I have been receiving flyers for years now to visit this restaurant and now finally got to go. The lunch specials all looked so good but I settled on the eggplant and added meat. It came with soup, egg roll, and rice. The food was very good and the service was excellent. i look forward to coming here again the decor was really nice and give you something to appreciate while you wait, which did not take long at all.

I'm Cantonese Chinese and I adore my people's cuisine. When I found out that there was a Hong Kong-style Canto restaurant in Orange near my workplace, I was so happy. I'm going to go here for more work lunches! Lunch deals here are good, but I think they shine more in their entrees. I really enjoy their chow mein, particularly their pan fried combination egg noodle. Lastly, not only service was quality, but I appreciate the ambience and calm atmosphere of the restaurant.

I recently dined at Dynasty, a popular Chinese restaurant located at 1407 East Katella Avenue in Orange, California. As a fan of Chinese cuisine, I was eager to try their lunch special. Here's my take: 1. **Mongolian Beef with White Rice**: The lunch special featured Mongolian Beef, and it exceeded my expectations. The tender beef was perfectly cooked, and the savory sauce had just the right balance of flavors. Paired with fluffy white rice, it made for a satisfying meal. 2. **Green Tea**: The green tea at Dynasty deserves a special mention. It was undoubtedly the best I've had in Orange County. The subtle aroma and soothing warmth complemented the meal beautifully. 3. **Service**: The waitress was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. Her warm demeanor made the meal even more enjoyable. In summary, Dynasty offers a delightful dining experience with its flavorful dishes, excellent service, and inviting ambiance. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, this restaurant is worth a try. I'll definitely be returning for more of their delicious offerings!

Tried the new restaurant menu via takeout- we got the Peking Duck, Filet mignon w/mushroom in black pepper sauce, and spicy wonton and I was pleasantly surprised by their clean and neat packaging and food was delicious, minus the spicy wonton. I would definitely go back and try the rest of their menu.

Well executed dishes. Scallion pancake light and flavorful. Eggplant very tender. Chow mein perfectly crunchy and Hong Kong style duck was perfect. Vegetable fried rice was delicate, bright flavors with broccoli perfectly cooked. Attentive service and beautiful decor. Our new favorite Chinese restaurant.

This is the GREATEST Chinese food I have ever had! I am so happy that we found this restaurant! We didn't eat Chinese food that often but now we eat more often because the food of this restaurant is so good. We tried Basil fish fillet in black sauce, mussels, roasted duck, juicy pork dumplings, roasted pork belly, Kung Pao shrimp, sauteed clams with basil, orange beef, eggplant, baby bokchoi with mushroom, house special fried vermicelli, yeung chow, shrimp fried rice. All the food we tried was tasty! The portion was VERY generous. And the food is not salty, which we like. We ordered takeout multiple times, and they carefully packaged the food in sturdy containers and extra plastic bags for saucy food (no leakage of food and smell). I highly recommend this place!

A fantastic Cantonese Chinese restaurant that has just opened! I just happened to stumble upon it and more more than thoroughly impressed! A wide range of dishes, great portion size, very reasonable prices, and fantastic taste on everything. I am very pleased to have found this restaurant and I wish them all the best!

E

Nice place Kung pao beef was good, sweet-and-sour chicken was crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. Service was good although not that busy at 4:30 on the Wednesday afternoon. Good size portions too.

My wife and I walked in around noon on father's day. It was packed but we got right in. We had pot stickers, house fried rice, and orange chicken. The food was good and the staff was friendly. We enjoyed it, and we'll be back.

The foods are really good. Big portions, good prices and great taste! They packs the foods really well for to go. It is a little bit far from my home, but it is worth the drive. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Service could be improved on for sure, but I would give it a couple more months since they just opened recently. In terms of food...well, it is true CANTON CHINESE food. I think some people are expecting American Chinese, which can be more flavorful and salty, or Taiwanese Chinese, which is a different style and flavor of Chinese food. For me, this is the stuff I grew up with, and the next best thing from this restaurant would be to go to Hong Kong yourself. This is the best Canton Chinese restaurant in the OC. I come here so often, they recognize me.

Everything was so delicious and fresh! The have all of the favorites, including soup dumplings. Even just the simple iced tea was so freshly brewed and had hint of mango. The service was excellent and they are able to make vegetarian modifications or advise which items and modifications for dietary restrictions.

We went back around opening and were surprised to see the low ratings now. We absolutely loved the food. It seems some people also might not realize some dishes are also meant to be served cold, as other restaurants serve similar dishes similar ways. I had come with my husband, father and sister. My sister was "not hungry", and ended up falling in love with the food we ordered - peking duck and roasted pork belly. She ate half the serving of spicy dumplings, too. The 2 dishes and appetizer were great. Did not mind paying for rice, as that seems to be most places now anyways. Service was so kind and attentive to us despite that we came in around 30-40 minutes before they closed. This is definitely a place worth trying!

