Chi-Kin is a popular spot for Korean fried chicken, known for its crispy wings and flavorful sauces like gochujang and sweet soy. Customers rave about the doughnuts and waffle fries. Some find it pricey or inconsistent, with occasional issues like soggy wings or raw chicken.
Tip: Try the combo meals for a variety of items. Be sure to ask for sauces to be separated when ordering multiple flavors.
We had dinner for four people. The chicken wings were flavored with spicy gochujang and sweet soy sauce, but I felt the gochujang could have been a little spicier. The chicken fingers were very large and were delicious even when reheated the next day. Personally, I recommend the sweet soy sauce sauce the most. The bulgogi beef fries and bulgogi beef nachos were also delicious in large portions. I especially liked the street corn. The portions were all generous and very satisfying. The staff were very friendly and there was a place to wash your hands separate from the restroom.
I stopped in on a whim while heading somewhere else to eat, and I’m glad I did. The place has an alternative mom and pop vibe, laid back but with its own character. The menu is simple, though I think it could do a better job explaining some of the dishes for people who aren’t as familiar with Korean food. I went with the bulgogi chicken bowl with greens, and my wife ordered the chicken tenders with kimchi fries. At first, it was a little tricky finding something that felt even somewhat healthy, but we landed on a good balance with those choices. When the food came out, the flavors were bold, fresh, and a lot better than we expected. Honestly, our expectations were pretty low going in, but this place more than delivered. The staff was friendly, quick to help, and made the whole experience easy. For a stop that wasn’t even on the agenda, it turned out to be a great find. If you’re in the mood for fried chicken with some serious flavor, I’d highly recommend checking this spot out. I’ll definitely be back.
Great find for us today is Chi-kin Korean fried chicken joint! Low key spot on Mills serving delicious Korean style chicken - we got a bowl with check-in and some fermented vegetables as well as their chicken tenders in a signature sauce with kimchi fries. It was great - the food was fresh, flavourful and perfectly portioned.
We arrived, not knowing what to expect, we were greeted by “T”. He brought us menus, and drinks. Since none of us were familiar with the food, “T” explained the food, and made recommendations. All of his recommendations were spot on. The chicken was some of the very best I’ve ever had. The seasoned waffle fries were fantastic. The drink selection was very good. We all agreed that we would definitely come back. If you are in the Mills 50 district, make sure you stop by.
We were looking for some good fried chicken and when we saw this place with so many good reviews we decided that we had to try it. We are so glad we did! My girl and I shared the combo meal with chicken wings and tenders plus two sides and for 28$ we got so much food! The fries and fried rice were delicious, and the chicken was phenomenal. They also have amazing sauces that you can add to your wings and tenders. Overall we loved this place and definitely will be coming back.
I saw online somewhere that ranked the top chicken joints in each of the 50 United States. Chi-kin was ranked as the top chicken spot in Florida, and in Orlando at that! I can't recall who was behind those rankings, nor do I have much to compare, but Chi-kin is EXCELLENT! Fantastic concept, married with Side Chik next door is remarkable. Atmosphere is laid back and chill, keeping it simple with a great vibe. The food is creative, fresh, and delicious and the staff were super helpful, courteous, and kind. I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE you to experience Chi-kin! 11 Stars!
The chi-kin is so delicious! The hot gochucjang wings are super hot but very crispy. The sweet ones are really my favorite! Waffle fries were great with loaded beef. I had to stop here on my trip to visit my mom and dad.
My friend told us about this restaurant near our job. It was so good. The wing flavor was amazing, the Fries were delicious 🤤 But that RICE 🙌🏾 Definitely coming back to try more wing flavors . We ordered Togo because we were not sure if it would be busy or not . Next time we'll order there. The other guests food took no time at all. Very nice restaurant and clean.
I normally don’t review on my first time but this place was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Our meal was nice and fresh and hot and soo yummy!!! The flavors were melting on my tongue and they have WAFFLE FRIESSSS!! I love me some good waffle fries!! All in all, good customer service, clean place, and great food 👍🏾 please don’t change! Oh and super affordable in my opinion 🫱🏾🫲🏽
The staff was helpful and attentive. I ordered the family meal so I could enjoy a variety of things. The food was fresh and did not take long for us to receive our meal. The doughnuts was the highlight for me since I have quite a sweet tooth. I would definitely recommend to stop in and give a try. Also my favoorite wing flavor was the basil Thai.
