This place is so special - belongs in a hallmark movie
The place is great. They made a cup of coffee so god damn good that I broke my "black coffee only rule" to try their maple cream cold brew and my GOD is it GREAT.
Stop here last couple times we've been town. Both locations are fantastic. Merchandise is expensive but high quality! Everything we have had has been on point! Cappuccino especially!
Excellent Coffee and a great smores cookie! We stopped in on a holiday weekend and there was a line out the door but, we were in an out in roughly 20 minutes. They had a good system going kukdos!
The Inlet location has always been my favorite coffee in the area and arguably top 3 in the world (and I've been to a lot of coffee shops haha) but the Old Forge location is something else. The layout and design touch reaches for something on the edge of what Old Forge has always felt like, combined with something subtley modern and "big city." It's elegant. Your choice of seating is brilliant. The mixture of lounge, big groups, individual seating and the experiential aspect of each type, like the bar style ind. Seating with a view of adk right there. You have it dialed in. Your excellence with coffee, experience and the right amount of uniqueness and loyalty to the old spirits. It's fantastic. You are naturals.
Amazing coffee. Fantastic souvenirs. Every trip to Old Forge means one (or more!) visit to Blue Line.
Best coffees around. They have much better coffee than Ozzies. The maple spice latte is one of the best lattes in my opinion! They have a gift shop in there too.
Drove 30 miles back and forth 2 days in a row from blue mountain lake because this place is awesome. Great ambiance, good coffee, fun specials, nice staff, clean bathroom, and cool sales floor with souvenirs and HomeGoods.
Coffee was good, but need more staff. Just one barista isn't enough. a bunch of people came in and she was swamped. Other than that it was great!
This is a great place to stop and get a coffee! The coffee here is great! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for coffee in downtown Old Forge!
Finally a real cup of coffee available in winter old forge ....need another place like this more and more snowmobilers don't drink but will pay for premium quality coffee in a nice atmosphere. Dive bars are a thing of the past....
We make it a point to stop in almost daily while on vacation there and now I just had 2 boxes of s’mores k-cup delivered. Even got a nice hand written thank you note in the order. Love them very much. Cant wait to see you next year!!!
Visiting Blue Line during my first trip to Old Forge was high on my bucket list, and I was not disappointed! Great variety of coffee and drinks (get the s’mores latte hot or iced, it’s amazing!), lots of unique ADK themed gifts and souvenirs, and a fun vibe throughout the shop. The wait is a little long, but with a line out the door on Labor Day Weekend, you just need to have some patience. Really loved it here and can’t wait to come back!
We made multiple stops here while on our family week vacation. Great coffee & ambiance, kid friendly and also has some of the best ADK apparel options to purchase!
Great coffee! I ordered the Iced Birch Latte, a carmel and vanilla delight! There are baked goods too, but I did not order any. It's a good spot for souvenirs, too!
Really nice local coffee shop right in Old Forge. Inviting atmosphere and great coffee! Our go-to every time we pass through or stop in town.
Not only is the ADK Cold Brew my morning goto when I'm in town. But, shout out to the people who were giving away eclipse glasses FOR FREE when the town had sold out of them days ago. They had employees on the beach handing out specs to make sure everyone could get a good safe look. Solid community peoples.
Amazing place especially for such a remote area. I would put their products up against any place in a big city.
The drinks were AMAZING‼️ We got some of their specials and they were all delicious. The cashier was so nice and the place was beautiful. I highly recommend this place😁😁
The details on this coffee shop are exceptional. But the signature drinks were incredible. The lavendar sparkling lemonade hit the spot after hiking up bald mtn.
Great coffee shop with a wide selection including great specials. There is also a great little gift shop in the coffee house. Will definitely be a must for any of our future trips to the Adirondacks.
A trendy coffee shop with a hip aesthetic. Lots of specially drink options at a good price, with additional merchandise around the store. The place can get pretty cramped during busier periods of the day, but the wait usually isn't too bad.
Good coffee, I heard Kevin Bacon frequents this place!