T

Very yummy. Their pan fried chow mein is good. Their dim sum is good. Filet mignon cubes with mushrooms in a black pepper sauce was good. Soup was good. Veggies good quality. Ya quite pleased, and a nice clean environment. People that leave 1 star idk what their problem is. There was just 2 of us but we ordered like there was 4 of us hahah

We came here to celebrate a job promotion. We made reservations through Google Maps. We were there at 5:30 and it was very quiet, but it started to fill up by 6:30 when we left. We picked four entrees to share. All were good. Some thought the Mongolian beef was too salty, but I thought it was fine. Orange peel chicken was delicious. So was the vegetarian fried rice and the chow mein. The service was attentive but not too much. They do not serve dessert.

M
Maxim Ivchenko

I received their menu in the mail. Usually I throw these things away but I keep this one for some reason. So, my family and I looked through it and decided what we wanted. I went to their website to order. I was slightly upset to find I was outside of their delivery zone, so it meant I had to drive there. You know, I am glad I did. The food tastes awesome, it was well packed and the portions are plentiful. We ordered different dishes to share and we liked all of them. I am glad I discovered this restaurant, and I’ll be back.

Long lunch hours 11 am to 3:30 pm. Generous lunch portions with many familiar Chinese menu items. Prices are comparable to other local Chinese restaurants given the state of the economy.

Husband and I went to Dynasty last night. It was late, 9.15 and they were open til 10 on Sat. Welcomed and seated quickly. They are still on "soft opening" and grand opening date is TBA. The food was excellent and the servings were HUGE! We ordered pork fried rice, honey walnut shrimp and sweet and sour prawns. Oh, SO good! The shrimps were big! We will try Dynasty again soon. This is the best Chinese food I've had in a long time. The menu was extensive. Parking was easy. We sat at a booth, and there were many tables. Sorry no pics. I was too hungry!

J
Jami Pickering

We've been looking for a new place since Pink Chopsticks closed, and we've finally found it! We ordered numerous entrées and shared family style. Everything was delicious, but the honey walnut shrimp was the best I've ever had. The service was outstanding, as well. We will definitely be back!

Recently dined here for lunch as a party of two. The restaurant was lightly busy and we were seated promptly by one of the three waitstaff on duty. We ended up ordering the house-special fried rice, seafood udon stir-fry, honey walnut shrimp, and French-styled fillet mignon. The dishes arrived after only a quick 10min wait. Everything was hot and well-seasoned and in fairly large portions. Additionally, waitstaff helped to bag our leftovers when we were finished with our meal. Definitely had an enjoyable experience, and looking forward to eating here again in the near future.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in Orange County! I ordered 3 times for to go at this restaurant. They also pack the foods really well. I couldn't smell any food while driving back home. The foods are excellent and the portions are Big! My family eats 3 or 4 times the ordered foods. My wife's favorite is 'Fish roe baked mussels'. She really loves it. I ordered it every time. My family is trying to eat different foods every time because we want to taste all the menus. The foods are not salty, not too sweet and the ingredients are very fresh. The prices are also very good. I usually order 6 menues including 1 appetizer(the mussels), but it is just about $100. If you like portk, please try 'Roasted pork belly'. If this restaurant is in Irvine or Tustin, you have to wait for long time to eat. I highly recommend this restaurant. 5 stars!

J
Jonnie gray

We got “take out” order consisting of sautéed clams with Basil, Basil Fish Fillet in black pepper sauce and Sizzling Beef Udon with black pepper. Lots of food! Big portions and all was excellent—fresh and flavorful! Very pleased with the packaging for “to go” order too! Left overs for 2 days and still maintained great taste—no waste! Two thumbs up and 5 stars! Reasonable prices for the quality.

First of all very friendly staff, Service was top-notch, Food was hot and tasty. I forgot to take a photo. However we had the string bean and chicken, The lomein noodles, The orange peel chicken. It was all very good so much food I got to take some home and I'll have it for lunch later. I highly recommend this place it used to be called the fortune cookie and it's really a step up from that.

I can only go off my experience but my wife and I could not remember any time we’ve ever had better Chinese food. The server was well informed and gave us a very good recommendation. All 3 items we ordered were fresh. Despite all being beef, they did not taste the same. The udon noodles with beef were outstanding. The Mongolian beef was very tender. The orange peel beef was impossibly good. Ambiance and atmosphere were impressive and not cheap looking. Even the water tasted clean and didn’t have a tap after-taste or flavor. I’m no expert, but best Chinese food i’ve ever had. Highest recommendation.