This is my go-to spot for Korean fried chicken. Took my bf here for the first time and LOVED IT !! Customer service is always good here and the food never disappoints. We got the we got the combo 1 Really good for the price !! 8 wings , 4 tenders with 2 sides. Absolutely delicious 🙌🏻❤️
Delicious food served quickly. I've eaten here a few times and its been perfect each time. Korean Fried Chicken is my favorite preparation of chicken and they do a great job here. Big portions of chicken and everything is well seasoned and sauced
Ever since I read an exceptional review on MSN, gloating about how Chi-Kin has the best wings in Central Florida, I knew I had to check it out. I was able to bring my mom for an afternoon lunch date and we really enjoyed it. The exterior is very unassuming and you'd probably walk/drive right past it. The interior was much larger than I expected, while the ambiance was cool and laid back. The service was great because Erica was extreme helpful and pleasant, plus the food came out very quickly. The food was very good! We ordered the "Wings with Fries combo", which comes with 5 wings Korean fried to perfection with your choice of sauce, waffle fries and a fountain drink. The "Hot Gochujang" sauce was sweet then hits you with sone heat! We also ordered the "Tenders with Fries Combo" which comes with 3 juicy tenders Korean fried to perfection with your choice of sauce, waffle fries and a fountain drink. The "spicy honey" sauce may have been slightly better and it wasn't spicy at all but had a nice sweet flavor. While we decided on our first visit to keep things simple, there are definitely lots of other interesting menu items that I'd love to try next time!

Best thing about working at home with the wifey...lunch at new places and today we had a great time at my new fav, Chi-Kin! The service was attentive and helpful, but the star are those wings! Great crispiness, superb flavor and don't sleep on the sticky rice! If you are anywhere near here, you got to stop in!
Sooooo good. I loved the sweet Soy sauce. So I ordered the Vegan-chicken Bibim bowl. Wow! I was transported instantly back to my time in South Korea. The radishes and kitchen were fresh and full of flavor. The Vegan chicken was tender and flavorful; the romaine lettuce fresh. My family ordered the family platter and selected the street corn (delicious) and perfect sticky rice. Admittedly, their food was a little salty, but it didn't stop me. I enjoyed every bite. The mochi dessert was also perfect. This is something I don't remember trying on my time in S. Korea. Our meal was pricey. We paid just under $60 for the 4 is us. Most meals average $10.99 but the quantity is generous. My hubby is not a fan of double battered but I just love the fact that you can douse your chicken in the sauce, immersing it in flavor and still get the crispness you desire.
I recently had the opportunity to visit this interesting spot. I had heard from a couple family members that it was a good place so I thought I would give it a shot. It was delicious. The food came out very fast and was very good. The wings were very filling so I had some leftovers for home. I could've eaten a second helping of the Bulgogi Fries. Such a delicious little gem in Orlando. I recommend it to everyone!
Everything was absolutely delicious. I was going in with high expectations and it👏 did 👏not 👏miss 👏. My husband and I shared the tenders and we both got bowls. The beef.... amazing. The kimchi.... delicious. Just a wonderful array of textures & flavors. I would highly recommend eating in as opposed to taking out so we get the full crunch of the chicken.
Been here twice already my first time i stumbled across them while I was picking up an uber order and I had to try it myself because it smelled so yummy. I'm not a chicken tenders fan but the way they do theirs is out of this world. The wings are great too but the pickled cucumbers and radishes are on point!
Had the inexpensive meal option, 8 wings, 4 chicken tenders, with side of kimchi coleslaw and pickled radish. Sauce options chosen was half of wings was sweet soy and gochujang; tenders was buffalo garlic. Bibim bulgogi beef bowl that has rice, kimchi, pickled radish, cucumber, choice of sauce either bibimgochu or spicy aioli (pictured). Customer service was friendly and food arrived on time. The flavors were pretty good. The wings and tenders could have been heated more and crispier but this restaurant is new so it’s 5 star. Probably takes a while to get into the flow of customer orders and also pandemic precautions. I’d go here again to try other options. This place is good for chicken wing fans since there are different sauces (see menu).
Any wing place that can let me get all wings and no drums already has a piece of my heart. I got the wings with the Thai Chili sauce, which had a great blend of heat and sweetness. They were also evenly sauced and crispy. Got the D'Oh Boy to wrap up the meal. The whole restaurant is a simple, straightforward concept done well. Definitely will be eating here again next time I'm in the Mills 50 area!
The cashier welcomed us and were super nice. The food was AMAZING I had kimchi fries best fries I’ve ever had. I also had tenders and they were so good super crunchy and perfectly spicy. 10/10 service and 10/10 food. Definitely gonna recommend this place to my friends and family!!
Came here from TikTok. Did not disappoint. I had the 10 piece wings with half Yuzu lemon pepper and half sweet gochujang. The lemon pepper were tangy and crispy. Not salty at all like some places. Definitely recommend. The sweet gochujang sauce reminded me of a sweet liquor glaze. Not sure if I explained that right but the sauce is definitely good!!! I also got the bulgogi beef taco with the kimchi slaw and Verde sauce. The taco is on point. Only disclaimer is that it's one taco. Erica took my order and she is very sweet and patient. She took her time and explained everything to me. I absolutely recommend this place.
Very delicious asian inspired fried chicken restaurant. We ordered the beef bowl with greens, two kids meals, and the 10 piece (half honey, half gochujang) with waffle fries and drinks. The bowl has multi layers of flavors that pair well when eaten all together. Sweet, tangy, spicy, savory, and filling. I couldn't eat all of my bowl in one sitting. I order a beef bowl with rice to go and it was just a awesome. I was told by the cashier that the place next door will give a discount on their ice cream when you bring a receipe from this restaurant. I also ordered their 12 piece dough boy that comes drisslednin icing and a side of cinnamon and sugar. We will be returning!
