We celebrated a special occasion with a lunch for 12 on the veranda. We had agreed on a menu, and the chef was very kind in accommodating all our requests. Generous portions of various appetizers, delicious risotto, and their specialty, Florentine steaks, cooked to perfection, with tender, flavorful meat. We finished with a homemade fresh fruit tart, abundant with fruit on a delicious cream! Special mention for the service: punctual, precise, professional, yet unobtrusive. And for wine lovers, there's a well-stocked and interesting wine cellar.

A surprise! A longtime customer of mine invited me, and I never would have thought it would be so good! Excellent food, perfectly served, portions just right and not too small, accompanied by breadsticks, bread, and schiacciata, all homemade. We had the fried stuffed zucchini flower as an appetizer, the Florentine steak cooked in a wood-fired oven, their signature dish, as a main course, roast potatoes, and grilled vegetables. The cut of meat was exceptional, the vegetables truly excellent! To finish, a dessert, also homemade, a sort of deconstructed tiramisu made of a cocoa biscuit, tiramisu gelatin, and cream: infinitely delicious!

A high-end culinary experience. Dishes are meticulously crafted in both flavor and appearance, using the freshest, top-quality ingredients. The staff is attentive and friendly, and the chef's passion is reflected in the dishes served. Excellent whether you prefer fish or meat, with a variety of cuts and different aging methods, there's a good selection. Now one of my favorite restaurants!

We had lunch with a couple of friends. The location is excellent, with attention to detail, a quiet atmosphere without too much noise, and dining in such a setting is very relaxing!!! Every dish is carefully crafted, from the flavor combinations to the presentation, and the quality is very high... The staff are all very kind and friendly... very attentive to every detail, always ready to refill our bread or other supplies! Keep up the good work!!!

I'll start by saying I was a little discouraged about trying this place given some of the less-than-favorable reviews, but I discovered they recently changed management and two young men took over, whom I salute! That said, I tried a romantic dinner on Valentine's Day and a reception for a baptism for about €30, and I can say I was satisfied in both cases. Obviously, the prices aren't for everyone's budget, but don't confuse the word "Cascina" with "trattoria"... The food is high-quality, and you can see a constant search for innovation in the preparation and offering of unusual dishes... The wine list is extensive and will satisfy even connoisseurs... In short, I recommend it if you want to make a good impression with your girlfriend or for a quiet dinner where you can be pampered... if you want a quick bite to eat, it's not for you! I approve!

A unique experience! A very refined venue, with meticulous attention to detail. The fireplace and grill are immediately visible upon entry, guaranteeing a WOW effect. The tables are well spaced (finally spacious and comfortable!) for a relaxed chat. The service is attentive, fast, and precise. Very interesting dishes, with clever pairings and without being overdone. The food was excellent, from appetizer to dessert. The wine cellar offers a good selection, worth a visit to choose from. Recommended!

A restaurant offering gourmet dishes in a rustic setting: an unexpected mix. Dinner for two, with a reservation specifically for a table in front of the fireplace, a request that was granted without a problem. The menu is predominantly meat-based, with a fish option per course. Our choices included appetizers, first courses, and a Florentine steak, all meat-based. The evening began with an entree and a selection of baked goods, followed by the menu selections. The quality of the ingredients is unquestionable, as is the attention to detail. Perhaps the Florentine steak had a flaw: the exquisite meat was paired with grilled vegetables and roast potatoes, which, however, were rich in oil. The result is a saturated palate that will be difficult to appreciate. In my opinion, the service could use a bit more work. I saw the waiters interacting in a very friendly manner with some guests, probably regulars, but their presence at our table was almost entirely absent. The family atmosphere is a double-edged sword, because while it makes everything less formal, it could also be perceived as a lack of attention to the guest. Indeed, we felt that way. I'm in line with the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail. Overall, it's definitely a great place. It's not to my personal taste in terms of decor and atmosphere, but it's satisfying.

We went to this restaurant on Saturday evening to use a €200 voucher we received as a wedding gift. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing, especially regarding transparency and service. ​Voucher management: We had already asked over the phone about how the voucher worked, but the staff was unable to provide us with an answer. Once we arrived, the voucher was immediately confiscated without any explanation. At the end of the dinner (a first course, a second course, two glasses of wine, and two desserts, for an estimated value of around €100), at the cashier we were simply told, "We're fine as is." When we asked for clarification on the remaining balance of the voucher, the response was terse: "The voucher can be used in full at once." I find it unacceptable that we were not informed either at the time of booking or at the table: this way, the restaurant collected the full value of the gift (€200) for half the cost. Truly dishonest customer service. The Cuisine: Despite the high quality of the ingredients, there were several disappointing aspects: Tagliatelle with Radicchio (€22): The portion was decidedly small. Furthermore, the radicchio flavor was completely overpowered by the gorgonzola fondue and truffle. An unbalanced dish where the main ingredient disappeared. Venison: Good and well-cooked (the only truly positive note of the evening, even though we're not fans of rare meat, but that's just personal preference). Desserts: Neither good nor bad. The tiramisu, in particular, lacked the typical flavor of the original dessert. The menu offers no meat or fish options. They don't even ask you how cooked the meat is; it's served rare. In summary: We won't be returning. It's a shame that a cuisine with potential is overshadowed by such poor payment management and portions that don't justify the menu prices. Feeling robbed of half a wedding gift is not what you expect from a venue of this caliber.

A Tagliata That Left a Bitter Taste: The anticipation of a succulent tagliata, perfectly cooked and steaming hot, is a pleasure shared by many meat lovers. Unfortunately, the experience I'm about to recount turned out to be a culinary disaster, leaving me with a sense of disappointment and a less-than-pleasant taste. My order, a medium-rare tagliata, promised a memorable taste experience. Instead, what I was served was the exact opposite of what I expected. The meat, instead of being pink at the center and enveloped in inviting steam, was a charcoal black, a sure sign of overcooking. The texture, as a result, was dry, light years away from the tenderness and juiciness that characterize a well-executed tagliata. But the worst was yet to come. Despite its charred appearance, the meat was strangely cold to the touch. This anomaly led me to suspect that it hadn't been freshly cooked, but rather reheated, perhaps leftover from the previous day. The idea of consuming a reheated plate of meat, especially a tagliata that should be a triumph of freshness, was decidedly off-putting. The combination of overcooking and inadequate temperature made the overall experience extremely unpleasant. The flavor, compromised by the extreme cooking, was bitter and lacked the flavor notes I expected. Every bite was a struggle, a vain attempt to find a glimmer of pleasure in a dish that had proved a total failure. My disappointment was amplified by the presence of my companions. I didn't want to ruin the meal with my complaints, but the quality of the food was so poor that I struggled to hide my disappointment. The awkward silence that fell at the table as I tried to chew the charred meat spoke volumes. In conclusion, my experience with this tagliata was a complete disaster. The meat, overcooked, cold, and likely reheated, not only failed to meet my expectations but also ruined what should have been a pleasant day. I hope this review serves as a warning to the restaurant to pay more attention to the quality of its dishes and the overall experience of its customers. A dish like this not only disappoints the palate, but also undermines confidence in the restaurant and its ability to offer a noteworthy culinary experience.