We had lunch here a few months ago. The food was very good and the service was excellent. The manager took the time to offer suggestions and explain the menu/answering our questions. A somewhat quiet restaurant with good quality food. We like to take visitors their for good Chinese food rather than having to drive all the way to Monterey Park or Hacienda Heights. Living in Orange County, there aren't so many good ones to choose from. Dynasty never disappoints.

My friends brought me here yesterday to celebrate my birthday, this was my first time here. The dishes were very tasty and fresh and served hot. Waiters were friendly and attentive. Came here for a banquet lunch for a party. I'm surprised there's a decent Canto resto in the city of Orange with a modern interior. 1st: Walnut shrimp 👍🏻 good 2nd: Shredded chicken 👏 best dish 3rd: Fried rice w/ shrimp 👌 bland 4th: Peking duck 👌 average 5th: Fried fish 👎 soggy 6th: Steamed fish 👌 overcooked There was quite a wait for each dish after the 2nd one, it took ~2 hours for the 5 courses. Banquet service is not necessarily a true representation of dinner service.

We received a very nice menu through postal service in our mailbox and decided to try it. Overall the food was good. The sizzling beef udon noodles were a bit over cooked. The orange peel beef was decent. Service was a bit awkward I am guessing because they just opened. The place is new so the decor is brand new. I am willing to try it again if around the neighborhood.

If I say that this might be the best Chinese restaurant in the area to host a party (and it is), it's only because it is the only good size, clean, decent Chinese food in the area. You can drive further for better food but if you are in the area, it's worth it

B

Was looking for old style Chinese food. This is Americanized. What we had was tasty just not what we wanted. You don't get rice with the entrees -extra. Muscle appetizer was sweet! On the fence on this one. Pricey.

This place is legit Cantonese despite how un-Chinese the place is decorated. Ordered takeout online/picked up. Food was ready on time and packed neatly: Poached chicken with ginger - the best!!! So, tender and flavorful! Definitely would return for this alone. The roast duck - was solid, what you would expect from a real Chinese place. The BBQ pork/char sui - good flavor, but pieces too lean. I like my char sui fatty. Positive takeout experience. Next time, I will try dining here.

Went with a friend. The walnut shrimp was excellent! The orange beef, quite the opposite. Looked great but very salty and no other flavor. Strong flour presense.

The dining experience didn't start off great because the cloth napkins smelled like they haven't been washed thoroughly. All of the plates were greasy, too; see 1st pic. The beer was overchilled, leaving a layer of ice floating at the top of the glass; see 2nd pic. "Ice cold beer" is just an expression—it shouldn't literally be icy. Items ordered: house special string beans, French style filet mignon, honey walnut shrimp, chicken lo mein, and pot stickers (not pictured). The food was good, but there were several issues with some of the dishes. The pot stickers tasted a little undercooked because they were too soft and doughy. The lo mein felt a little dry and tasted a little bland compared to the other dishes, so it could do better with a little more sauce. There was very little chicken in the lo mein as well. The service had some good parts and some bad parts. They sat us quickly, and were quick to serve us our food. They even bagged our leftovers for us at the end. I'm taking off some stars for the dirty dishes, the smelly napkins, and the partially frozen beer. Seriously, the condition of those dishes and napkins is unacceptable for any restaurant.

I'm taking off some stars for the dirty dishes, the smelly napkins, and the partially frozen beer. Seriously, the condition of those dishes and napkins is unacceptable for any restaurant.

Let me start with the Restaurant is very nice and clean with a great atmosphere. We went during lunch and there was only one poor waiter waiting on like 7 tables so I can't be mad at our poor service...the man was trying and he was pleasant. But let's get down to the food...my orange peep chicken was pretty good but my noodles were a weird gray color and tasted like Ajax or some kind of cleaning agent. I asked my husband to try it and he said the same thing. My husband's Kung pao chicken was so salty we couldn't eat it. Both of us had walls bad tastes in pur mouth the rest of the night with stomachaches. We will not be coming back.

I've been to this place a handful of times and the food has consistently been good in the past, but today the food was quite disappointing. The honey walnut shrimp was unpalatable. Orange chicken was lacking meat and tasted like fried dough. Bok Choi with mushrooms was not even bok choi and had no flavor. Shrimp fried rice had a burning smell that was unpleasant. I paid too much to be let down, have they made any modifications to the chef? Going to Panda express is a better option.