Really nice place for lunch. I absolutely love the wings. The steam rice can be a little crunchy sometimes lol so I normally take the kimchi fried rice instead. Recently, I tried bulgogi rice, and it was devine. Check the times before you go, I do believe they are closed between 3pm n 5pm. Parking is mainly street parking, I think there is a small lot in the back don't quote me, but I never had an issue finding parking. I like the new ordering method with the screens and the ability to fully customize your meals. It's truly a casual experience. In summary, awesome Korean fried chicken wings and tenders.
This is truly a mom and pop operation. Be patient! There is only a husband and wife cooking. So we order the Korean pancake, Gal Bi, and Bulgogi with Lychee tea. The food had good flavor. The Kim chee and cucumber Kim chee had just enough spice to get your attention, but not so much that you could not enjoy it. The bulgogi bowl was heavy on the rice, but still good. Will be back! I recommend they put a bell on the door so they know when someone comes through the door because both husband and wife care cooking in the back. Remember patience!!
The gentlemen up front are super friendly and immediately greet you. You're able to seat yourself or use a kiosk for to-go food. The food is really good, was recommended by my chiropractor's office. The waffle fried are great plain. The bugolgi beef fried rice is amazing! I got hot honey fried chicken tendies and the doh boys. 😍 I would definitely come back.
This was my first time trying out this Korean restaurant and my family and I loves it! The atmosphere was on nice and the music was good with the newest kpop! The cashier was very helpful and friendly. When I received my food it was hot and looked just like the picture on the menu. I will come back and try more dishes. So delious!!!
So glad we finally had time to stop by this place this past Sunday afternoon! We walked into the restaurant and were immediately greeted by a friendly employee. He made sure to explain the menu and was very patient with our questions as it was our first time there. We ordered the lunch special with 5 sweet soy wings, fries, and a drink and an order of 6 tenders with buffalo garlic and yuzu lemon pepper as the two sauces. I upgraded the waffle fries in the lunch special to the chicken bulgogi fries. Definitely a good choice. The flavor of the sweet soy was very good! Not too salty but just enough flavor and definitely a good crunch. The buffalo garlic is exactly what it sounds like. Mild buffalo sauce with minced garlic. The yuzu lemon pepper was my favorite. I will usually order lemon pepper wings when I go to a wing joint, but the yuzu lemon pepper has its own extra kick that is just so good! If you’re a fan of lemon pepper then you need to try this flavor! Overall a good lunch spot. We will definitely be back soon.
Party of 5, including meat-lovers, vegetarians, and vegan- we all loved our food. Most of us having lived in Korea for several years tend to be picky with Korean food and really compare it to 'authentic' Korean food- this did not disappoint! Keeping in mond of course that many of these dishes were modern fusion. Friendly staff as well
Update! I went for lunch and it was the perfect amount of food. They give you the option to upgrade for a price, but it is still one of my favorite places to go. I got the 3 piece tender meal with beef bulgogi waffle fries and a drink. The only downside was the size of the drink, but you can get refills while you dine in.
BEST FRIED WINGS EVER!!!!! I love their wings, a friend told me about Chi kin I love Mills Ave when it comes to find places to eat, this is one of those gems, is just so savory and crispy. def the best so far!
These are by far the best wings and tenders in the city of Orlando! There is no beating Chi-Kin when it comes to the amazing flavors and side dishes like the Bulgogi Beef Fries! This place is so good that I have gone back multiple times! These wings are the top highlight and just like how I rank every wing, I do it based off crispiness, juiciness, sauciness, and overall flavor. The crispiness is a 10/10 out the door, the moment you bite into the wing there is a loud crunch at the end of it to give you that awesome feeling of satisfaction. The juiciness is also a 10/10 because not only does it give you that nice crispy feel, it is juicy enough to equalize the crisp of the breading they use. And the sauciness is a 10/10 because they give you a good amount of sauce on their wings which gives it the best flavor. And finally the overall flavor is a 30/30 making these wings the best of the best! Same goes with the Tenders as well! If you want fire wings and some ginormous tenders, stop by here at Chi-Kin and you won’t regret it!
visit: june 6, 2024 bibimbop (they call it something else) very good the chicken in soy garlic is very good too! the girlfriend had the one with the sauce -not too much a fan.. but still okay.. parking along side of the road.. service, not the best but still a good experience overall.
After trying Korean wings in Atlanta at chongman wings a few months ago, I’ve been on the hunt for some local good Korean wings and haven’t had any luck until today. A friend recommended I tried this place so I gave a shot not expecting it to be great as other places have been a disappointment. To my surprise, they actually were very delicious. They were crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside. The sauce was perfect. I will definitely be coming back often bc now I’m hooked. 100% recommend this place!
