Il cibo è buonissimo e il posto è grande e con le vetrate vista montagne e ai percorsi che si possono fare, le cameriere sono molto brave e gentili e i bagni sono molto puliti ed sono eccellenti

Tipica baita di montagna, pochi piatti ma buoni, ho chiesto la polenta concia anche se non era nel menù e sono stato accontentato, tutto molto saporito.

Visto così da fuori non mi convinceva ,ma mi sono fidanzato delle recensioni e non ho sbagliato, piatti tipici gustosissimi, (come cucinava la nonna), da leccarsi i baffi , porzioni abbondanti, consigliato.

Ho prenotato in settimana per pranzare la domenica alle 12 (primo turno). Oltre ad aver mangiato bene sia per qualità che per quantità del cibo proposto ho atteso solo 10 minuti dall' ordinazione ( ero preoccupato in quanto i tavoli si sono riempiti tutti contemporaneamente). Bravi, torneremo sicuramente

Historic restaurant on Mottarone! Generous and authentic dishes! Long live the Polenta!! I strongly recommend booking because it's always busy, especially when the ski lifts are open! Quick and friendly service.

Location: 5/5, fantastic. The exterior is wonderful and cool in every season, with outdoor tables and umbrellas. The interior is very quaint, made of wood and stone, warm and welcoming. Food: 5/5 Exactly what you'd expect from a refuge: taragna polenta, various excellent, truly fantastic meats, mountain cheeses, good wine, and desserts that are a steal at €3 each. Bill: 4/5 It's reasonable: €30 per person for a fantastic meal, 2 liters of wine, coffee, and desserts. It's reasonable. Service: 3/5 Adequate, but slow and disorganized. The crowded place certainly created some confusion, but it didn't justify a 40-minute wait. Despite the wait, RECOMMENDED for the price and the food: both very good.

Posto molto bello, cibo buono.abbiamo finito di mangiare molto veloce perché faceva abbastanza freddo in locale e anche cibo raffreddato velocemente.

Pleasant lunch, reservations for two times: 12:00 or 14:00. You can also dine outside on benches and tables under umbrellas. Quick and orderly service. The bathrooms are upstairs, so I'm not sure how disabled people would cope.

Characterful place. Too bad that in order to accommodate as many people as possible at once, once you sit down in one place you can't get up for the entire meal. Like being in a can of sardines!

Very beautiful environment, the most beautiful in the area, I'd say. The food is fine for a shelter where it's difficult to bring good food. But since it's easy to get there by car, much more could be done... P.S. Throw out the cat bowls and use ceramic ones!

A cozy mountain hut in a truly beautiful panoramic location. Two fixed-price menus featuring stewed meats, cheeses (four slices accompanied by a little jam), and polenta. The price is a bit expensive for a CAI restaurant. The meat portions were normal; we had to split a portion of polenta between two people. We weren't impressed with the service; we asked the staff too many questions to figure out the portion sizes. No.
