CelesTiki offers good BBQ within Epic Universe, with the brisket and mango bread being highly praised. Live music and friendly staff enhance the experience. Some find the portions small and prices high, and mobile ordering can be confusing.
Tip: Consider the platter if you're a couple, as it may be a better value than the feast. Mobile ordering is required.
I got the eggs with french fries came delivered tonight Cool cast iron-like skillet. The eggs were cooked perfect The french fries were okay The bacon was outstanding. Someone else ordered the biscuits and gravy and it was complete garbage. Eggs were okay but the biscuit overcooked the gravy tasted like some weird concoction that we would ever eat. Stick with the lunch at the spot.
We loved this breakfast stop in Epic Universe. We all chose the brûlée Hawaiian mango bread. It comes with Mango bread, pineapple, strawberry, whipped cream, toasted coconut with scrambled eggs and bacon for $11.99. We ordered extra mango bread, which I highly recommend as the mango bread was the favorite. The bacon is a bbq bacon and is sweet. This was a great value and great quality. The menu is scanned from the table and you order online. Food is brought to your table and the drinks are self serve.
Great spot inside Epic Universe! Stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised... They had live music around noon, and the guys performing were really good and funny. The staff was attentive and friendly. There’s plenty of seating both inside and outside, and the fireplace in the entryway gives the place a warm, welcoming feel. The quick-serve bar setup makes ordering easy, and having Coca-Cola Freestyle machines is a fun bonus for drink refills. The food came out fresh and fast, and the overall vibe felt relaxed yet lively. Best of all, at the time of writing they even carry Left Hand Milk Stout on tap, huge win! Perfect spot to take a break, grab a bite, and enjoy some great atmosphere inside.
The Oak and Star is a sit-down restaurant that gives you a chance to come out of the heat and regather yourself in a forest-themed, dimly lit setting. Choose a table or booth with seating just inside the door, near a fire place, at the bar, or around the stage. Then it's just a matter of scanning the QR code, placing your orders, and chillaxing while you wait for your food to be delivered. Our party elected to sample some food just before 11:00 while crowds were low and we knew service would be quick. All in all a good choice if you enjoy live music, large platters of food you can share, and adult-sized kid meals.
This was the best brisket I have ever have, and I lived in Texas. I am shocked by the negative reviews, the brisket was the juiciest and most tender I have ever had, and fatty just the way I like it. The Mac and cheese had a great flavor and was super cheesy, and the mango bread was AMAZING!! Easily my favorite meal on this whole trip, including DisneyWorld, and the best barbecue I have had, which stuns me. I cannot believe theme park food tastes that good. The interior is beautiful to boot.
It started dumping rain on us so we ran in here as we were also starving. We got the family feast and it was perfect for five of us. Had chicken, brisket, sausage, pork. Mac, cornbread, mango bread and baked beans. Delicious. Like, I was truly surprised at how good the meat was. I wouldn’t say it’s Texas top 10, but would absolutely rate it better than just about any chain bbq joint. They had 4 sauces at the table that again, blew me away. Super good food with great quality and would 10/10 suggest hitting up!
Best theme park food ever. The menu is mainly BBQ and we both had the sliced brisket sandwich. The hubs had fries with his which were lightly seasoned and delicious, but to me, the standout was the tropical slaw. It was cool and creamy and had bits of mango which have it a sweet crunch. There is a variety of seating options including booths, tables, and at the bar. The warm sticky cake with pecan ice cream was amazing. Highly recommend
Pulled pork was great. Baked beans are amazing. Mac and cheese was a bit smokey. But the place was fun with live music and great service. And buy my book.
This is one of the restaurants that have breakfast options in the parks, and I think is the most reasonable price/quality for breakfast. I had the brulee hawaiian mango bread and it was really good, the bread and the smoked bacon were amazing, but the eggs were lacking in flavor, they tasted like dehydrated eggs. The restaurant is very nice but the bad thing is that it is not allowed to place the order in the counters so you have to do it in the app, it is silly because not all the people want to be on their phones during a day off.

Wow that brisket was incredible. As were the baked beans, Mac and cheese and the bbq sauces. This place hit the spot.
This was the first place we ate within Epic Universe. We thoroughly enjoyed it! We are from Texas so we know BBQ. I'm not going to claim this is the best BBQ I've ever had, because it wasn't, but it was very good. Each table also has four different types of BBQ sauces on the table and they are all very good, but I really liked the Tropical Gold. The mac n cheese and buttermilk biscuits were excellent as well. We also had very friendly and attentive staff.

Highly recommend going to this place if you want REAL food. A lot of the places I looked around didn't have good reviews since it's mostly themed, and made for looks. This place has great BBQ and seasoned fries. My boyfriend is from the deep south, and if he says the brisket was good, you gotta trust his word for it. My mom is also and she has a pulled pork, said it was good. The only reason I gave this place 4 stars for service is because you have to download the app in order to order. My family found it a bit annoying. We do prefer hard menus to look at. Other than that, great place to eat and the food came pretty quickly.
My husband and I decided to get dinner here and it was absolutely delicious. We decided to share the Oak and Star Platter and picked the Smoked Brisket and Roasted Citrus Herb Chicken. We also ordered a side of the fries with pulled pork and cheese on top. The meal came with a loaf of the mango bread, but we got an extra order [My fault, I didn't see that it was included!]. Everything tasted so good! The chicken was definitely the star of the dish. It was moist and so flavorful. The mango bread was sweet, but not too sweet. I also really liked the fries with the pulled pork. The table has 4 different sauces that you can try with your food and I recommend you try them all. I know that in the future, when I come back to Epic, I will be sure to stop and get a bite from here because the food was excellent. The atmosphere was also nice and while we were there they had a duo up on stage playing some fun little tunes.