Fantastic. In the top 2 of non-smoked/grilled* wings I've ever had, for sure. I decided on the 10 wing option, with two different flavors: sweet soy and hot gochujang. Unfortunately, I figured out that I received the sweet gochujang instead of the "hot" that I ordered. But all good because the wings were so crunchy with flavors that were right on point. This was another Orlando spot that I wanted to order more from the menu, but my days of ordering more than I can possibly eat just to try multiple dishes are over for now. 🐷 I would've loved to try the bulgogi tacos, some of their sandwiches and a bibim-bowl, but they're going to have to wait until next trip...a few of them anyway. 😂 For the quality of the wings the prices are good here. As stellar as the wings were I can't imagine the other things are done any less well. If you love wings this is an absolute must try ASAP. *I really love grilling and smoking so I kinda put wings like that it a separate category, but this place would still be top 5 probably.
I cannot believe this place exists so close to where I live. I’ve always felt left out when watching those cool food shows of amazing hole in the wall restaurants that have spectacular food. Now, I get to live that dream. The food was phenomenal. And the service was just as good. Not even 3 minutes after ordering, my food was delivered to my table. I ordered the sweet gochujang tenders and bulgogi waffle fries. The chicken was seasoned perfectly, hot and crispy. And the heat was a nice compliment. The fries were crispy and sauced/topped proportionally so that every bite had everything in it. Even if this place was miles away, I’d happily spend the gas to get there.
Absolutely delicious. The portions are very big so order accordingly, we definitely ordered too much. They sauce generously and everything has so much flavor. I do wish the loaded fries had more toppings on them especially considering the price. The fried rice is very good and flavorful, nice as a side if two people are sharing the chicken basket. Will definitely be back here!
We are visiting friends who just moved here. They took us to this restaurant and oh my gosh how cute it is inside. The staff was all super nice and helpful being our first time here. The chicken was assasMazingly good it was tender, moist and crunchy goodness. The sauce we had are so good too. Kimchi amazing just like my friend makes. What a great place and so worth it.
I have been on a mini hunt for the best wings in Orlando since I'm not in NJ anymore. This place hits that special place in my heart. With a variety of tasty choices and friendly staff, I will definitely be coming back here. The wings are amazing, it's hard to find a place that give you that crispy outside and tender inside; but Chi Kin gets it. It's all about that eating experience with affordable prices. I very much recommend stopping by here. 👍🏾
We went to chi-kin to pick up food for our children, because it is their favorite restaurant. Once arrived we were not sure how to select what we wanted on the digital menu. Then Nadia stepped in patiently and kindly helped us find exactly what we were looking for. Excellent customer service. Thanks Nadia and hands down the chef did an amazing job as well.
First time there and the food was amazing. After you fill up your belly I highly recommended the doughnuts. Atleast a dozen lol. My kids loved em!!!!
15 out of 10 - The food came out soo quick as if they knew the order. Obviously it was probably pre-made that morning, but it tasted fresh and was soo good. My brother ordered the bulgogi fries and I had the beef bulgogi bowl, we also had the wings extra crispy. Everything was delicious! The payment structure for self pay is top tier, I didn't even have to download an app. (That's so annoying when I might not ever use the app again - so I was very appreciative of that). Everyone even seemed happy - the staff and all of the guests here. GREAT experience.
Very good Korean Fried Chicken found here! I got the 10pc wing basket with 1/2 Thai Chili and 1/2 Hot Gochujang along with Kimchi radish and Pickled radish sides. While the crispy-ness of the chicken was there, the sauces could have been better. I wanted the Gochujang sauce to have the sweet/garlic/tangy flavor you would find in typical Yangnyeom Korean Fried Chicken, but the predominant flavor was just savory and a bit too salty. Loved the radish sides, very authentic. Service was friendly and fast. Edit: Came back, and they've made improvements! This is now hands down the best Korean fried chicken in Orlando!
BEST Korean Fried chicken spot in Orlando. The wings are always crispy and the sauce is always packed with flavor. My go to sauces are the Sweet Soy and Spicy Honey. The Beef Bulgogi fries are also really good, especially with the spicy sauce they put on it. I would definitely go back to try their other sauces.
This place is absolutely hands down the best every time we come. It's a drive but we'll worth it to get Korean fried chicken and then stop for Boba on the way home. Staff friendly and soooo nice and accommodating. Atmosphere is family friendly but also a great spot to just hang with your friends. The food 😋 😍 👌 the fries seasoned and perfect alone but the bulgogi fries 🤤🤤 and don't pass on the dough boys omg 🥰
I have stopped by a few times for lunch, the combos are a good deal and the food comes up fast when you’re looking for a quick meal. Lately we have been ordering it go-to, either delivery or pickup because the fried chicken travels so well, you can easily drive it home 20 minutes and it’s still crunch and delicious. Still working through the different sauces but they’re all good, and the kimchi slaw is amazing, probably my favorite side and goes really well with the chicken.