I'm sorry I didn't tip Frances. She seemed kinda ticked!!! I was so excited that we found a coffee shop and my husband pulled over and I jumped out .we were on our way back from Lake placid.Im a senior and we never tipped where we get coffee i worked at McDonald'sand weren'tallowed to take tip and coffee less then $1.not$6.12!!!.But I just googled it and I guess I'm falling behind the times.Im sorry Frances...Loved the hot latte with chocolate mint..great job!!
Certainly the best coffee in OF. Can get extremely busy, with the line going out the door. But the coffee is made quickly, and the OF/ADK merch is really appealing!
My favorite coffee place!! My husband and I make special trips from Herkimer area to Old Forge just to get a delicious iced S'mores Latte and enjoy a scenic drive.
Great little place with fantastic beverages. Got the Birch Latte with an extra shot if espresso, not sicky sweet, really just pretty perfect, my friend got the morning mist and raves about it.. Staff were very friendly. Shopping items are of excellent quality.
My wife and I absolutely LOVED this place. Some of the best coffee we’ve had. It was our first time to Old Forge and we’ve already decided that Blue Line is our #1 go-to for coffee. We wish we had one of these in our hometown!
My favorite place to get coffee! Staff is always super friendly and helpful, great team they have! I always stock up on their bagged beans (which are amazing!) to avoid going when it's busy, lines can go out the door at times.
Really cool mountain town coffee house vibes. Super unique and friendly place and it was on such a beautiful day where they could have all their large windows wide open. I wish I had taken some pictures. The wife and I ordered a couple pumpkin white chocolate lattes to go and they were flipping unbelievable. So delicious and got me all wired for my drive back to Watertown, lol. Great place to stop to grab a coffee and enjoy the crisp smells of mountain town nature of Old Forge.
Cute coffee shop. Also includes some merchandise you can by. However, where this place really stands out is their drink menu. Even if you are not into caffeinated drinks, they have plenty to choose from. For me, I went with the Peanut Butter Frappe. It was very tasty. I will have to stop again whe ever I am near.
Super sweet coffee shop- lovely aesthetic with garage style windows that open to let the breeze in. Comfortable seating to sit and relax for a while. Delicious smoothies and great service! I'm usually not a fan of a lot of merchandise in coffee shops, but the items here are really awesome for Adirondack/hiking lovers
We haven't ever eaten there, just coffee and it's always great. There is some comfortable seating inside and chairs out to watch the traffic go by. The staff are always welcoming.
Great coffee stop! Dog friendly as well!.
Coffee is so good, I look forward to it every year. It does get pretty busy but they move quickly so don’t be intimidated if you see a crowd. Gift shop is cute, all the baked goods we’ve tried have been delicious. Love Blue Line!!!
In the past two weeks, I’ve taken 35 people to this coffee shop and we all loved our drinks. The staff did not show any disinterest in our groups of at least 15 people ordering at a time. We will definitely keep them in mind on our next outdoors trip for Utica University
Served Blue Line medium roast while visiting friends in Old Forge. The best coffee ever! It puts Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks to shame.
we really like this place. went 3 times on our trip! smores coffee was good strawberry banana smoothies and chocolate protein drink.
This is a great place and the original i think is in Inlet. We loved that place also. Service and ambiance is great. This is a great coffee shop in a quality gift shop. Service is fast and friendly. There are places ti sit inside
Excellent espresso. Friendly service. Cute shop.
Stopped in before our trek back to Buffalo NY this morning. Got there right at opening time. I got dark roast coffee and apple pecan muffin. Wow. That's all I can say. The coffee is so good. The muffin was fresh and delicious. Will definitely order online and be back!
Very good coffee. I normally get my fix at another favorite little joint in town but tried blue line for the first time and the mocha latte is perfection. We'll have to see about their cappuccino.
fun atmosphere and incredible coffee and matcha. so many fun local goods and trinkets to get as well
Cool coffee shop in Old Forge, NY. Service was friendly and the cold brew was solid. The shaken s'mores, which I had twice over the course of the weekend, was great: 3 shots of espresso, oat milk, and roasted marshmallow; it just slightly edged out pumpkin spice cold brew with maple cold foam as my favorite drink this past weekend. The apple pie cookie was also really tasty.
