We had such a great experience at Gloria’s! Our waitress was super friendly and attentive, and everything we ordered was delicious. We tried the ribeye steak, fried octopus appetizer, and the carne asada — all cooked perfectly. The strawberry daiquiri was amazing! At checkout, they even asked how our meal was and invited us to come back for their happy hours and mariachi nights. They also offer free family photos, which is such a thoughtful touch. From where we sat, we could see into the kitchen, and it was spotless and well-organized, a great sign. We’ll definitely be back!

All the way from the El Paso Borderland. We’re very particular with our Mexican cuisine. Gloria did not miss. The atmosphere is impressive, with beautiful decor and an outside patio. Look fantastic and clean. As you walk in, you're greeted with good customer service and friendly people with smiles. The food was fresh after every bite, and the tortillas were made in-house. You can taste it if you know your tortillas, just like Abuelitas! The Carne Asada tacos are a great portion and size for the price, and the rice and beans were fresh. If you’re in the area, give them a try. I have to come back. And they have the mariachis playing, thank you for your great service. Muy amable! 🇲🇽💚

Gloria’s Cocina Mexicana in Claremont is a revelation! Stumbling upon it after a car show a few weeks ago was a stroke of luck. The birria Jalisco was phenomenal—each tender, flavorful bite felt like a heartfelt connection to my ancestors, bursting with authentic, soul-warming spices. Every dish was delicious, showcasing vibrant Mexican flavors. The service? Impeccable, with warm, attentive staff who made us feel like family. The lively ambiance lit up my ojos de tapatío! Generous portions, fair prices, and an unforgettable experience make Gloria’s a 10/10. I’m already craving a return visit! I was so in the moment I forgot to take pictures, next time I'll get photos.

I Drove almost two hours from LA to this restaurant to celebrate my niece's birthday on a Saturday night. They had street parking and parking lots across the street. They were all pretty full so I had a far walk in heels (not fun). When I get there, there are a lot of people having dinners, live music from the mariachis, and major party vibes. They gave us a private section in the back which was great since we had a large party. There were tvs with subtitle captions so the men in our families could watch the Laker game. We ordered the following: complimentary chips & salsa, mango chimoy frozen margarita, cucumber jalapeño frozen margarita, nachos with carne asada on the side, Coctel ceviche, Enchiladas Suizas de Queso with shrimp, Mocajete- Mar, Cielo, Tierra, queso fundido, fried fish (tilapia), wet burrito and more. Although I did like my enchiladas, nothing really stood out here. The nachos and ceviche were not good and the fish although tasty had too many bones. We would have liked more cheese on the nachos and less onions in the ceviche with fresher fish. All in all this restaurant seems like a fun place to go on a Saturday night. They even have a connecting bar/club that a lot of people were coming to when we were leaving. Our waiter Carlos and the rest of the staff were nice and the mariachis were amazing! Vibes-10, Service- 9, and Food-7. It was a great experience but I've definitely had better Mexican food elsewhere so probably won't be back.

Love this place! There are two different dining spaces, live Mariachi side and the bar and dance floor side. We prefer the Mariachi side because my husband and I love to conversate with each other during dinner but the bar side is very fun and lively. We've sat in both. I wouùld say just trying the entire menu. Most likely you won't be disappointed. Hoping this restaurant stay open for a very very long time.

My husband and I had a wonderful Easter Sunday at Gloria’s Cocina Mexicana on Euclid Ave! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a festive celebration. We started with some delicious tacos that were packed with flavor and topped generously with fresh ingredients. The enchiladas were equally delightful, smothered in rich sauce and accompanied by perfectly cooked rice and beans. For a sweet ending, we couldn’t resist the dessert! The fried ice cream was a showstopper—crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, topped with whipped cream and a cherry. It was the perfect way to finish our meal. The service was friendly and attentive, making our experience even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be returning for more authentic Mexican cuisine! Highly recommend Gloria’s for a delightful dining experience!

Every year a group of us meet at Gloria's for lunch. We sit in the lovely Freda Room and the service is always excellent. The staff is very accommodating and the food is good.

Food was just ok for me. Had the combination plate with a chile relleno with a chicken tamale the relleno didnt have that much flavor and definitely needed more cheese. Tamale was ok made with a lot of masa and not so much meat but flavor was good. Rice and beans were just ok...overall not the worst place I've eaten. Ceviche tosta mixta was good. Plenty of limes for it. Atmosphere is great should have sat in the bar area...probably won't eat there again though.

Food was decent. Service was okay. My main reason for feedback is the trumpet player. Live bands are awesome. But they suck if you cannot hear the entire band because the trumpet player wants to be as loud as possible. Last two times I was here their trumpet player had no control over his volume. Please use a far stronger mute or get a Flugelhorn for him. Tiled floors, hard walls, no fabric hangings, make the restraunt an echo chamber, not a concert hall, plan your music accordingly. Different trumpets, bells (trumpet part), mutes are used depending on where someone is playing. Learn the difference. I won't go back until I can be there without earplugs.