Self serve kiosks, lunch specials, quick service, delicious food. Tried the gochujang fried chicken wings and rice with a drink. The food was very flavorful, chicken perfectly balanced in heat and savory sweet, and very crispy skin. Would definitely return if I'm in the area, but a bit too far a drive for me for frequent visits
The kimchi fries are everything. The beef bulgogi bowl—so flavorful with plenty of kimchi, pickled Dikon and great sauces. The service was friendly and approachable, the environment casual, and it’s a family owned establishment. New location coming to winter garden / Windermere and it can’t come fast enough. ✨🙏 A new staple for my family!
The place looked really small from the outside but when u got in it was actually bigger then you would think. The people there were really nice and had positive attitudes. The food was amazing with good flavors and they had multiple options to choose from going to chicken to tacos. The fried chicken there was really good and they had good sauce options to choose from there. The chicken was crispy and it was juicy and tender. All together the place was amazing and it was really comfortable there.
Overall, just great tenders and wings! I moved from Atlanta and couldn't find a good chicken wing and tender replacement until I landed at Chi-Kin. First, I had ordered them on UberEats. I visited them in person and it did not disappoint. The chicken wings were crispy and saucy at the same time. The tenders were god-like. I try to bring Orlando visitors as much as possible. Do not miss out if you are in town and looking for some good wings with excellent sauce options. Try everything here at least once!!
Very delicious food. Not too expensive, spicy options for those who like spicy food and non-spicy options for those who don't. Got there at the perfect time because they got super busy in a matter of minutes, but that's always good for the business. Still got our food served in a timely manner. Took it home and food was still delicious after the 20 min. drive so can imagine how tasty it is eating it freshly made at the restaurant. The bulgogi fries and the beef fried rice were delicious! Wish the rice portion was bigger though since it was $4, but still worth it. Definitely recommend and will be coming back!
FIREEEEE FOOD! 10/10 would recommend. Service was good, chicken was the epitome of crispy. There is a variety of sauces and they were all delicious. The beef fried rice was yummy and it was a very generous portion of beef. The kimchi fries were a surprisingly good twist, I expected the kimchi to be overpowering but it complimented the waffle fries well and once again it was very crispy! The donuts were so so so amazing, great flavor not too sweet and once again that crisp! (For desert, be sure to order it when you’re ready for it, so it’s nice and warm). Great great great great great food! Good price for quality and portion!
The D'oh boys (doughnuts) are absolutely amazing! Chicken wings and tenders were both juicy and tasty. The only miss is the messy fries could use more toppings to live up to the name. Friendly servers and the food came out fast. Park on the street; around the side looks like parking but it's actually a sandlot. Do not skip those donuts!
Yum.. YUm... YUMMM 😁. Incredibly juicy and crispy chicken. We ordered the combo meal, which included 6 wings with 2 sauces, 4 tenders with 2 sauces, and 2 sides... We got the Bulgogi chicken fries and Bulgogi fried rice. This was the first time we've been here, so the combo worked out for us, that way we got to try a little bit of everything. You know me .. I have to try out the hottest sauce they had, which was the Hot Gochujang. I tried the sauce with the wings and the tenders, and they were both absolutely delicious 🤤. We also got the yuzu lemon pepper on the wings, and it was surprisingly very lemony... Very good if you like that lemon 🍋 kick. And for the last sauce on the tenders we got the Spicy honey, which is almost like a mango habanero, but not as hot. Very good flavor of all 3 sauces. Now the bulgogi chicken waffle fries was quite a delight, the chicken was nice and tender and flavorful, and the fries were light and crispy. I ate all of it! 😆. Now the bulgogi chicken fried rice was nice and crispy, with the same chicken that was on the fries.. the only down side for me was that it was just a little salty. For desert we tried the fried d'oh boys, which were fluffy pillows of deliciousness with the cinnamon and sugar. And top it all off they had ice cream tacos!! Memories of Choco tacos came rushing back, and it was absolutely amazing. They only had cookies and cream and chocolate crunch at the time, and the chocolate crunch was nice and smooth and creamy and just yummy! Definitely going to go back! 🙂
I've never had Korean food. Co-worker saw this place while driving past and made a u turn when he recognized where he was. I had no clue what to order. The touch screen ordering made it very easy to decide. I got a bulgogi beef bowl over white rice. I was shocked when I opened the bag, a large portion looked to be onions. I really don't like onions. Apprehensive I tried one of the smallest pieces. OMG absolute heaven is what I just put in my mouth. What in the world was that. Absolute fire! I've never had pickled foods over rice but holy canola I definitely will be again soon. Also had a single of the hot wings Co worker got. It was great as well. Come check this place out
super yummy food & staff is always helpful and kind. food always comes out quick. ive tried most of the sauces and they’re all very good - my favorite is sweet soy. portion sizes are always large and filling. oftentimes they’ll give you an extra tender if there’s a really small one in the batch that they can’t use! usually get takeout and the staff will chat with me while I wait :). love coming here!!