I got a mocha here and it had the perfect amount of foam and it didn't taste like hot chocolate! It was excellent. Nice amount of coffee-related merchandise in the store. Located in a great town. I would stop here again!
Best coffee in town. Muffins also highly recommended. Great service, great ambiance, outdoor seating!
The reviews speak for themselves. The coffee is one of the best around, great atmosphere and vibe, highly recommend! ☕️ 😋
Super cute coffee shop with many options. I got the Peanut Butter protein drink, took a while to make, and cost $10 but it was very good! Muffin was delicious. They have some shirts and souvenirs type things for sale you can look at while you are waiting in line or waiting for your drink to be made.
What a cute and delicious coffee shop! Some great merch too. Loved the creative names of their drinks- brings in the Adirondack vibe
This is a must visit if you’re in the area or at Enchanted Forest leave the park and make the short nice walk here. Coffee was top notch. Shop items are very pricey in my opinion but do seem of the utmost quality to justify it to those that have the means to purchase them. Fantastic seating areas to enjoy your coffee as well. Person who took my order was very polite and smiled as if she was happy to take my order ☺️
We recommend the maple vanilla latte! No matter how long the line is, it always moves fast. Recently, we tried their muffins, which were delightful! They have a fun shop attached to their cafe with many Adirondack souvenirs. Always a favorite stop whether we are staying in town or passing through.
We stopped in for coffee and treats, and picked up a sweatshirt as well. Everything was awesome!
This is always our first stop when we go to the ADK and then go there every day while we’re there. The best coffee drinks I’ve ever had, the vibes of the place are just so welcoming and comforting, and the apparel I’ve gotten from here over the years is so comfy, great quality, holds up well!
I had the Maple Spice and my wife had the Rocky Mountain. They were both delicious, but we both liked hers better. Great coffee, highly recommended.
This has been the best coffee stop that we have tried so far. It takes a lot to impress my husband and oldest daughter, which they did. We also got some coffee to take home. The seasonal chai was good as well. Besides drinks, they have merchandise for you to purchase.
Best coffee in the Adirondacks hands down. authentic espresso couldn't belive this is in old forge felt like a coffee shop in nyc with the Adirondack flare. ive been craving an americano it was exactly what I needed ☕️ thanks blue line! Cant wait to check out the inlet shop.
Got the smores latte and it was delicious! Friendly service, great atmosphere. Lots of cute gifts and things for sale.
Numerous latte selection. But like Starbucks, you only get two espresso shots in a large latte which is the same as the small latte. Line extended out the door. Small cramped space inside. Sparse inside seating. Some outdoor seating. No one seemed to mind any of the inconveniences since the reward was a great latte.
The ADK coffee line is a MUST-visit, with excellent coffee options in Old Forge & Inlet - calling it high-quality coffee that they serve here would be doing this fine establishment a disservice. It's EXCEPTIONAL. I highly recommend the frozen hot chocolate, and definitely the espresso (Personally, I get a quad shot a day). Also, the shops are all bastions of excellent memorabilia shopping, with classy cups, pennants, coffee paraphernalia, and apparel.
The coffee is always good. The smores latte is a must. Their baked goods never disappoint! The white chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies have the perfect hint of coconut. The blueberries in the blueberry muffin tastes fresh, and the muffin isn't over sweetened. I love the variety in local made crafts/goods in the shop (coffee mugs, candles, books, bags, hats, shirts etc)
I really enjoyed stopping into Blue Line. The staff behind the counter were extremely kind and whipped up one of the most delicious hot lattes I’ve had. The menu included many signature lattes that all sounded very delicious. I also treated myself to an apple pecan muffin which hit the spot thoroughly. The atmosphere was cozy and a lot of people seemed to be chatting and enjoying the space. Highly recommend stopping in for a latte!
Although I felt like the customers hanging out were eyeballing me, the barista was a cool guy. I can't remember the last time I bought blindly for my wife and she loved it. She barely likes the things she normally orders personally. Lol. Could be a new spot for me next summer!
All the coffees ☕ & Specialty Drink's are all well made to your liking. I'm a D&D Royal Fan but this place is definitely the next best Thing. Plus they have a very nice collection of Adirondack Merchandise.