Ok so where do I begin. I also like another review received a nice menu advertisement in the mail and to be honest I would have been better off eating that piece of paper 😞. Trust me, I am a person to always give the benefit of the doubt and all that but this was unexcusable. The Kung Pao chicken came out first. Would have been better off cooking it at home. Second came the double delicacy. It was freaking ice cold! When I told them then they asked me if I wanted it to be microwaved. Also be prepared to pay for white rice none of my three entrees came with it.

A very nice restaurant that I learned about from a circular. It took ages for my order to be taken, and, when the food finally arrived, it was less than mediocre. So disappointed.... Next time I'll hit the corner fast food chain.

My girlfriends and I were very disappointed with the dishes we were served: Scrambled egg white with crab (chef’s specialty - good); honey walnut shrimp (batter was too thick); Orange chicken (no flavor); Mongolian beef ( meat was NOT tender); eggplant with minced pork (okay);yeung chow fried rice (recommended by the manager - not good); shrimp lo mein (okay). My daughter informed me that Chef Chen was former Chinese Executive Chef at Latham Pasadena Hotel (previously Four Seasons Hotel). So I went in with the expectation of that caliber of food. I could not believe the dishes were prepared by Chef Chen, so I asked the lady at the cash register if the dishes were prepared by Chef Chen and she replied “YES”. I informed her I had a higher expectation from dishes prepared by Chef Chen. My friends and I will not go back to dine at Dysnasty.

Let me just say my wife and I go here at least twice a week. Let's average it to $175 a week spent at this place My wife was sick last night and I ordered delivery thru chownow. I saw the driver was at a park for 30-40 mins (they use Uber) with the "picking up your order" header. So I calm Dynasty. She says the foods been ready for over 30mins. Cool, cancel the order please. "No, if I cancel we lose money, so we won't do that" Ok fine. I'll cancel through chownow. Takes an hour of active phone calls to cancel. Screw the restaurant, it's so disrespectful. All your food you made is wasted and I won't be back. Should've probably just taken the loss on the cancellation. It's probably a 10percent cancellation for them, making it $ 9.56 for good customer service. They're out the food cost, and my future business, which would be around $600 a month. Great business decision. To note, the woman on the phone last night refused to connect me to a manager... I'd love to hear from a manager about what they think about this situation For now, zero chance I return

This place couldn’t turn a table to save their life. Ridiculous how long we had to wait to be seated when there were so many opportunities we could have been seated. The host was very green and it showed. Let me explain: on many occasions, could have offered to split our party into two tables or combine smaller tables to accommodate our party instead of seating smaller groups that came after us. Once we got seated, our table wasn’t even properly prepared. The previous party spilled water over the seats and floor and they weren’t cleaned up. No servers in sight to take our order (which we had pleeeenty of time to contemplate). Food would have had to be absolutely transcendent to overcome the bad taste left in my mouth before any food ever hit it. It came up woefully short. Notes on the food: - pea shoots were undercooked - braised eggplant with spicy garlic sauce was one-dimensional (just spice). Severely lacked depth of flavor (and flavor in general). A shame because this is one of my favorite dishes at Chinese restaurants - roast pork was an embarrassment. Thinly sliced in a failed attempt to hide that it was dry and lean. The skin was the soggiest, least crispy I’ve ever had. Also came toward the end of the meal when it should have been an appetizer - failed to serve one of our dishes until we reminded them. It didn’t even come out hot - fish maw soup came out very peppery. Let diners add the pepper to their preference - honey walnut shrimp was over-fried and some of the shrimps only tasted of breading and oil - white rice was $2/bowl and they were still very stingy with it Other notes: - plates and utensils were clearly dirty. There was a oily residue on pretty much every plate. My plate had a sticky substance on it - food came out so slow that we finished each plate before the next one came out - tables were set with forks and spoons instead of chopsticks. Chinese people were a minority of the clientele. Take this as you like (we should’ve taken it as a warning)

got the flyer at the house in the mail looked good though we would give it a try.. service was slow, only 2 people working. 45 min after eating the fish and peppers with black bean sauce I had a MAJOR *** disaster up all night on the toilet with the worst stomach pains i have ever had

Came here with my boyfriend on a Sunday evening. When we first walked in, it took quite a while for someone to acknowledge us while we stood at the host stand. Two larger parties arrived after us, and we were all finally seated at the same time. We received our drinks within about 10 minutes, but it took over 40 minutes for someone to take our food order. By the time we ordered, everyone around us already had their food. Our table was passed multiple times, and we were repeatedly told someone would be back to take our order. I don’t want to assume the reason behind the delay, but as the only Hispanic couple in the area, the experience felt uncomfortable and disappointing. The food itself was decent and good quality, but unfortunately, due to the service, we will not be returning

Planificando tu Visita a Orange y Dynasty