Great service! Great taste and flavor! Jazmin help me a lot with the menu and my choices. Every little business must have people like Jazmin, with a great customer service experience. The wings are amazing! You must try the Chicken Fried Rice!! Mmm! Yummy!
BEST FRIED WINGS EVER!!!!! I love their wings, a friend told me about Chi kin I love Mills Ave when it comes to find places to eat, this is one of those gems, is just so savory and crispy. def the best so far!

Overall review this place was really good. The chicken is exceptional. Quick service too. If you’re ordering your food make sure to ask them to separate it if you’re getting more than two flavors for wings and the chicken tenders sometimes they put it in the same basket and it’s confusing to know which flavors which. The chicken wings were exceptionally well. Do not get the chicken tenders without saucing them that was the one mistake I made when I visited I had the family combo to try to taste everything I’ll definitely come back to sample the rest. The price for the value was amazing. Also, my 1 complaint was the fries were not crispy fresh felt like they were sitting there for a little while

I tried a new place for lunch. Korean fried chicken place (Chi- Kin) it was pretty good. I had Buffalo garlic wings and their waffle fries. I did like the wings i was expecting the flavor of the Buffalo was a little spicier and more garlic but still They were good. I liked mostly the nice and crispy texture without the wings being tough. My least favorite part about this place and what would limit my visits is the parking sucks! But definitely try them out. My next visit i plan to try the tacos and I will do another review!
Good food, multiple food options. The interior, ambiance and food are superb. I had the chicken wings with HOT gochujang sauce and fries while my parents had Chicken tenders with Gochujang sauce and Rice as well as D’oh boy which are kind of like donut holes. Service could be better. The cashier could have put more effort in terms of helping my parents order. He seemed to be more like in a hurry to get us to finish ordering our order in order to get going and get out despite us being the only people in line at the time
A great place to try korean flavors in a form of chicken wings. The flavors are good, but could use some spicy heat. We tried all the flavors and each one was good and authentic to the description. The desserts were not available during the soft opening. The restaurant is very spacious and well lit. I highly recommend giving your taste buds some thing new to enjoy.
Wings, Fries, and Gains... Well, Almost… As someone who’s spent a bit of time in South Korea and proudly carries the badge of “chicken wing connoisseur,” I had high hopes walking into Chi-Kin. I placed a to-go order for their 10-piece wings with Hot Gochujang and Soy Garlic sauces, plus some beef bulgogi fries with "extra meat"—because, let’s be honest, those gains aren’t going to happen on their own, right? 💪 Now, let me start by saying, when the food was ready in just 10 minutes, my internal red flag went up faster than you can say "double fry." If you know Korean fried chicken, you know it usually takes 30 minutes of crispy, golden perfection to get that signature crunch. But, hey, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and chalked it up to kitchen efficiency... or maybe I was just really hungry. Fast forward to my 10-minute drive home, and I finally cracked open the containers. Visually? Pretty impressive. But a true wing critic knows that looks can be deceiving. I could immediately tell the wings weren’t double fried, and the batter was a bit… shy. But whatever—onward! I dove straight into the hot gochujang wings, expecting a heatwave. And while they were a tad soggy (curse you, 10-minute drive!), the flavor? Oh, it was THERE. Not too spicy—more like a warm, friendly hug from an old friend than a spicy punch in the face—but still delicious. I definitely wouldn’t have minded a bit more heat though. Maybe just a sprinkle of fire, ya know? Next up: the soy garlic wings. Now we’re talking! These were a lot crispier, and the flavor was chef's kiss. Honestly, if these wings could talk, they’d say, “We came to play.” But again, I wish they had just a bit more batter and a satisfying, crunchy finish. Then came the grand finale: the bulgogi fries. Fries? Crispy. Bulgogi? Tender and flavorful. The only downside? Where was my “extra meat”? It’s like they took my request for extra meat as a polite suggestion, not the serious mission it was. Gains, people! I need my gains! And hey, a pinch more salt on the fries wouldn’t hurt either. All that said, the fries were still a solid, tasty sidekick to the wings. All in all, Chi-Kin? A solid 8.5/10. The flavors were awesome, customer service was spot-on, and the restaurant itself was clean and well-run. But, if you're coming here for Korean fried chicken, manage your expectations. This place is no Bon Chon—but it’s definitely worth a visit for some good wings and loaded fries! I’ll be back... just maybe not with visions of double-fried perfection.