This is a gift shop that sells coffee. The coffee is good. Most of the place is t-shirts and only a few places to sit. Service is good and coffee is good so just get it to go!
Both this location and thr inlet location are great. However the girls working the counter who were super polite and nice, have a couple issues. They completely screwed up spelling and pronouncing names. First was my cousin who's First name is Country. The girl who wrote the name spelled it without an R, so the other girl stood there calling out County. Second, my son asked fornhis nick name on the cup. Green Odin. Odin has been spelled this way for hundreds of years, yet on the cup was written gren Oden. Spelling should be a key concept for hiring, not allowing one to rely on google.
It has a really downed earth. Type of feel and The coffee was really good.
Came here from out of town. The coffee was the best I’ve ever had. They have lots of (overpriced) merchandise that takes up space in the facility. When they are busy, it gets very crowded in there due to this. I’d rather have them remove some merchandise to add more seating inside. Also, there’s only one door to get in and out of the place. Quite annoying when you’re the person waiting in the door in line, and you have to keep moving for people. I see this as a fire hazard as well. I’d definitely go back when in the area, the place feels just needs renovation.
It was a bit of a wait but the coffee is good and the store is cute.
Awesome cafe with many options that will fit any diet. The drinks are very high a quality made with great ingredients which is why it’s a bit pricey. It’s definitely a must place to visit while in Old Forge but because it’s so great, at certain times the line can get long. There is also many souvenirs that are also high quality but once again a bit pricey.
This is not exactly a "coffee house", there majority of the apace is taken by stuff for sale. There's a little area where you can sit and wait for your brew to be prepared and then enjoy it. I ordered Red Eye. Coffee drink was decent to my liking but nothing special, thus 4 stars. I wish it were more spacious for sitting. This is definitely not a "Cafe" place. Thank you!
This has to be the most unfriendly coffee house I’ve ever been to. They talk to you like your in the military. I’d go out of my way to never come to this place again. On the other hand. Good coffees. Comfortable setting
The chocolate chip cookie was really good but the iced lattes were just okay. The beans are either too coarse or aren't a dark enough roast, tasted more like iced coffee than a latte. Also, I'm fine with espresso not being stirred in but please stir in the syrups.
Nice atmosphere. Yummy drinks/ muffins. Unfortunately the barista only made half my order and then started on the next person, and the next person, and the next. leaving me to wait and have to ask another employee for the rest of my order. Got back to our campground to find out we were also shorted a muffin. Wish I didn’t spend $50 to be pushed aside and not even receive all of my items.
Cute place. Nice Adirondack chair seating outside. Cashier girl was apathetic, impersonal, and acted as if the customers were an inconvenience. Latte was lacking flavor and cookie was just mediocre.
I bought espresso beans so I could use the espresso in an espresso machine. I asked first if she could grind it, making sure she understood that I needed it for an espresso machine. She said yes. I got home and it was ground for drip coffee, not espresso. So, I called back and asked her if they could grind it like espresso (fine) and she said that they don’t have the ability to grind their espresso beans to be useful in an espresso machine. (Which isn’t really true because they make lattes all day long) Now I have a bag of espresso that does not work best for regular coffee or as espresso. A true waste of money. The issue is this: a barista should know the difference. It’s quite literally their job. If they can’t grind espresso beans to become espresso powder, they should not offer to grind it. It’s useless to the customer if it’s ground for drip coffee. **She charged me for a bag of espresso and immediately made it worthless as espresso coffee.** Basically, I wouldn’t expect them to get your drink right if they don’t know the difference between espresso and ground coffee. I’m out $13.
Super cool exterior and interior leads you to believe you'll get a high quality cup off coffee. Service was pleasant and quick as it wasn't busy. Super disappointed! This mocha frappe tasted like old coffee grounds flash blended with whip cream on top. Note the coffee grounds floating on top. Yuck, tossed it out.
The coffee was genuinely horrendous. My cat could make it better. My shaken espresso was 1. Not 3 shots of espresso, you can’t brew three shots from a single pull 2. Brewed directly over ice into a plastic cup and 3. The now ruined shots were then shaken one single time in a blender bottle then poured back into the same plastic cup.