The food was actually pretty good but the portions are small and prices high. Warning the ribs (they are good) are half the size of regular ribs in the real world. The bbq platter we had was barely enough for four. It’s really for two adults and to children. Remember that when ordering. They also only have the coke freestyle machines. I personally do not like those as the drinks are never the right taste but if you aren’t interested into mixing flavors then it really wouldn’t matter. They had two people singing, they were good and very amusing. If you aren’t interested in that, they have another side of the restaurant that has just the chatter of other guests.
We ate at Oak & Star Tavern for both breakfast and lunch. The staff was friendly both times. However, I was not a huge fan of the food. I got the sausage and gravy for breakfast and found the overall meal was extremely salty. I like the little bits of sausage in the gravy more than I did the bacon. For Lunch I ordered the Huli Huli Pulled Pork with Three Cheese Mac & Cheese and it was okay. The flavor was a bit one note. I did love the banana pudding though!
Okay, I'm going to be honest here. I was having an amazing day at Epic Universe, and it was time for lunch. The original plan was to try the pizza at Pizza Moon. We were curious since the reviews are extremely positive. Unfortunately, the line was horrible, and standing under the sun for an hour just wasn’t feasible. So, we walked right next door and discovered the Oak and Star Tavern. It turned out to be a great decision. We walked in and were immediately greeted by an attendant who took the time to explain the menu and how to order for faster service. We found a table, scanned the QR code, and placed our order. I got the two meat plate, and my son had the pulled pork sandwich. For sides, I chose mac and cheese, and he went with the fries. A server brought our food and yes, they use real silverware! The brisket was good, not dry at all. The ribs were average, and the mac and cheese was solid as well. I was satisfied, although the portion size was on the smaller side. My son said his sandwich was really good, and the fries were amazing. All in all, I’ll definitely try this place again on my next visit. I can’t wait until this park is added to the annual pass, because I’ll be here often. Before I forget: the restaurant is huge, with plenty of tables, great decor, and a very cold A/C.
The food was ok. St. Louis ribs were delicious but the brisket was salty. The mango bread was delicious. Not to crazy about having to do mobile order. I'll give it another try on my next visit to Epic Universe. Pricey.
Decent park food, around 20-30/person. Small typical serving sizes. They had live entertainment which was very nice to see. Food was decent too.
I'm quite impressed! It was not too pricey, despite being in what could be the greatest theme park in the world. It was super nice and quiet inside. Great place to take a break from the craziness going on outside (i.e. the sun and people and rides and allat) I enjoyed how you ordered from your table by scanning a QR code. Also, it was fun to have so many barbecue sauces to choose from! Some of the bottles were a bit dirty or empty, however. Staff was friendly, but we didn't interact with them much. I'm pretty impressed!

The prices for the big portions are great. My husband’s Biscuits and Gravy were good. The eggs in my breakfast sandwich were very cold which was disappointing.

Was very pleasantly surprised by this place. Live music was a nice touch, the staff were friendly and the food exceeded what we expected from theme parks. It’s a touch on the pricier side but the quality was good and portions were fair. It was also good to be somewhere that felt a little less crowded as it’s a big place and good outdoor seating.
After a few hours in Epic Universe, four of us were hungry. Hungry! After a short search for a place to eat, we hit on The Oak & Star Tavern. Inside, there were two greeters, who were going to send us to a table, but we asked to sit outside, and they directed us. We had to scan the Q code to order, which can be interesting with four. I had a Ceasar salad with chicken, which was fine, as were the burgers that the others ordered. My wine was in a plastic glass, but we were outside. Overall the food was satisfying and good. The missing element was the lack of any personal touch. But given the opportunity, I would stop in again.
Probably the best deal we found at epic. Get the platter with 2 meats and one side to split if there’s two of you. DO NOT get the feast that costs $75. You’ll actually save money if you just get 2 platters and order 2 more sides on the side. The mango bread was easily the best thing here. Beef brisket and chicken were decent, the bbq baked beans were decent, the cauliflower was not good to me but my gf liked it a lot and she likes cauliflower so only get it if you’re a cauliflower fan. There were 4 different bbq sauces to try on the table but I was really only a fan of the sweet because it tasted the most like a normal bbq sauce.

Food was delicious but the entire inside seating area was filled with empty plates. When I let the front of room attendant know she was less than pleased. I understand 1 or two tables but the ENTIRE room except for a few was covered in empty plates. Step up your cleaning game. No customer wants to pick up another person’s food to eat.
First time here, visiting from Argentina. Once we were sitting, we saw the QR code. With the camera app did nothing. Nobody told us that we had to scan the QR code through the app. We were waiting for 20 minutes until we realized. Nobody told us nothing once we got in. We actually received the food but not the glasses for the drinks. AWFUL OVERALL.