So I've been slowly but surely trying to explore all the best places in Orlando. Word on the street was that Chi-Kin had some of the best Korean food in the city. The street being the fine readers of Orlando Weekly. So I decided to come by and pick up some takeout to see what the fuss was all about. I shared three things. First of all, of course, the Chi-Kin Wings, a small wings basket (10pcs), split into two flavors. Looking back, I can't exactly remember what two flavors they were. But I remember that these wings were banging. That crispy crispy exterior you expect from Korean wings. Something about that exterior makes the sauce adhere so well. These wings were definite five star wings and are a must-have. The second thing was the Chi-Kin Sammy, Dipped in a sauce. There are few things better than a saucy, crispy chicken sandwich. Very thick and juicy, with some pickles for a pop of acid. The bun was a little uninspired, very buttery and soft, but I want a bun with a little more heft to it. I got it in a combo, and upgraded my waffle fries to Bulgogi Beef Waffle Fries. Waffle fries topped with bulgogi and melty cheese. Sounded great to me. Disappointing in reality, though. Definitely not the ratio of toppings I was promised in the menu picture. And for dessert, I could not say no to the Fried D'OhBoys (topped with sweetened condensed milk and whipped cream). These were very good! Fried to a perfect crisp and chewy in the middle. The balls themselves weren't inherently sweet, thank goodness, so the sweetness than the milk and the cream brough were very nice. Overall, this was really nice. The wings were truly top notch, so if I'm ever in the Mills 50 area and need wings right now, I'm gonna swing by for sure!
More like 3.5 honestly. The fried rice was really good which is what bumped my rating from 3 to 3.5. The fried rice was like a 5/5 on its own. Everything else was just okay really. It tastes good but we drove a long way to get there and it’s not worth driving out of your way to get to, but worth a stop if you’re already nearby.
Chi Kin is on repeat for dinner at our house! The wings are always hot and fresh and extra crunchy. Buffalo garlic, yuzu lemon pepper, and spicy honey are our favorite sauces. Make sure to ask for extra for your fries. Speaking of fries... The bulgogi fries are on point. You couldn't go wrong with just a side of fresh waffle fries, but why not top it with delicious bulgogi beef and spicy mayo?! Also, don't sleep on the fried rice. Any flavor is a win. The price point is comparable to other wing choices in the area. The amount of food we get for those prices is always more than enough. Service is always friendly and timely. The only reason it's a 4 and not 5 star is bc we're inevitably missing a sauce or 2 in our takeout. Note: My horrible phone photos don't do the food any justice.
We were in the area and ran across this restaurant. Not from this side of town, so decided to check it out. The restaurant has good vibes. You can eat inside or outside. Food service was great. The taste of the food was good 😊 but just a bit salty with the sauce. Loved the freshness of the ingredients. It didn’t take much time to get the order done.
Finally, I tried this place on a whim. Pretty big portions. Tasty food. You can either dine in or take out. I must say it took a while to order on the kiosk, but the food was out ready pretty quickly. I got the yuzu dry rub which i wish was coated a bit more on my chicken as it was very faint. But I like the location of the place. I found it to be a bit expensive just for chicken tenders and fries. So I highly recommend getting a combo which will save you some money. I want to comeback and try the location next door called Sidechick 🐔
The most delicious chi-kin wings I have ever eaten. I had it once at a friend's house a couple years ago, and had compared wings to it since I first tried it as take out. So, we finally went for dine in. It is basically self-service. You order at a kiosk. They bring you food. Moderately priced (maybe expensive) for chicken wings, fries, and a drink, but so delicious, I felt like it delivered the value, and I am very glad I went with my wife.
BEST WINGS IN ORLANDO!!!!! The food here is soooo good. Literally any flavor of anything. I just miss when you could order on the screen & sit at the table. Now someone has to attend you but you still get your own drinks and they still end up wanting a server tip because they went up to your table. All they do is get your order and bring it. They just want more money for tips but the workers get full pay not a servers pay!! Other than that, the food is too good so imma recommend it everytime lol
Really wanted to like this place but the chicken just seemed really dry. I ordered one regular burger with the mayo, a burger with the Asian tangy sauce and the fries covered in beef/chicken.
The place was empty but promising. We had our food within 10 minutes of ordering which had me curious considering they were dead quite before we walked in. Everything tasted good though! We went for a second round! I didn't even know I captured a pic of the bug until we were looking back on the fries we wish we could have eaten. Look at the end of the fork facing me :( We ordered some fries and got a bit more than we asked for when a bug crawled up from under the paper lining. so...empty store + food coming out suspiciously fast + a bug = concerning gonna give them some time and maybe come back, the wings *were* good !!
I had high hopes for this place but it didn’t deliver. Ordered 10 wings a chicken tender sandwich and fries and water, total came out to $30. Wings weren’t bad, but many places have them beat, including the shops across the street. The tendies sandwich was horrible, I’m 100% certain it’s frozen tendies that you buy at the wholesale stores. Not juicy at all. It sucks when you can’t match the quality of PDQ, Raising Canes and you charge a premium price for less quality.

