We decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary with dinner at Cala Bella while staying at the resort, and it was an excellent choice. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was packed with flavor. I had the lasagna, and the combination of ingredients was just perfect. My wife went with the rigatoni and loved the spicy kick. To finish off the night, we shared the Café Latte Torte. A special shoutout to Bryon, who took fantastic care of us. His recommendations were spot-on, and it was clear he truly enjoys what he does. Exceptional service makes all the difference, and he certainly made our evening even more enjoyable.

We had our first experience dining at Cala Bella while staying at Shingle Creek in Orlando — and it was absolutely incredible! Although the restaurant was bustling, they kindly found us seats at the bar, where we had a front-row view of the kitchen. It was such a treat to watch Chef Kermary put the final touches on each dish with care and precision. Our server, Enidsha, was warm, attentive, and perfectly timed with everything. Manager Austin set the bar high with his professionalism and presence throughout the evening. But the true highlight of our evening was watching one of the cooks, Ante, work his magic on the grill. He noticed our interest and went out of his way to come chat with us. When we told him how much we enjoyed watching him prepare the octopus — and how we were thinking about possibly coming back during our stay just for that — he said, “Why wait?” Minutes later, we were savoring one of the best octopus dishes we’ve ever had. Sooo good! Huge thanks to the entire Cala Bella team for an unforgettable dining experience. We’ll definitely be back! BTW… our new friend, Ante, is pictured below 😁

I went here with my husband to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and we enjoyed ourselves from start to finish. From the moment we walked in until we left, we had an amazing time! The decor, the staff and views are beautiful. The resturant took care of us on our special day. They gave us a card, some flowers and a nice quiet area for us to enjoy. Our waiter Christian was phenomenal! He checked on us, was very courteous and so sweet. The manager even stopped by our table to see how we are doing. The food was very good! We will be back again for lunch!

Their cheese board is HUGE, easily for 4 people to share so keep it in mind -Charred octopus: tasty but small portion -Baked Meatballs, generously served and yummy Entree: -Farm Pork chops; HUGE single pork chop in a creamy polenta -Oxtail Fettuccine, in a very seasoned and delicious marinara sauce. Generous portion, our favorite from dinner. Desserts: -Pistachio cheesecake, nothing special. -Chocolate creme brûlée, only dish disappointment from dinner. More like a chocolate pudding. Service was spectacular, our server was very cordial and knowledgeable. Overall a fantastic experience!

It's just 5 stars all around. No complaints at all. The friendliness, service and attention to detail from the staff (Chanthi) was absolutely top notch. No need to elaborate on the food too much because of course it was succulent. I had the Ceretto white wine, Salmon Carpacio, the catch of the day-Sword Fish and the Limoncello tiramisu. Delicious, tasty and beautiful. Besides being a family oriented place is also a very romantic place perfect for a night out with your significant other.

We hosted our rehearsal dinner in the private room at Cala Bella with 41 guests, and overall we had a truly wonderful experience. The service was fantastic, and the staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and very accommodating throughout the entire evening. Dinner did run a bit later than expected, so we unfortunately did not have time for dessert since we had to head down to the pool bar for our welcome party. To be fair, we were running about 15 minutes behind schedule ourselves, and we were giving speeches, so I believe the team was being respectful and waiting to avoid interrupting us. In the end, the food was absolutely worth the wait. Everyone raved about it! We started with charcuterie boards, followed by salads and entrée choices of Wagyu steak or chicken Parmesan. Every dish was delicious and beautifully prepared. The cost was definitely higher than anticipated, especially once alcohol was added, but the quality and service helped justify it. I would also like to mention Alison Tomaska, the Food and Beverage Outlets Sales & Catering Manager, who helped us book both our rehearsal dinner and welcome party. She was very kind and helpful throughout the planning process. I felt as though she really let us customize our menu, which was amazing! The only small issue was that her email responses could be a little slow at times, but everything came together perfectly in the end (I was also a stressed bride that wanted answers lol). Our welcome party at the pool bar was also a hit. The location was perfect and everyone had a great time. Thank you so much to the entire Cala Bella team for helping make our wedding weekend so special. We are very grateful and would definitely recommend hosting events here.

Dining at Cala Bella was an unforgettable experience — the kind that reminds you why Italian cuisine is loved all over the world. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was elegant yet relaxed, with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that immediately set the tone for a perfect evening. I started with the freshly baked bread, served warm and golden. It was so good it should come with a warning — absolutely dangerous! Crispy on the outside, soft and airy on the inside, it paired perfectly with the olive oil and made it hard to stop eating before the main course even arrived. Then came the star of the night — the lasagna. It was simply perfect. Layers of tender pasta, creamy béchamel, rich tomato sauce, and perfectly seasoned meat all came together in a comforting, flavorful harmony. Every bite melted in the mouth. You could taste the freshness of the ingredients and the care that went into making it — truly authentic, traditional Italian done right. To accompany the meal, I ordered a glass of Primitivo wine from Puglia, and it was outstanding. Deep, full-bodied, and beautifully smooth, it complemented the lasagna perfectly — a pairing that felt both refined and satisfying. The staff were exceptional — attentive, friendly, and professional. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, from the wine recommendation to the timing of each course. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch that made the evening even more enjoyable. Overall, Cala Bella delivers on every level — amazing food, excellent wine, and first-class service. It’s the kind of restaurant that makes you want to savor every moment. Whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner, a solo escape, or a place to celebrate something special, Cala Bella is an easy five-star choice. I’ll definitely be back!

Delicious octopus, at a reasonable price. The pizza was first rate, as was the chicken parm. The waitress was right on top of things. The atmosphere was pleasant and it was a relaxing place to have a meal. The wine list was extensive, so you shouldn't have any trouble finding something you'll enjoy. The bar looked nice, but I didn't sit there.

We were craving Italian and thought this would be a good place to visit. The food was amazing. I wonder if they make their own pasta sauce for their pasta entrees and pizza’s. It tasted right out of the garden. We had mussels, beef dumplings, meatballs for appetizers. For entrees we ordered chicken Parmesan, pepperoni pizza, linguini pepe e cacio, oxtail fettuccini and all of it was delicious. Everyone at the table enjoyed the visit!

If you’re in the area and hungry it is a good option but I would not make this place a go-to destination and it is definitely not a must with the great selection of restaurants in the area.

The food was absolutely great. Service was a bit lacking. I was with my colleague and as a table of two I feel we were a Lowe priority to the other tables as a conference was happening at the resort. If we received the same service as the larger tables this would be 5 star.
