vividly expressed how miserable she was to be there and taking it out on the costumers. This I location has lost a costumer for life. The worse costumer service skills I have ever witnessed at a WS. I will much rather take the extra time & travel to the Wingstop off of 87th than to ever step foot in this location again. Do yourself a favor & travel to any other WS other than the one on 42nd. Stressed employees , foods amazing , but cooks are slow , ordered at 6:25 it’s currently 7:40 still haven’t gotten my food , there’s people getting refunds because of slow service
Last couple of times I came I tasted a fishy flavor in the wings or some weird taste. It also seems like they’re getting lower quality chicken that’s like Tyson wings or buffs that’s real fatty. Also why don’t the guys where gloves while touching food they could be scratching their privates or go to the restroom and not wash their hands it’s just gross

Inside standing room only. Absolutely ridiculous. 30 ppl waiting for orders. Asked for refund, they tell me it can take up to 30 days. Never again, never again.

1 star only because Google doesn’t allow zero. Over an hour waiting for a pickup order, like they were raising the chickens out back. The staff looked like they were starring in a slow-motion horror comedy: completely disorganized, apathetic, and totally unaware of time. No updates, no apologies, just blank stares and attitude. This place isn’t a restaurant — it’s a masterclass in how to scare customers away. And by the way… if you ever want to witness chaos in restaurant form, come here. But bring a chair, some water, and maybe a 600-page book.