I ordered 10 wings for $16 (came to $17.04 with tax), and honestly, I regret the purchase. No sauce included unless you want to pay an extra 50 cents for a side of ranch… which feels like a nickel-and-dime move for an already overpriced order. The wings were breaded and were soggy. I tried 2 flavors: Spicy Honey (Medium Heat) and Buffalo Garlic (Medium Heat). Unfortunately, neither lived up to their names. The spicy honey had zero spice, and the buffalo garlic lacked any real garlic flavor. Both were bland and underwhelming. For the price, there’s no room for flavor misses. Wings are meant to hit, and these just didn’t. Not a fan, and I won’t be buying again. 👎
DO NOT order delivery from here. We ordered last night and finally got our order. No only were we missing about $20 worth of food which driver confirmed that it was the only bag they gave him. BUT the crushed the foam containers which caused sauce to leak everywhere. I had ordered 1 6-piece with buffalo on the side, 1 6-piece of hot Honey, 1 6-piece with Hot honey and sweet soy, 1 bulgogi Fries, 1 regular fries, and finally large dough dessert. I got 2 x 6-piece plain (no sauce anywhere) and 1 6-piece hot honey and 1 regular fry. The food was terrible. You know when you overcook chicken in a microwave hen you reheat it and you get those hard side bits and it becomes super dry. That is this chicken. Terrible flavor. Even the hot honey was meh. Literally threw away over half of this food. Totally inedible. I called the next morning since they refused to answer the call last night to get some kind of explanation. Nope. Got a attitude on the phone telling me I have to go to Uber for help. No explanation of why my food was fully missing or terrible or why people refused to answer the phone. Nothing at all. USE CAUTION IF YOU ORDER FROM THIS PLACE ONLINE!!

we ordered a combo meal for two. honestly looks are deceiving. lemon pepper wings were bland, little acidic and oily, the buffalo garlic oh boy. the buffalo was just sooo vinegary, no garlic or garlic taste at all. Next, the tenders. 0 absolutely not it for us at all. they look sooo good but taste muted like no flavor at all. they all just taste like straight blown chicken. which took me by surprise because they looked appealing. The fries and kimchi fried rice were okay. not much to the flavor tbh just fries w meat and rice. dissatisfied overall wouldn’t return unless the flavors start matching their description 🤷🏽♀️
My daughter and I showed up at 7:45 PM well before the 9 PM closing time. My daughter ordered chicken sandwich and fries which came out and she said it was really good. I ordered a chicken bowl which came out cold. We also ordered chips and queso, and the queso was like paste. It was so cold. My daughter ordered a soda which she got, and I ordered a water which I never got until I got up, grabbed the cup from behind the counter. All our server was sweeping the floor and got my own drink, which is fine.while we were eating at 8:15 they were sweeping the floor and stacking the chairs on top of the tables, making a bunch of noise basically telling everybody to leave. I would probably go back. Maybe it was just a bad day, but definitely not anywhere near closing time which I was there an hour and 15 minutes before closing.
Fast service, but absolutely was not worth the price. Chicken was EXTREMELY bland and not even the kimchi could help. Fries were alright but were being carried by the seasoning, which there was not enough is. I strongly recommend seeking a different location if you want a authentic Korean Fried Chicken experience.
We ordered this through Uber eats with such high hopes. This place looked so good but what we received was absolute trash. We spent $69 dollars for what felt like old stale food. We ordered the Korean fried wings and not only did they come plain we didn’t even get any of our sauces on the side. The tenders came the same way. We also ordered the bulgogi chicken with rice and it didn’t come with anything it said it would. I will never order from this place again.
Walked into this Korean chicken spot in Mills expecting a decent late-night bite, but left with a really disappointing experience. When you enter, there's no clear dine-in vibe just a counter to place your order but there are tables inside. So after ordering around 8:38 PM (well before closing), we assumed we could sit and eat like the other customers already dining in. We sat at an empty table, and that’s when one of the staff a guy with pigtails came over and rudely told us we couldn’t sit. No explanation, no courtesy. Just attitude. It felt like we were being kicked out, even though we were paying customers and there were still people eating inside. When we asked for napkins, he couldn’t even be bothered to help. To top it off, once our food came out, they handed it to us like takeout and expected us to eat it… in our laps? No trays, no space, no care for basic customer comfort.
Absolutely terrible Service had no urgency or hospitality, We sit down and order, literally 1 minute later the food arrives, normally it takes atleast 8 minutes to fry good Korean fried Chicken some of the best places will take 10 minutes or even 15 minutes for you to get your food. This took 1 minute which told me that this was sitting in the hot box. We ordered the rice as well which you can see in the pictures is hard and also dried out which tells me as well, that it was already sitting there for a while under a heat lamp or refried in the wok with no care. The chicken was incredibly dry and even though we made the complaint and DID NOT eat the food they still left it on the check. I personally asked one of the servers if they normally leave the food on the ticket even though the guests did not eat it and it was not cooked well, and he said yes. Dont go so many better places
Was so excited to try this place out. Unfortunately after two bites of the chicken sandwich, I realized the chicken was RAW. Husband went back inside to kindly let them know, ask for a new sandwich. Instead they offered a refund which I thought was generous considering I only wanted a new sandwich. Waited 10 more mins and when we went to check on the new sandwich the manager argued with the server they weren’t gonna make it if they already gave a refund and if we wanted a new one we had to order it. Don’t waste your time, major lack of customer service and I never got the proper cooked sandwich.
